Wedgehurst and Isle of Armor

As Lincoln and the others exit the Motostoke Pokemon Center, Lola grabs Lincoln's arm.

"Linky." said Lola.

"Yeah, Lola?" asked Lincoln. Lola raises up her right arm where her Dynamax Band is.

"Tell me how to work this thing." said Lola.

"How about I show you in a Pokemon Den. It would be easier to explain there." said Lincoln.

"Okay then, let's go." said Lola. After climbing down the stairs from Motostoke City, Lincoln looks around for an active Pokemon Den, he sees one in Rolling Fields.

"There's one." said Lincoln, pointing at it. Lola looks at where Lincoln is pointing.

"The one with the light coming out of it?" asked Lola.

"Yep." replied Lincoln. Lola grabs Lincoln by the wrist.

"Let's go then." said Lola, running to where the den is while dragging Lincoln along.

"Wait for us." said Clyde as he, Leni, Luna, Lucy, and Lana run after them. A minute later, they arrived at the den.

"Okay. Now what?" asked Lola.

"Just climb into it." replied Lincoln. "Since this is your first den battle, we'll go in with you to back you up."

"All right then. Let's go." said Lola. She and the others climb onto the den. Once inside, they look around to see a giant fly-like Pokemon with a pale yellow and white body, large eyes with pixel like spots on them, four spindly legs with round feet, and a pair of large wings. Lola gasps with glee. "IT'S SO CUTE! What is that?" She takes out her Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.

"Cutiefly, the Bee Fly Pokemon. Nectar and Pollen are its favorite fare. You can find Cutiefly hovering over Gossifleur, trying to get some of Gossifleur's pollen." said the Rotom Phone. Lola's Dynamax Band turns on.

"Okay. Now what?" asked Lola.

"First, bring out a Pokemon. I suggest using Minccino because Cherubi would be at a disadvantage because Cutiefly is part bug-type." said Lincoln.

"Okay, Linky. Come on out, Minccino." said Lola as she releases Minncino from her pokeball. "Now what?"

"Return her to her pokeball and the Dynamax Band will make the pokeball, along with Minncino larger. After that, throw the pokeball." explained Lincoln. Lola does so and she dynamaxes Minccino.

"Wow. Minccino is so big now." sald Lola. Lincoln brings out his Raboot, Lana brings out Croagunk, Lucy brings out Gastly, Clyde brings out Wooper, Luna brings out Toxel, and Leni brings out Vulpix.

"Okay, Lola. Dynamax Pokemon only use Max Moves. The only one Minncino has is called Max Strike. Have her use it on Cutiefly." said Lincoln.

"Okay, Linky. Minncino, use Max Strike!" says Lola. Minncino summons up a geyser of energy from beneath Cutiefly which damages it.

"Let's help Lola out, guys. Raboot, use Flame Charge." said Lincoln.

"Toxel, use Acid." said Luna.

"Croagunk, use Poison Sting." said Lana.

"Wooper, use Water Gun." said Clyde.

"Gastly, use Lick." said Lucy.

"Vulpix, use Incinerate." said Leni. All their Pokemon hit Cutiefly with their attacks with some of them doing super-effective damage. Cutiefly's energy suddenly explodes, freezing it in place.

"Okay, Lola. Cutiefly is stunned so now's your chance to catch it. Just hold an empty pokeball in your hands and your Dynamax Band will make it grow; then just throw it at Cutiefly to capture it." said Lincoln. Lola does what Lincoln says and makes her Heal Ball grow. She then throws it at Cutiefly, which then sucks it in and falls to the ground. After the pokeball shakes a few times, it shrinks and clicks, indicating a successful capture. Lola runs over to the pokeball and picks it up.

"Oh, yeah. I caught a Cutiefly." said Lola. After leaving the den, Lola takes out her Rotom Phone to learn more about her new Cutiefly. "Okay. My Cutiefly is a girl, she knows Absorb, Fairy Wind, Stun Spore, and Sweet Scent. She also has the ability, Shield Dust, which cancels out secondary effects of attacks." She also picks up some berries, a Big Mushroom, and a Dazzling Gleam TR. "Why did I get some mushroom? Why didn't I get a pearl or gold nugget?" asked Lola.

