A little taste of Regret
Things in Adventure Bay were not always perfect but thing were especially messy right now.
Austin was with Mayor Humdinger,
Austin: tell me again what is it you are doing?
Mayor Humdinger: creating a cloning device
Austin: how is that going to help us again?
Mayor Humdinger: it will allow us to create an army of small ultima wolves. We can have them under our control.
Austin: how would we control them?
Mayor Humdinger: ugh we get the little wolf to bite them and they will do whatever we say… trust me
Austin: I am trying too but like I need this to work, stealing that baby is not going to be easy
Mayor Humdinger: it will with this
Austin: and that is?
Mayor Humdinger: Wolfsbane it will knock Chase and Skye right out, we will wait for them at their cave. Then boom it lights out and we take the little guy, clone him and have him create our army and give him back.
Austin: wait wait we are going to give him back?
Mayor Humdinger: well I won't need him afterwards you do whatever you want.
Austin thought about it and he knew what he wanted he wanted to become powerful. He knew Chase would never change him so he was going to use his son to do it.
Things were set in motion all they needed was to wait for the full moon it would make it easier. Plus they knew that Kylo could not turn into a wolf until Chase did and only on a full moon.
Meanwhile, Rocky was trying to figure out a way to help is brother,
Charlie: I can't believe I did this
Rocky: did you get any sleep?
Charlie: Rocky I killed someone how the fuck am I supposed to sleep!
Rocky: we don't know that you did anything
Charlie: we were the only ones there it had to have been me
Rocky: just breath Charlie I will figure this out
Charlie: I am going to go to prison again I can't Rocky I just can't
Leah: call Chase he will be able to help
Charlie: what no don't please he will arrest me
Rocky: he won't dude relax
Charlie: I am so screwed
Rocky: are you sure she was even dead?
Charlie: well she wasn't moving, I don't know I panicked
Leah: let's just take a few deep breaths and look into this
Rocky: I am not seeing anything about someone dying
Charlie: what do you mean?
Rocky: if someone died last night it would be all over the news but there is nothing, I am not sure anyone is dead
Charlie: or they are waiting to catch the killer and announce it all at once
Leah: Chase is coming
Charlie: what why?
Rocky: he can help okay just calm down and breathe
A few minutes later Chase arrived and Rocky explained everything,
Chase: so you think you killed her?
Charlie: I am pretty sure I mean I don't know
Chase: okay hold on
Rocky: what are you doing
Chase: looking in the police database if 911 was called it would answers
Rocky: right that is smart
Chase: here, paramedics were called, and a few officers. The girl was taken to the hospital
Charlie: but is she dead?
Chase: it doesn't say but I can check, give me 20 minutes, plus I will go check the security footage
Rocky: thanks Chase
Chase: don't thank me yet
Charlie: right because if she is dead and the cameras do show me doing this I am going to jail right?
Chase: we will cross that bridge when we get there
Charlie: I knew it
Rocky: calm down dude seriously
Chase left he went to get more information while Charlie continued to freak out
Charlie: there was so much I wanted to do! I will never see Gasket again, or watch this little dude grow up
Leah: you will always be a part of Cam's life,
Charlie: not if I am in jail for life for murdering someone
Rocky: would you stop already! My god you are driving me nuts
Leah: he is scared Rocky give him a break
Charlie: I am going to go and shower wash away the guilt
Rocky: yeah like that will help
Leah: ROCKY!
Charlie walked away he was really feeling it and he has had depression before.
Rocky: Leah, I am worried
Leah: why?
Rocky: he is taking this way to hard and he doesn't even know anything yet
Leah: he is scared
Rocky: he is also depressed I um will be right back
Rocky went downstairs to Charlie's room he was holding a razor
Rocky: Charlie no
Charlie: I have to man I can't go back to jail
Rocky: you don't know anything and this will definitely keep you out of Cam's life, please Charlie put it down
Charlie: I um such a mess Rocky
Rocky: I get it man I do, Dad screwed me up for life and I tried to kill myself so many times and it is just not worth it. Leah and I are here, and Gasket she really cares for you, please man just don't
Charlie: Rocky I
Charlie fell to his knees and Rocky helped him he hugged him he needed his brother to know that no matter what he was there.
Rocky was able too get him back upstairs, and Chase came back, Charlie sat motionless on the couch.
Chase: is he okay?
Rocky: no what did you find out?
Chase: no one died, she was just super drunk and high and she passed out, she did hit her head and has a major concussion but she is alive
Rocky: see dude!
Chase: however I did watch the surveillance footage
Rocky: is it bad?
Chase: this whole party was bad, Charlie do you know who brought the drugs?
Charlie: what?
Chase: the drugs? Where did they come from
Charlie: I don't know
Chase: okay well, the footage shows you handing it out
Charlie: what?
