Midoriya Apartment

Musutafu, Japan

"Well, this is gonna be a problem."

Izuku scrolls down every available website he could think of that offers part-time jobs while wiping off the sweat on his head. It's been two days since he got discharged from the hospital and he has been busy.

He continues to finish his daily quest every morning while even visiting Dagobah Beach to clean up the piles of mess. Izuku never bothers to think about the piles of trash because people rarely talk about it. It took him to look at it himself and knows how much of a mess it was.

Izuku was disgusted at the people in society and himself. How did everyone think that this is okay to leave it alone!? And why didn't he notice it sooner!? So, he decided to clean up the mess, whether he did it himself or random strangers decided to help. But from his experiences, it is unlikely.

He was also uncomfortable about his current situation. Because the system forcefully gave him a growth spurt, his mom decided that she would buy him new clothes. Izuku refuses and decides to wear Hisashi's old clothes, much to his dismay.

He hates the man, as much as he hates Bakugou. But if it's for his mom, he'll at least endure it until their finance become stable. Izuku also helps the neighbors with the odd jobs, and for some reason, they seem to welcome him more than usual and even pay money for every odd job he finishes.

Izuku was conflicted between paying his mom's debt and the neighbor overpaid him, so he simply asked for less money from them. He wants to refuse but they won't stop insisting that he should take it. It was a struggle between his current priorities and his kind heart.

"I need money to pay the debt, but there's no way I'll take advantage of anyone. Unlike those bastards..." Inko told him that the guy lets her borrow money from them to pay the hospital bills, using all the sweet words and fake sympathy to emotionally break her and make her desperate.

To make it worse, it was all for naught as the HPSC has covered the hospital bills before Inko could even pay for it! Well, it's Mera and Hawks who did, not the HPSC. So, Inko lent the money for nothing.

And to Izuku's frustration, when his mom tries to return the money, the man charges her 3 TIMES the amount! And the contract Inko signed made it legal, so she has no choice but to agree.

"Damn that bastard..." Izuku grits his teeth in frustration. "They know that we can't pay the money at that such short amount of time, so we'll remain in debt and the interrst rate..." Izuku slams his fist on the table beforr he got a message on his phone.

[ForeShadow0102]

[ That's a lot of All Might Limited Edition Merch you display on the online auction.]

[ Are you truly sure wanting to sell them?]

Izuku winced before sighing in annoyance. If the situation isn't desperate, he wouldn't even dare to sell it. But, desperate time comes for desperate measures.

Then again, he also thinks that the amount of All Might merch he has is just plain unhealthy. He never realizes how obsessed he is with All Might until Bakugou shatters his rose-tinted glasses.

He wanted to be a hero because of All Might's kindness, but he never saw the unintentional effect his influences had on society. One of them is creating people like Bakugou, who thinks a hero is all about beating villains and winning.

He still likes All Might and other heroes, just that he no longer views everything unrealistically.

[SmallMight09]

[ Yes]

Izuku cringed as he looked at his username. Yeah...his obsession is super unhealthy.

[A/N: Huh? What's 'Izuku-sells-his-All-Might-merch-because-he-hates-All-Might' tropes? Never heard of it.]

[ForeSight0102]

[ I'm buying all of them]

Izuku blinked. He never expects there's someone else who's obsessed with All Might's merch like him and Bakugou.

[SmallMight09]

[ You sure? It's a lot]

[ForeSight0102]

[ Yes]

Welp, money successfully earned.

Osaka, Japan

Izuku grunts as he walks out of the train while carrying 5 large carton boxes. It took him quite a time just to get into the train station while carrying large boxes.

"I'm so glad that I invest my stats in balance or else I might be in trouble..." Izuku grunts as he sidesteps away from an incoming person walking by. Izuku also notices a lot of people staring at Izuku weirdly, causing him to flush lightly.

'Gimme a break, people! Stop staring and mind your business! I have no means of transportation besides that crowded train!' Izuku thought as he placed the boxes on a bench gently and looked at the location shared by the buyer. It was a few blocks away from the train station, something that put Izuku at ease.

"Come on...let's just get this pile of stuff to the buyer." Izuku lifts the box again and walks away. It took a few minutes, but Izuku arrived at the location. As he looks at the building, he gapes.

"Wait, is this even the right place?" Izuku said as he lifts the box with one arm and opens his phone with another arm comically, causing everyone to gape at him. "Yeah, this is correct...but why did the buyer ask-!?"

Izuku widen his eyes before facepalming. ForeSight...0102...

"Who are you?" Izuku turns to see a man with dark green/yellow hair and yellow eyes wearing a grey three-piece suit, a red tie, a pair of glasses, and leather shoes.

