Chapter 29-Azgeda

Nia's P.O.V

Nia looks around the giant room. "My queen," Nia looks over at her spy, Echo. "Echo, this is what happened to you," Nia says.

"What are you doing here, why aren't you in Azgeda?" Echo asks.

"Lexa and Roan," Nia says. "Roan captured Costia after she killed Titus and delivered her to Lexa and that bitch and my son led an army and attacked, they have taken Azgeda by now."

"What happened to Ontari?" Echo asks.

"She betrayed me," Nia says. "I ran, knowing that Lexa would win, and I was taken by these monsters. How are you still alive?"

"They only take the ones they believe are strong, if you act weak, string yourself down. They don't come after you," Echo says as she lays her back against the metal bars. "Welcome hell my queen."

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa, Roan, and Indra stood inside the war room inside of the palace. "You want me to allow Azgeda to move onto my lands?" Indra asks Lexa who nods. "Our people hate Azgeda, they always have."

"These people are not warriors, Indra. They are farmers, and children. People just trying to survive. They won't be able to do that here. Not after what we have done, they need somewhere that they can hunt more, find easier sources for water," Lexa says.

"I know what I am asking is a lot," Roan says making Indra look at him. "But I swear to you, when Azgeda is rebuild, built into the clan it is meant to be, we will repay Trikru," Roan says. "You have the biggest territory Indra, most clans hate my people more than Trikru."

"Do you have a plan to rebuild, Azgeda?" Indra asks Roan who nods.

"Yes, I will begin working on it once we return to Polis," Roan tells her. "I am asking you to give me a chance here, Indra. My mother destroyed Azgeda, made my people into monsters. We don't have to be, we can all be allies. The Coalition can finally become what it was meant to be," Roan says. "All we have to do is work together, all of us."

"I will be speaking with other clans about giving Trikru more during trade so you do not run out of food or resources," Lexa tells her. "But he is right, Indra. For this to work we all need to work together."

"Your people can move to Trikru."

Pike's P.O.V

The door to the cell opens and Pike looks up at Jaha walks into the cell. "I hope you have had time to think, Charles," Jaha says.

"I have," Pike says. "Your mission for revenge is going to destroy our people," Pike says.

"It is going to save our people, Charles," Jaha says as he bends down in front of him. "I am going to kill the traitors. The people who killed our brave soldiers, I'm going to save my son and I will have delivered our people to the ground, we will smell the fresh air, feel the wind in our face, see the leaves blow in the wind. Don't you want that Charles?"

"Of course I want that," Charles says. "We all want that. But hitting children, that is not the way to do this, we are the last of the human race, we must be better than those before us if we hope to make sure what has happened to us will never happen again," Charles says.

"She knows something, Charles. We need to know what she knows. We need to know everything about our enemies."

"I will not allow you to strip our people of their humanity on your quest for revenge," Charles says.

"You are not their leader and until you decide to join my side, you will remain in this cell," Jaha says before he leaves the cell leaving Pike in dark.

Octavia's P.O.V

Clarke pulls the bandage off of Octavia's eye. "How's it look?" Octavia asks.

"Kind of badass," Clarke says making Octavia chuckle. "It should heal fine. I'll make some medicine, help with the pain."

"Thank you," Octavia says as Clarke starts to put on a new bandage. "You ready to go home?"

"I would be lying if I said I was. Sure I will love sleeping in my own bed again but I do not want to see my mother."

"You know you'll have to forgive her at some time," Octavia says.

"Not anytime soon," Clarke says. "I can't, I just see her and I get so angry and I don't even think she feels guilty. I think she blames my Dad for what I have become."

"You haven't become anything, Clarke," Octavia says. "You're stronger, you're wiser, you're an amazing leader and fighter. You have an amazing girlfriend and the respect of the warriors and leaders."

"Thanks, Octavia," Clarke says. "You're not so bad yourself."

"I know, I'm pretty amazing."

"I see that Raven rubbed up on you when you were sleeping together," Clarke says.

"You're just jealous you didn't think of it first," Octavia says as Raven comes in. The two girls look at her and the smiles fall from their faces when they see the look on her face. "What's wrong?"

"I think Jake could use us."

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke, Octavia, and Raven walk into the palace and looked at Indra who was standing outside of the room that Jake was staying in. "He hasn't left," Indra says. "Yesterday, he was struggling with the child that he killed," Indra says.

