Here is the official first chapter.
The first few chapters are slow and boring since I used my experience when forming a club during my university days.
I'll be providing profiles of the different Ice Queens and Kings found in this story so you can pick your favorite.
Here is the profile of our beloved Ice Queen and the first Ice Queen of the story:
Yukinoshita Yukino Profile
Age: 18
Nickname: Ice Queen by Hikigaya Hachiman with other nicknames but lately it has been, 'Annoying Cute'
Appearance: Yukino is a beautiful teenage girl of average height and slim build. She has fair skin and long black hair that spills over her shoulders and down to her hips, with an ahoge that lays flat atop her head. Two red ribbons adorn her hair, placed just above each shoulder. Her most striking feature is her large, piercing blue eyes, which often add to her icy, distant aura, earning her the nickname "Ice Queen."
Personality: Yukino is prideful, talented, and extremely intelligent. Her cold and blunt demeanor can be intimidating, as she tends to point out others' flaws without hesitation. Despite this, her character has softened recently, particularly around Hikigaya Hachiman, her boyfriend. Though their relationship is still filled with banter, Yukino's sharp tongue no longer creates distance between them, and Hikigaya often finds her behavior cute. Yukino remains competitive, driven by her desire to surpass her older sister, Haruno. While she can be cold and aloof, she is also compassionate in her own way, and better at understanding others' emotions than she lets on.
Abilities: Yukino is academically gifted, consistently ranking first in all subjects at school. She is also athletic, although she lacks confidence in her stamina. Her leadership skills were shown when she took over the festival committee, and she is skilled at cooking, having taught others how to make sweets such as cookies and chocolates. Yukino can also play musical instruments, such as the guitar and piano, and has sung in public, though she dislikes standing in front of others. She is highly perceptive, able to see through people's personalities, and her blunt honesty often cuts deeply.
Hobbies: Yukino is fond of cats, and she has a soft spot for Pan-san, a panda character she admires. Despite her usual cold demeanor, she has a playful, more vulnerable side that shows when she talks about or interacts with cats.
Relationship with Hikigaya Hachiman: Yukino's colder exterior has melted around Hachiman, with whom she shares a close relationship. Though they still engage in sharp banter, Hikigaya now sees her softer side, which she only reveals to him. Despite her bluntness, there is a deeper affection that grows between them, and their bond continues to evolve.
Yukinoshita Yukino awoke to the soft morning light filtering through her curtains, her eyes fluttering open as she stirred beneath the covers. The familiar warmth of her Pan-san pajamas, adorned with the beloved panda character, clung to her skin, though the cool air in the room urged her to rise. With a quiet sigh, Yukinoshita pushed the blankets aside and stood, her bare feet touching the cold floor as she removed her pajamas, folding them neatly on the bed.
She wrapped a smooth robe around herself and padded into the bathroom. Soon, steam from the hot shower filled the room, fogging the mirror as warm water cascaded over her slender figure. Her long, black hair, dark as midnight, clung to her back, reaching down to her hips. Yukino stood under the water for a moment longer than usual, savoring the soothing warmth that eased her morning tension.
Once finished, she stepped out, her porcelain skin flushed from the heat. She carefully dried herself, taking extra care with her hair before returning to her bedroom. There, her neatly arranged outfit awaited: a black blazer, a white dress shirt, a black skirt, and a pair of black pantyhose.
Yukinoshita dressed swiftly, slipping on the blouse and tucking it into the snug waistband of her skirt. The sharp lines of her black blazer complemented her poised demeanor, and the pantyhose clung perfectly to her legs, accentuating their slender elegance. Finally, she tied her long hair into a ponytail, fastening it with the two red ribbons she always wore, the ends spilling gracefully down her back.
Standing before the mirror, Yukinoshita smoothed the fabric of her skirt with practiced hands. The black business attire—standard for new students attending Tokyo University's opening ceremony—suited her perfectly, enhancing her refined beauty. Her sharp blue eyes, cold yet captivating, reflected a steely determination.
The day ahead was one she anticipated with mixed emotions. The opening ceremony, the endless speeches, and the businesslike atmosphere were mere formalities. What Yukinoshita truly looked forward to was her time with Hikigaya Hachiman. The thought of his cynical, sharp-witted remarks brought a faint smile to her lips. Despite their constant banter, his presence was comforting.
