Hedwig flew down and around the run-down shack, and she turned back into her proper form as she walked over to it.
She walked up to the check and flicked her finger as the snake fell to the floor, and the door opened.
She moved into the house before she started to look around and then looked down at the floorboards.
She put a hand on the floor as it aged rapidly until she found a ring.
"There you are," she said as she held the ring. She heard screams from around the ring before the screams vanished, and she nodded.
The woman turned back into her owl form, holding the ring in her claws, and flew to the one place where she knew Harry would have it given to him.
So she flew through the air, moving across the sky, finding where she wanted, and disappearing with a pop.
And she reappeared above the Gringotts banks as she turned into a shadow and flew into the building.
She moved from room to room until she appeared in the office of the head of the bank.
The Goblin looked at the owl in shock, having just witnessed it appear out of a shadow like nothing. "Yes," he asked her as the owl jumped off the desk and turned into the woman, the Goblin's skin becoming more pale. "Lady Death, what can I do for you? " he asked her.
"My new master is almost ready for me; he will get the cloak soon. He already has the wand, but he needs the stone, and that stone is the one to show the spirits but also the lord ring," Death said as she put the ring on the desk as the Goblin looked at it, "My master is Harry Potter, send this to him as he is the next Lord Peverell," She told the Goblin who nodded and started to write a letter as she watched him pick up the ring and put it in the letter before he snaped his fingers as another Goblin ran in.
"Yes director," The Goblin asked him.
"Send this letter to Harry Potter as an apology for missing to send something to him," He told them as they nodded and walked out; the bank director turned back to Death only to find her gone from his office as he let out a sigh.
"So Harry Potter is going to be the next Master of Death," the Goblin said as he looked down at his desk at the information that one of his curse breakers had given him. Then, to be on his good side, I shall look for them," he said as he stood up and walked out.
London, Islington, Grimmauld Place, Kitchen
Harry was in front of the stove cooking food to be ready for tomorrow; he was stirring gravy on the hob as he kept an eye on the oven.
Alex, Delphi, and Sirius watched from behind the breakfast bar as Harry cooked while Remus read a newspaper.
"What are you three doing," Bellatrix asked as she walked in.
"Harry has baked a cake and is waiting for it to be cooled, along with some cookies," Remus said as he turned the page. These three are trying to work out a way to get one while they are still warm," he told her as she looked over at him.
"Why not go and get one?" Bellatrix said as Kreature popped by the kitchen's entrance.
"Kreature has been told not to let anyone have a cookie until they have cooled down," he told her before disappearing with a pop.
"This is ridiculous," Sirius said as he stood up straight and got ready. "I am the lord of the Black family. I shall have a cookie if I want one," he said as he walked into the kitchen.
But after one step, he got a death glare from Harry, who glared so hard that it looked like he could set fire to the man who ran from the kitchen and crouched in the corner. "I'm sorry," he said as he looked into the kitchen.
"Wow," Bellatrix said as she held out her wand and tried to summon a cookie.
But as soon as the cookie was halfway, Harry seemingly teleported, took it out of the air, and put it back before returning to his cooking.
Bellatrix did not know what to say as her jaw did not want to work, "Sirius tried the same thing," Delphi said from where she stood.
But she followed Mike with her eyes as he approached the cookies.
Only for Ra to swoop down, pick him up, and hand him over to Delphi as Alex cursed. "None of that language now, young lady," Remus said as he lowered the paper to look at her. And if you must know, there is a way to get one, but you have to be smart about it," he said as his daughter turned to him and saw that he had a cookie in his hand.
"How did you," She asked him.
"Like I said, you have to be-hey," Remus said before Hedwig flew in, took the cookie from him, and put it with the others.
No one knew what to say as they looked at the smug looks on both Ra and Hedig. "We are being bested by birds," Bellatrix said, feeling a mix of awe and shame. The flu flared up, and Ted, Tonks, and Tonks's mother came out of it, with Tonks stumbling out of the fireplace, their faces a mix of wonder and disbelief.
"Your early," Remus said as he turned to the guests, and Tonks looked over them.
"What's happening?" she asked. When she was told, she walked into the kitchen.
When she touched a bowl Harry used to make mince pies, the contents burst into flames, and she jumped in shock. Harry turned around. "Out," he said to her as he started to spark with electricity, and she bolted out of the kitchen as fast as her legs could take her. "Remus, another is banned from my kitchen," He called out as the werewolf nodded and flicked his wand as a sign next to the kitchen gained the name 'Nymphadora Tonks' that was just below, 'Sirius Black'.
