Chapter 5

The night before the trip to go check out the school, Moroha looks through her closet to find a suitable outfit to wear for such an occasion. It's no problem for her parents. After all they dress in a business attire everyday so tomorrow shouldn't be that different for them.

She moves the racks along the poles to find the right top and bottoms. "Come on, there's gotta be a nice top and bottom for me." Moroha groans in frustration. She looks over her shoulder to see some discarded articles of clothes that she thought would be nice enough for her taste. But none of them are.

A knock gets her attention. She sees Kagome at the door. "Having trouble, Moroha?" She asks nicely even though she sees the clothes on the floor. Moroha sighs. "I don't get it mom. Why is it so easy for you and dad to dress for business while I just wear a school uniform and casual clothes?" Kagome giggles at her daughter's complaining.

"It's never easy actually, Moroha. You may think that, but it's more than just finding the right outfit for work. I really though your father was the easiest one who knows exactly what to wear for work everyday. I'm nowhere near his expertise. My outfits are a pit more simple because of the work's dress code." Kagome said as she picks up the clothes off the floor and set them on the bed.

"Dad knew exactly what to wear. Suit, slacks, tie, jacket. What could go wrong with that?" Moroha asks in the end.

"I prevent such an attempt, Moroha?" Inuyasha said with a smirk on his face. Moroha tilts her heads. "How would you do it? You make it look easy all the time."

Inuyasha chuckles. "It's all instinct, Moroha. You see, when it comes to dressing up for something like my job, we have to look as good and professional as possible. We want our customers to have a good impression on what we do for them other than that." He explains to her.

"What kind of instinct do you have?" Moroha asks him curiously. Inuyasha gestures her to follow him into the master walk in closet. Moroha has been in the closet many times when she was just a kid. Inuyasha turns on the light to see Moroha a huge variety of his clothes sorted out so nicely.

"Wow. You have so many?" Moroha said in awe.

Inuyasha nods, "Kind of. You see some of the dress shirts are the same color in a few groups. My slacks are always black no matter what. It's usually the ties that can make it difficult to choose."

Moroha looks to the rack that has so many different ties with different patterns and designs. She traces her fingers along the silky fabric of each one.

"Why don't you pick something for me to were for the occasion tomorrow." Inuyasha offers her from behind.

Moroha turns around. "Are you sure about this, Dad? I don't know rather or not on what I pick will be good enough." She said in uncertainty.

Inuyasha rubs her head. "Don't doubt yourself. It may be a weakness, but it helps you understand what you need to focus on."

Moroha looks around to find one of the dress shirts. She decided to go with a light blue one, one of the black slacks, and a deep blue tie to go with it. And gives it to him.

"Not bad, Moroha. You see it's easy once you get the hand of it." Inuyasha said proudly. Just hearing that Moroha gain confidence she needs to find the right outfit. "I know exactly what to wear." She runs out of the walk in closet and back into her bedroom to pick the desired outfit she knows for sure will be perfect for tomorrow.

Kagome enters the walk in closet to see Inuyasha putting his selected clothes for tomorrow onto the coat rack. "I take it that you encouraged Moroha to pick the right outfit for you." She said with a smile. Inuyasha nods. "Yeah. If there's one thing Moroha needs is confidence. I know for sure it takes a bit longer for her to get that."

Kagome goes to her side of the massive closet to find the perfect outfit. "So what are you going to wear?" Inuyasha asks curiously as he comes up from behind. Kagome smiles in content as she leans onto him. Inuyasha immediately wraps his arms around her. "This will do. After all it was the dress you bought for me when we were on our first date."

Inuyasha looks to see it's a simple blue dress for her. It has the right fabric to make it comfortable for her to breath and move around in. The bottom of the dress reaches her ankles so she needs to find a nice pair of dress shoes. "What are you going to about your hair?" He whispers into her ear.

Kagome giggles, "Simple. A bun for me, and maybe a ponytail twist for Moroha. Her hair is quite long."

Inuyasha combs his fingers through Kagome's raven black hair, feeling how smooth and soft it is. Even though Moroha has her mother's hair length, the black texture is whenever he's human, a more jet black tone. Along with the two strands like pigtails that Inuyasha has.

