Somewhere in the woods, an camper was relaxing by the firepit.
Who is this camper? Well from the looks of his outfit, it was actually JD but yet it wasn't actually him..
What creature was he? Why, He's actually known as a human, a being of the place known as Planet Earth. He was at the campsite after dropping off the human version of the heroic troll that will be arriving very soon at the local airport earlier.
So as he began to relax, he heard a groan from the forest and immediately he got up and ran up to the source of the groan.
"Hey! Who's out here?" John Dory yelled out as he walked through the bushes and saw an unconscious figure at an unusually glowing lake and who he saw, he thought that he actually recognized who it was.
"...Branch??" he softly said as he gets to the figure and he checks for a pulse which is still there.
"...Oh thank god.." he said in relief as he then picks him up and carries him to a caravan that looks like Rhonda from the other world. as he placed him in the bed inside the vehicle, he took out his phone and texts in a group chat that had three familiar names in it.
Meanwhile in another city, a human, that looks familiar to a certain magenta colored haired troll, checks his phone, hearing it chime before he has to go out for another set and becomes curious as he sees it's from his eldest brother, so wanting answers, he texts in the group
John Dory sees a text from the magenta haired human pop up,
[Floyd *Emo Boy* - Hey John Dory, What's up]
On another side of the world, an purple haired human who looks similar to the large purple haired troll from the other world, hears a beep from his phone, takes it out and checks as well wondering who would be messaging him and he saw that it was John Dory who texted.
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - Hey, is there something wrong? It's been a while since we used this thing]
Back in the main town, a green haired human, who looked familiar to an tall frizzy green haired troll, was in his bed when he got the notification from his phone. "Huh? What's this?" He said as he began to text in the chat.
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi*- Hey, what's with the family hotline? Is something wrong?]
John Dory then began to text to the group chat about what was happening.
[JD *The Oldest* - It's Branch...I found him in the woods..bruised and unconscious by a lake…]
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - BRANCH!? I thought he was taking his flight today]
[Floyd *Emo Boy* - Are you sure it's Branch? I saw his gf post a picture of them online about him leaving to study abroad. Maybe it's someone who just looks like him?]
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - Hold up? What's this about finding Branch in the woods?? Is he dead ?]
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - He said he was unconscious, not dead.]
Branch groaned, feeling his body and headache all over. Who knew going through a portal could rough you up so much. However he couldn't stay asleep no matter how much he wanted to and gradually opened one of his eyes.
[JD *The Oldest* - "Bruce's right he's knocked out cold right now, I'll send you a picture of him and when he wakes up in the morning, we'll be picking you three up and head to grandma's house for a family meeting"]
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - "...we haven't been to grandma's for 20 years...I miss her.."]
[JD *The Oldest* - "Me Too..since I was able to buy the house from the auction after her death, I'm legally the owner of the household"]
[Floyd *Emo Boy* - "I'll let everyone know I had an emergency and get over there asap."]
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - "same here I'll be over tomorrow around 3"]
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - "I'll cancel my sad book club and I'm heading over at 2"]
[JD *The Oldest* - "good so it's settled, see you guys in the morning, bros"]
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - "see ya in the morning too, big bro"]
[Bruce:"take care of branch we'll see you tomorrow"]
[Floyd: "yeah see you tomorrow bros"]
Branch, trying to figure out what was happening, fails at waking up fully but is also awake enough to be slightly aware of what's going on. Feeling a hard but plushy surface under him.
After that, JD closes the chat with a wave emoji and as he turns around, he takes a snapshot of Branch on the couch. Branch moves around a little bit trying to get comfortable with his face in his usual scowl. He tries again to open his eyes. With fuzzy vision he sees he is in some kind of box with seats in front of him. At least they look like seats. Looks like he's inside Rhonda but different. JD then sends the pic to the group chat and gets to the driver's seat and the caravan begins to move.
Branch's body tenses at the strange sound of the engine starting as the bug-like box moves.
His vision is still a bit blurry but he can make out another… person? In the driver's seat. He tries to move but the pain in his head is throbbing. "Hang on Bitty B, we're going to grandma's house and you'll be on a comfy bed soon.." he said as he drove out the campsite he was staying in and got on the main road.
Branch's body relaxes slightly. There are only three people who call him that. He knows he's safe. But if they are going to grandma's house…. Does that mean grandma is alive in this universe?
