Chapter 2: Abercrombie Bros Cirque De Eccentrical
15 Years Later:
On a bright and sunny day, at the train station, there is a large circus train getting ready for departure. There is a large train with many train cars connected to them on the tracks, some of them are for animals, supplies, and cars for the employees and performers.
It's a busy day today, because the circus is going to depart from the station and begin their work on performances across the states. All the employees are getting ready, gathering the supplies and equipment and have the animals put in the train cars, and everyone is getting aboard into the train. Among those still packing is Malcolm who is now a young adult. He has short blond hair in a ponytail, and wears a white t-shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Next to him is Marina who has grown to be a beautiful woman. She's wearing a neon green shirt, jean shorts and sneakers.
Malcolm and Marina put some of the supplies and their belongings inside the train car in front of the train. They are carrying the last of the bags to the train car.
"I think this should be the last of them," Malcolm says.
"Yeah. We already got plenty of our things and the supplies packed up," Marina says.
"And then we can get going," Malcolm says.
Marina looks around and wonders, "I wonder where Blitz went off to?"
"I think he went to get groceries with mom," Malcolm says.
"He did," A voice replies.
The group turns to see Charlies who seems to be the same after so many years, but is wearing a red, white, and black color Ringmaster's outfit with a black top hat. He is with another man who seems to be around the same age as Charlies. He is Charlie's brother, Matt. He has straight dark brown hair, hazel color eyes, and the same skin color as Charlies. He is wearing a similar Ringmaster outfit, but his is blue, black and white-
"Hey dad," Malcolm says.
"Hello Uncle Matt," Marina says.
"Hey kids, we're just about ready to go. We got all the animals and supplies in the cars and everyone is just about packed up," Charlies says.
"How are Aunt Lilly, and the others?" Malcolm asks.
"She and your cousins are doing fine, and finish having their things together and in the train car," Matt says.
"Now we just have to wait for the rest to get ready and for your mother and brother to get back, and we'll be hitting the road. Well the tracks anyway," Charles says.
The group begins laughing.
"Hey guys, we're back!" A voice calls out.
The group turn their heads to see Lucy who is older as well. She is wearing a yellow long sleeve shirt, with a long light orange skirt, and cream slip on shoes. Next to her is Blitz, who is now a teenage boy. He is wearing blue jeans, a green t-shirt, and black boots. Blitz has grown a little taller, but still shorter than everyone in the circus. Even his horns and tail have grown over the years. Both Blitz and his mother Lucy are carrying grocery bags and other bags full of food and supplies.
"Hey Blitz, got everything we need?" Charlies calls out.
"Yeah. I think we got everything we need," Blitz says.
Lucy chuckles, "I also double sure we got everything, and remind Blitz about his little sweet tooth."
Blitz blushes and panics, "Mom!"
The group begins laughing with smiles.
"Alright everyone, it's time to board the train and get going to the next town," Charlie says.
"Yes dad," The three siblings reply.
Malcolm walks to Lucy, "Here mom, let me get these for you."
"Thank you dearie," Lucy says
Soon, Blitz, Malcolm, Marina, and Lucy take the grocery bags to the train car, leaving the two brothers.
Matt turns to Charles and says, "Charles, I'm afraid to inform you that we've got another call from Mr. Wayne. He's planning on seeing us at the next town we visit."
"Again?" Charles questions and lets out a sigh.
"I'm afraid so," Matt says.
Charles shakes his head and says, "Thank you for letting me know Matt, but I hate having to deal with Robert Wayne."
"I know, so do I. I just wish he could just take no for an answer," Matt says, and softly pinches the bridge of his forehead.
"I know. We'll just have to tell him again that we refuse when we get to the next town. For now, it's best for us to get to the next town and set up for the show," Charles says.
"I couldn't agree more," Matt says.
With that, the two brothers head to the train and are now ready to leave for the next town for their performance.
A little time later, the train is ready to leave.
At the caboose, Matt calls out, "All aboard! All Aboard!"
Hearing Matt, one of the Ringmasters, the engineer blows the whistle and starts the train. Soon, the train begins to move along the tracks, taking the circus employees and animals to the next town. The train begins to travel across the plains and to the mountain areas, mainly following the tracks.
Later in the day, everyone on the train is doing what they can to keep themselves occupied and work on their performance. In his bedroom, Blitz is working on his knife throwing. He has a wooden target hanging on the wall in his room, and is on the other side while his knife case is on the table. He picks up a kunai and throws it at the target, getting a bullseye. Blitz then picks up a smith and wesson bullseye knife and throws it at the target.
