Chapter 105: Wedding Worries and Excitements
The next day, everyone is gathered in the I.M.P lounge, working on their weapons, having their coffee and donuts, and doing other stuff involving their work. Soon, Barbie, Octavia, Mimmy, Blitz and Stolas walk into the office, and Blitz and Stolas both have big smiles on their faces.
Seeing the twins, Millie says, "Morning Blitz. Morning Barbie."
"Hey Stolas. Via. Mimmy," Randall says.
"Morning guys," Barbie says as she waves.
"Good morning," Blitz says, still smiling.
"Good morning everyone," Stolas says.
"Hey guys, you both sure look cheerful today," Razor says.
"Yeah. Did you two enjoy your date yesterday?" Randall asks.
"We certainly did, and it was the best night," Blitz says.
"It most certainly was," Stolas says.
Barbie snickers and says, "Well, you both do deserve to be happy."
Octava and Mimmy nod their heads in response.
"Well, it's no surprise. You two are very happy together," Moxxie says with a smile.
Blitz nods, "Yes, but we actually have more reason to be happy now."
"Why? Did something special happen?" Velma asks.
"Oh yes, something very special happened," Stolas says.
"What is it?" Berry asks.
"Yeah. Don't keep us in suspense," Loona says, sounding a bit eager.
"Sorry about that, but we wanted you all to be the first to know. After that, we plan to go to Earth to talk to my family about it," Blitz says.
"About what?" Berry asks.
"Well, Blitz and I want to talk to you all about it. What we want to tell you is…" Stolas says.
Moments later…
Randall is the first to scream in shock, "You're getting married?!"
Octavia feels a little pain, "Thank you Randall, you almost got me dead in my ears."
"That hurts," Mimmy says, having her ears covered.
"I can imagine Randall will be having the biggest outburst for all of us," Barbie says.
Millie, Berry, and Velma happily say, "WONDERFUL!"
"So Stolas, you finally proposed," Sarge says with a calm smile on his face.
"Wow. That means you two will be officially tying the knot," Randall says, "About time you both are going forward with the 'I do.'"
Moxxie nods, "Looks like congratulations are in order."
"I say it's about time," Drew says.
"I know," Barbie says and hugs Blitz, "I'm so happy for my brother. And for Stolas to become my brother in law."
"And I'll be happy about you being my sister in law," Stolas says.
"Glad to hear, and if you did anything to hurt my bro, I clobber you," Barbie says, cracking her knuckles.
Stolas sheepishly smiles and says, "I'll keep that in mind."
"So when's the wedding," Millie asks, excited.
"We just proposed last night so we haven't decided," Stolas says.
"Hey Blitz, will you be wearing a wedding dress like what happened after Halloween?" Randall asks.
"I don't know about that," Blitz answers, blushing a bit, "In fact, Stolas and I weren't sure if we're going to have a ceremony."
"Huh?" Everyone reacts.
"But why?" Berry asks, confused.
"Yeah. You both deserve to have a wedding ceremony," Drew says.
Stolas sighs, "Yes, it would be wonderful to have a wedding ceremony to have you all and Blitz's family over. However, it won't be when my family and the other Goetias find out, especially Stella, Andrealphus, and my father."
Randall scoffs and says, "Oh forget about those fuckers, especially your ex-wife and brother-in-law."
Octavia turns to her dad in concern, "Do you think grandfather won't be happy about it?"
"It's hard to say about my father, but Stella and Andrealphus would explode if they knew," Stolas says, scratching the tip of his beak.
"Who cares about what they think? This is your life, not theirs. Besides, you already put up with that bitch Stella, enough. It's time you forget about her and move on with your new future husband," Randall says, annoyed.
"And I'm not sure about Paimon," Sarge says, "Then again, I don't think I've actually seen him before. Not that I remember."
"Are you kidding? I hear from Stolas that the dude forgets his name because of so many siblings he has. Bet he doesn't remember all their names either," Randall says.
"I think I get the idea, Randall," Stolas says, annoyed.
"I'm sure we'll figure something out eventually," Blitz says.
"Still, your family is going to be excited to hear you and Stolas getting married," Berry says.
"I know!" Millie says excited, "We gotta start with the preparations. As friends, it's our job to help with the ceremony and the reception."
Moxxie then begins to think about it, "Hmm, would it be proper for the marriage to take place on Earth or in Hell, considering that Blitz was raised on Earth."
"We gotta get outfits, and also food," Berry says.
Octavia giggles and says, "Calm down guys, my dad just proposed to Blitz last night."
"Yes. I've a little too soon to think of that," Stolas says.
"It's never too late to start," Drew says.
Suddenly, they hear a knock on the door.
"Who could that be?" Sarge questions.
Sarge walks to the door, opens it, and to his surprise, he sees Verosika Mayday at the door. And Verosika also has a piece of paper that is folded in her hand.
"Verosika?!" Drew says, dumbfounded.
Berry sighs, "Oh dear, here we go again," and shakes her head in response.
