Chapter 71 Scavange for stuff
I don't own Kamen Rider Drive or Sekirei
Nobu goes outside his base and goes foward towards another warehouse. "Well let's check what he's doing."
Nobu went into Kira's Turbo Pit which was his version of the Drive Pit where Kira can have a space for himself and his stuff.
"Kira are you here?" Nobu questions.
"Yeah, I'm over here." Kira said from a desk where he was typing on a computer.
"What are you doing?" Nobu asks while walking over to him.
"Working on a couple of ideas." Kira said as he stops for a minute and stretches.
"What kind of ideas?" Nobu asks stopping next to Kira.
"First up is this." Kira said pulling up a blueprint of an idea that is based on the Shift Car Holder but meant for Signal Bikes.
"What is this?" Nobu asks.
"The Signal Bike Holder. Basically, it holds Signal Bikes for you and Chiho." Kira said.
"Interesting. I always wonder why Mach doesn't have something like that." Nobu said.
"Who knows. Next is something mostly for Chiho but can be used for others." Kira said pulling up another Blueprint on the computer. It is a Signal Bike based on a dual-purpose motorcycle and it is colored like Kaksarn Signal Bike but violet purple instead of blue. The symbol on the wheel is a shooting star.
"This is the Signal Star Signal Bike. Signal Star can increase the power, speed, and accuracy of a Rider's range weapon with the wheel on the Rider changes to have the Star Signal Bike symbol." Kira said.
"That is something that will come in handy." Nobu said with a nod.
"We'll need to get some materials so we can make them." Kira said frowning.
"And with Piecemeal and War out there plus Mikogami and Higa with their Sekirei it will be tough to gather materials." Nobu said as he was also frowning.
"However, we need to gather those materials so we can make them and plus other equipment. We'll have to be fast and get those materials before any of them can show up." Kira said.
"Also did you make the drivers I asked of you?" Nobu asked.
"They are almost done but I need to do a bit more finetuning before use." Kira said. "Which is another reason why we need more materials."
"Well what do you need?" Nobu asked.
"I made a list." Kira said pulling out a piece of paper and handing it to Nobu.
Nobu looks at it. "Damn it. Chase!" He goes to look for him.
"At least he didn't see this file." Kira said looking at the file Project Guardian. He shuts the computer off and follows Nobu.
Nobu and Kira locates Chase and took him to another area.
They went to a old storage facility from MBI.
"After MBI this place was left behind." Nobu Said
"Hopefully this place has what we need." Kira said before a thought came to him.
"Hey Nobu?" Kira asks.
"Yes." Nobu looks at him.
"Do you know if those labs left by the Vexos have anything interesting that was left behind?" Kira asks.
"Maybe, but we would have to leave the world for that." He said.
"Do both of us need to go or could I go alone since I can activate the slowdown if I need to?" Kira questions.
"Let's worry about that later. We need to do this for now." He said.
"Alright." Kira said. "Do we need flashlights?"
"This place has windows." Nobu said.
"What if there is a secret room or something and we need flashlights?" Kira said.
"One thing you should know about MBi, they tend to cut costs." Nobu Said.
"Seriously? That's dumb." Kira said in distaste.
"Blame it on they're leader, they had to pay for his excentric nature, so they had put security but they security is now gone." Nobu told him
"Their loss is our gain then." Kira said as they enter the storage and start looking.
They saw containers there and Chase breaks one open revealing scrap metal
"Scrap metal." Chase said.
"Good thing we brought both cars." Kira said.
"Check these containers well, there could be defeated Sekirei inside of them." Nobu told them.
"Would they seriously store them here?" Kira questions as he starts checking a container.
"Yes, they have many places, and they can't send so many at once to they're base, remember we found one inside a broken truck." Nobu Said.
"True. Do you think it's possible for a Sekirei to react to me?" Kira asks being curious.
"Maybe, but we would have to find some first and I must wake them up." Nobu Said.
"Right." Kira said. "I found some computer parts. High grade ones too."
"Good, I found some vehicle parts, it seems they were going to sell them." Nobu said.
"Hmm maybe we can make some more Ride Boosters or something else." Kira said in thought.
"Let's get the stuff first before we think of something, since we're targets if Piecemeal finds us." Nobu said.