"I think certain Pokemon Dens produce certain items." said Lincoln.

"But you can still sell that Big Mushroom for 2,500 pokedollars." said Lana. Lola's eyes lit up with delight.

"OOOH! That sounds like a lot." said Lola as she pockets the Big Mushroom.

"So what now?" asked Luna.

"Let's go to Wedgehurst so we can see about getting the rest of you guys some PokeTranslators. Then we can stop by the train station to see about that Pokemon that nurse told us about." said Lincoln.

"Good idea. I really want to understand what my Pokemon are saying." said Clyde.

"Should we take the train there or use the Flying Taxis?" asked Lucy.

"Let's try the Flying Taxis. We can take it directly to Professor Magnolia's house." said Lincoln. They pull out the cards the staff member at Motostoke Stadium gave them and called the number that was on them. A minute later, several large, black, metallic bird-like Pokemon flew down from the sky, each of them carrying a small booth with a cushioned seat inside them. Lincoln pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at one of the Pokemon.

"Corviknight, the Raven Pokemon, and the final evolution of Rookidee. This Pokemon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar Region. The black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the heart of any foe." said the pokedex. Lincoln noticed that on top of each Corviknight was a person wearing a pilot outfit.

"You kids called for Flying Taxis?" asked one of the pilots.

"Yes sir." said Lincoln.

"Climb in and we'll take you where you need to go." said the pilot. After getting over their surprise, each kid got into one of the booths. Once inside, LIncoln told them where they wanted to go. Soon, the Corviknights flew off with the Louds and Clyde and headed towards Wedgehurst.

"This is so cool." said Clyde.

"And I love the cushioned seat." said Lola.

"This beats waiting in lines at airports, that's for sure." said Luna. A few minutes later, they all land outside Professor Magnolia's house. The Louds and Clyde exit the booths and thank the pilots for bringing them there. Soon after, the Corviknights took off and flew away.

"Well, guys. Here we are. Professor Magnolia's house." said Lincoln. Just then, the front door opens and Professor Magnolia steps out.

"What is all the noise out here?" asked Professor Magnolia.

"Hi, Professor Magnolia." said Lincoln. Professor Magnolia looks towards him.

"Why, hello Lincoln." said Professor Magnolia.

"It's good to see you." said Lincoln.

"It's nice to see you again, dearie. I saw you on TV at the Gym Challenge Opening Ceremony. You seem to be doing well." said Professor Magnolia. She looks behind Lincoln and sees his sisters and Clyde looking at her. "Who are these people?" she asked Lincoln.

"Oh, let me introduce you. The girls are some of my sisters from Royal Woods; Leni, Luna, Lucy, Lola, and Lana. And the boy is my best friend, Clyde McBride." said Lincoln.

"It's very nice to meet you kids." said Professor Magnolia.

"It's rad to meet you also." said Luna.

"Thanks for taking care of Linky when he was here." said Lana.

"You are quite welcome. He was a delight to have around." said Professor Magnolia. "So what brings you here, Lincoln?"

"We heard something about a rare Pokemon that's supposed to be at Wedgehurst Station right now. But also we were wondering if you had any extra PokeTranslators." said Lincoln.

"You're in luck. Ever since you successfully tested them, I decided to start making more of them and I happen to have several completed sets of them." said Professor Magnolia. She turns and enters her house; a minute later, she comes out with six small boxes. She then hands Leni, Luna, Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Clyde each one. They open them to see a set of PokeTranslators in each box. After LIncoln explained to them how they work, they all stick them into their ears and turn them on.

"I can't wait to try these out." said Lana. Professor Magnolia smiles in response. She then notices the Dynamax Bands on the sisters' and Clyde's wrists.

"Where did you kids get your Dynamax Bands?" asked Professor Magnolia. Lincoln explained how they all got Wishing Stars and how someone from Macros Cosmos made each of them a Dynamax Band. "I'm amazed that you kids were able to summon Wishing Stars so easily."

"I know." said Lincoln. "So anyway, it was nice seeing you again Professor."

