"Woohoo I Island!" Mina says in excitement high-fiving Toru as class 1a sits in the classroom after the final day of the semester.
"This is going to be so much fun," Momo says. "I can't wait to show you all around I Island."
"What do you mean to show us around? Have you already been there?" Jiro asks.
"Of course, my parents are some of I Island's most prominent investors," Momo says happily. "What about you, Izuku, have you been there before?"
"No, my uncle doesn't invest in tech that much so we never got an invite," Izuku says. "It should be interesting seeing what it looks like for the Expo party."
"Expo party?" Ururaka asks.
"Yeah with the keynote speakers and whatnot," Izuku says.
"You got invited to that?" Momo asks. "Those tickets are normally tough to get. My family only got 3 tickets for the event."
"Yeah I uh know one of the Keynote speakers," Izuku says, taking a sip of water.
"Really, who?" Jiro asks curiously.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Izuku says, staring off into the distance.
There is a short pause as the class glances back and forth before Shote says, "Well it's nice to hear it won't be just me, Momo, and Bakugo for the party."
"I'm going too," Kirishima says. "Bakugo selected me as his plus one."
"I will also be there as a representative of… my family," Iida says, his voice fading at the last line.
"Momo, do you have any tickets for a plus one?" Mina asks excitedly.
"Yes, however, it's unfortunately only enough for two people," Momo says.
"Izuku?" Mina looks over hopefully.
"Sorry, I'm someone's plus one so I can't add a plus one for myself," Izuku says.
"Aw man," Mina says.
"Don't worry it opens up the next day to the public so it should be fine," Izuku says while thinking. "Assuming there's anything left anyway."
"That's true and should be amazingly fun," Mina says. "In fact, I have an idea why don't we all go shopping today in preparation for I Island and the summer camp!"
Izuku blinks and looks at Mina while the class starts talking about it.
"Well it would help increase class bonding," Momo says. "Especially since we haven't done something like that since the class dinner and that ended…"
"Depressingly," Izuku says.
"I was going to say something more tactful but yeah," Momo says.
"I suppose it would be fun," Izuku shrugs.
"You stupid extras," Bakugo says. "That's just a waste of time."
"Come on Bakubro," Kirishima says. "It'll be fun."
"I unfortunately will also not be going," Shote says. "I'm visiting my mom today."
"Don't worry about it," Mina says. "You can meet up with us later."
Shote nods and leaves as the rest of class 1a assemble to go to the mall.
"Come in, Toshinori," Nezu says sitting at the desk in his office. "What can I do for you today?"
"I have concerns about young Midoriya," All Might says, closing the door behind him.
"You think he is the spy at U.A.?" Nezu says.
"How did you-" All Might begins.
"You aren't exactly the hardest to read Toshinori and I have the same suspicions too," Nezu says. "There have been too many inconsistencies with him. Too many times where it seems for a moment like someone else is hiding underneath."
"That's not even mentioning the main reason I came," All Might says.
"Come now he can't be that strong," Nezu says.
"I would have died," All Might stares directly at Nezu. "Even in my prime, that punch would have killed me."
"In that case, that's just one more bit of evidence to the board," Nezu says as he waves All Might behind his desk. "I've been keeping track of this since USJ and quite frankly the evidence is compelling, to say the least."
All Might looks at a group of sticky notes on the computer ranging across the entire screen with little pieces of string in between different bits of information.
"So what should we do first?" Mina asks as class 1a enters the mall.
"Shopping sounds like fun," Toru says.
"There's an arcade near here too," Ojiro says.
"I think there's a restaurant near here with good reviews," Momo says.
"That does sound like fun," Sato says.
As people eventually split off to different activities, only Mina and Izuku were left.
"So it's just the two of us," Mina says, leaning against Izuku. "Want to go somewhere private or will we work up to that."
"Mina," Izuku says with a playful glare.
"Fine fine normal couple things then," Mina says smiling as they walk toward a shop.
"So he's the spy," All Might says after looking at the board for a few minutes.
"The evidence seems to point that way yes," Nezu says. "However as you can see there are a dozen other students with evidence pointing to them as well."
"So why are you so sure it's him?" All Might asks.
"It's all about taking a step back," Nezu says. "Each of these other suspects has one or two inconsistencies that point to their potential as a spy Izuku has far more. For example, his uncle a family member who paid for Izuku's training and surgeries is nothing more than a ghost of a paper trail. The fact that he was nowhere to be found during the Hosu incident and during USJ he disappeared just long enough to let the Nomu get into position."
"He cut the Nomu in half though," All Might says.