"Right. Sorry. When the idea bug hits you its hard to ignore it." Kira said as he starts taking stuff to the Turbo Cyclone and Tridoron.
They started to pick up stuff before s containers breaks dropping a pod.
"A pod?" Kira questions. "Is there someone or something in there?"
"Yes, a Sekirei." Nobu said.
They went to check it out and opened it, Nobu got curious.
From the pod came Juusa.
"What?! She's here!" Nobu got surprised.
"You know her?" Kira asks.
"Wonder what happened to her to make her like this." Kira said.
"It must have been a battle gone wrong, either with the MBI grunts or by another Sekirei, either way let's take her." Nobu said.
"Should we revive her first? That way we have a pair of extra hands." Kira suggests.
"It's too dangerous, she can be hostile right away giving out our position." Nobu said.
"Good point." Kira said. "Do we take her out of the pod and put her in one of the cars then?"
"Yes, put her in the tridoron." Nobu said.
"Got it." Kira said as he picks her up gently and takes her to the Tridoron.
"At this point I even wonder if anybody from Mikogami and Higa are even they're sekirei." Nobu said.
"Who knows." Kira said coming back.
"Should we fight them, subdue the sekirei, I want to free the forced ones." Nobu said.
"Good thing we can use the Slowdown then. That will make things easier." Kira said as he checks another container and was surprised at what was in it.
"Some guns in this one." Kira said.
"Not surprising, this is the place where they dump the junk they don't need." Nobu said. "But we don't really need normal guns."
"Could melt them down for extra metal or maybe we can modify them into anti Roidmude weapons." Kira said shrugging his shoulders. "We need to use whatever we can get our hands on in the best possible way."
"You think we can modify ordinary guns into something that can harm the Roidmudes, that's something Krim couldn't do." Nobu said.
"True." Kira said as he starts grabbing them.
Nobu opens another one getting a ton of canned food. "Seriously?!"
"Canned food? At least we have some food. Plus, we can melt the cans down for material as well." Kira said.
"You really recicle that much." Nobu raises an eyebrow.
"I am a firm believer in using whatever resources you have to get the best results. Plus, we can't afford to be picky since Piecemeal is out there." Kira said.
Chase takes wires. "Need I remind you both we have a limited space on the cars."
"Right. We can come back later after getting what we can." Kira said.
"Well take the stuff and check for any Sekirei." Nobu said.
"We could fill out one car first and then one of us drives it back to base and while the other 2 fills out the second car while the first car comes back." Kira suggests.
"Theres just one problem." Nobu points to see the sun going down. "We can't risk it now, the sun goes down we're screwed."
"Crap. We'll have to come back another day. Maybe we make a Trailer of some kind before coming back." Kira said in thought.
"Let's speak about that later and check fast for any other sekirei." Nobu said.
They quickly start looking for other Sekirei.
"Found another pod." Chase drags it.
"Okay let's go back home and check it." Nobu said.
"Yeah." Kira agrees as he grabs the pod.
They went to the cars and drive off to get out the place.
Nobu looks at Kira through the window. "We can get the rest another time, the girls are more important."
"I know. I just hate leaving resources behind. I'm worried our enemies will grab them before we can come back and use them against us." Kira said.
"Though we did get some stuff at least plus those two Sekirei. Though will they be allies or enemies?" Kira questions with a frown.
"Don't worry, the others aren't stupid enough to come here, and War doesn't care about MBI, if what you say, they don't need the stuff." Nobu said.
"You might be right, but I don't like taking chances like this." Kira said.
"You two calm down, I closed the gates and locked them." Chase said.
"Good." Kira said but he was still worried since someone could bust down the gates.
"How about this, this whole thing has been going on for days and nobody was stupid enough to come. Mikogami and Higa only target other sekirei." Nobu said.
"True. I guess I should try to stop worrying about it." Kira said.
"Yeah, now we just focus on the future." Nobu said.
They kept going and Nobu looks at Juusa and wonders what happened to her, he remembers the times she attacked him and he had to fight her back.
"We have a lot to talk about."
Note: Nobu, Kira and Chase went to get more materials for they're future stuff, they found two Sekirei with the only one revealed being Juusa, to answer a review: "Guest 3802 I never seen that story before."