Tonk's mother looked shocked at what had happened. She turned to Sirius, saw him sulking in a corner, and turned to Remus. "What is happening, and why is Sirius like that? " she asked.
"I can answer the second part," Bellatrix said as she pointed to Harry. He has a look like his grandmother used to have, one that would make you think about the bad you have done and make you lose the will to argue with her," she told her sister.
"Oh, I remember that, I was on the other end of it once, and I think I felt that she held all the disapointment of a loving pearent on me that I begged forgiveness," She said as she looked to Harry as he sighed in relief at saving the filling before walking over to the fridge and pulled out a pastry and started to roll it out.
"Were trying to get a cookie," Delphi told her aunt.
The woman looked at everyone, and her husband started to laugh. She sighed and walked into the kitchen, looking at Harry. "Harry, may I have a cookie, please? " she asked him.
Harry looked up from rolling out the pastry. "Sure, I was waiting for someone to ask, and the only reason I glared at Sirius is because he is banned from the kitchen," he told her before returning to work.
She picked up the tray and walked out with it, smiling, as Bellatrix, Remus, and Sirius looked at her like she was a god. "How the hell did you do that?" Sirius asked her.
"Good manners for one thing, and the second, I don't want to be on the other end of the Potter clear, " she said as Sirius nodded.
Two Hours Later, First Foor, Sitting Room
Harry was sitting in the room reading a book, and Tonks sat next to him as she flipped through a magazine.
"So how has your break beed so far," Alex asked as she walked in.
"Been good, I've been helping my mum around the house finishing things up that needed doing," Tonks said as she looked over.
A pop sounded as the three turned to Kreature. "Master Harry, I have a letter for you from Wizarding Bank," he told Harry as he handed the letter over.
"Thank you, Kreature. Can we have some tea, please? " he asked the House Elf, who popped away to make it.
Harry looked at the letter and could feel something within it so he opened it and found a letter, bank documents, and a ring, "Dear Mr Potter. This letter informs you about another house you have come to own. And it has come to light that we made a misdeed, so we will repay you 4,009Ɠ, and we are sending you the ring of the house as you are the only heir to that hose and the list of the contents of the vault. The vault key will be sent to you the following week after Christmas. With regards Accountant Griphook," Harry read as he looked at the paper before he pulled out the ring.
It was a silver ring with a shank that looked like bird wings folded. Small bird heads were on either side of the stone in the middle, and two raven heads nestled a black rhombus.
Hidwig looked down as Harry put the ring on, feeling her connection to Harry grow stronger. "Soon, master, I shall be with you, and I can not wait for that moment," she thought as Harry pulled out the paperwork.
"I'll get Dad," Alex said as she walked out. After a few minutes, Remus and Sirius walked in, so Harry handed over the paperwork, and Kreature returned with cups of tea for them all.
"So he has a new vault," Sirius said as Remus looked over the sheets.
"So it seems, and from doing some quick maths, I think that he can only access the heir part of the Potter and Black families along with the heir of the Hogwarts houses," Remus said as he looked at the amount that Harry was given and how much he could access. He has around 190,000,000Ɠ that he can use at the moment. I could be more, but that is a small amount," he told them as Delphi looked at him.
"He the heir of Slytherin," She asked him as Bellatrix walked in when she asked that question.
"Yes and no," Sirius said as Delphi looked at him. The two of you are descendants of Salazar Slytherin, with Harry being from Evangeline Slytherin, the oldest child, but you are from Salazar Slytherin II. That, and while his older sister was on the run, he told the lordship, but she is the one who was the true lady of the house." He told her as she nodded.
"So what would that mean for me," Delphi asked him.
"I do not know," he told her as he sighed. You both have a claim for the title of Heir of Slytherin and Lord or Lady Slytherin one day, but this is up to what magic wants," Sirius told her as Delphi nodded at him.
Bellatrix did not know what to say as Delphi went over to a seat. "If it comes to it, I'll let Harry take the lordship and return the line to the rightful bloodline," she told the man.
"That's big of you, but you have six more years to decide what you want to do, so don't say anything right now," Remus said gently. She nodded at him with a smile of her own.
Wiltshire, Malfoy Manor, Leo's Room
Leo was at his desk, finishing his homework, when a knock came at the door. "Come in," he said as he put the finishing touches on it.