Just then, he hears a knock on the door.
Blitz calls out, "Come in."
The door opens and Lucy steps into the room.
"Hi Blitz, how are you doing?" Lucy asks.
"Hi mom. I'm doing fine, just getting some practice before we get to the next town," Blitz says.
"That's nice, but remember we need to get to sleep early tonight. We got a lot to do when we arrive early in the morning," Lucy says.
"I will," Blitz says, and throws another knife at the target.
"And it seems you're getting a lot better with your target practice," Lucy says.
"Yeah. Been practicing for wheels," Blitz says.
"Good to hear. Remember to be careful and make sure to get to sleep early," Lucy says.
"Yes mom," Blitz says.
Lucy gives Blitz a smile before closing the door. Then turns her head to notice the photograph of herself, Charles, Malcolm and Maria as teenagers, and Blitz who is a small child.
Lucy smiles and says in thought, "He was just a sweet boy."
Flashback: 14 Years Ago
A year has gone by since Lucy and her family adopted Blitz. Over time, little Blitz begins to grow as babies do. Blitz begins to crawl, stand up, and soon ready to walk.
Lucy happily says, "Come to mommy, sweetie."
There, she is holding Blitz by his small hands as he begins to walk. Little Blitz follows his mother as he slowly takes his first few steps.
"There you go, you're doing a lot better today," Lucy happily says as baby Blito giggles with a smile.
She picks him up in her arms as she says, "Upsie daisies."
Then Lucy gently gives Blitz a kiss on his forehead.
Flashback: 12 Years Ago
On the day the Cirque De Eccentrical is beginning, Charles is talking with Lucy, his brother Matt along with her wife, Lilly. She has lovely light blonde hair, fair skin, and blue color eyes wearing a nice light teal color dress and cream color flats. The four adults turn to hear laughter to see all their children playing.
Malcolm, Marina, and Blitz are playing their cousins: Tim is a young boy with fair skin, dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes, and wearing a white shirt and blue pants, and is two years older than Malcolm. Then there are Andy and Candy two years younger than Blitz.
Both Andy and Candy have their father's hair and eye color, and their mother's kin color. Andy is wearing a blue shirt with black jeans, and sandals, while Candy is wearing a purple dress.
All of them are running and playing ball together with smiles on their faces.
Flashback: 10 Years Later
Lucy is sitting inside the train car as she works on her sewing. Just then, the door opens and gently closes. She turns to see young Blitz walks inside with a small bouquet of dandelion flowers.
He presents them to Lucy and says, "Look mommy, I'd pick you some flowers, aren't they pretty?"
"They look very nice," Lucy says, and picks up the flowers.
She smiles and says, "Thank you, Blitzo?"
Blitzo shows a big smile on his face, glad to see his mother happy.
Flashback: 10 Years Ago
Inside the animal tents, Blitz and Marina are inside as the employees are feeding the animals. Blitz is busy looking at the horses as he holds a toy horse plushie. He watches them in amazement as his tail wags slowly.
"All the horses look so pretty and cool," Blitz says.
"And they're so cute," Marina adds.
Just then, a yellow color hors with white mane and tail walks to the children and lowers its head as it sniffs close to Blitz's head.
Blitz giggles and says, "That tickles."
Then says, "You're really pretty."
The horse neighs and gives Blitz a lick on his forehead, making him laugh.
"I think that horse likes you, Blitz," Marina says.
Blitz says, "I like her too. I think I'll call her Buttercup. She's yellow like a buttercup flower mom showed us."
The horse neigh in reply.
"I think she likes it," Blitz says, happily.
Flashback: 8 Years Ago
At the circus, Malocolm is helping Blitz learn how to balance on the ball. Blitz stands on the ball, but is having trouble keeping his balance.
"Woah! This is harder than it looks!" Blitz says.
"I know, but you're doing well with your balance, now to try to walk on the ball," Malcolm says.
"Okay. I'll try," Blitz says, reluctant.
Blitz begins to slowly put one foot back as he pushes the ball to roll. He continues to take one step at a time as he walks on the ball and the ball begins to roll.
"Alright Blitz, you're doing it," Malcolm says, pleased.
Blitz smiles and says, "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!"
"Alright Blitz, great job," Malcom says, feeling proud.
Blitz also begins laughing.
Flashback: 6 Years Ago.
This shows Blitz's tenth birthday, and everyone in the circus is celebrating.
The family happily cheers, "Happy Birthday Blitzo!"
Blitz happily says, "Thanks everyone."
"Come on Blitz, blow out your candles and make a wish," Candy says.
