I adore this chapter, it was hard to write but it was so fun!

"Mika, this is Enji Sarutobi, a powerful fire style master and taijutsu user. He is the strongest of my clan besides myself." The Hokage introduced Mika to the hulking man with auburn hair and muscles for days. His chakra, which Mika could sense coming off of him in waves, was incredibly dense and full of power. "Enji, this is Mika, a splendid medical ninja with fingers in many other forms of combat. If what Guy says is true, Mika has skills in sealing and barrier ninjutsu and genjutsu, all in a matter of months."

Despite his dislike for the Hokage, Mika flushed, it was something else to be praised by such a powerful force. The man was a living legend to anyone the knew history, and Mika had an excellent understanding of the past.

"You honor me, Lord Hokage." He turned to Enji. "It will be an honor to work with you."

The man nodded, stiff and cold. "We are to go on a mission to a place in the Land of Fire, to rescue a group of chunin that were potentially led into a trap. Recent information tells us they were led astray, or could have been. There is a town, Tobirama's Grotto, where they may have been ambushed. They may not be alive, we would be sending more but there are simply not enough available recruits for this mission. Especially medics. Are you willing to save their lives, act as a medic and fighter?"

"Of course." Mika knew though that he was being chosen since he mattered the least, why else send someone so inexperienced?

"Good... we depart now. Try and keep up." The man shot off, out of the window and toward the gates. Mika, used to Guy and Lee's training, matched his speed and kept up easily. The man, Enji, turned ot him. "You're swift, I like that. Keep the pace, there is much to lose here."

The rush to Tobirama's grotto took hours, even at top speed, four hours passed before they could see the town in the distance. It was a small town, split by a river Tobirama the Second Hokage had made decades prior. The place was famous for that river, a popular tourist spot. Mika couldn't see anyone milling about, it seemed a ghost town.

Something caught his attention suddenly and Mika moved fast, medically training attention to detail making him shove his senpai to the side. "Explosive tags." He whispered before pointing them out to the man, who's eyes widened.

"How did you see those?" He pointed to the almost invisible shapes of the tags blending into the bare trees approaching the town torn by a river. "I have been a ninja thirty years, you can't be better than me?"

"I'm not, I am a medic, we are taught to see details like that. It's part of healing... There are forty more, lurking around, I can make them out as I look out... the forest is full of them. Many of them are in barrier traps... the enemy wants no one to enter. I can disable them, though, they have a really severe weakness." Mika pulled out a senbon, tossing it charged into the center of the trap. The trap sizzled out and Mika felt a sort of pressure release. "Tsunade discovered that, with her amazing control... I can lead the way, but you have to be delicate."

The man nodded, respect blossoming in his eyes. "I can see my uncle was right, you are quite good... move on, I will watch your back."

And so Mika led the way, soon his chakra waned too much as they dispelled the last of the traps. They were by the river, where Mika realized something else. "We can't smell anything, the river will stop that... and it impedes our hearing."

Laughter filled the room and Mika felt dread fill his heart. A man leapt over the walls of the village, landing by the river, twin blades shimmering with lighting chakra. "Pity you'll be dead soon, to think you could dispel my traps so easily. I am Raiga Kurosuki, and you are going to make me an excellent Funeral."

Mika recoiled. "The Seven Swordsman? Enji, he is a powerful ANBU level fighter armed with blades of infinite lightning chakra and twin extremely sharp blades... and I sense a strong chakra on his back, but it's a person... and their sick."

Enji nodded as two more people, clearly civilians armed with metal clas, popped down off of the wall. "You handle the meat bags, I'll take this one on."

Mika just sighed. "Fine, but I want the Kiba blades if you win."

Enji snorted. "Impress me, and I might let you."

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