"That he did but based on what he had already seen that should have just added another Nomu for you to fight unless he knew that its head was its weakness," Nezu says. "Not to mention he waited until you were close enough to be hit as a side effect to make the attack. Based on the skill we have seen him use he shouldn't have made that careless of a mistake. But what concerns me most is the chance we are right and what that likely entails."
"Which is?" All Might asks.
"What has Katsuki Bakugo called Izuku since he arrived at this school," Nezu asks.
"Dek… oh fuck," All Might in a panic. "You think-"
"That Izuku is Deku," Nezu says. "I admit it's a high possibility based on the evidence we have so far."
"Hey little sis," Natsuo says hugging Shote before leaning back and revealing a slight scar burn scar over his left eye. "You manage to avoid him?"
"Please I feel confident this is the one family event he won't touch," Fuyumi says walking up with her own scar over her left eye before hugging Shote.
"Hey, Natsuo. Hey, Fuyumi. Mom here yet?" Shote asks.
"Yeah she's already there," Natsuo says, moving slightly out of the way to let Shote through.
"Hey, Mom," Shote says as she gives a quick hug to her before looking down at the ground as tears start to well up in her eyes.
"It still doesn't get easier after all these years," Fuyumi says as she and Natsuo walk beside them and look down at the ground.
"No, it doesn't," Shote says as she lowers herself to the ground and places her hand on the tombstone.
"I miss you, Touya."
All Might quickly stands up and rushes towards the door, "Then we need to-"
"We can't," Nezu says. "That's the most infuriating part about all this, all we have is circumstantial evidence that even the most basic of criminal defense lawyers would be able to laugh us out of court. And that's not including the fact half our evidence can't be used."
"What do you mean?" All Might asks concerned.
"Unless you feel like revealing to the world that you sustained that injury all those years ago we have no technical evidence pointing to Izuku and Deku both knowing of your weakness. Before USJ Izuku was very clearly visible as the one calming the crowds down. There is evidence not only of Izuku killing a Nomu at Hosu but he came back with his arm clearly decayed by the leader of the LOV. Not only that but we technically have not a shred of physical evidence pointing to Izuku being the spy let alone Deku," Nezu says.
"So what we just sit here and let him go free," All Might says.
"Of course not don't be ridiculous," Nezu says. "We already got him to agree to be tested to see the maximum amount of his strength either here or at I Island. While we do that we do every test we can to determine if he's Deku. If it's done on I Island there is literally nothing that he can do to escape between having you and her there if it's done here we can have every member of the top 100 heroes we can muster around U.A. to make sure that he is captured," Nezu says.
"And why not just capture him now and wait to get the evidence," All Might says.
"Because unlike most other times we have done that we have a minimum of 5 highly respected heroes that will stand up for him and the entirety of the quirkless movement across the world already sees him as a symbol of change no matter what he becomes a martyr in this scenario," Nezu says.
"Who would stand up for him," All Might practically yells.
"For one Sir Nighteye he has clearly taken a fondness to him," Nezu says. "Endeavor would be another whether to try to atone for his past sins with his daughter or to try to get what looks to get a powerful ally on his side on his quest to become number 1. Mirko as well there are already talks that she will not only take him on as a part of the Hero Studies but also will start investigating what Izuku said at the tournament that day which we have so far not even released to the public. Between those three we have some of the most respected agencies in Japan arguing that this is unjust and the public may be stupid but they aren't that stupid and that's not even the worst part."
Nezu takes a sip of his drink before continuing, "If we do this we lose the support of our Western allies. You may be a symbol, All Might, but the world still hasn't changed much since before quirks began the NATO alliance is still there as well as the USA's honest attempts at making sure that there is less discrimination both in their country and abroad. We take him to jail not only will our public take offense to it theirs will as well and with her leading the charge in Washington I highly doubt that the USA and its allies will sit idly by while we arrest what many in their governments are saying is our one shot at getting the defense alliances open again."
"It can't be that bad," All Might says.
Nezu slams his hands on his desk and says, "We may not have told our public what Izuku said that day at the festival but they have it's only due to our strict media control that the news that unlike most of the first world, our quirkless are being bullied and killing themselves in droves haven't hit our public's ears yet. We do this without evidence we lose any hope they have left for us and we become all alone. Even if Star may come to your aid specifically she won't come to ours as a country and that means that China will have free reign over our region because even you can't defeat a nation of a billion quirk users All Might."
All Might sits still for a few seconds before muttering, "How much do they know?"
"The rest of the world has already heard it all," Nezu says. "Between reading lips and their ambassadors being there with their interpreters we lost the opinion war outside of Japan quite frankly I expect your trip to I Island will be filled with harsh words from most of the world's heroes."
"I don't make the rules," All Might starts.
