Ikana - 4pm
Zora Kafie and Goron Shiro just made it past the east entrance at the same time. Zora Kafie showed off his electric aura and quickly flew towards the ground then pulled up at the last second and did a forwards backflip then landed smoothly on his feet. Goron Shiro was moving full speed and fully charged up with his red aura surrounding him and spikes sticking out. He quickly rolled towards Zora Kafie then did a sharp skid and untucked from his ball form and stood up. Goron Shiro: Looks like you're getting used to that body! Zora Kafie: Yeah, you as well! Goron Shiro: Oh! You'll never believe who I talked to! Zora Kafie: I'm guessing since we both have magic power now, you spoke to one of the 3 goddesses? Goron Shiro: Oh...Good guess.
All of a sudden, several skeletons came running around the corner towards them. Another wave followed behind them consisting of redead and gibdo. Zora Kafie: Let's see what we can do with our new powers! Goron Shiro charged up din's fire as Zora Kafie charged up Nayru's love. Goron Shiro ran towards the big group of skeletons and punched the ground right in front of them and a big wave of fire charged towards them. It roasted 6 of them as the other 6 split into 2 groups and went to the sides of the fire. Zora Kafie's charged up boomerang blades met them around the fire wave and shocked them, killing them instantly. Goron Shiro: Not bad!
East entrance - 4:30pm
Cremia and Tael showed up at the east entrance just past the stone posts sticking out of the ground. Cremia looked over towards the north and saw the blizzard getting worse. She looked over to the south where she just came from and she could see a toxic purple haze above the swamp. Way on the other side of Termina field, she could see the fog from the oceans. Tael: It looks like we're running out of time! We need to keep moving! All of a sudden, half a dozen poe's showed up blocking the East entrance. Cremia took out her twin blades and ran towards them full speed.
Stone Tower Temple Boss Room - 5pm
Link slowly walked into the boss room. Tatl made her quick dinging sound. She quickly flew over towards the left side wall of the boss room. Link looked over and saw the Skull Kid chained to the wall. Next to him was Grog and Sakon also chained up. Link had a confused look on his face. The Happy Mask Salesmen appeared 20 feet away from Link. He stood in behind the portal in the ground that Link went through to fight Twin Mold over a year ago. He also remembered his vision of the Garo master and his men following him through the portal, jumping down the stones in the Stone Tower and then entering Ikana valley to attack Igos du Ikana and his soldiers. Link stared into the portal as if his mind was wandering.
Tatl: Alright, you've got some explaining to do. We did everything you asked and got your stupid mask back. So why steal Link's masks? Was it you who set this whole thing up? Those 4 mask salesmen kids from the moon were your creations weren't they? The Happy Mask Salesmen: Yes, I created them just as I created Termina! I stole your masks and items to give to my children to power them up and give you a challenge so I can gather more Hyrulian energy from you. Tatl: Hyrulian energy? Link remembered the vision of himself aging faster because The Traveler kept playing that song to fast forward time for Link.
The Happy Mask Salesmen: Many generations ago, the 3 goddesses created Hyrule and the 3 pieces of the Tri-force. Power, Wisdom and Courage but their was actually a 4th middle piece. Many generations ago it was known as the Delta-force. The 4th piece of the Delta-force was chaos! He lifted up his left hand and a dark purple glowing triangle formed inside of 3 empty triangles. The 3 goddesses teamed up to banish me to another dimension! He had his hands on his head with his elbows sticking out as he was flailing in anger with an insane look on his face.
Tatl: So you were banished from Hyrule to Termina? Happy Mask Salesmen: More accurately, I was banished to an another dimension and then from that dimension, I created Termina with my Delta-force piece of Chaos. I built Stone Tower Temple along with that portal many generations ago to enter Hyrule and challenge the 3 goddesses! The Happy Mask Salesmen: You miss your home of Hyrule, don't you? You wish you could return? Well I've got news for you...You already did without even knowing it! Link gasped and Tatl quickly replied: What do you mean? The Traveler: You must have noticed your precious Tri-force symbols in some areas of Ikana. Notice how it's not found anywhere else in Termina? That's because Ikana holds the portal to Hyrule! Just like the portal that you, the Skull Kid and I came through from underneath of Clock town.
The Traveler: When you were fighting Twinmold you were in a desert but Termina has no desert! It was the desert from Hyrule! You were maybe a 5 hour walk away from the Desert Colossus! Link was stunned and couldn't believe it. The Traveler: It's also my doing that the Garo and Ikana were at odds with one another. When I created the portal in Stone Tower Temple, the Garo entered Ikana to spy on them and ended up starting a war with one another! It was very amusing! Link thought back to the Vision of Truth with Sharp selling his soul to the devil. The Happy Mask Salesmen: The portal worked but...the problem was I didn't have Hyrulian energy and because of this, my powers were useless outside of Termina. I could only enter Hyrule in disguise with my Happy Mask Salesmen mask.
