Wayward Cave
Lincoln is currently facing a skunklike Pokemon on Route 206; he takes out his pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Stunky, the Skunk Pokemon. It sprays a nose-curling, stinky fluid from its rear to repel attackers." said Lincoln's Pokedex.
"I think I'll send this to Lana after I catch it." said Lincoln before pulling out a pokeball. "Go, Shieldon!" He throws Shieldon's pokeball and releases him. "Okay, Shieldon, use Tackle!" Shieldon charges at Stunky and rams it, knocking it back. The Stunky runs at Shieldon and scratches him, but not dealing much damage.
"I think that was Scratch." said Sam. "Good thing normal type moves don't work well against both rock and steel type Pokemon."
"Shieldon, use Take Down!" said Lincoln. Shieldon charges at Stunky and rams it, knocking it to the ground; Shieldon flinches in pain from the recoil damage of Take Down. Lincoln takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Stunky, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled around a few times until it clicked.
"Way to go, Lincoln." said Stella. Stunky's pokeball vanishes and gets transported to storage.
"Where did it go?" asked Simon.
"You see, Simon; trainers could only have six Pokemon on them." replied Sam. "Any other Pokemon a trainer captures while having six Pokemon gets transported to storage." Lincoln looks up Stunky's information.
"This says Stunky's a boy, he knows Poison Gas, Scratch, Feint, Smokescreen, Acid Spray and Fury Swipes." said Lincoln. "He has the Stench ability like Lana's Grimer."
"What do you think Lana will do with him once you send it to her?" asked Sam.
"Maybe do something to Rusty." said Lincoln with a grin.
"That would be fun to watch." said Stella.
After Lincoln returns Shieldon to his pokeball, he and the rest of the group grabbed their stuff, climbed onto their bikes and continued to explore Route 206 until they spot a cave opening on the northern part of it.
"Want to explore that cave?" asked Lincoln.
"There could be some Pokemon we haven't seen yet in there." said Clyde.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." said Dawn.
The group put their bikes by the opening and enter the cave and begin looking around.
"Wish we had a map of this place." said Luna.
"We should make one so we can find our way back to the entrance." said Lincoln as he pulls a notebook out of his backpack and starts drawing the entrance on it, along with the paths.
As the group continues to look around while Lincoln draws a map; they look around at the Pokemon that lived in the cave, such as Zubats and Geodudes. They suddenly encounter a bluish-green, circular Pokemon with a pair of eyes.
"What's that?" asked Sam as she takes out her pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Bronzor, the Bronze Pokemon. X-ray photos were taken to check its body structure, but nothing was seen." said Sam's pokedex.
"Anyone wanna catch this one?" asked Sam.
"I could use another Pokemon in my collection." said Stella.
"Go for it." said Lincoln. Stella takes a pokeball off her waist and tosses it, releasing her Combusken.
"Combusken, use Ember!" said Stella. Combusken breathes out bits of fire that hit the Bronzor, dealing super effective damage, but not as much as she thought it would.
"This Bronzor must be tough." said Clyde. The Bronzor's eyes suddenly glowed light blue; Stella's Combusken starts to stagger around until she trips and slams into a wall, receiving super effective damage.
"That must've been a psychic type move." said Lincoln.
"Combusken, use Double Kick!" said Stella. Combusken leaps at the Bronzor and hits it with two strong kicks, sending it flying into a tunnel wall, and then falls to the ground.
"Catch it, Stella!" said Clyde. Stella nods before she takes an empty pokeball out of her pocket and throws it at the Bronzor, hitting it and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"You did it, Stella!" said Lincoln who then uses his pokedex to look up Stella's new Bronzor's information. "Your Bronzor has no gender, it's part steel and psychic, it knows Tackle, Confusion, Confuse Ray, Payback, and Imprison; it has the Heatproof ability which lessens damage done to it with fire attacks."
After Stella's new Bronzor is teleported to storage; the group continues to look around a bit. They soon reach a cavern where they suddenly hear the sounds of a girl crying.
"Who's that?" asked Simon as he points at a young girl with long, burgundy hair with aside ponytail on the left side and a loop on the ride held with a golden, bell shaped, hair clip; she wore a white shirt, a burgundy, collar-like tie, burgundy shorts over white tights, and burgundy shoes, covering her face, weeping.