JD drove for a few hours till he made it to an neighborhood where he drove up to an house with a sign that said "Grandma Rosiepuff RIP"
Branch internally sighs in disappointment though maybe some of Poppy's optimism had rubbed off on him a bit in the last couple years. He then feels his body slouch a bit.
"Here we go.." JD mutters as he parks the caravan in the driveway, turns it off and gets off of the driver's seat.
"Ok bitty b..I'm going to carry you inside.." JD whispered as he went to branch's side. Branch feels a bit apprehensive about having to be carried in like a child while also feeling a bit of fluttery nostalgia at the idea of his brother carrying him to bed when he was younger. JD then picks him up and they head out of the door of the caravan and they went into the house
"*Sigh* ...I still feel nervous about this place...I wish I was there when you saw grandma...got shot in that drive-by...it's a good thing the police called me and our bros after you were taken to the police station to talk about what you saw…" said John Dory as they head to the stairs and go into a hallway where a door with a blue "B" sign was there.
Branch feels his heart sink. He has no clue what a drive-by is but if it's anything like how grandma Rosiepuff died in his universe it's probably a really bad way to die, He can hear JDs heartbeat slow and dull thuds against his ear, John Dory D goes to the "B" door and opens it.
"...oh god...it's like you never grew up..taking a deep breath..here we go.." He puts Branch on the bed "I'll make breakfast in the morning, little bro..I'll be sleeping on the couch..yell for me if you wake up and need something, ok?" He said to Branch as he tucked him into the bed.
Branch still had mixed emotions… his brothers came back into his life and it seems they left in this universe too. He doesn't know if he wants to hug his brother or ignore him and focus on finding creek. But for now feeling a too soft bed under him, he slowly lulls back to sleep.
Back with Floyd, he was at the airport when he opened his phone after talking to his manager about a family emergency, sending a quick message to the group chat.
[Floyd *Emo Boy* - I'll be on the next flight over How are you and branch?]
[JD *The Oldest* - we're already at grandma's house right now, Floyd, I just hope we get answers..]
He texted as he headed to the living room and sat on the couch.
Back with Bruce, he was on the plane as he opens the chat and messages quickly
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - We will John im sure there is a completely normal explanation for this]
With Clay, he was heading to the bus station as he opens the chat and messages it
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - Oh there's always an explanation for everything, JD, I just hope branch is up for it in the morning]
[JD *The Oldest* - I hope so..remember the plan for the morning?]
Floyd and Bruce then scroll up their phones to make sure that they only remember they need to meet up cause branch was found unconscious.
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - "Yeah JD I remember the plan since I have it written down in my journal"]
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - yeah we are meeting at grandmas for a family meeting when branch wakes up.]
[Floyd *Emo Boy* - yeah of course we remember the plan.]
[JD *The Oldest* - Ok great...see you guys in the morning]
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* and Floyd *Emo Boy* - see you in a bit bros.]
[Clay *Fun Sad Boi* - see ya in the morning too]
JD then closes the chat and lays on the couch to go to sleep "mm..hopefully things will go well in the morning" he said to himself as he fell asleep.
Branch then wakes up a little bit feeling like his throat is a desert and tries to get up slowly, his head still pounding, making him groan then he unintentionally goes back to sleep waiting for the sun to come up. He will figure everything out when he doesn't feel like he was in the middle of a stampede of country trolls.
A few hours have passed as the sun rose up and the particular signal of the morning rang out.
Then JD's phone alarm rang out as it was now morning.
"Agh...mm..well time to start the day" he said as he headed to the kitchen to get breakfast going.
Branch wakes up just as early as his internal clock used to starting the day at the ass crack of dawn from the last 20 years of doing everything by himself.
JD was almost done cooking breakfast "heh Bitty B is going to love eating this" he said as he smiled. Branch then slowly gets up his head, still hurting but no longer pounding like a drum. His head in his hands rubbing small circles into his temples, "..Fuck this hurts" he muttered as he noticed that he wasn't censored.
Suddenly the smell of the breakfast filled his nose and his stomach growled, then he took a deep breath in before getting up and looking around the room almost stumbling back seeing how high he was from the ground. "..wow.." he said softly as he took a few wobbly steps but he then noticed that he was wearing shoes and his skin looked different. He then began to move his toes seeing the shoe moving a bit. But before getting too distracted he walks out of the room following his nose to the kitchen.
JD heard him coming out of his room and set the table ready while putting the finished meal on the table.
"Bitty B is that you up there?" He asked if what he heard upstairs was actually his baby brother.
