Chapter 12 Nat's bombshell

Nat's point of view

Wakanda was becoming very dangerous. Namor's threat was already showing impact

"Your Majesty, we need to decide what's going to happen - whether we should leave or stay."
"I suggest we leave, immediately" said Queen Shuri

"Are you sure?"
"Yes, if Namor comes back we're in big trouble."

"Honestly I'd be more concerned with this Thanos guy." said Clint

"Who?" Shuri asked

"Thanos. He's also called the Mad Titan. For the past several years, he's been going around decimating planets, taking what he wants and killing half of the people. If he gets all 6 infinity stones, he can wipe out half of the UNIVERSE, with a single click of his fingers,"

"OK…"

"What do we do?"
"We go to New York, to The Avengers tower, and safety"

"All of us?"
"Yes, all of us"
"Even…?"

"Yes even…"
"Don't you think we should have?"
"I think so but we'll need to do it once we arrive"

"OK"
"Sorry to keep talking in circles but, for security reasons it is necessary. We will explain everything when we get to New York."

We packed up what we would need and left Wakanda behind. We made sure to make it look like a ghost town. The Jabari stayed to protect the country.

Tony's point of view

When Nat and Clint arrived back from Wakanda, they had brought T'Challa's family with them, and two people who looked awfully familiar. I was far from impressed.

"Natalia Alianova Romanova, Clinton Francis Barton-Stark you have exactly five minutes to explain why you have brought these interlopers who look suspiciously like my biological parents into this?"
"Tony, your parents were not murdered"
"You better prove it or I am never ever speaking to you again, I will remove myself and my support from the Avengers and how will you explain that to your big bad war hero Steve Rogers. I want a DNA test done NOW. And the results better be satisfactory… or else! I do not care how much it costs to get the results back ASAP, just do it and then have Bruce double check them!"

24 hours later.

"The results are back, Bruce checked them over and they confirm that these are your parents."

"Let me see the results"

"OK"

"It's not that I don't trust you Brucey, it's just… I want to be sure"
"I know Tony. I get it, don't worry. You went through hell when you thought your parents died — we all did. It was worse for you because they are your biological parents."

"Precisely. Once I have the results verified by an external lab, I will be calling a family meeting."

"We also need to call a team meeting"

"Correct"

2 hours later

"The results are back Tony. these are definitely your parents"
"Good"

The family meeting was long, and interesting. The team meeting turned into a slug-fest.

(AN: There'll be team turmoil stuff in Stark for President so I want to make sure I'm not repeating myself. I've been accused of that before.)