"Hey, are you okay?" asked Simon, getting the girl's attention.
"I'm lost." said the girl.
"Do you need help getting out of here, little dudette?" asked Luna.
"Do you know the way out?" asked the girl.
"Lincoln drew a map of this place, so we should be able to get you to the entrance." said Dawn.
"Thank you." said the girl. "My name is Mira."
"I'm Lincoln." said Lincoln.
"I'm his sister, Luna." said Luna.
"I'm his best friend, Clyde." said Clyde.
"I'm his girlfriend, Stella." said Stella, making Dawn frown at her.
"I'm Dawn." said Dawn.
"I'm Sam." said Sam.
"I'm Sam's little brother, Simon." said Simon.
"It's nice to meet all of you." said the girl now known as Mira.
"Let's get you out of here." said Clyde.
As the group starts to exit the cavern, Simon spots something shiny in a part of it.
"What's that?" asked Simon as he runs over and picks up what could be described as an orb made out of gold.
"Is that gold?" asked Luna.
"Do you think I can sell it?" asked Simon.
"Next time we're at a PokeMart, we'll find out." said Sam.
The group use Lincoln's map to make their way to the cave entrance; they soon see daylight.
"We're almost there." said Lincoln. At a tunnel path that was blocked by large rocks, something was tunneling out from under them.
"What's that?" asked Sam. The thing tunneling out stops in front of the group, and after a few seconds, a small, blue, bipedal, dragon-like Pokemon with a yellow underbelly, and a fin on top ot if. Dawn takes out her pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Gible, the Land Shark Pokemon. It once lived in the tropics. To avoid the cold, it lives in caves warmed by geothermal heat." said Dawn's pokedex.
"Why does the Gible in this picture look different from that Gible?" asked Simon.
"Must be a shiny Gible." said Lincoln. "Shiny Pokemon are a rare kind of Pokemon that are a different color than the one they normally are." Simon pulls out a pokeball.
"You gonna try to catch this one, Simon?" asked Sam.
"You bet." replied Simon. "Go, Croconaw!" He throws Croconaw's pokeball and releases him. "Croconaw, use Water Gun!" Croconaw fires a stream of water from his mouth and it hits Gible, dealing more damage than it normally would due to Splash Plate powering up Croconaw's water attacks. The Gible fires a light blue beam of energy out of its mouth, and it hits Croconaw, dealing damage.
"Croconaw, use Bite!" said Simon. Croconaw runs at Gible and bites it, dealing damage; Croconaw winces in pain.
"What's wrong with Croconaw?" asked Clyde.
"Not sure." replied Stella. The Gible charges at Croconaw and rams into him, dealing damage.
"Water Gun!" said Simon. Croconaw releases another stream of water out of his mouth at Gible, hitting it, and knocking it to the ground.
"I think it's weak enough, Simon." said Sam. Simon takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Gible, hitting it and sucking it in; it wiggled around a few times until it clicked.
"Yeah! I caught a Gible!" said Simon. Sam uses her pokedex to look up Gible's information.
"This says your Gible's a boy, he knows Sand Tomb, Tackle, Sand Attack, and Dragon Breath; he has the Rough Skin ability which hurts any Pokemon that attacks him physically." said Sam.
"That would explain why Croconaw looked hurt after he bit Gible." said Lincoln. After Simon returned Croconaw to his pokeball, the group continued walking towards the daylight until they reached the entrance to the cave.
"Thank you all for helping me out." said Mira.
"No problem, little dudette." said Luna.
"So where are you all off to?" asked Mira.
"Hearthome City." said Dawn. Mira thinks for a moment before she takes a pokeball out of her pocket and tosses it, releasing an Abra.
"If you want to get there faster, my Abra can use Teleport to send you there." said Mira.
"That would be a time-saver." said Stella. The group grab their bikes and gather around Mira and her Abra.
"Okay, Abra; use Teleport." said Mira. Abra starts glowing before everyone else starts to do the same; seconds later, everyone vanishes.
Looks like the group is about to get to Hearthome City faster than expected. What will they see when they get there? Wait and find out.