"Is there someone else here who could be named Bitty B?" branch asks with a bit of side remark… god he needs his coffee.
"Is that sarcasm I hear? Heh, seems like Floyd rubbed off on you..anyway breakfast is done" he said.
A small smile creeps onto his face hearing his brothers chuckle "I suppose. What are you making? Smells good" he said as he walked into the kitchen leaning on the counter still not quite used to his new stature.
"Oh the usual, Eggs, Bacon, Toast, and I whipped up some coffee" said John Dory as he turns to see Branch.
"I reckon you had a good sleep last night?" He asked.
"Umm… yeah you could say that" said Branch as he walks over and starts looking in the cupboard for a mug.
"Are you looking for a mug? I came prepared, baby bro" he said as he took out two mugs.
"Oh Th-" When Branch saw JD, he was shocked that he looked completely different, then he saw that his hand wasn't the typical troll hand anymore, he had five fingers on his hands. He kept looking over at JD and down at himself trying to figure out the differences from his normal troll body for what felt like hours, "Uh…you ok?" John Dory asked, looking confused.
Branch suddenly snaps out of it and nods frantically as he grabs the mug while looking at this "JD's face. Still has the same hair and eyes. Has a bit of scruff along his jaw. He's a bit taller than branch and he still has the goggles. His ears are smaller though not pointy or sticking up from his head. Branch can assume he looks much the same, casually lifting his hand to his face to feel if he also has facial hair.
"Heh, you still have the peach fuzz, bitty b" picks the coffee pot and pours it in his mug "anyway let's eat" he gives the pot to branch and goes to sit at the table. Branch then pours himself a cup and grabs a plate, joining his brother at the table and starts drinking his coffee. After a good bit is gone he lets out a content sigh and starts eating.
"Mmm..This is really good…" he said as he ate his food. "Why thank you little bro, I may be an adventurous camper but I can make a mean burger, and they say that Bruce is the family cook…And speaking of bruce.." he said as he took out his phone.
Back with Floyd, he had arrived at the house via taxi from the airport then he walked up to his grandma's old house after getting out of the taxi and paying the driver. He's feeling a bit nervous. Does he knock? It's his old home too. But just in case he knocks on the door making sure they aren't asleep and waits patiently.
JD then hears the knock "OH! we have company, I'll get it" he said as he got up and headed to the front door.
"Oh..okay?" said Branch as he looked around the home, seeing some old pictures on the wall. He remembers some of that as they are almost identical to the ones back in his home except instead of trolls the pictures are of smaller versions of whatever he is right now.
With Floyd, he hears footsteps from inside the house and smiles. Though wishing it was under better circumstances, it will still be nice to see his brothers together again.
JD then opens the door.
"Floyd, hey bro, how was your flight?" he said as he hugged him. Floyd was slightly surprised at first but then decided to happily hug his brother back,"It's good to see you JD, is Branch awake?" He said. "Oh Yeah come in, Branch is in the living room.." he said as he leads Floyd inside and he follows JD in.
Branch is still looking at the pictures but no longer content on just sitting and looking at them from afar as he was in the living room now "Hey bitty b, look who is here, it's Floyd"
Branch turned around somewhat surprised. He looks at Floyd taking in his appearance in this new world. He looks at him from head to toe making sure he's ok as he was still not quite over seeing him basically die in his arms a few days ago. Without really thinking it through he walks over giving Floyd a big hug.
Floyd felt surprised but happy to see his baby brother okay hugs him back "wow you've gotten so big. You're almost taller than me huh?" He said. "Heh I'm glad the two of you are doing good, I'm going out to check if Bruce and Clay have arrived" he said as he heads outside to wait on the sidewalk.
Floyd then lets go when Branch does and smiles "How are you?" He asked. "Oh, I'm doing great..I'm so happy to see you again..although..your outfit looks different" he said. "Different huh?" Said Floyd as he looked down forgetting he dropped everything and grabbed a few non eye catching clothes so he wouldn't get swallowed by fangirls "Well I guess I did just grab the first thing I saw." he explained. "Oh ok.." he said as he noticed the mirror on the wall and he saw his face for the first time "...what the…" he whispered as he touched his face, shocked and curious. Floyd looks at him curiously with a bit of worry.
He seemed to remember who he was and who his brothers were but it looks like he didn't remember what he looked like "Branch are you okay buddy?" He asked. "Oh! Yeah I'm ok..I just..never saw my face till now.." Floyd was confused by this "never saw your face?" his voice sounded curious as he kept looking at branch "do you not have a mirror?"
