Chapter 9-Attacking a camp
A week later
Raven's P.O.V
Raven slowly pulls herself out of bed and looks at Luna who was sleeping on her couch. "Raven, lay down," Luna says with her eyes still closed.
"No," Raven says. "I can't stay in this room anymore. I'm going crazy," Raven tells her. Luna sighs as she stands up and walks over to the girl.
"You're driving me crazy," Luna says. "You were stabbed, almost died, and your wound is still healing. It is getting better but it will only get better with rest."
"I need to get out of this room, even if it's just to throne room and back, please."
"Fine," Luna says. "But I am helping you."
Raven nods as Luna wraps her arms around the woman and they walk towards the door.
Murphy's P.O.V
Murphy and Wells sat at a table playing chest. "You lost again, Murphy."
"Of course, I lost," Murphy says. "Why did I agree to this?"
"Because I'm your best friend and you love me," Wells says with a smirk.
"That might change," Murphy says as Jasper and Monty walk up to them. "Thank God, please tell me you have something we can do that is fun."
"Nope," Jasper says. "Kane asked us to get you."
"Why?"
"No idea, just said get Wells and Murphy."
"Alright," Murphy says as the stand up and follow the two teens.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke, Lexa, Octavia, Lincoln, Anya, Jake, Indra, Gustus, and Anya's second Tris stand in a large room with a table eating breakfast. They look at the door as it opens, and Raven and Luna come in. "What is she doing out of bed?" Clarke asks Luna.
"She is driving me crazy, Clarke. It was either I bring her here or throw myself from her tower balcony," Luna says as she helps Raven sit down and she sits down beside her.
"I will go back to bed after I eat, please," Raven pleads.
"You can stay, Raven," Lexa says while looking at Clarke who slowly nods. "Mainly because I need Luna alive."
"Works for me," Raven says as Lincoln hands her a plate. "So what have you guys been up too?"
"Training, mainly," Clarke says. "Also being Lexa's servant."
"You are not a servant, Clarke," Lexa says with a frown. "You are my second, just because I ask you to get me what I need during meetings and while working, does not mean you are a servant," Lexa says.
"Kind of sounds like she is," Octavia says and Lexa glares at her.
"I have been training her, teaching her my people's way. She has also been talking with clan leaders and ambassadors. She has made an alliance with the Broadleaf clan, last night." Lexa says.
"What are we doing today?" Jake asks.
"We are still waiting for Raven to get better before we attack the clan less, village but that does not mean we will let them continue to do what the want. My scouts have found a small clanless camp, they are heading to the village. There are 30 warriors, from my scouts reports, there are 160 in the clanless village. We will be taking out a good few of them, So Jake, Anya, Indra, Clarke, Octavia, Lincoln and I will be taking out this camp with forty-five warriors."
"Let me guess, I need to rest," Raven says.
"See, you are a genius," Clarke says with a smile as they continue to eat.
Kane's P.O.V
Kane looked at Murphy, Wells, Aurora, Bellamy, Abby, Harper, Miller, Jasper, and Monty. "So, what is our problem?" Murphy asks.
"I don't think we have 8 months," Kane says.
"What do you mean?" Wells asks.
"I have been talking with Shumway, he has been looking into Octavia."
"So?" Monty asks.
"So, they are going to look into every person on the Ark and eventually they are going to notice that Aurora wasn't seen for months, that I kept visiting her," Kane says.
"So what are you saying?" Jasper asks.
"I'm moving up the plan," Kane says. "I will be kept updated, on their investigation, I have had something being worked on the last sixteen years by a friend, hopefully when it is time. It will work."
"What has he been working on?" Murphy asks.
"A dropship."
"A dropship? Where the hell is this at?" Wells asks.
"There is a room in farm station. The fans broke it in," Kane says. "My friend and his people are able to work in there, use oxygen that is used for spacewalk, that is why it has taken so long, they have to make sure that the no one notices. This ship, should be able to get us to the ground if we need it."
"So do we still get arrested?" Miller asks.
"Not yet, wait until I know more. There are over two thousand people on the Ark. It may take 8 months, but we have to be prepared. I'll be updated on the investigation," Kane says. "For now, wait on being arrested." Kane tells everyone who nods.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke was putting her armor on when there was a knock on the door. "Come in," Clarke says and Lexa opens the door and walks in. Lexa had her face paint on her and her armor. "So this is what the Commander looks like when she is ready for battle."