Ikana Valley - 6:30pm
Goron Shiro had both his hands lit up with Din's fire and was smashing the skeletons and caving in their skulls. Their lifeless bodies hit the ground. Zora Kafie cut through 2 gibdo and 2 redead with his zora blades charged up with lightning but 1 crept up behind him and went to latch onto his back. Zora Kafie's blue energy shield bounced the redead onto the ground flat on it's back. Zora Kafie did a forwards backflip and landed heal first, killing the redead. Moments later the last of the enemies were defeated. Zora Kafie: We must get to Link! Everything went oddly quiet. Seconds later they heard a faint clanking in the distance that sounded like heavy armor moving around. Goron Shiro and Zora Kafie turned their heads as it got louder. They both kept staring in the direction of the sound as it got closer. An Iron Knuckle wielding a giant 2 handed hammer emerged from behind the corner of the rock wall.
Zora Kafie: We need to retreat! Goron Shiro: What?! What about helping Link? Zora Kafie: We will find another way to him! Goron Shiro: I know this area. There is no other way! Zora Kafie: You don't understand! As I was training to be a guard, they would often warn us about these things. Every time a Clock town guard faced one of these things, they died! All of them! This thing has killed 3 guards at once before! The Iron Knuckle continued to walk towards them as it's armor continued to make the clanking sound. Goron Shiro: You and I were better than the Clock town guards even before Link returned. Now we have these masks and have pretty much mastered them! The Iron Knuckle grunted in anger than started running towards them. Goron Shiro: We can do this! Goron Shiro charged up Din's fire. Zora Kafie: I hope you're right! Zora Kafie charged up Nayru's love and the blue energy shield surrounded him once again.
Stone Tower Temple Boss Room
Tatl: Your mask? Happy Mask Salesmen: Yes...This isn't my true face...He took his mask off and to Link's surprise, he looked just look the blonde haired figure from one of Link's Visions of Truth. The one showing the origins of Majora's mask. The Traveler: The Happy Mask Salesmen is a character I portray only to enter Hyrule undetected by the gods and also so I could find the chosen one who had the power to come to Termina, save the world and also make the most powerful mask in the world! The best part is, because you are from Hyrule, your Fierce Deity mask can be used in Hyrule! With the Hyrulian energy of Grog, Sakon, the Skull kid and now you and your Fierce Deity mask, I can finally pass over into Hyrule with my full power intact! Then kill the 3 goddesses!
The Traveler: The Great Fairies are dead, the Giants are dead! Only you stand in my way now! Link: You have my Ocarina of time. The Traveler: That Ocarina of Time is mine! I created it generations ago and I gave it to the Royal family in Hyrule because I knew eventually it would be passed down to the chosen one. I had a feeling about you when you first walked through my front door in Hyrule market. I could sense you were the chosen one. I set up the mask side quest for you to see just what you could do. You didn't just save Hyrule but you took the time to make everybody happy and went above and beyond to try and help everybody. I knew I could use that talent in my world of Termina because I knew you could conjure up the most powerful mask with the merits of all people in Termina!
Tatl: Hold on, if you made this world then why would you even bother creating the Great Fairies or the Giants if you just wanted to kill them anyways? The Traveler: This world had 4 giants and 5 great fairies because even though this world is my creation, I created it based off of Hyrule. That's why you see so many familiar faces but different people in this world. Every world is built with some balance. Wherever there is evil, there is also good. I can't leave the 2 portal zone's of Termina. 1 being underneath Clocktown and the 2nd being right where we stand. So I devised a plan to set up Skull Kid to take my mask so he would enter Termina and wreck havoc. Unfortunately though, Majora's mask could only shatter the fairies into pieces, not kill them completely and could only trap the giant spirits into the masks of the 4 temples bosses. I wanted a way to completely destroy the Great Fairies and the Giants so I could completely rule this world!
Ikana Valley
The Iron Knuckle charged towards Zora Kafie and Goron Shiro. Goron Shiro tucked into a ball and rolled towards the Iron Knuckle. The Iron Knuckle reached up with his 2 handed hammer then swung downwards towards Goron Shiro right as he approached. The hammer just barely missed him as he rolled past the Iron Knuckle. The Iron Knuckle started running towards Zora Kafie and swung his hammer at him from above. Zora Kafie with a blue energy shield covering him, lifted his 2 zora blades up to defend himself. The hammer smashed the blades and the blue energy shield flickered and sent Zora Kafie flying towards a big boulder sticking out of the ground. He bounced off of the boulder and landed on his stomach. The shield flickered again. Zora Kafie: Thank the Goddesses I have this energy shield...That would have hurt!