"They don't know that. All they see is Japan's symbol of peace being indirectly responsible for the deaths of well over a million quirkless during his reign here," Nezu says. "It doesn't matter it's the HPSC making the rules you're the face of it we have no chance of winning this fight if we take this route."
All Might walks over, grabs a bottle from Nezu's shelf, and takes a swing from it, "Then for all our sakes let's hope all of this is wrong."
"So how have you been, Shote?" Fuyumi asks after the makeshift ceremony and their mother being led back into the mental hospital. "We haven't seen you since you left for U.A."
"It's been fine," Shote says. "The teachers aren't anywhere near as cruel as Endeavor and it's been nice making some friends."
"Anyone special," Natsuo snickers while leaning forward soliciting a kick in the shin from Fuyumi. "Ow! What can't an older brother be concerned for his little sis?"
"Come on you know it's impolite to… Shote are you okay?" Fuyumi trails off as she looks at Shote staring down blushing into her cup. "Holy shit, there is someone. I thought you were Aroace."
"Who is it? Is it that quirkless kid or that explosion guy?" Natsuo asks.
"NATSUO!" Fuyumi glares.
"What I'm just making sure it's someone I can actually beat up if they hurt Shote," Natsuo says.
Fuyumi kicks Natsuo again before saying. "You're a goddamn idiot sometimes. This is the first time Shote has ever had a crush on a guy and you're just-"
"It's not a guy," Shote mumbles as she continues blushing before realizing she said that out loud and rolling herself up into a ball.
"Well, now you have to tell us," Fuyumi says, her feud with Natsuo momentarily forgotten.
Shote blushes as she begins to talk about her crush with her siblings.
Laughter fills the air as Mina and Izuku walk through the mall toward another shop.
"I can't believe you said that," Izuku says in between fits of laughter.
"What? It was funny," Mina says.
"Yet so wildly inappropriate," Izuku says as they stop in front of their destination. "Okay seriously though, are you sure about this?"
"Of course," Mina says, leaning against Izuku. "You're my boyfriend and I want this to be special."
"Okay," Izuku says, kissing Mina on the lips causing them both to blush.
"I'll be out here till you're done," Izuku says with a smile on his face as Mina runs into Victoria's Secret.
A buzzing sound quickly draws Izuku's attention back to reality as he pulls out the phone from his pocket and answers it.
Izuku smiles as he says, "Hello, I was just about to call you I-"
"You're burned," Nana says causing Izuku's smile to quickly fade as a serious expression takes hold.
"Who," Izuku says quickly.
"Nezu and All Might," Nana says. "The bugs in their security system picked up their conversation."
"Fuck how long," Izuku says.
"They don't have enough hard evidence yet to justify your arrest given your stunt at the Sports Festival but they are planning on using the testing sites at either I Island or U.A. to confirm," Nana says.
"So I still have time," Izuku says as a slight smile returns.
"Not enough you need to abort," Nana says angrily.
"We already have a plan for I Island and we won't return to U.A. until after the camp we have enough time to upend their theory," Izuku says.
"… Are you sure this is how you want to play this?" Nana asks.
"Trust me. I got this. See you soon cuz," Izuku says. "Oh, one more thing I'll be home late tonight."
"Why's that?" Nana asks.
"I'll tell you later," Izuku says as Mina walks out with a bag. "Just trust me on this."
"Okay Izuku see you tonight," Nana says as the phone goes dead.
"Who was that?" Mina asks, leaning against him.
"My cousin," Izuku says. "Just telling her I won't be home tonight."
"You should have told her you won't be home tomorrow morning either," Mina says as they walk together toward the exit of the mall.

Deku's Quirks
Evaluate: Upon looking at a person or object, while the quirk is active, the user will see the target's weak points shown by a red glow. However, it can only be used on one opponent at a time.
Perception: allows the user to sense all of their surroundings and have perfect spatial awareness within a limited range (Now 100 meters/yards)
Memory Viewer: allows the user to see the memories of people they touch while the quirk is activated. However, if a memory is too painful it will cause the user to have a minor nosebleed and a migraine. It can only be activated once every 24 hours.
Deku's Gear:
2 custom swords: each capable of cutting through 10 inches of steel and has a variety of features that can be put into it including poisons and other fun things that I will come up with later
A variety of knives and flashbangs
Stun gun: 2 million volts per shock
Deployable cameras: Small cameras that stick to walls and other objects and are linked to the suit computer. They can see in infrared, normal, and ultraviolet light.
Deployable smoke emitter: small smoke emitters that can emit smoke for up to 1 hour
Various chemical mixtures created by Razor for different situations
Deku's Armor upgrades:
Boot Blades: 10-inch blades stored inside the boots of the armor that can be extended by flexing all the toes on either foot.