"Leonidas, we shall be departing for the Black family house shortly. Have your things ready for the three nights that we are there," Leo's mother said.
"My things are already gathered mother, I made sure they were ready by the time I got to the manor," Leo told her as he looked over the homework.
"I see. Do you not count this place as your home? " she asked him as Leo stopped what he was doing. You live here and eat here, but I have never heard you call this place your home in six years," his mother said as Leo turned to her.
"With that man living here, I will never call this place my home," Leo told her as she nodded.
"I see," the woman said as she turned to leave. I shall send an elf to get you when it is time to leave." She told him as she went and closed the door after herself. She walked down the corridor until she reached her husband's office. "Dear," she called out as she walked in.
"Yes my love," Lord Malfoy asked as he looked at her.
"Leonidas and I shall leave for the Black family house within the next hour," she told him as the man looked at her.
"Why must you go to this," He asked her.
"As I do not wish my sons to be banished from the Black family, I have managed to talk Sirius into keeping Draco within the family, but that is only if Leonidas and I show ourselves at this dinner and I speak with him there, and if I make a vow to never harm Harry Potter," she said as her husband scoffed.
"I see, and if you refeuse," He asked her.
"I will be given a choice: divorce you and leave the manor with Leonidas and live with Sirius and the others, or be banished, with only Leonidas being accepted into the Black family," she told him as the man nodded.
"I see," He muttered as he looked out the window, "If you brake your vow," He asked her.
"The second option along with me loseing magic or my life," She told him as he nodded at her.
Lord Malfoy turned to his wife. "Then make sure that you do not break your vow," he told her as she nodded. She walked out and checked that everything was together before she called an elf to get her son.
After a few minutes, Leo walked down with a trunk, and the woman said nothing. "You could ask an elf to do that," she told him as he held his trunk.
"Yes, but I would rather do it," he told her as she took his shoulder. The two disappeared with a pop, only to reaper within London. They spotted Remus waiting for them, so they walked over to him.
"It would have been better if you had told me the house name so that you would not have to pick us up, " the woman said as Remus rolled his eyes.
"And have you brought your husband and his friends?" Remus asked as Leo smiled at the werewolf. "And your Leo, the children have said a lot about you," he told the boy, who nodded.
"It's all good, I hope," Leo said as the three entered the car. Lady Malfoy got into the passenger side while Leo got into the back.
"Yes," Remus said as he started the car and drove. And just to let the two of you know, I'm going to have to stop and pick up something from Tesco, some things for dinner tomorrow, and I, for one, do not want to get a fireball tossed at me," he told them.
"Why would Harry toss a fireball at you," Leo asked the man.
"You'll see," he told the boy as he drove and pulled into a car park. "You two can come in with me to get something for yourselves if you want," Remus said as Leo got ready.
"I do not need anything, Leonidas. You may go if you wish," she told her son as Leo and Remus walked into the shop. After a quick five-minute wait, Remus and Leo walked out, and she saw the biggest smile she had ever seen on her son.
As they got back into the car, Remus turned to the woman. "Sorry about the wait," he said before driving off.
Leo's mother looked into the rearview and watched him examine the book he had bought.
It was called The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
When they pulled up, Remus started to lead them towards the house, and a pop sound was heard behind them.
When they opened a door, the three walked in as Sirius entered the hallway."Wellcome, Narcissa,. Yourold room is still yours,.Leo, your room is on the third floor across from Harry," He told them as they nodded. Why don't you find the others while I talk with your mother? Sirius told Leo, who nodded and walked around the house.
He walked into the dining room and found Alex and Delphi walking. "Hey, you two," he called out as he walked up and saw Harry in the kitchen. "Hey Harry," Leo called out as Harry turned with a smile.
"Hey Leo," Harry called back as he put the finishing touches on a cake.
"So is everything ready for tomorrow," He asked Harry as he sat with his cousins.
"Yep, all that needs cooking now is the turkey, but that can be done first thing tomorrow," Harry told him as Leo looked around the kitchen.
"Great," he said before pointing behind him. "Can you explain that?" Leo asked as Harry looked over to see a sulking Tonks in a corner.
"Oh, she voletiered to help me and she set fire to the make mix," Harry told him as he walked out of the kitchen.