Adjusting her ribbons one last time, Yukinoshita took a deep breath, readying herself for the day. It wasn't just the speeches or club recruiting that awaited her—it was something far more meaningful. With that thought in mind, she turned and made her way to the door, prepared to face the day ahead.

Hikigaya Hachiman stood amidst the sea of first-year university students, trying to blend in as much as possible. His posture was slouched, hands shoved into the pockets of the stiff black suit he had been forced to wear. Tugging at the collar of his white dress shirt, he silently cursed the formality of the occasion. The suit, neat and pristine, was a far cry from his usual attire, and he felt suffocated by it. Standing there, listening to speech after speech from overly enthusiastic department presidents, he felt like nothing more than a cog in a machine.
The sound of polite applause echoed around him as another speaker wrapped up, but Hikigaya didn't bother joining in. His mind had already drifted, and his dead fish eyes, as always, betrayed his complete disinterest in the proceedings. His medium-short black hair, unruly as ever, featured a single tuft that stood stubbornly out of place—a testament to his ahoge's resilience. He couldn't help but wonder if it was the only part of him still alive after enduring this tedious ceremony.
Shifting on his feet, he longed to get out of the suit and into something more comfortable. Why does everyone have to wear this? he thought bitterly. It's not like a suit made the speeches any less mind-numbing. His eyes lazily scanned the room, but his thoughts drifted to his girlfriend, Yukinoshita Yukino.
She was likely somewhere in the crowd, standing tall with her usual grace and elegance, listening intently with that sharp, focused expression she always had. Hikigaya could practically picture her in her black blazer and skirt, her hair tied neatly with her signature red ribbons. The "Ice Queen"—as many referred to her—but to him, she was much more than that. She had softened in ways he still didn't fully understand, especially when they were alone. Despite her sharp tongue and occasional coldness, he found himself drawn to her more than he cared to admit.
Yet, a nagging thought kept him from wanting to seek her out right away—her family. The Yukinoshitas had moved to Tokyo for Yukino's university education. After, the opening ceremony she would likely go to lunch with them. Their family dynamics had been improving, especially with her older sister Haruno and their overbearing mother, but it was still a delicate situation. Yukinoshita's mother had recently begun treating Hikigaya like a son, which only made him more uneasy. He didn't want to jeopardize his relationship with Yukinoshita's father, who was more reserved in his approval.
What am I even going to do for lunch? He wondered. His parents were both working in Chiba today and his little sister, Komachi, would be at Sobu High, attending her classes. She was a second-year now, busy with her own school life. Hikigaya sighed inwardly. He didn't mind eating alone—he was used to it—but today felt different.
As he glanced around at the students excitedly making plans for lunch or discussing which clubs to join, Hikigaya felt a sense of detachment. It wasn't that he cared about joining in, but it still left him feeling disconnected. The thought of Yukinoshita being with her family only heightened that feeling.
Another round of applause signaled the end of yet another speech, and Hikigaya allowed himself a small sigh. I just want this to be over. All he wanted was to find Yukinoshita, escape the formalities of the day, and figure out what to do next—together.

Hikigaya slipped away from the crowd of first-year students, seeking a brief escape from the relentless speeches and the constricting confines of his suit. The hall was still abuzz with excitement, but a whisper caught his attention. Snippets of words—like "hot," "curvy," and "flashy"—drifted through the air and made him pause. His first thought was of Yukinoshita Yukino, but the descriptors didn't quite match her usual demeanor. Intrigued, he tried to figure out who they were referring to.
Lost in thought, Hikigaya accidentally bumped into someone. The sudden jolt startled him, and he barely had time to register that the person wore a black and gray-toned suit before they brushed past him and continued on their way, seemingly indifferent to his presence. Disoriented, Hikigaya blinked and watched as the stranger's figure disappeared into the crowd.