Chase: you were selling drugs to everyone at this party
Charlie: I do not sell drugs
Chase: do you have money? Like more than you should
Charlie: no
Rocky: checked the jacket he was wearing but there was nothing
Charlie: I mean someone could totally be setting me up
Chase: okay well, just stay out of trouble please, no more parties, and next time a girl hits on you maybe don't push her so hard
Charlie: so I did push her
Chase: yes but she doesn't remember anything she was super high so just be careful
Charlie: you are not arresting me
Chase: no you did nothing wrong, but Charlie if I find out you are selling drugs I will arres you
Charlie: noted and thank you Chase
Chase nodded as he left, he went to help Skye with Kylo he was getting cranky again as the full moon was getting closer.
Rocky: I told you man, nothing to worry about
Charlie: I was not selling drugs by the way
Rocky: whatever I don't care, I mean you are off the hook just forget about it
Leah: I do recommend maybe not going to parties for a bit though
Charlie: yeah
Charlie played with Cameron while Rocky worked and Leah went to take a nap.
Kol and Zuma were trying to get to know Kelly as a sister, Kol more so than Zuma he was still not for it.
Kol: why not just give her a chance, she is cool
Zuma: I just feel differently about it Kol, she moved here originally to date me and I just I am not sure yet
Kol: whatever dude you are being a dick to her
Zuma: mind your own fucking business
Kol: man I would be better off living with her
Zuma: go for it
Kol: really?
Zuma: Kol do whatever you want but don't come crying to me when she doesn't want you
Kol: she will
Zuma rolled his eyes no way was this girl going to take him, he was a 16 year old teenager with major issues.
Back in Foggy Bottom,
Mayor Humdinger: it is done I am a genius
Austin: or an idiot
Mayor Humdinger: no one asked you to stay here go home to your family
Austin: I can't I will give it away, plus they think I am away on business
Mayor Humdinger: in 3 days we can do this,
Austin: okay and what are we doing again?
Mayor Humdinger: and you call me the idiot
Mayor Humdinger explained his plan of creating a Ultima wolf army and setting the lose on the town. He had no idea that Kylo was not fully Ultima, and that his bite was not powerful enough.
Skye was with Chase,
Skye: is it just me or do full moons seem to come faster?
Chase: they come faster,
Skye: okay are we going to our cave,
Chase: Our cave?
Skye: you know what I mean
Chase: yes love, it will keep him safe
Skye: Xayah is okay with not watching him?
Chase: she will come by in the morning so we can sleep for a bit
Skye: good call, I mean I know when he is a wolf I won't be sleeping
Chase: he is harmless right now but its when he gets older that worries me.
Skye: he will be fine
Chase: until he bites someone and we have an issue on our hands
Skye: do you really think he will be able to turn others like you
Chase: not exactly like me,, but his bite will affect others more so than say yours
Skye: like how?
Chase: I am not sure I am looking into it with Wild, his bite will never be as strong as mine. He is only half Ultima remember that, he is part you as well, so his bite might make someone sick or confused but I am not sure it will actually turn someone
Skye: that is a good thing then
Chase: until he kills someone,
Skye: he wouldn't do that would you Kylo no you will be good
Chase: for now he is just a baby but when he gets older he will be harder to control I am sure
Skye: we can teach him not to be,
Chase: I guess so, come on we should get going the moon is almost up
Skye grabbed Kylo and they headed to their hideaway cave, they had no idea they were being watched and this was going to get bad.
Skye: lets shift?
Chase: yes
Skye shifted first and the Chase as he watched his pup shift too, Skye and Chase both nuzzled him.
Before anything else could happen they were shot with Wolfsbane darts and knocked out, Austin grabbed Kylo and he cried he was not happy.
Austin: shut him up
Mayor Humdinger: I do not want to kill him I am not sure how wolfsbane will affect him
They made it back to Mayor Humdinger's lair and his kitties hissed at the puppy, they did not like him at all.
Kylo was put into the machine and Mayor Humdinger made copies of him,
Austin: I am honestly surprised that worked
Mayor Humdinger: now to get his bite
They forced Kylo to bite all the clones and he was crying he was hurting and he missed his parents. He might still be a baby but he knew this was not normal, he reacted and bit Austin.
Austin: fucking thing bit me
Mayor Humdinger: better hope it wasn't to hard or you could become a wolf
Austin: hmm maybe I could kill Chase then
Mayor Humdinger: doubtful he will rip you clean in half
Kylo continued to whine, in the meantime Chase woke up and licked Skye, she immediately panicked.
Chase indicated for her to follow him, he could smell Mayor Humdinger he knew exactly who did this. He could smell Austin too and he was pissed,
Mayor Humdinger: I can't believe this worked, get rid of the pup we don't need him anymore
Austin: ugh my head!
Mayor Humdinger: useless
Mayor Humdinger took Kylo out of his lair and put him on a hill where he sat and cried.
Skye found him and she hugged him tight, Chase made sure he wasn't hurt before he went after the 2 men.
The sun was coming up, Skye shifted,
Skye: Chase wait
Chase turned to look at her,
Skye: let's take him home first, he is scared and I need you
Chase agreed he knew they were not going anywhere and he was going to get his revenge on them.
