Norway. December. Christmas. It's a beautiful time. The air is crisp, the ground is white with snow, and the people are friendly. This is where a trio of individuals are going, a family of three. Gorou and Miki Hyoudou along with their year old son, Issei. Oslo Norway was a place of culture, of family and of adventure. That is one of the reasons why the Hyoudou family was visiting far far away from home. Or at least, they will be.

"Come on honey, we're going to be late." Gorou said impatiently to his wife of six years.

"Sweetheart. I am feeding our CHILD. Do you want to feed him? Oh wait, you can't. We have time." Miki snapped at her husband. She was tired. Miki was a housewife while Gorou worked ten hour shifts just to support them. The past three nights were just not fun for the poor woman. Issei seemed to be even needier as their Christmas vacation came around so he kept up the poor woman most of the night just to care for the infant.

"Honey, I'm sorry."

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped. We really need this vacation." She replied with a small smile.

"That we do." Gorou replied, giving his wife's forehead a gentle kiss before doing the same to the nursing infant.

[Attention all passengers. Flight 3756 for Oslo, Norway is calling for its final boarding process. Please report to gate 41.]

It was at that moment that Issei decided he had enough and released his mothers teat in order to go take a nap. Miki chuckled and wrapped the blanket gently over his face to keep the light out of his eyes. "Alright, let's catch this plane." She said and with that, they walked into the gate and into the boarding bridge into the plane, which they shut the doors right behind them. Miki bowed her head to the pilot with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, my son was hungry." The older gentleman smiled right back.

"Don't you worry about it. We're just happy you made it. Please take a seat so we can take off." He said before entering his cockpit and shutting the door. The couple took their seats in the front of the plane, thanks to another couple giving up their seats due to the infant.

The plane took off without delay and the couple went to sleep alongside their infant. A thirteen hour flight was underway.

Twelve and a half hours later, the intercom went on.

[This is your pilot speaking. We're preparing landing procedures so please fasten your seat belts. It looks like some heavy weather is around the city, but it shouldn't be an issue, but in any case, prepare for some turbulence.]

Outside the plane, hovering over the city of Oslo, Norway, were dark clouds. Thunderbolts streaked across inside the clouds, instead of crashing down while others crashed down to the ground every so often. Bright flashes of light filled the clouds and if one looked close enough, they could see several shadows within the clouds.

The plane shook violently out of nowhere and the oxygen masks fell from their compartments and the lights flickered before shutting off. The plane groaned as if underwater but it was over in twenty seconds as the plane got below the clouds. The lights flickered back on moments later and the plane stopped shaking as violently.

[Looks like the weather is a little rougher than planned but everything is okay. We'll be landing in ten minutes. The weather is a low minus 3 Celsius or 27 degrees Fahrenheit. The sidewalks and roads might be a little slippery so please watch your step out there, and hope you have a wonderful time in Norway]

The plane landed without any more problems, but the storm to the south of the city above the Fjord had intensified while the plane was coming in for a landing. Even more shadowy figures could be seen if one really looked for it as well as the increase of lightning. Miki and Gorou exited the plane and got their baggage rather quickly, exiting the airport to the passenger pick up. Right in front of the sidewalk was a black Cadillac sedan and standing at the driver door was a smiling man that looked Japanese himself.

Miki handed Issei over to Gorou and rushed over to embrace the older gentleman. "Dad!" She said with exuberance while the older man just laughed and hugged back.

"Hello Miki-Bear." He said with a heavy Norwegian accent. "Welcome to Norway." He said with a bright smile before looking over at Gorou with a smaller smile. "Hello Gorou."

"Dad." Gorou said with a gentle nod.

"Well let's get in the car before you all freeze to death. Have to take care of my Grandson after all." He chided playfully, as if he didn't care for the other two. The couple rolled their eyes and got into the car, with Miki in the passenger seat and Gorou behind her with Issei in the child seat in the middle. The car drove off and Miki and her father chatted along.

The car exited Oslo and headed northwest towards Sørkedalen which was a large valley surrounded by hills and mountains. It was a white wonderland. The car traveled up into the mountains, taking a gravel road before arriving in an alcove in the mountains where a good sized wooden home resided. It was surrounded by many trees, a small stream that lead down to a lake a mile down and hiking trails behind the house that lead deeper into the mountains.

The house was a three story house with a cellar door on the side, which meant it was technically four stories. The wood was stained a dark brown and the door was a matching color. There were two rectangular windows on each side of the door. There was a single curved glass bay window on the second floor above the front door, while the third story had two triangle shaped windows on the front of the house, one on the left above the first floor windows and the other above the right floor windows. Above the front door was a portico or an awning made of the same wood and stained the exact same, held up by two large logs of the same color. There four wooden steps led up to the front door. In front of the steps was a beige colored pavement that led to the right towards the garage which wasn't connected to the house. It didn't have a door either. It was just a large awning that supported four cars or two cars and a truck or two trucks. The drive way was also paved the same color as the walkway.

The car went underneath the awning of the garage and the trio of adults exited the car with their infant in tow. As they were leaving the awning, a large lightning bolt streaked across the sky, accompanied by a powerfully loud thunder which shook the awning.