Shaking off the encounter, he resumed his walk, trying to clear his head. That's when he saw her—a woman with striking black hair styled elegantly and cascading down her back. Her graceful movements accentuated an hourglass figure that was hard to ignore. Hikigaya found himself unintentionally trailing behind her, his gaze drawn to the way her figure swayed with each step. 'She has a nice ass.' He thought he caught a glimpse of brown eyes but quickly looked away, feeling a blush creep up his cheeks. As he turned his attention elsewhere, a chill ran down his spine. 'Did she see me?"
The air around him carried a faint, intoxicating scent—something floral and delicate. He glanced back just in time to see long, white hair flowing behind the woman as she walked past him. The subtle fragrance lingered in the air, making Hikigaya wonder about the perfume she wore.
He couldn't help but admire how she moved, her presence both alluring and mysterious. For a moment, his curiosity was piqued, and he considered following her to learn more about who she was and why she seemed to captivate everyone's attention. But as he hesitated, the crowd around him pressed in once more, drawing him back into the sea of new students and their bustling activity.
Sighing, Hikigaya felt both intrigued and unsettled by the encounter. He resolved to focus on finding Yukinoshita and figuring out his plans for the day.

Hikigaya found himself in a predicament he hadn't anticipated. What began as a simple walk to see the different clubs had turned into an embarrassing trap. He was flanked by two strikingly beautiful women in Western cheerleader outfits designed to flaunt their figures, their allure intended to draw him in. Their laughter and playful teasing made it evident that he had been lured into a recruitment scheme for the American Football Club.
"Hey, cutie, we're almost there," one of the cheerleaders said, her voice dripping with seductive charm. "Once you sign up, your fun university life will be fulfilled."
Hikigaya's mind raced with self-reproach. How had he fallen for such a blatant trap? The realization hit him hard. "Sex appeal," he muttered to himself, cursing his weakness. He felt his heart sink as he thought about how Yukinoshita would react if she found out he had signed up for a sports club.
Suddenly, a frigid voice sliced through the air, halting the cheerleaders in their tracks. "Can you release that thing?" The voice was icy and unmistakably authoritative.
Hikigaya's stomach dropped. "Please, dear gods, don't let it be Yukinoshita," he prayed silently. But as he turned, his worst fear was confirmed. Yukinoshita Yukino stood behind him, her presence commanding the attention of everyone around.
Her elegant figure, accentuated by a black blazer and skirt, was further highlighted by her shimmering pantyhose. Hikigaya found himself momentarily mesmerized by the sheen of her legs. Damn! Those are some nice legs, sexy, he thought, feeling a blush creep up his cheeks. His anxiety spiked; he felt as if he might perish if he didn't say the right thing.
Yukino's sharp eyes locked onto him, her gaze cold and calculating. She glided forward with the poise of a queen ready to pass judgment. The two cheerleaders, sensing the shift in the atmosphere, exchanged regretful glances. They quickly released Hikigaya's arms and made a hasty retreat, their excitement fading into embarrassment as they fled the scene. Wait! Don't leave me!
Hikigaya was left standing there, feeling exposed and vulnerable. He wished for a smoke bomb or a Poké Doll[1] to make a quick getaway. The weight of Yukino's stare bore down on him, and he struggled to find the right words to explain himself.
Yukinoshita Yukino's lips curved into a thin, disapproving line as she addressed him. "It seems you have quite a talent for attracting attention, Hachiman. Did you really need such… extravagant means to choose a club?"
Her tone was crisp and unforgiving, leaving no room for excuses. Hikigaya gulped, feeling the full force of her disappointment. He knew he was in deep trouble and needed to salvage the situation before it worsened. Yukino's expression hardened as she prepared to deliver her reprimand.
Her voice, sharp and unforgiving, cut through the air. "Hachiman," she began, her tone dripping with disdain, "do you think it's appropriate to be seen with other women in such a manner? Is this how you intend to represent yourself at university?"
The surrounding students watched with a mixture of curiosity and sympathy as Hikigaya stood there, caught between Yukino's icy glare and the lingering embarrassment from the cheerleaders' departure. The scene was almost theatrical, with Yukino's imposing presence commanding the attention of everyone around.
Yukinoshita continued, her voice rising with each word. "Strangers should be approached with caution, and associating yourself with them in such an… intimate fashion is not only reckless but also highly inappropriate. What were you thinking, allowing yourself to be led around by the allure of mere sex appeal?"