Meanwhile with Clay, he was taking the city bus and checks his phone, Then after a while, The City Bus carrying him arrived at the neighborhood and once it stopped, the doors opened and Clay walked out of it
JD was looking at his phone when he saw him "Clay! Yo man"
"Hey John, is Branch inside?" asked Clay as he fist bumped him, "Yeah he's with Floyd" said JD.
"ok I'll head inside" he said as he went inside to make his entrance "Yo Guys, Clay is in Da House!"
Branch heard him and was shocked that Clay looked pretty different, from his seemingly boring yet dapper outfit to his hair, which was not frizzy and crazy looking. "Huh!? Clay?" yelled Branch in disbelief.
"Uh yeah that's my name, baby branch" said Clay, confused.
"Hey clay, how's it going? Is JD still outside?"
"yeah, he's waiting for Bruce to arrive, so branch how are you?"
"Good, uh..why are you not wearing a sweater romper and why is your hair look properly well-maintained and not crazy-looking"
"...uh...because I know how to take care of my hair and sweater-rompers are not my thing..??"
"I don't know it would in the band days, Fun boy. Even if it was just to be silly and make branch laugh" smiles mirthfully thinking back to something similar in the past.
With Bruce, he was actually in his rented car as he hears his phone ding in his pocket as he is still about an hour away. He grabs it, turns on Siri to read the message to him and sends a quick voice to text to answer the message he got.
[B(Sp)ruce *Dad Bod* - I'll be there in about 45 minutes.]
After that, Bruce then looks at the road signs that lead to their grandma's house. It's been a while since he's been here.
And when Bruce finds the entrance to the neighborhood and drives down there, he sees JD outside of the house and parks his car out front by the caravan "Hey bro just waiting on me?" He asked. "yeah, Branch, Floyd and Clay are inside, let's go in the house, Bruce"
Bruce looks at JD for a bit before following him inside wondering if maybe branch isn't the only one they should be worried about. Although branch's current predicament was far more troubling than any of their feelings for now. Clay then sees Bruce come into the living room "Yo Bruce! You look great" he yelled as he ran up to hug him.
"CLAY! What's up bro" he hugs him back with a smile then he looks at Branch "Bitty B, Floyd, it's great to see you two."
Branch was shocked that Bruce doesn't have huge ass hair and is wearing a shirt not to mention he was also wearing a yellow heart locket that had the initial "B" on it with a red chain,"Uh...your hair looks much different.." he said confused yet curiously.
"Well Bruce is very good at haircare, though" Clay said as he nudged Bruce's arm.
"Yep, I still have a hard time keeping the ladies off me hehe. But unluckily for them, I've already found my soulmate." Bruce smirked as he showed off his heart locket in pride.
"Oh! Brandy right? How is she and your thirteen kids?"
JD accidentally stopped then started choking plus coughing on his drink.
"DAMMMMMMN THIRTEEN!?" yelled Clay, super shocked. Floyd then looks at Bruce absolutely gobsmacked and slack-jawed,"WAIT, WE ARE UNCLES!?" He exclaimed.
"What! No no no no. No, Brandy is my girlfriend! We don't have kids yet… I was actually gonna pop the question next weekend on our anniversary…" Bruce tried to explain to his shocked brothers.
The two brothers started to calm down and as for JD, he was still coughing from the coffee that it was starting to hurt "agh…holy shit..ack...that was a huge surprise.." he said as he cleared his mouth.
"wow...branch must be psychic if what he says comes true..if you have thirteen kids with brandy" said Clay, now pretty mystified. Branch was still confused by this "Oh..so you're not married yet?" He asked Bruce. "No not yet… but if you're saying yet then I don't feel so nervous about her saying no next weekend" he chuckles softly but still a bit nervously "thirteen kids…. That's gonna be one hell a lot of bills …"
"Yeah No kidding but hey! On the bright side if what branch is saying is true you'll be getting that big family you always wanted" said Floyd who smiled. "Oh yeah and we'll help babysit them when you and your lady need your "special time" alone" said Clay who fist bumped Bruce.
"Yeah that's right," said John Dory, now coughing a little bit.
"...What are bills?" asked Branch curiously.
Floyd was now looking at Branch with concern "Branch are you sure you are okay?" He asked worryingly.