"Get inside!" Juzo Hyoudou said. This was Issei's grandfather and Miki's father.

"Come on honey!" Gorou said, wrapping his arm around his wife and child, trying to rush to get the two of them into the house. The winds started to pick up as they were rushing to the house. The trees around them shook and groaned in pain, and the awning above the garage shuddered. Juzo opened the front door and ushered his family inside. When the couple entered, he shut the door and locked it. "Come on, we need to get to the cellar."

"Dad, is this normal?!" Miki asked hysterically, obviously worried over her child.

"No." He said quickly, opening up the door underneath the stairs, ushering them all inside. As soon as Miki entered the cellar, Gorou would follow but he never made it in time.

BOOM!

CRACK!

A loud explosion was heard outside the house and not even a second later, the house was struck by something. This object was none other than a person, a ten foot tall person, with blue skin and horns on his head. The eyes of this person was red and his lips were pulled back with a snarl as he stared out from the hole from which he came from. Gorou and Juzo were cut off from Miki due to the fact that the blue person came through the second floor, on top of the door that lead to the cellar, blocking it off with wood debris. Before the pair could even let out a scream for Miki or for their lives, an object flew into the house at three times the speed of sound, impacting the blue person directly. It was a massive hammer. When the hammer struck the person, two shockwave's appeared from the point of impact. The first one was from the impact itself. This shockwave traveled through Gorou and Juzo, as well as the house. None stood a chance. Juzo and Gorou were bisected at the waist, and the house came tumbling down on top of them. As if this wasn't enough, the second shockwave was made of pure electricity or lightning. This shockwave lit the house on fire, sending a massive inferno to engulf the house.

Underneath the rubble of the house, in pure darkness was Miki and Issei. Miki was clawing at the rubble above her, trying to free her and her son from the pitch black hole they were stuck in. Issei was on the ground behind her, crying and screaming for her mother as well as out of sheer terror from being unable to see.

"It's okay Issei. It's okay. I'll get us out of here, we'll go get your daddy and get out of here. You'll see." She said, tears streaming down her face….

She dug for two hours, removing pieces of wood one by one but she didn't realize that there had been a fire above her, let alone that the fire had burnt out all of its oxygen within the enclosed space of the rubble. She pulled down one large piece of wood, and the concentrated and super heated gasses finally found their fuel. The cellars oxygen. In one final act of cruelty, the fire hit Miki with the power of an inferno, immediately rendering her into charred body. The charred Miki was flung from the stairs and landed on top of Issei, shielding him from the brutal inferno that had taken his mother. The back draft's explosion also blew a sizable hole above, allowing a large amount of oxygen to pour into the cellar, which would help keep Issei alive, but it also kept the fire burning.

An hour went by and the poor infant had cried itself to sleep, buried in the arms of his dead mother. Another hour went by and a figure came down from the sky, landing gracefully on the snow covered ground in front of the charred and slightly burning remains that was once a beautiful wooden house. The woman in question was undeniably gorgeous. She had long black hair that stretched down to mid back. She had dark ocean blue eyes. She wore a blue-green dress that looked like silk, with a belt around her waist. The belt was intertwining branches and leaves. She wore two gold bracelets around her wrists and then two more around her forearms, as well as two gold bands around her upper arms. They were thin so they weren't armor, but they were pretty and also twisting branches and leaves.

"My damn son…" She muttered, looking over the damage. "No tact, no brains… just swings his hammer without any care of whats around him… now a family is dead." She said softly to herself, walking around to survey the damage. She was about to utter some more curses about her brutish son, but she heard a noise. A cry. Her ears perked to the sound and she dug away at the remains, not even caring about the fire that enveloped her hands. It wasn't painful, just irritating. She lifted a large amount of rubble out of the way and spotted a woman that was burnt to a crisp. She shook her head and frowned. "Am I hearing things?" She muttered again, only for the cry to be heard again, coming from the cellar. Stepping closer, the woman turned the woman over, only for her eyes to widen. A survivor! It was just an infant! A human infant! She quickly crouched down and her motherly instincts kicked into overdrive. She picked up the crying infant, immediately pulling him into her chest as she stood up.

"There there, shhh. Shhh. Don't cry now. You're okay… you're safe." She said, rocking the child as she paced the snow covered grounds outside the house, trying to soothe the child. A rather cold breeze raced through the mountains, not affecting her but she could see the child shivering, from the sudden cold. "I guess I'll be taking you with me." She said with a smile, giggling. "I have a new son..." She said with exuberance, before preparing to leave as she opened up a gateway in between two trees that were left standing. The gateway was a light blue and it shimmered as if it was an ocean. She was about to step into it, when she looked behind her. "Guess I should find out what they named you at the very least." She said to the child in her arms, before once more digging through the rubble. Three minutes later, she found the body of two men, one older and one middle aged, and decided to go through the younger ones pockets, finding a wallet. She opened it up and found several family pictures, and took one out to look at the back. It was, thankfully, marked with the names of the ones in it. "Gorou, Miki and Issei Hyoudou, Zushi beach, 20xx." She smiled softly. "Good to meet you young Issei… let's go home." She said, stepping into the portal which disappeared behind her.
