Chapter 3: Festival nerves

After what has happened Loona made it to her uncles home safe and sound and told them about the strange manor as they ate supper for the night as Frizzaroli chuckled "Sounds like you had an adventure! Hi tide low tide! The place completely changes" said Frizzaroli as it seems that the swamp area changes that way as Oliver helped "Power of the moon its impressive" said Asmodus carving something "What is incredible is Loona got to ride in Husks boat right?" Said Frizzaroli as Loona was confused "He is a boat owner but he also works in the towns tavern" said Oliver as Asmodus teased back but mentioned that he wasnt much of a talker as Loona looked at her uncle Ozzie as he studied the wooden owl he was working "Loona you should ask him for a ride again *Playfully shows the owl* [Deep voice] Loona ask him for a ride hoo hoo" he said as Oliver snickered as Loona looked at him "I will" she said softly but Ozzie got serious faced "But seriously Loona, its really bet for you to stay away from that old marsh house" said Ozzie as they all settled to eat as he looked solem "Oh really why's that?" Asked Loona as Oliver got playful "Ghosts" he said "Cut that out" said Frizzaroli "I'll just get some wine and juice now" said Ozzie "It didnt look like anyone was actually living there" said Loona "Not now anyway" said Frizzaroli muffled a bit as he swallowed "A while back it was a fancy vacation home for the first Lord of Gluttony, but anyhow the place changed hands a few time, but I think it has been empty for a while now" said Frizzaroli as Loona thought it over "Huh, interesting" she said eating

Dream

Loona felt like she was walking through the swamp at low tied her paws walking through the wet sand as Loona looked around in the fog seeing the grasses of the swamp as she looked through the fog and at the Manor with the light in the corner with the lights on as she gasped "Someones there" she whispered as she walked closer to the manor however as she got closer she started to sink as she gasped in shock as she quickly ran to a grassy hill as she looked into the window and saw a golden furred hellhound as her mane was brushed by a servent as she looked closer

Reality

Loona woke with a gasp as she got up as she thought about the dream of the odd gold furred hellhound. Outside Frizzaroli was taking care of the garden as Oliver had went to town to hang out with his girlfriend as Ozzie walked up with wood "Hay sweetie have you finished them yet?" Asked Frizzaroli "Hum?" What Inko asked for" said Frizzaroli "Ahhh uh almost done" said Ozzie as he noticed Loona walking out with her sketchbook "Oh hi Loona going out for a little stroll?" Asked Ozzie "Yup" she said calmly as she walked off "Almost done, yeah whatever" said Frizzaroli rolling his eyes "Um I'm going to go sketch, down by the-" started Loona "Sure have fun Loon!" Said Frizzaroli happy his niece is going out "Thank you" said Loona running off as she took the shortcut which was noticed by her uncles "Look at that kid go! She dosent look sick to me I dont know what Blitzo was worried about" said Ozzie noticing how Loona seem upbeat.

It then shows Loona running though the grass

Ozzie: as long as she is having a good time and eating well

Frizzaroli: thats for sure

Loona was just happy as she felt a sensation at how quiet the place is. Meanwhile in a diffrent area abunch of school kids were doing a clean up event as a head teacher "Everyone got it?" Command the teacher "All the trash you pick up should be brought back here" said the teacher via a megaphone as another yelled to bring the trash as all the students set out to take care of the trash pick up as several boys saw Husk as he was lining a fishing line and teased and taunted him due to the fact he keeps quiet at times

As the dino/wolf like hybrid sinner glared at the group "Hay! You're supposed to be cleaning this area" she yelled annoyed at how they are not focusing on cleaning and teasing Husk as the boys just barked at her that she wasnt in charge before waving him off as Husk looked up and saw Loona as she watched the whole thing as she bowed .

As ducks quaked in the swamps enjoying the sunlight and the freedom of nature as Loona road in Husks boat as she sketched in quietness as Husk fished as Loona sketched feeling calm and happy to just be alone and in the quiet that it felt not at all stressful as she looked at the manor home. Sunset came as she walked home to her uncles using the short cut humming as she went to bed as she had her sketchbook open showing the manor she drew as she laid on her back thinking about the hellhound with the golden fur as she smiled gently happy.

Morning soon came as Loona peeked out from the balcony of her borrowed room enjoying the fresh air and a new possibility as she got dressed and grabbed her sketchbook as she ran out "I'm going out" she said to Frizzaroli as he was hanging up the cloths "Hay wait Loona! *Stops* I have a little erred I need to run so hold on" said Frizzaroli as Loona looked down "Sure" she said not wanting to fight her uncle

Minutes later Frizzaroli was holding on a basket of lanterns as Loona carried a bag "Sheesh Oz should have bought these but no "I'm allergic to that lady" he said but has been wanting to meet you, she has a adopted daughter named Zeetsi who is just a year older than you" said Frizzaroli as Loona was surprised "Huh?" She said curious as she looked down.