"Eh, I'm sure he's fine. After all it's not like he's had to deal with them yet he was planning on going abroad for college. So Bills are what you pay so you can live comfortably. Like having a house, lights, water, medical care, that kinda stuff" Bruce explained to Branch who was listening to what he was saying.
"oh...I see...wait, what's this about college?"Asked Branch, wanting to know more.
"Uh..you remember what college is right?" asked Bruce.
"It's a place you go to after you graduate from high school...like your girlfriend poppy?" asked Clay.
"wait poppy!? Where is she?!" exclaimed Branch, worried about his girlfriend.
"I can check. Knowing her it's on all of her socials. " said Floyd as he takes out his phone and looks her up, "oh it looks like she's heading into her first lecture with a friend"
Bruce now looks at Branch skeptically, not sure what was happening.
"Uhhh…Are you sure you are ok, Branch?" Asked Clay, feeling concerned for their "baby brother".
"I'm ok clay..is Poppy the queen of this place?" asked Branch.
"oh…uh..actually she's a student like you as her sister is handing Mayor Peppy's job since he retired..if we lived under a monarchy, oh boy things would be pretty different" explained Clay.
"Also I think Viva would make a good queen, and Clay would be a good king as well since he and she are very close~"smirked John Dory.
"J-JD!" squeaked Clay, feeling embarrassed.
Bruce grins mischievously before walking over to clay and clapping one of his hands on his shoulder "don't get all shy on us now clay. We've all known for a while how close you two have been"
"mm..you guys...this is getting embarrassing...I'm trying to be serious about my relationship with her" groaned Clay.
"heh calm down clay" chuckled John Dory.
Floyd smiled at their antics but then shook his head "Come guys leave him alone. I think we are getting off topic here wouldn't you say? Diverging from the PLAN." he said, giving JD a pointed look. "right JD?"
"oh yeah! Family meeting time! To the couch everyone" he proclaimed as they went to the couch, including branch, Bruce took a seat in one of the bigger chairs and Floyd sat near branch, Clay sat on one of the chairs and JD sat in the middle couch.
"Ok let's get this started boys" said John Dory, being serious.
"Been a while but since you called for it you start JD," said Bruce.
Floyd leans forward listening intently almost like he's ready to jump in if some kind of fight ensues "we're all ears, John" he said.
JD then cleared his mouth as he started to explain the situation, "ok then so I was at the Neverglade Camping Grounds after I dropped off Branch at the airport and just as I was about to relax, I heard a noise in the woods and when I checked it out, I discovered what I thought was branch, unconscious and bruised, near what seemed to be a seemingly glowing lake, I took him inside my caravan and that's when I initiated the family emergency hotline" Clay was obviously shocked and confused by what John had said "Wait…a Glowing Lake?" he said.
Branch suddenly remembered what he was here in this new world, "Oh god...I forgot! I need to find creek and the gem of harmony!" He blurted out. Hearing that, Floyd suddenly remembered one of Poppy's recent posts from yesterday, "wait…Poppy's ex boyfriend Creek? What's a Gem of harmony?"
"HUH!? What did you say Floyd?" said Branch,"Uh..Creek? Tall, Dark, Handsome, Namaste mr. enlightened fella she dated like… a year before you?" said Floyd, getting more concerned.
"...give me the magic box please…" said Branch.
"...uh don't you mean a phone?" asked Clay, feeling more concerned for their baby brother.
"...You sure you ok, baby branch?" asked John Dory, feeling worried about their brother's mental state.
Floyd then pulls up a seemingly cute pick of Poppy and Creek when they were out on a winter date. He turned the phone so Branch could see but would not give him his phone with how he is acting. Bruce also looks at the picture "Oh! Is THAT BITTY B's Girlfriend? She looks SO sweet" exclaimed Bruce. "And not to mention, she's the sister of my girlfriend Viva," said Clay.
"OH yeah, they could be twins or something" said John Dory, also looking at the photo.
"oh She's Viva's sister? Are they sisters of the same personality sisters or polar opposite kinda sisters?" asked Bruce.
Floyd then noticed that Branch was getting angry every time he looked at the photo and pulled the phone away, "that's who you're talking about, Clay?" He asked his middle child brother.
"Yeah, they have the same personality: Sweet, Bubbly and Spontaneous, OH! She also likes Putt-Putt Golf, Milkshakes, Sundaes and French Fries, that's where we do our dates!" explained Clay who was looking very much in love.
"oh wow it looks like cupid has a grip on our cpa brother here~" smirked John Dory.