Hikigaya tried to defend himself, his voice faltering as he stammered, "I—It wasn't like that, Yukinoshita. I didn't—"
But Yukino's sharp eyes cut him off. "Don't try to make excuses. This isn't the time for your usual rationalizations. You should be more discerning about the company you keep, especially when it comes to such blatant manipulation."
Hikigaya's face turned crimson under the weight of Yukino's scolding. The crowd around them seemed to lean in closer, some snickering quietly while others looked on with pity. The harshness of Yukino's words echoed through the courtyard, each syllable reinforcing Hikigaya's discomfort.
"You need to learn to make better decisions, Hikigaya-kun," Yukinoshita concluded, her voice softening slightly, though still carrying an edge. "Your actions reflect on you, especially here at university. It's not just about you; it's about how you present yourself to everyone around you."
With that, Yukinoshita gave him one last withering look before turning on her heel and walking away, her demeanor as composed and regal as ever. The students dispersed slowly, murmuring about the spectacle they had just witnessed.
As Yukinoshita began to walk away, Hikigaya felt a pang of desperation. He couldn't let her leave without explaining himself, without at least trying to make things right. Ignoring the stares and whispered comments from the crowd, he broke free from his lingering embarrassment and ran after her.
"Yukinoshita! Wait!" Hikigaya called out, pushing through the scattering students. His voice, strained and urgent, barely reached her over the noise of the bustling university campus.
Yukino's steps faltered for a moment, but she didn't turn around. Her back remained rigid, her posture indicating that she was still fuming. Hikigaya managed to close the distance, panting slightly from the exertion.
"Please, Yukinoshita, just let me explain!" Hikigaya pleaded, reaching out to gently grasp her arm. "It wasn't what it looked like. I—"
Yukinoshita stopped and slowly turned to face him, her eyes narrowing as she met his gaze. The icy coldness was still there, but there was a flicker of curiosity mixed with her frustration.
"Explain?" Yukino's voice was low, almost mocking. "What is there to explain, Hikigaya-kun? You were being led around by two women, clearly more interested in the attention they offered than in the commitments you made. How do you intend to justify that?"
Caught between his desire to defend himself and the undeniable truth of her criticism, Hikigaya struggled to find the right words. "I'll be honest, I didn't mean to fall for it. They just… caught me off guard. I was looking around at the different clubs, but I didn't realize they'd use such tactics. I didn't want to make you angry or hurt you."
Yukino's eyes softened slightly, though the sternness of her expression remained. "You should be more aware of your surroundings and the intentions of those who approach you. It's not just about the immediate impression; it's about how you handle yourself in situations that test your resolve."
Hikigaya nodded, taking a deep breath. "I understand. I do. And I'm sorry for causing a scene. I didn't want to let you think that I can be easily swayed or manipulated. I value your opinion too much to let something like this go without addressing it."
Yukinoshita studied him for a moment, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly. "Very well. Just remember that actions have consequences, and the way you handle situations reflects on you. I'll accept your apology, but I expect you to be more mindful in the future."
Hikigaya gave a sincere nod. "I will be. Thanks for listening."
With a final, somewhat softer look, Yukinoshita turned and waited for Hikigaya to stand at her side. They left the campus together.

The crowd had dispersed, and the excitement of the opening ceremony had given way to a more subdued atmosphere. A striking young woman in a black suit stood in the shadows, her presence commanding as she observed the scene between Hikigaya and Yukinoshita.
She had flowing white hair and an almost ethereal appearance. Her light blue eyes reflected an icy demeanor. Dressed in a high-collared blouse and a black skirt, she managed to accentuate her figure while maintaining an air of modesty.
"Hey, you're beautiful! Why don't you use your looks for the drama club? I'm sure you could land leading roles," a voice called out.
The white-haired woman turned toward the voice, her expression shifting to one of cool detachment. "I'm sorry, but it seems I'm already part of a circle," she replied sharply. "It's called Ice Castle—a place for people like me."
It was a simple white lie she had come up with on the spot. With that, she turned away from the speaker and walked toward several individuals who shared her icy demeanor—each one reflecting a similar stoic elegance. Her presence among them was like that of a queen returning to her court, her posture commanding and her gaze distant.