"It was a spectacular sight," Alex said as Leo turned to her. She put the ingredients into the bowl, and when she put the spoon in the bowl, the content caught fire," she said as Leo looked shocked.
"How," Is all he asked.
"I don't know," Harry told him as he looked at Tonks.
Second Floor Sitting Room
Narcissa sat across from Sirius, who Andromeda and Remus flanked. "So just so I'm getting this right, you want me to keep your son Draco within the Black family, so much so that he can come and go from this house, even when it is hidden?" Sirius asked the woman, who nodded. "No," he told her as she narrowed her eyes.
"And why is they," Narcissa asked the man.
"Your husband and son, not Leo because he hates his father, worship the ground that the Dark Lord walks on and while he might have said the Imperius bullshit, I am not it; it's the same for Bellatrix," He told her as she looked at him, "And when the Dark Lord is dead I will be there when your husband is brought in, but that is neither here nor there at this time, so I will tell you now, that while I will not banish your son if I hear anything about him that Harry, Leo, Alex, or Delphi find disturbing or off or even if they say that he has said the slur that you and your husband love to say, he will be banished along with you," Sirius said as Narcissa looked shocked as did Andromeda and Remus.
"Sirius," Remus said, but the man held a hand up.
"No, this woman and her husband followed a mad man that got our brother in all but blood killed, and I am tempted to call a blood fude with Lucius, but I shall not for Harry's sake," Sirius said as Remus nodded as he looked down, "And I hate that slur, Lily was family to me, and if I hear from Harry, Alex, Delphi, or Leo that your son has said that word, you can kiss goodbye to the Black family," He told her as she became white as a sheet.
"Are you sure that we can not talk about this," Narcissa said as she looked at the head of the Black family.
"No," Sirius said as his eyes drilled into her. If you can not vow that your son can not speak that slur by next Christmas, then I shall think about being more lenient to you and your son," he told her.
"How long do I have to decide, you will have three days," Sirius told her as he stood up and walked away.
Andromeda and Remus followed him out, leaving the woman alone as Bellatrix walked in. " I heard everything," she told her sister.
Narcissa turned to her older sister, who was still recovering from the talk. "What should I do?" she asked.
Bellatrix sat down next to her as both sisters sat in silence, "I do not know, and Sirius is drawing his line; we have to make a choice, I am playing by the rules, and I have had to bite my tongue, and doing so I have watched two pieces of my lord die," She said as she looked at her sister, "And for you, you let your husband bring the Death Eaters into his home, and so we have no one that we can turn to, not even Lucius, as with Sirius, the lord of the family, he can banish us for no reason, so he is giving us either a shovel to dig our graves or a the shovel to help build a bridge," Bellatrix told her.
Narcissa nodded, "They don't use shobels to build briges," She told her.
"I now, but you get what I'm saying," Bellatrix rolled her eyes.
"I do," Narcissa said, and a knock came as Petuina entered.
"Lunch will be in five minuets," she said before she walked out.
"Wait," Narcissa called to her as the woman did. "Who are you? " she asked.
"I am, was, the older sister to Harry's mother," Petunia said as she turned to the woman. Narcissa's eyes widened. "And at this moment, I am trying to repent for what I did," she told the woman before she walked out.
Narcissa turned to Bellatrix, who told her about everything that had happened. Narcissa nodded, "I see," she said, casting a charm that cleaned herself up as both sisters stood up and went down.
When both sisters got to the dining room, they found they had never seen their children with such big smiles.
Bellatrix saw Delphi happily talking with Harry in the language of the serpents as the two set the table. The two magical snakes helped move things onto the table, like the bread or the salt and pepper.
She then saw that Alex was next to her father as they carried the pot, even though it looked like he was going to rush over, and started to pour into the bowls on the table.
Narcissa saw Leo helping her niece with food as the small team set the table while Sirius walked over.
"Come on, the food's going to get cold," he told the sisters as they followed him into the dining room.
"So Harry, I got another year, so that means there are only a few more," Narcissa heard her son. And other than that, I have seen that the rest of the year is smooth sailing," Leo told him.
"That's good, and let's hope they have a defence teacher by then," Alex said as she sat down.
"True, though I don't mind the headmaster teaching us, I kind of feel intimidated by him," Delphi said as Remus nodded.
"As you should, and for good reason," he told her as she looked at him. He is a master of spellwork and one of the greatest wizards and witches the world has known. "He is so powerful that it was said if he had turned dark, no one could beat him, with his knowledge of old and current spells," Remus told them.