Inkos voice: i'm sorry Zeetsi is at cram school today

Inside a manor like home a rabbit like sinner sat kneeling a bit happy for the delivery "Oh thats to bad" said Frizzaroli "And this must be Loona hello there" said Inko as Frizzaroli gently nudged the shy Loona "um…hello good afternoon" she said softly bowing as Inko noticed her sketchpad "Ah…you like to draw, so does my son Izuku before he moved out to become a info broker, may I see them?" She asked as Loona hid the sketchbook behind her back "They're u not good" said Loona as she was to shy to show her work "Oh…I know! How about you and Zetsi go to the tanabata festival together?" She asked as Frizzaroli clapped at the idea "Great idea! I'm sure I still have my daughters Yukata you'll look beautiful" He siad happy at the idea as Loona was shy "Oh…Okay…yah" she said down tone "I'll let Zeetsi know do come in" said Inko getting up surprising Frizzaroli as he followed "I wonder where I put" started Inko "Uh actually I was gonna go…" said Loona "Oh I forgot you were going sketching" said Frizzaroli as Loona stood straight and bowed as she ran off as Frizzarol thought she will look good as Loona walked down the street passing by some hellborns who were taking up trees to plant.

Loona: I wont look great! He should mind his own buisness

Thought Loona "I wont go…" she whispered as she hated parties and crowds as she walked to the beach as she saw the abandoned boat where Husk usually used "He's not here" she whispered wishing the cat was there so they can enjoy another day in the lake as she walked away but stopped seeing a grey skinned sinner with long white hair with a sun hat as she was painting something on a easel which made her curious as she decided to sit on the hill to sketch as she sketched the lake.

Sunset came as Zetsei waved goodbye to her freinds but paused seeing Loona drawing in her sketchbook but continued to walk pass her.

Dream

The fog cleared as Loona was laying on the grass hill she stood on when she saw the gold furred hellhound as she slowly got up and saw she was on the grass hill "Tides gone out" she whispered as she saw the tide was lower as once again she saw the manor and the light lit on the window and seeing the golden furred hellhound and her fur being brushed by a servent as it goes into the room as the hellhound got up

Reality

Loona gasped as she woke up in her own bed as she got up "Again" she whispered as she had that dream again with the golden furred hellhound as she looked up and saw a silver and yellow Yukata with purple marigold flowers as she sighed knowing she was forced to go to the party "The festival…" she whispered as she really didnt want to go…but had to.

Soon it was night as it was a festival of lights and wishes as many kids sang a song

'bring out the candies bring them out

Many kids were carrying lanterns as the younger ones went to the houses to ask for treats like its halloween as Loona holding a lantern followed Zeetsi "Aw man I wish I was wearing my Yukata" said as a female hell kitten named Kari (Kingdom hearts "At least your comfy" said a Female Blond Hell Kitten named Namine (KH) in a beautiful Yukata as Loona heard the gossip all around her as she heard the compliments on Zeetsi as she saw Loona as she stepped back to talk to her "Loona so like where are you from Originally?" She asked "Pride" she whispered "Oh thats awsome I bet Pride has great shopping" said Zeetsi "Maybe lots of cute boys too huh?" Asked Kari as Zeetsi waved a paw "No one was talking to you!" She said in a tease as Loona smiled as Zeetsi got close "So what brings you all the way out this way?' Asked Zetsi as Loona struggled at being so close to some one "Uh…well…" she stuttered but thankfully there was a distraction as they ran up the large stairs that were lit with lanterns as it lead to a shrine as there were many wishes tied on a tree and a school where a festival game was happening as many gathered around a tree where wishes were and where in the school was as a shrine with candles as Loona took a candle to lit for a wish as she went to a student teacher to get a wish tag "Here you go write your wish" she said as Loona took one as she studied the tag.

She then walked out to the wish tree as Zeesi saw her "Loona! Hay where did you go? I was looking all over for you? Didnt know where you went! *Sees the tag* oh your wish!" She said as she rudely took it out of her hand "Lets see now *I wish for a normal life everyday" said Zetsi as Loona tried to speak up as Zetsei was confused "Huh?" She questioned as she looked at Loona "Normal? What do you mean by normal?" Asked Zetsi as Loona struggled to speak up "Um well…you see…" she started but Zetsie saw her eye color "Oh my gosh your eyes?" She said as several girls got curious "Its Loona eyes they're sort of red its actually really pretty" she said as Kari and Namine came over but it made Loona nervous "Leave me alone already! *Underbreath* you hidious Dino-wolf freak!" She said as Zetsi gaped as the girls whispered as Zeetsi got mad as Loona gasped realizing what she did "Uh…I didnt" she stuttered as Zeetsi humped "Now I see why you wish to be normal, so pathetic you shouldn't even pretend to be normal after all you look like just what you are" she said as Loona took a breath "Hay wand d'you say we just drop it? And you could come out with us next week or-" Questioned Zeeti however Loona just having enough as she slapped the tag out of Zeetsis hand crying as she ran down the stairs as her name was called running down the stairs a feeling of hatred in her heart and of her actions