"Um...ForeSight0102? The one who buys all the All Might Merch?" Izuku asked as the man raised his eyebrow. Izuku knows who the man is, as he's a famous person. Sir Nighteye, All Might's former sidekick.

'I wasn't expecting Sir Nighteye to remain as an All Might fan, given that they split up and refuse to talk about each other in an interview.' Izuku sweatdrops.

"You're...SmallMight09?" Izuku cringed as his cheeks turned light pink.

"I tried to change the name...but with zero success." Izuku's face turned brighter red as Sir Nighteye snorted.

"Come on, we'll continue in my agency." Izuku nodded as they both entered the building. Izuku can't help but be a bit excited to see two sidekicks he is familiar with, a blue-haired and skinned girl named Bubble Girl, and a human with a centipide head named Centipider.

Sir Nighteye lets Izuku enter the office and Izuku can't help but sweatdrop. He expects a professional office room, not an All Might-themed office. He gently placed down the boxes as Sir Nighteye started to check the items.

"I'm surprised at how well-maintained they are." Sir Nighteye said, impressed at the items.

"Yeah...I never had the balls to ruin it, given how much obsessed I was back then." Izuku said sheepishly.

"You're no longer a fan of All Might?" Sir Nighteye asked.

"I'm still a fan, just not as obsessed as my early days." Izuku said before frowning. "And I no longer see him in rose-tinted glasses."

"May I ask what you mean by that?" Sir Nighteye was on edge at Izuku's answers.

"All Might did a lot of good things, but it's a double-edged sword. People only see All Might for his feats and strengths, which creates people who believe strong quirks are everything." Izuku said as Sir Nighteye frowned.

"Don't you think it's a bit much?" Sir Nighteye said. "Those sound a bit harsh. All Might has done a lot of good."

"You're right that he did. But I can't fully agree with you, Sir Nighteye. You see, I was quirkless. I was one such victim in a society filled with people who think quirks are everything. You can try to investigate Aldera if you like to know more." Izuku replied as Sir Nighteye widened his eyes in shock before his face softened.

"I see..." Sir said before looking at all the merchandise. "This...might take a while."

"Hehehe..." Izuku chuckles sheepishly while rubbing his head.

Later

"This much money..." Izuku mutters as he looks at the suitcase full of yens. It wasn't enough to pay the whole debt, but now, he just needs less than half the amount to fully pay the debt.

"You keep them in good condition, with zero scratches or dents and little to no dust. I have to pay as much as how much you put effort to maintain their quality." Nighteye said as Izuku gapes.

"I...um, thanks." Izuku said as Nighteye nodded.

"May I ask, what do you plan to do next?" Izuku rubs his chin.

"Well, a lot of things. But my final goal is something I've been dreaming of since I was a kid, a hero." Izuku admits. "I still have a few personal things I have to do, but my end goal is always the same."

"Then, I wish you luck, Small Might." Izuku blushes as he groans.

"Please just call me Izuku or Midoriya," Izuku begged as Sir gave him an amused smile.

"Nope." Izuku deadpan before they shook hands and left. If Izuku stayed for a while, he would see Sir Nighteye collapse into the ground while holding his head in pain.

Sir Nighteye never saw something like this. He's in a room filled with nothing but eternal darkness. Suddenly, a pair of purple orbs appear causing Sir Nighteye to turn pale and snap out of his vision, panting heavily as his eyes keep flickering between purple and yellow. As this happens, he utters one word.

"...M-Monarch..."

Izuku continues to walk on the street, frowning as he places the suitcase into his inventory. He needs to find a way to earn more money. That debt collector is crazily irrational, but with that 'legal' contract, he can't do much.

As he walks, he notices a guy posting a poster on the wall before walking away. As the guy passes him, his enhanced senses allow him to see a tattoo on his neck, a red lizard with a sliced tail. Izuku frowns before looking at the poster.

[Required!]

[A guy with enough raw power to clear an abandoned building!]

[Contact: XXX-XXXX-XXXX]

[Meet: XXXX, XXXXX XXXXXXX, Chiba Prefecture]

[Payment amount: 1.5 million yen]

[Time: 19 April 2XXX]

Izuku frowns at how suspicious the poster is. Anyone who saw this is either desperate, a scam, or they found a jackpot that allow them to get so much money to the point that 1.5 million yen is not much for them.

Izuku wanted to call out that farce, but that mark on the figure's shoulder made Izuku wary. He doesn't know why, but something bad will happen if he didn't come tomorrow.

And the amount of money is tempting since it'll be enough to pay off the debt.

"...Imma regret this..." Izuku mutters before typing down the number and contacted the number. "Hello?"