"He's right, as I can only count on one hand the amount of people that have dulled him and got to walk away with their lives," Sirius told the children, who looked amazed.
The Next Day, Third Floor, Harry's Room
Harry woke up with Hedwig hooting at him. He opened his eyes and looked at her with a smile. "Merry Christmas," he said as he got out of bed, dressed, and went to the kitchen to cook the turkey.
He walked into the kitchen and put on his apron. Kreature popped into the kitchen, and Petuina was walking. "Veg, cut for the trivet; some veg also needs to be roasted and boiled," He said as the two nodded, and the three got to work.
Petuina started boiling some peas, Kreature began cutting vegetables for the trays, and Harry pulled out a large turkey.
Harry put the bird on one of the trays and rubbed in some herb butter as the others worked.
Ted walked into the kitchen and started to peel and cut potatoes, and the four worked as one.
Alex and Delphi were the next ones down. They watched the four cooks before nodding. They walked into the kitchen and started to help out, with Alex changing her fingers to claws to help Kreature cut up the vegetables.
Delphi helped Ted with the potatoes, "What type of potatoes are we making," She asked.
"Two types," Harry said as he put the bird in the oven. "Mash and roast," he told her as she nodded.
Leo and his mother were next down, with Remus behind them. The werewolf looked into the kitchen before he nodded, walked in, and started to help.
And while Narcissa watched, she looked surprised that once her son had his morning cup of tea, he joined in on the cooking.
After a few more minutes, the last four walked down, and Andromeda came in to help as everyone in the kitchen got the food ready for dinner.
"I think I'll-," Sirius said before he saw the look that Harry sent him, "I'll make sure all the presents are ready," He said before walking away.
Narcissa and Bellatrix looked at him as Tonks sat at the breakfast bar and watched everyone, but both women saw that the girl's eyes moved to Harry often.
Persephone slithered over to the pink-haired girl as Tonks stroked her scales. As the two matched, the albino snake master led the people in the kitchen like a pro chef.
Once everyone was done in the kitchen, as they waited for the turkey to cook, they moved to the large, where they started to exchange presents; Harry got from Sirius a book of pitchers of his mother and father, and Remus gave him a book on magical animals, Alex and Delphi gave him two stuffed animals, with Delphi a stuffed white snake that looked like Persephone, and Alex, a stuffed purple dragon.
Others got presents, with Narcissa getting a pair of earrings from Delphi with emeralds, Leo getting a book of pranks from Sirius, and Alex getting two presents from Tonks. The first was a joking present: a dog comb and the other was a book called Devil in a Blue Dress.
And then all that was left was one present named Harry. "Dear Harry, this belonged to your father and his father before him; it is passed down from father to son when their son reaches a certain age. I hope you use it well. APWBD," he said as he read the letters, and the adults looked confused.
He then unwrapped it to find a cloak and put it on his shoulders as he disappeared. "Your Dad has an invisibility cloak, and he never told me," Sirius said with his jaw wide.
"There was a reason for that, Padfoot," A voice sounded behind him as everyone saw two translucent figures standing there.
But Harry knew them. "Mom," he asked the woman, who nodded at him as he looked at the man. "Dad," he said as they walked over.
"Hello Harry," Lily told her son.
Albania
Voldemort was now in a new snake form as he moved across the country. "How could I be reduced to this form? A mear cowered, and it seemed that I had lost three of my Horcruxes. I have to make sure that the other three are safe," he thought to himself as he slithered.
Not knowing that Hegwig was above him in the trees, she felt the bond to her master grow to its full power, "Run creature I will embrase you when the time is right as I have done to your pieces, and I soon shall have you as well, but time is key," She thought as she followed him before she grew board as she flew back to her master as she felt that he had summoned his mother and father.
She teleported herself back to her master as she looked down as he talked to Lily Potter and the shocked look on everyone's face as she moved into the shadows.
It was time to let her master know of her.
When Narcissa looked at Lily and opened her mouth, a chill crept up onto everyone, and a figure formed from behind Harry.
It was a woman with very pale skin, practically white, dressed in a full-body cloak and a hood that covered her face. Long black hair flowed out of it.
And what shocked Harry was her eyes as she looked at him with a smile as Harry stood up.
Everyone did not know what to say as they looked at her, "Hedwig," Harry asked her.
"Hello Master," Death told him with a gentle smile.