Goron Shiro rolled towards the Iron Knuckle with his red energy aura blazing and his spikes sticking out. He smashed into him and damaged his armor. The Iron Knuckle grunted in pain then swung his hammer from the side and smashed Goron Shiro and sent him flying into the large rock wall of the canyon. Zora Kafie launched his electric zora blades. They quickly flew towards the Iron Knuckle. The Iron Knuckle deflected them with one massive swing of his hammer. Zora Kafie landed a powerful kick to the face of the Iron Knuckle only seconds after catching his zora blades. The Iron Knuckle grunted in pain.
Goron Shiro slowly but painfully got up and charged up Din's fire again. He could feel he was almost out of magic power. The Iron Knuckle swung at Zora Kafie from above, but missed. He swung from left to right and Zora Kafie ducked just in time. Zora Kafie swung upwards with both zora blades and took off a chunk of the Iron Knuckles thick armor. The Iron Knuckle swung his hammer full force and hit Zora Kafie right in the gut and sent him flying again. His Blue energy shield died as Zora Kafie flew through the air. He landed in the river of Ikana and sunk to the bottom.
Stone Tower Temple Boss Room
Link: When you agreed to return me to normal if I returned your mask...how could you remember any of that if I played the song of time and reset time? Time doesn't seem to effect you...The Traveler: Because the song of time only sends you and Tatl back in time...Not everyone else. Link gasped as he thought about the Vision of Truth when it showed everyone dying after Link went back in time. The Traveler: It's the same as when Zelda sent you back in time to relive your childhood. That timeline still exists! Yet, here you are in a different timeline. Every time you went back in time...You left all those people to die...Link had a shocked look on his face.
The Traveler: I have been watching you since you first entered Hyrule market. You sold my masks for me and in return I lent you the Mask of Truth. Just so you know, the Mask of Truth you found in Termina was the same one from Hyrule. The one you possess right now! When I first found a way to enter Hyrule again in disguise was during the bloody conflict of Hyrule and I found the Mask of Truth and stole it from the Sheikah. It helped me find Majora's mask back in Ikana as well. After I saw how well you did with the masks in Hyrule, I followed you to the lost woods when you left Hyrule. The Skull Kid attacked me and took my mask but I set the entire thing up! I knew if the Skull Kid stole my mask, he'd enter Termina and so would you!
Ikana Valley
Goron Shiro had both his hands wrapped around the Iron Knuckle's hammer as he was trying to hold it back. Zora Kafie shot out of the water and flew towards the Iron Knuckle. He did a forwards backflip towards the Iron Knuckle. The Iron Knuckle shoved Goron Shiro onto his back on the ground then turned towards Zora Kafie and got ready to swing the hammer to smash him in mid air. Just as the Iron Knuckle went to take a swing, Goron Shiro grabbed the hammer and stopped the attack. Zora Kafie; Yes! Good job Shiro!
Zora Kafie used the last bit of magic power he had to charge up his mid air kick with lightning. He smashed the Iron Knuckle right in the face. It grunted in pain and dropped it's massive hammer. Goron Shiro used the last of his magic power for one more Din's fire. He punched the Iron Knuckle and flames ripped off more of his armor as he stumbled towards Zora Kafie. Kafie took out his zora blades and swung left, then right, then did a forwards backflip and kicked the Iron Knuckle in the face once more. The Iron Knuckle dropped to the ground and was destroyed.
Zora Kafie dropped to his hands and knees. He was exhausted and could barely move. Goron Shiro slowly walked over to him and helped him stand up. Goron Shiro lifted up his right hand, then Zora Kafie lifted up his and gave him a high five. Goron Shiro: I told you we could do it! Zora Kafie: Yeah! Just at the cost of nearly dying! I hope Link is okay because we might not be of much use to him in our current state of low health and basically no magic power!
Stone Tower Temple Boss Room
The Traveler: I knew if you entered Termina as a true mask expert, you'd be able to obtain a mask even more powerful than Majora's mask. Majora's mask was the most powerful of all...until you created this one...He held the Fierce Deity mask in his hand. The Traveler: I don't need Majora's mask anymore. Link had a worried look on his face as he looked down at the mask. The Traveler: Just like the 3 chained to the wall, you are originally from Hyrule and your energy flows the same as your home world. I have brought them here as means to add that Hyrulian energy to that...He pointed towards the portal in the ground. Link looked into the portal then back up at the Traveler. The Traveler: Now that I've told you everything...Shall we go? He put the Fierce Deity mask towards his face.