"Is there something else I need to know?" Kagome asks him curiously as they go into the living room. Inuyasha realized that he didn't show her the note that Totosai sent to him. "This is weird to begin with, but Totosai wanted to give this to you but somehow the note acted up and didn't want to be near you." Inuyasha explains the problem.

"I wonder why it didn't want to be near me?" Kagome questions as she is about to touch it but then the note pulsates and floats in the air. Inuyasha instinctively gets in front of Kagome so that she doesn't get hurt from whatever the note is going to do next.

"Do you think it has a mind of its own?" Kagome asks him. Inuyasha sniffs it carefully. "It has a demonic aura surrounding it. I guess it doesn't want make contact with a priestess." He gives an idea. "And it has my scent on it? I've never seen this before.

"Inuyasha…" A male voice speaks from out of nowhere.

Moroha sets the outfit for tomorrow. She then senses something off and goes to the source. She sees a eerie light coming forming from the living room to see what it's going on.

The light begins to form into a being. Moroha awes to see such a sight. "Mom, Dad. Who's he?" She walks to them. "Hello my son." The being spoke. Inuyasha knew one thing. "Father."

The being completes his form of a humanoid demon. Like Inuyasha he has long silver hair in a high ponytail, the eyes are the same golden color. His face has jagged indigo stripes that Inuyasha would have whenever he turns into a full demon. The ears however were elf like instead of the ones that Inuyasha has The outfit he's wearing isn't in the current's article or clothing.

He's wearing a suit of armor with a white furry cape behind his back. From such a status, he must've been very powerful in his time. "Hello, you must be Moroha. I'm the Great Dog Demon, but you can call me Grandpa Toga" He smiles in politeness. Moroha bows in respect. Inuyasha Kagome comes to her and observe. "Father, what' going on?"

"I've come to warn you about the school." Toga said first. "About Sakura Hills?" Moroha asks first. Toga nods. "Yes, you see the school isn't really a school." The trio pauses for a few seconds. "What kind of place is it?" Kagome asks him next.

"It's a sanctuary for hybrids beings like you, Moroha and Sesshomaru's twin daughters." Toga tells them seriously. Moroha didn't see that coming.

"Ok, so then why does it look like a school?" Inuyasha asks him in a concerned voice.

"At one point it was school like any other. But as time went by it begin to change its purpose to accept unique beings to attend. Someone there is trying to make them think which side of their own beings is better suited for them."

"But what about the note that came with the brochure. It didn't want to be near Kagome or Moroha because of them having spiritual powers." Inuyasha points out.

"You're right about that. You see I'm just a spirit and I don't want to be detected by anyone who has such abilities, that's why it was best that Totosai give it to Inuyasha instead of Kagome or Moroha." Toga said to them.

"But why does the place want me to attend?" Moroha asks him curiously. Toga smiles. "Moroha I believe you have what it takes to right what is wrong with the place."

"Father, what exactly does Moroha need to do there?" Inuyasha questions him. Toga turns his sight to him. "You were going to be there at one point but then something happened that I couldn't risk it. It's a simple task. You had to find who the mastermind of the school's deceptions. From time to time there's been a different person with that title, but we couldn't deter who it really was."

"Has this case been solved at all." Kagome asks him.

Toga shakes his head, "No, it's a very old case back about 50 years ago when it first opened to the public. We still don't know who it is."

"Does Sesshomaru know about this?" Inuyasha asks this time. "He was informed about it, but he dismissed it, saying that it doesn't interest him." Toga answers him.

"Should I tell him?" Inuyasha pressed on.

"That's up to you. Moroha, you can tell the twins about this if you want to. I can be sure that you can't do this alone." Toga gives his advice to them.

"I'll accept the offer if Towa and Setsuna agree to it." Moroha said in more determined look. Toga smiles. "You have my determination that I use to have." Soon enough the figure vanished with the note flowing down to the floor.

"Mom, Dad. I'll go as long as Towa and Setsuna are able to go as well." Moroha said seriously. Inuyasha and Kagome nod together. "Just tell the twins and let us know." Kagome said as she hugs the girl in her arms. "And I'll let Sesshomaru know about this as well." Inuyasha adds in as he joins in the hug.