"Oh what if we did a triple date thing at a karaoke bar? Get the bros together to show the girlies how it's done huh?" he jokes while looking at his other brothers to see the youngest beginning to seath the more he looked at the pic.
"Uh….Branch?" said Bruce, now feeling worried about him.
"...uh...I don't think he's not ok…" said Clay.
"I think he's afraid that creek would take away his girlfriend.." said John Dory.
"No chance, Poppy broke it off with him years ago because they just didn't connect the way she thought they did and now just prefers him as a friend." He explained as he looks through his phone and finds the post showing it to branch and also showing him one of their latest picks together with poppy kissing his cheek.
Branch was obviously still worried about Creek taking his Poppy away from him,"...still Creek will try again…" he said sadly.
"don't worry, baby bro, we will kick his ass if he takes your girl" proclaimed John Dory.
"Oh We can totally kick his ass if he tries to take your girl because going off the pic Floyd is showing off right now, she is totally head over heels for you baby bro. Look at you go!" Bruce said as he pointed to a photo.
Branch was feeling very happy that these strange versions of his brothers are willing to help him keep Poppy safe, "t-thanks guys..now for the gem of harmony.." he said as he took Floyd's phone and tried to figure out how to use it. Floyd couldn't help but enjoy watching Branch struggle with his phone like he was a toddler again before moving closer.
"so what are you trying to do?" He asked his struggling little brother.
Bruce looks at the other brothers trying to see what they think of all this.
"agh..trying to..find information on...the gem of harmony…" explained Branch as he figures out how to work the phone.
Suddenly he finds a post that had the gem of harmony but it was actually placed in a handcrafted crown. "...The Fall Formal Prom..??" He said, confused.
"Oh Yeah, the fall formal, that's where they crown the prom king and queen of the fall season" said Clay.
"Wait, isn't that going on at Poppy's school?" asked Floyd.
"yeah that's what Viva told me," said Clay.
John Dory then began to think,"huh..and I bet if Poppy is one of the candidates..that means creek would try to compete for prom king" Bruce then said "that would make sense, seeing as he's probably not over her. But If she's like viva then she's a real sweetheart and he would be stupid to just let her go."
Branch then began to freak out at the thought of Creek trying to win Poppy's Heart "...I need to get to this college!"
"And do what? You were supposed to be on a flight across the world by now!" exclaimed Floyd.
"Yeah, that would be very suspicious if you suddenly reappear in the college," said John Dory.
Branch then realized that this may be a problem if he appears at this place and people knew him as someone else."...maybe pretend that I'm an identical twin" he said. "That's what you wanna go with? I mean it's better than nothing. But what are we gonna call you then 'Branch but not Branch'?" asked Bruce while doing air quotes.
"hmmm...how about..Bush?" said Branch.
"hmm...not a bad choice, bitty b.." said JD, thinking about the name choice.
"Bush?…really?" Asked Floyd, not really into that name.
"Oookay… I mean it kinda goes with mom and dad's name theme for us." said Bruce.
Branch was confused by this because honestly, he never knew his parents before he hatched a long time ago back home "..mom and dad?" Asked Branch.
"… same here. It's been so long somehow it's almost easy to forget they are gone." Said Bruce sadly.
Floyd puts his hand on branch's shoulder "you probably don't remember them, they died in a car crash just after your first birthday." he explained to him. Branch was shocked by this reveal.
"yeah...it was a hard day for us...we had to be placed under our grandma's care after the funeral…" said John Dory.
"oh god so many emotions going on…" said Clay who is on the verge of tears.
Floyd then lets out a long drawn out sigh, steeling his voice a bit to keep it from wavering. "you said… y-you need to get th-this Creek guy right? For the gem?" He asked Branch.
"...yes" said Branch, still not over that his parents in this world have died a horrible death.
Clay sniffled before getting up "then what are we waiting for, let's go to the college!" He proclaimed.
"Yeah! Let's go, Bush! Also we really need to figure out if you have some psychic powers or something. You know so much while also remembering so little." said Bruce, still not over the fact that Branch, now calling himself Bush, can actually know the future. "oh..you'll be surprised.." said "Bush", not sure about telling his "brothers" the actual truth about himself .
"yeah! Everyone to my caravan!" commanded John Dory who took out his keys.
"You mean Rhonda?" asked "Bush".
"Rhonda huh...that is a beautiful name for a caravan, might as well call her that for now on" said John
Then they head out of the home and get inside the caravan, "Bush" not knowing the next part of his mission may shock him even more.