"Okay," Blitz says.
With that, Blitz blows out the candle as he makes a wish.
Everyone claps and cheers as they celebrate his birthday.
Present Day:
Lucy smiles with happiness, she loves her three children, and they all love her, and Blitz loves her a lot. Then she walks down the train car and into her room close by.
Very early the next day, it's still dark outside, and everyone in the train is already fast asleep as the train continues to ride on the tracks and the conductor is still working on the train. Soon, the train rides on the tracks up a very steep hill. The conductor works on the controls so the train can ride on the steep hill smoothly. In a matter of seconds, the train goes down the hill and the conductor works on the controls so the train doesn't go down so fast. The train continues to go down the steep hill and ride through the mountain area until they reach a wide open field area. There is also a city and a town close to the mountains which is their next stop. The conductor works with the controls and the breaks so the train will come to a complete stop. Once the train stops at the destination, the conductor turns off the engines and other needs so the train will stop.
Time has gone by, and now it's late in the evening, and the sun continues to go down until it's dark now. At the same time, the circus lights are on and many people are entering the big top tent to see the show tonight. Inside the big top, every man, woman, and child are sitting at their seats with excitement, waiting for the circus to start. Some even have food, drinks, and some have their cameras or cellphones out for the performance.
Just then, the lights turn off as everyone waits patiently. Soon, the headlights shine on center stage, revealing both Charles and Matt in centerring wearing their Ringmasters outfit.
Charles is the first to announce, "Ladies and Gentlemen! Children of all ages! Welcome to the incredible, stupendous, and uniqueness of the Abercrombie Bros Cirque De Eccentrical! I'm Charles…"
"And I'm Matt. The Abercrombie Bros, and your ringmasters, and magicians," Matt announces.
"And it's a pleasure to meet you all!" Both brothers announce.
Then Charles says, "Now tonight you'll be seeing performances that will stun and amaze you and will leave you breathless."
"And will be seeing performers with unique and unusual appearance and skills will show you a great time that will leave smiles on your faces," Matt adds.
Soon, the performers of tonight, including Blitz, Malcolm, Marina, Tim, Andy, and Candy arrive and join their fathers on center stage.
"And now, to start off our performance, my dear brother and I will show you a great magical performance that will astound you," Charles adds.
Matt and Charles remove their hats and hold them close to each other.
"And now, let's the Cirque De Eccentircal begins!" Matt says, and taps both hats with a wand.
Then fireworks come flying out of the hat and explode around the center ring, everyone claps and cheers with excitement. And now, the circus begins.
Swinging on the trapeze bar are Andy and Candy, and are both wearing their trapeze outfit.
Andy is wearing red and white color leotards, and black shoes for acrobatics.
Candy is wearing a candy apple trapeze swimsuit, with light red frills around the waist and on the straps. She is also wearing tights, matching her skin color, and cotton candy pink slippers. Andy is wearing the clothes he has before.
Matt announces, "First up, we have our two talented trapeze artists!"
The two performers continue to swim on the trapeze bars. Andy soon begins to hang upside down with his legs holding on to the bar. Candy then swings out and lets go of the bar. She performs a few loops before he takes Andy's hand.
Everyone claps in amazement.
Matt announces, "Andy and Candy!"
The next act, one of the performers is strapped on to a wheel with an apple on her head as two others spin the wheel around. Then daggers get pierced on the wheel.
Then Charles says, "Our knife thrower! A perfect shot who never misses his target!"
The one who is throwing the knives is Blitz who is wearing black pants, a red long sleeves shirt with a black vest on, black and red boots, and has his special red skull choker on his neck.
Blitz throws some of the knives at different locations. Then the two female performers stop the wheel as the performer is now upside down. Then Blitz throws the knife and it hits a bullseye on the apple attached to her head.
Charles announces, "Blitz!"
The audience claps and cheers with excitement.
Next, there is a muscular black man with buzz-cut black hair. He is wearing a black tank top with blue pants, and wearing sneakers. He he is lifting a wooden platform that has a few tons of bricks on it,"
"One of the strongest among strongmen, and the most muscular man…" Matt announces.
Then the muscular man has the platform high above his head.
"Juma!" Matt announces.
Everyone claps and cheers.
And then, Malcolm is at center stage as he performs in light green and blue color leotards and is barefoot. Malcolm bends his body so that his feet are bent into a back loop close to his face as his arms are placed to where his chin is at.
"Our next performance! Watch as he bends his entire body to perform impossible flexibility," Charles announces.