"It was nice seeing you too, Lincoln." said Professor Magnolia. They soon say their goodbyes and they headed off towards Wedgehurst. A minute later, they reach the town and head for the train station. When they got there, they enter and look around. They saw a train conductor, standing near him was a woman with pink hair, a butterfly-shaped bow in her hair, a furry, white jacket over what appeared to be a dark-purple uniform with a green slime design on it with matching leggings, and white shoes. She was also wearing a Dynamax Band.

"The train to the Isle of Armor has just arrived." said the conductor. "Those with an Armor Pass please board the train. The woman walks over to the conductor. "Do you have an Armor Pass?" the conductor asked the woman.

"Of course. I totally have one!" said the woman.

"Please allow me to check your pass." said the conductor. As the woman hands the conductor her pass, a pink Pokemon that looked like a hippo with a salamander tail with yellow coloration on its head and tail walked out of the train.

"What's that Pokemon?" asked Clyde. The woman also sees the Pokemon.

"Oh! A Slowpoke!" said the woman.

"Uh-oh, looks like another one's gotten on the train and ridden over from the Isle of Armor." said the conductor.

"Isle of Armor?" asked Lincoln.

"The Isle of Armor is an island just off the coast of Galar." said the conductor. "There's Pokemon there that can't be found here in the mainland."

"Cool." said Lana.

"There's a lot of Slowpoke living on the Isle of Armor. Not sure if they feel like traveling or not, but sometimes a few board the train." said the conductor.

"Is this the first time you've seen a Galarian Slowpoke?" asked the woman.

"This is my first time seeing one in general." replied Lincoln.

"The coloring on top of its head is curly-like. Isn't it superduper cute?" asked the woman. Clyde approached the Slowpoke.

"Are you a Pokemon trainer?" the conductor asked Clyde.

"Yes." replied Clyde.

"If Slowpokes block the ticket gate, it'll cause trouble for other customers." said the conductor. "Slowpoke are actually pretty heavy. Do you think you can catch it for me."

"No problem." replied Clyde. The Slowpoke turns toward Clyde. Clyde pulls a pokeball out of his pocket. "Purrloin, let's go." He throws the pokeball and releases Purrloin. "Purrloin, use Fake Out." Purrloin claps her paws together, releasing a shockwave that hits Slowpoke, causing damage and making it flinch. "Now use Fury Swipes." Purrloin leaps at Slowpoke and claws it repeatedly, knocking it back. Clyde takes an empty pokeball out of his pocket and throws it at the Slowpoke, it gets sucked into the pokeball and it wiggles around for a few seconds before it stops and clicks. Clyde picks up the pokeball. "Yeah. Slowpoke is mine."

"Thanks much. Slowpoke can be a big trouble to move sometime." said the conductor. The woman approaches Clyde.

"Wow. Amazing. The way you caught Slowpoke was the absolute coolest." said the woman.

"Thanks." said Clyde. The conductor walks over to the woman.

"We apologize for the wait. We checked your Armor Pass." said the conductor, giving the woman her Armor Pass. "All aboard the train to the Isle of Armor. Mind your step when boarding. Please be aware that there will be a connection along the way."

"Okaaay." replied the woman. The conductor walks way. The woman turns toward Clyde.

"I'm heading to a place called the Isle of Armor. I'm gonna catch some rare Pokemon and do some training. Let's hang out if we meet again, 'K?" said the woman. "Bye-bye, then. See ya." The woman walks through the ticket gate and boards the train. Soon, the train left the station. Clyde turns to look at everyone else.

"So what now, guys?" asked Clyde.

"I'm thinking we should check out that Isle of Armor place. There could be some more cool Pokemon we can capture." said Lincoln.

"But didn't the conductor say we needed something called Armor Passes to go there?" asked Luna.

"Where can we get some?" asked Lana. The conductor walks over to them.

"They're for sale at the ticket booth if you're interested in purchasing some." said the conductor.

"Really? Thank you, sir." said Lincoln. They all go over to the ticket booth to purchase some Armor Passes. Once they do, they go over and present them to the conductor.

"Everything appears to be in order. You may all go to the Isle of Armor whenever you're ready." said the conductor. Lincoln looks at everyone else.

"You guys ready?" asked Lincoln. Everyone cheers in response. "Okay, then. To the Isle of Armor." Everyone goes into the Flying Taxis just outside the station and soon leave for the Isle of Armor.