Remaining calm, Sarge says, "Hello Ms. Mayday, can I help you with something?"
"Actually you can, I appreciate you keeping whatever racket you're making down a notch. I got work going on today," Verosika says.
"Sorry about that, we just a bit hyped today," Sarge says.
"You all sound excited about something," Vortex says as he walks over.
"Hey Vortex," Loona says with a wave.
"Hey Loona, so what's all the excitement in here," Vortex asks.
"Stolas and Blitz are getting married. Stolas proposed to Blitz, and they both are getting married," Loona answers.
"Really?" Verosika asks, turning to the pair.
"Yes. It's true," Blitz says with a nod.
"Congratulations," Verosika says with a smile.
"Way to go, you guys," Vortex says.
"Thank you, Vortex," Stolas says.
"You too, Verosika," Blitz says.
"You're welcome," Verosika says.
"So Verosika, what brings you here today?" Blitz asks.
"Well, I have something for Blitz," Verosika says and presents the folded paper towards Blitz, "And is also welcomed to bring as many people as he likes. Despite the tension and such from a certain someone," and turns to Drew.
Drew turns away with a scowl expression and with his arms crossed. That causes Velma to be concerned.
Blitz takes the folded paper and asks, "What's this?"
"It's an invite. I'm inviting you all to a Halloween Party on Earth," Verosika says.
Blitz and Stolas look to see a black paper decorated with orange pumpkins, white stars, purple and pink color witches hat, and some confetti attached to it.
"Thank you," Blitz says.
"Thank you, Verosika," Stolas says.
"No problem," Verosika.
She then turns to Drew with a frown, "And Drew can come if you're interested, much as I don't like it."
Drew groans, "You just have to say that."
"Come on, let's not get into tension here," Blitz says.
Stolas then says, "Still, we would love to attend your party."
"Glad to hear it," Verosika says, "The party is going to be on Halloween, so you're welcome to come as yourselves or in costumes."
"Sure. We'll be here," Blitz says.
"See you guys later," Verosika says.
"See you at the party," Vortex says.
Verosika and Vortex take their leave and Sarge closes the door.
"Well, it looks like we're going to have a fun party," Millie says.
"Seems so," Moxxie says, shrugging his shoulders.
Velma turns to Drew, "Drew, are you okay?"
Drew sighs, "Not really," he groans and places his hand on his face, "I just can't believe we have to go to her party."
"Drew, you don't have to go if you don't want to," Berry says.
"No. I'll go. It's better for me to go there than having to deal with Verosika taunting me for not coming to her party later," Drew says, still frustrated with Verosika.
"Are you sure you'll be okay with it?" Razor asks, concerned.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Drew says. Then sighs, "I just hope I don't end up regretting this.
"In the meantime, we should start getting costumes and other stuff for the party," Millie says, "And of course, start with ideas for wedding preparations."
Drew chuckles, "I guess you're right."
Sometime later…
Blitz and his friends, along with his new fiance, arrive at the Abercrombie Circus to visit his family and friends. Of course, learning about their beloved Blitz is now engaged to Prince Stolas and makes them very happy.
"Oooh, Blitz, congratulations," Candy happily says and hugs Blitz.
"Thank you, Candy," Blitz says.
"Oh Blitz, I'm so happy for you," Lily happily says.
Matt chuckles with a smile, "I say congratulations is an order."
"Yeah. It's great to hear you're officially tying the knot," Andy says.
"That's right," Tim says.
Blitz smiles and says, "Thank you everyone."
"We're really happy to hear you're getting married," Lily says, and gives Blitz a hug.
Tim turns to Stolas, "Well Stolas, it sounds like you're going to be part of the family."
"Yes. However, despite all that, I'm going to do whatever it takes to help make Blitz happy," Stolas says.
"Glad to hear it," Lily says, still hugging his nephew, "I wish for you to take your word to be there for my darling nephew."
"Don't worry, I'm going to make sure of it," Stolas says with a sheepish smile.
And Barbie says, "Don't worry, I'll be sure to help out in making sure he takes care of Blitz."
Moxxie rolls his eyes, "You're starting to sound like Millie's parents when I was planning to marry Millie."
Millie giggles, "I remember."
Razor rolls his eyes, "I just hope I don't have to deal with the same issue with my parents- in laws when I tie the knot."
Berry giggles in response.
Candy then says to Blitz and Stolas, "Still, we're very happy to hear you two are getting married. We hope that you both are able to live a long happy life together."
"Thank you, Candy," Stolas says.
Loona turns to Octavia and Mimmy, "How do you two feel about becoming sisters?"
"Well, I have to admit, it was a bit surprising, but then again, I actually thought it's nice to become Mimmy's older sister," Octavia says and pat Mimmy on the head.
Mimmy giggles and hugs her, "And I'm very happy to become your little sister, and I get to have your daddy as my other daddy. And my daddy will be your other daddy."
Everyone giggles to hear it.
Stolas soon begins to grow concerned again.
Noticing it, Blitz asks, "What's wrong, Stolas?"