Malcom then places his hands on the ground as he pushes himself up with his legup. And continues to perform difficult or close to impossible bends and flexibility.
"Our own contortionist…" Charles adds.
He then uses his hands to jump high, performs a flip, and lands on his feet.
Charles announces, "Malcolm!"
After that, the next performer is a man who has hair on his face, the upper feet, hands, and has a brushed back brown hair that matches the fur color, and has green eyes. He is wearing a beige color long sleeve shirt, dark red pants, and a burgundy cloak, and He then howls and his dogs howl like they're singing.
"And our spectacular Dog man, and his canine comrades, Claude!" Matt announces.
Everyone cheers and some of the children are excited to see some dogs.
And now the next act, a young man with light brown hair, wears glasses, and wears a white shirt, black pants, and red and white sneakers is riding on a unicycle and riding on top of the elephant.
"And next is our unicyclist, who can ride over ten elephants in a row!" Charles announces.
Then the last elephant raises its trunk as Dylan rides it to the top.
Matt announces, "Dylan!"
Then Charles says, "And next off, if you look up on the high jump above."
The light shines to see Marina is standing on top of a tall high jump board. She is wearing a bikini swimsuit, with white laces around the waist. The top of the bikini looks like purple seashells, and the bottom half is sparkly and looks like light blue scales with a skirt attached. The scales all over her skin also sparkles in the light
"Our own beloved mermaid of the group!" Charles announces.
Marina then jumps off the diving board, performs a few tricks, and dives into a tank of water that is ten feet tall, and 12 feet wide on all sides. Marina then swims around the water with some hippos and sea lions.
Then Charles announces, "Marina!"
All the people clap and cheer with excitement, and some of the kids begin to wonder if she's a real mermaid.
And then, there is another woman who is around her late twenties. The woman has red wavy short hair, pale skin, and two different colored eyes: left gray eye, and right blue eye. She is also wearing a burgundy color body suit with black boots. She uses her whip as she commands a tiger, a panther, a jaguar, and a puma. She instructs them to perform on platforms, jump through hoops of fire, and other tricks.
Matt announces, "And lastly, our last performer for the night. The Commander of Wild Cats and the Leader of Felines."
The wild cats join the female as a little gray kitten with green eyes joins the woman and climbs on her shoulder.
Matt announces, "Koneko!"
Everyone claps and cheers in excitement.
Time has gone by and the show is a success. Sometime after tonight's show, everyone is gathered by the campfires as they serve each other food and drinks.
"That was a great show we did tonight. Everyone loved it," Dylan says.
"Yeah. And my dogs love seeing so many people, especially the kids," Claude adds.
Then Koneko says, "My cats sure had a good time, and Sultan feels great once his paw healed."
Among one of the campfires, the Abercombe family are having a good chat as they have their dinner.
"That was a great performance everyone!" Charles says.
"It sure was dad. One of our best," Malcolm says.
"Yeah," Tim replies.
And we'll bring cheers to another great show tomorrow," Matt says.
Then Tim asks, "Hey dad, you think you and I can do our magic show tomorrow?"
"That's part of the schedule we have tomorrow," Matt says with a grin.
"Yes," Tim says, excited.
Marina then turns her head tomorrow, "So Blitz, you think you'll be doing your tightrope walking tomorrow."
But Blitz doesn't answer.
"Uh Blitz?" Marina says, confused.
The group soon notice that Blitz has fallen asleep on Lucy's lap.
"And… we've lost him," Andy says with a chuckle.
"Blitz had a long day, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's feeling a little tired," Candy says.
Then Candy lets out a yawn.
"And it looks like you're tired as well," Charles says.
"Yeah. We had a very long day," Andy replies.
"Well, after we finish eating and cleansing everyone, we'll return to the train cars for the night," Matt says.
"Sounds good," Malcolm says.
Sometime later, after dinner and late in the night, everyone is fast asleep for the night. Everyone but Matt and Charles who are talking outside of the train car.
"What? He's going to come here tomorrow?" Charles asks, shocked.
"Yes. He said he wanted to talk to you about the earlier conversation," Matt says.
Charles grunts in frustration, "Again? I thought we told him no."
"I know what you mean. That Robert Wayne is getting on my nerves. I'm just about to go crazy," Matt says, and ruffles his hair.
"I know. We'll just have to be prepared for when he arrives tomorrow," Charles says with a sigh.
"Yes. I just hope we can get him to be more reasonable this time," Matt replies.
And with that, Charles and Matt head back to their train cars to sleep for the night, and hope to deal with this Mr. Robert Wayne in the morning.