"Yes," Lexa says. "Are you ready for this, Clarke? This will be your first real fight, there will be more than one enemy, they will be fighting all around you and you must watch your surroundings. Do not leave my sight."
"I am not a child, Lexa. I've been training to fight for three months."
"I know you are not a child, Clarke. But you are my second, you will be a target because of that. I am a target because I am the Commander. You will be a target. So please stay close."
"Alright, I'll stay close."
Jake's P.O.V
Jake put his sword on his hip and looked at Indra as he came in the room. "Are you ready? We are about to leave," Indra says.
"I'm ready," Jake says.
"Are you? Jake you are a kind, a good man. I do not know many men with a pure heart like yours. Killing will never come easy to you."
"You're right, it won't. When that man I attacked me, I wasn't thinking about my life. I was thinking about Clarke, Raven, and Octavia. Those girls mean everything to me. That's why I'll kill. To keep them safe," Jake tells Indra. "If I have to die to keep them safe. Than I will."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that," Indra says. "Come on."
Octavia's P.O.V
Octavia looks at Lincoln as he walks into her room. "I was about to come out there," Octavia says.
"Good," Lincoln says. "Today will decide if you are a warrior, Octavia."
"I will be," Octavia says. "Come on, we have clanless to kill," Octavia says as she walks out of the room and Lincoln follows her. They walk through the tower until they reach the ground floor and walk up to their horses. They climb on the horses and leave for Polis.
Kane's P.O.V
Kane walks through farm station until he reaches a room. He looks around and sees nobody around and knocks on the door. The door opens and Sinclair looks at him. "One second," He says as he walks back in and comes back with an oxygen mask. He hands it to Kane. Kane puts it on and walks in.
"How are we doing?" Kane asks.
"Good," Sinclair says as he looks at Wick who was working on the fans. "Those should be working by the end of the day, no one will notice."
"How long until this will be ready?" Kane asks.
"Since I've had to add more room for our new friends. It will probably take another month," Sinclair says as he looks at the dropship. "Sixteen years of work, Kane. It will take us to the ground."
"Only if we need it," Kane says. "I do not want to use this unless absolutely necessary."
"I know," Sinclair says. "But it will be ready if you need it."
Kane nods as he stares at the dropship.
Raven's P.O.V
Raven stared at the ceiling. Luna had left an hour ago, and she was left lying in bed. She looks at the door as it opens and Luna walks in carrying a small crate. "What's in the crate?" Raven asks as Luna sets it down on the bed. Raven pulls herself up and looks in the box. It was filled with old technology. "Where did you get this?"
"I went to where we kept the old technology," Luna says. "I figured you could work on these, make whatever you can and maybe you'll drive me a little less crazy."
"Thank you, Luna," Raven says. "I will be able to make something with these parts."
"I am going to look at reports from Floukru. I'll be at your desk," Luna tells Raven who nods as Luna walks over to her desk.
No one's P.O.V
Clarke and Lexa stood by each other as they watched the clanless move around the camp. Behind them stood Indra and Jake. She looks at Anya as she comes over. "Are the others, ready?" Lexa asks Indra who nods. "Are you ready?" Lexa asks Clarke who nods. Lexa looks at an archer in the tree, and nods. The archer draws his bow back and fires. The arrow goes into a man's chest and the clanless camp is attacked from all sides. Clarke hits a sword away from her and swings her sword up cutting the man's chest. He falls to the ground as Lexa ducks under a swing and puts her sword through the man's stomach.
On the other side of camp Octavia rolls away from swing and cuts a man's leg off. The man falls to the ground screaming as Octavia stands up and puts her sword into his chest. Behind her Lincoln hits a sword away and cuts a man's head off before he swings his sword back and slashes a woman's throat open.
Jake stood with Indra as he hits away an ax and sliced a man's stomach open. His guts fall to the ground as he dies. He looks around as the clanless numbers begin to die and Lexa kills the last man. Everybody looked around as the fighting stopped. "We have won!" Lexa shouts and her men cheer.
Jaha's P.O.V
Jaha looked at the door as there was a knock. "Come in," Jaha says and Shumway walks in. "Is there a problem?"
"Yes sir," Shumway says. "I believe that Vice Chancellor Kane is up to something."
"How do you mean?"
"He has been having a lot of meetings with John Murphy, Aurora and Bellamy Blake. Nathan Miller, Harper Mclntrye, Jasper Jordan, Monty Greene, Abby Griffin and your son."
"I want guards watching Kane," Jaha tells Shumway who nods. "If you see any suspicious you tell me."