"Thanks, Indra," Clarke says. Indra nods as she leaves. Clarke knocks on the door. "Dad open the door. It's your daughter, your…" Clarke pauses as she looks at Raven. "Your annoying adopted daughter and whatever Octavia is."

"Clarke, I'm okay," Jake says.

"Dad, you have ten seconds to open the door or we are going to break it down," Clarke tells him. After a couple of seconds Jake opens the door and looks at the girls. "See that was smart," Clarke says as they walk into the room. "God, I'm glad we landed in Trikru territory," Clarke says as she looks around. She looks at her Dad. "You did what you did during a battle. It was life or death."

"He was a child," Jake says. "There is no excuse."

"Dad, Lexa and I sent a man here with a virus that killed dozens. Children included. I suggested that we sent hundreds of warriors to their deaths. We have all done things during this war that took away a piece of our soul. We have to try and keep what we have left and keeping living for the people who died for us," Clarke says. "I know it won't be easy, but you have us and we'll be there for you. You're not alone," Clarke says as she hugs her father. Jake wraps his arms around his daughters as tears start to form in his eyes. Octavia and Raven join the the hug as they comfort Jake.

Murphy's P.O.V

Murphy walked into Costia's room after seeing the guard leave. "You're back," Costia says as she stands. Murphy nods as he pulls his bag off his back and holds pulls out the protistic arm. "I was expecting something, more advanced," Costia says.

"We will be able to make that for you, when you prove you are not going to kill anybody. For now this is what you get, when Lexa trusts you enough you'll be able to put a sword on it and fight," Murphy says. "Do we still have a deal?" Murphy asks as he holds the protistic out towards her. Costia looks at him for a moment before she takes the arm.

"Yes, we do," Cosita says as she sits down on the bed. "The Commander wants you and your people for a war."

"A war, against Mount Weather?" Murphy asks.

"Yes."

"What is inside of Mount Weather?"

"Mountain men," Costia says. "They have been taking our people for decades, and if our people are seen again, it is as a reaper, all they want to do is kill and eat us, they have taken thousands of us over the year. But like your people they are technology advanced. They have guns, a lock on their door, we cannot get in. We cannot defeat them, but your technology and your weapons, they are the key to ending Mount Weather, once and for all."

"Do, Clarke, Raven, Octavia, and Jake know about this."

"Yes," Costia says. "They stand with the Commander, I mean of course Clarke does. But so do the others, they are deadly loyal to her," Costia says with a smirk. "Thank you for the gift."

Murphy doesn't say anything as he turns and leaves the room.

Kane's P.O.V

Everybody gathered in Murphy's room as he shut and locked the door. "Why are we here, John?" Kane asks.

"I have been sneaking around," Murphy says. "I wanted to know why the Commander wanted a alliance with Skaikru, it would be easier to kill us."

"You just can't leave anything alone can you?" Bellamy asks Murphy who shakes his head.

"Did you find something out?" Abby asks.

"Yes," Murphy says.

"Who gave you your information?" Aurora asks.

"Costia," Murphy says.

Sinclair sighs but nods. "The arm, it was for Costia," Sinclair says and Murphy nods.

"The Commander wants us to fight her war, against the Mount men, a group of people who take and kill grounders, who fight like we do, they haven't been able to defeat them but with our help, she thinks we can. That is probably the pitch she used when she was convincing the Clan leaders to let us live."

"So she's using us?" Abby asks.

"I don't know, I do believe that she loves Clarke, Octavia, Raven and Jake. But after this is all said and done, who knows if we'll be safe," Murphy says. "We'll have to speak with her but like it or not, we don't really have a choice, so enjoy the next few months. When our people come down, we're going to war."

Nia's P.O.V

Nia looked at the door as it opened and a woman walked in. "That is the doctor, get back," Echo says as the doctor walks towards them.

"HEY!" Nia says making the woman look at her.

"You are a lively one," She says.

"Yes I am, I am a queen, but I can also help your leaders, I can help you defeat the grounders, kill their leaders. I have an offer for your leaders."

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa walks into the room they were staying in and looks at Clarke who was laying in bed. "How's your Dad?" Lexa asks.

"He'll be okay," Clarke says as Lexa takes her boots off. "Did Indra agree?"

"Yes, we will be leaving for Polis tomorrow. Roan has sent a rider to alert the remaining villages to pack. We're going home."

"Can't wait, I am looking forward to some peace and quiet."

Thanks for reading. Next chapter Nia meets Dante, Clarke does not return to peace and quiet and Lexa must talk with Skaikru. As always suggestions, ideas, and feedback are welcomed. Until next time.