She then slowed down at the crossroads as she hugged her self coughing as her lungs compressed as she slowed down as she walked down the stairs to the lake crying

She looked up and saw the manor

Ugly stupid, moody

Tears got thicker as they fell down her cheeks

Unpleasant…

She then kneeled as she hugged her legs

The words of being called a freak for being adopted by a imp…

Thats why I hate myself

She thought to herself hating herself as she cried unhappy with herself

Echos of the past enter Loona mind as she thought back when she was 6 hugging a doll

The child usually goes to an aunt and uncle

I thought that we had already settled this matter

Many voices mumbled on who will take in Loona echoed all over as Loona hugged her doll closer as the shadows enclosed her.

End as a light flicked on as Loona looked up as she stood up as she saw the risen tide "I better get home" she said as she decided to go home soon stepped up the stairs to get back home but paused as she saw a candle light as she turned and saw a boat with a candle on it confusing her as she stepped forward and saw it was colored blue "Did someone row it here?" She wondered as the candle blew out as Loona gasped as she looked at the manor as she got a reckless idea as she got into the boat after stepping into the water as she got into the boat with a grunt as she got out the oars after untying it clumsy as she rowed the boat but clumsy as she wasnt used to rowing but she was persistent as she made her way to the manor as the lights turned on much to her surprise as she tried to row forward but they were stuck "Oh no its stuck" she said to her shock as she panted afraid she will crash but a voice yelled at her

Female voice: throw me the rope! Hurry!

"Rope?" Asked Loona but she saw the rope and saw it as she saw a golden fired hell hound with pink eyes dressed in a night gown as she ran through the gate holding her hand out "Quickly" she called as Loona did so as the gold furred hellhound quickly tugged on the boat and tied it to a pole at a small dock as the boat accidently smacked as Loona gasped in shock as she grabbed onto the dock as she tried to crawl onto it happy that she managed to get to a shore panting a bit as she looked up and saw the gold furred hellhound as she was in awe as she never saw a hellhound with such golden fur as she seem to glow under the moonlight "Are you okay?" She asked softly as Loona stared in awe "Um…yeah…good…are you…" asked Loona as she got out of the boat "Are you real?" Asked Loona but the gold furred hellhound shhh her "Wait lets not have anyone hear us" she said quietly "In my dreams I saw a girl just like you" whispered Loona in awe seeing the hellhound in reality "Dreams? Hm" she said with a smile as she ran up the steps as Loona followed up the steps nearly tripping but was saved by the hellhound "Thank you" said Loona thankful as the gold furred hellhound took her hand into hers

"Its not a dream" she said assured it was real taking her to the top of the steps area with a view of the lake "what's your name?" Asked the gold hellhound as she sat at the rim "Loona" "Loona thats a nice name, I hope that we can be freinds would you like that?" Asked the hellhound as Loona nodded but asked "Have you seen me before now?" She asked curious as the hellhound nodded yes "Often" "really? But I just got here how long have you been here?" Asked Loona "I've been here for a long time" she said as Loona tried to speak up

But the sound of a door opening as they looked in the back as more demons stepped in as the hellhound grabbed Loona hand as she ran to the side in a bush to hide as the hellhound hugged her close as a human like figure dressed in red "Look at this view the marsh at night" she said as some of the guests were in awe "How beautiful" they said "Say lets go down and get a closer look

"Please sis" said a tubby jester like figure "I know" said the female "By the way where is that child?" Asked a male hell hound "she is not in her room again" said the humanoid closing the doors as they stood up "I need to get back" the gold hellhound said "Where they talking about you?" Asked Loona "Yes, at this hour I'm usually tucked up in bed asleep" she said as giggling they ran down the stairs as Loona followed to the boat "Come on I'll row you back" she said closing the gate "So it was your boat?" Asked Loona "Of course I left it for you on purpose" said the hellhound as she unwrapped the rope "But I thought that you'd be able to row a little better" she said with a laugh as Loona smiled "Honestly…I thought I could to" she said

Minutes later as the gold hellhound rowed the boat over the marsh "You know you're my precious secret I haven't told anyone about you and I never will if someone finds out, they'll only spoil it" she said as she slowed her rowing "Please Loona promise me something *Holds her paws out* That we'll remain a secret forever" said the hellhound as Loona looked at her…her red pink eyes into her red eyes as she smiled and took her paws into hers "Forever" she said softly as the two hell hounds shared a look a bond is created together in the glowing moon on the lake