"Well, I still can't help but worry about how my family and the other Goetias will react to our marriage. Personally, I stopped caring about what they really think a long time ago, but I worry that it could put you and your family in danger," Stolas explains.
Then sighs, "Especially with Stella and Andrealpus."
"And I call BS on it," Randall says, rolling his eyes, "Who cares what those Peabrains think? You and Stella divorced so she shouldn't even care anymore."
"Uh, did you forget that Stella hired an assassin to have Blitz and Stolas killed?" Berry questions with a frown.
"Yeah, but Stolas said that Stella called it off," Randall says.
"That's true, but it doesn't change that the two might be up to something," Sarge says.
"That's true. I wonder what they'll do when they find out," Stolas says.
"Well, we're not going to let that happen," Drew says.
Velma asks, "Was Stella and Andrealphus really that bad?" sounding curious and concerned.
"That's right. Those guys are fuckin nuts," Randall says.
Drew says, "You forgot to mention dangerous."
"Well, I'm sure we can think of something," Matt says.
"I hope so," Berry says.
Then Millie says, "On the other note, we're all being invited to a party."
"A party?" Tim says, confused.
"Yes. Verosika invited us to a Halloween Party," Blitz says and brings out the Halloween invitation.
He opens it and says, "According to the invitation, it's actually going to be at a house in the living world on Halloween.
"Really?" Candy asks, curious.
"That's what the invitation said. The address is on it and everything," Sarge says.
"Well, it makes sense. Every year demons come to Earth to celebrate Halloween, and it's a great time of year when demons can go as themselves without any worries," Berry says.
Drew sighs, "As much as I hate having to deal with Verosika, I'm at least glad we can go to the party." And groans, "I just hope we don't have to deal with her there."
"Don't worry, as long as you stick with us, you don't have to deal with her," Velma reassures with a gentle smile.
Drew smiles, "Thanks Velma."
Then Candy turns to Blitz, "Still, on another note, what kind of wedding ceremony do you plan on having?"
"Well the truth is, we weren't sure about having a wedding ceremony or a reception," Blitz says.
"Yes. We were worried about how my family would react," Stolas says.
"You two can always elope," Randall says.
"Uh, eloping is not very easy to do," Berry says.
"Yeah you're right. It won't be easy, but it will help keep Toxbane off their backs for a while," Randall says.
"Oh yeah, I remember you guys mentioning it," Max says.
"Yes, and we still weren't able to find him," Sarge says.
"I'm sure you'll be able to find him eventually and put a stop to whatever plans he and his goons have," Andy says.
"And we will need to be extra careful because they got those D.H.O.R.K.S involved," Drew says.
"Oh dear," Lily says.
"Don't worry Blitz, we'll be careful in case they try to come and make contact with us," Matt says.
"Thanks Uncle Matt," Blitz says.
"Maybe it will be a good idea to wait a little before deciding what to do about the marriage. Like you said, Stolas just proposed," Candy says.
"Don't worry, we'll figure something out," Blitz says.
And then grows a bit concerned, "I hope."
Later on…
Blitz and Barbie are on the phone with Fizzarolli.
Of course, the Imp clown happily says, "Congrats Blitz, happy to hear that you and Stolas are finally going to be tying the knot. Rather quickly huh, but it shows how much you two love each other."
"Thank you, Fizzarolli," Blitz says.
"I'm happy to hear you two are finally getting hitched," Fizzarolli says.
"I know," Barbie says, "Makes me wonder when you and Oz plan on tying the knot."
Embarrassed, Fizzarolli says, "Oh, we're not busy yet. I mean, we're still working on the fact that Oz and I are still going out, and a lot keep talking about us being together and me quitting Mammon."
"Make sense," Blitz says, shrugging his shoulders.
"Well, hope you and Stolas have a happy life together, and Ozzie sends his regards too," Fizzarolli says.
"Thank you," Blitz says.
'Bye," Then Barbie hangs up the phone.
Soon, Stolas walks into Barbie's room and has a smile on his face.
"Hi Barbie. Hello Blitz, how was talking to Fizz?" Stolas says with a smile.
"It was fine," Barbie says.
"Fizz and Asmodeus were happy to hear about our marriage," Blitz says.
"I'm very glad," Stolas says with a smile.
"I'm very glad as well," Blitz says.
Stolas sits next to Blitz and takes his hand, "And I'm very happy to have you and everyone who supported us in our lives."
Blitz nods, "Yes. I do."
The two then lean to each other and snuggle to each other with love.
Barbie chuckles, "Glad to see you two are having a good time with your marriage. But how about you do it in your room before the girls come over."
Blitz and Stolas giggle.
"Sorry about that, Barbie," Blitz says.
"We'll take this in our room," Stolas says.
With that, the two then take their leave and continue with their romance in their room.
Barbie giggles and shakes her head, "For some reason, I feel the two will be able to live a long and happy life. With, or without the Goetias' involvement."
Once Blitz and Stolas enter their room, they both share a passionate kiss as they hug each other.
