Chapter 31-Leaving the room

Nia's P.O.V

Nia looked at Dante as he stared at her. "I see you decided to bring in the savage," Nia turns around and looks at a younger man as he walks in.

"Be polite, Cage. This one may be smarter than the others," Dante says. "What is your name?"

"I am Nia," Nia answers. "I was the queen of Azgeda."

"Was?" Cage asks.

"The Commander drove me out with an army," Nia says. "I want her dead, I want her friends and loved ones dead, I want to lead the Coalition."

"Our people have been at war for decades, why work with us?" Dante asks.

"Because I have nothing, my son stands with that bitch. You want to win against the Commander, I know everything about your enemy, their weaknesses, strengths, I know where they are, I know everything you will need to know to win this war. I am offering to help you."

"What happens when we win, what do you want?" Cage asks.

"I want to lead, all I want is the throne and Lexa's head on a pike," Nia says.

"You have given me a lot to think about, right now you will be taken to a room and if I decide to work with you, we will speak, if not, well you will die," Dante says. "Take her," He says to the guards who nod as they leave the room with Nia.

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa walks into Costia's room and sees her laying in bed while Ontari sat on the couch. "Leave us," Lexa tells the nightblood who nods as she stands and leaves the room. "Nice arm," Lexa says.

"Thank you," Costia says. "A gift from my new friends."

Lexa nods. "As I'm sure, Ontari has told you, Nia ran, I have warriors out looking. The people of Azgeda have been given a second chance, are you going to take a second chance if I give you one?" Lexa asks Costia.

"What are my other choices, Lexa?" Costia asks.

"Live in this room for the rest of your life," Lexa tells her. "Or try to escape and die."

"I'll take your second chance, Lexa," Costia says.

Lexa nods. "Good, you can prove that you mean it."

"How do you want me to do that?" Costia asks as Lexa smirks.

"You're gonna help me train Skaikru," Lexa says and Costia stares at her.

"Are you serious?" Costia asks.

"Yes, be out at the training grounds in an hour," Lexa says before she leaves the room.

Jaha's P.O.V

Jaha looked at Diana as she walked into the control rooming. "Is Charles still in lock up?" Diana asks Jaha who nods.

"You know, you need a vice Chancellor," Diana tells him.

"I am well aware," Jaha tells her. "If Charles does not start to see the error of his ways, I'll have to find a new one," Jaha says. "Why are you here?"

"My people have a request," Diana says making Jaha look at her. "You are sending some of their children to the grounds in a couple of months, they would like time with their children."

"They are welcomed to visit them in the skybox," Jaha says.

"They want to see them on the outside," Diana says.

"Those children are in there for a reason," Jaha says.

"Jaha, the people of the Ark, they are divided. If you want your revenge, for the people of the Ark to stand together, untied, show them that you are willing to help them. You might be sending these kids to their deaths, don't you think their parents deserve some time with them?"

"I will think about it, Diana," Jaha tells the woman who nods as she leaves the control center.

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke looked at her door as there was a knock. "Come in," Clarke says and Murphy enters the room. "Come for some more information?" Clarke asks Murphy who smirks.

"No, I did come here to talk to you though," He says as he follows her out onto the balcony. "I know you don't like my methods, Clarke. But you and I want the same thing. We want to keep our people safe."

"We didn't tell anybody for a reason, John. I'm trying to protect everybody to and the best way to do that is to stand with the grounders."

"I agree," Murphy says making Clarke look at him. "I didn't do it because I wanted to start something, Clarke. I did it because we have to trust them and I knew you guys were hiding something. You want your people to trust you, Clarke. Be truthful with them, with us."

"Does that mean you're in? You're going to fight Mount Weather?" Clarke asks.

"Yeah, princess, I'm in."

Kane's P.O.V

Kane stood in his room with Aurora and Bellamy. "What are you thinking, Kane?" Bellamy asks.

"I'm thinking that we don't have much of a choice," Kane says as he looks at his girlfriend and Bellamy. "Octavia isn't going to back down from this fight. We won't abandon her."

"What about the people of the Ark?" Aurora asks making Kane look at her confused. "The Commander's whole plan is to use our weapons, our technology to match the Mountain's power. By now Jaha has made us seem like the enemy, they won't work with us, hell they're probably going to come down here and try and kill us."

"We have five months to figure out what to do about, Jaha," Kane says. "Right now we need to trust Octavia and Jake, they trust the grounders, we have to trust them too," Kane tells his family. "For now we'll continue training and learning their ways, and we'll talk with them about ways to deal with Jaha when he comes down."

"Alright, then I'm going to get to the training grounds," Bellamy says as he stands up and leaves the room.

"This is getting more and more complicated," Aurora says as she stands up and takes Kane's hand.

"We're going to figure it out," Kane says as he kisses her head. "We're going to have the life we wanted down here, with Octavia, and Bellamy and maybe another child someday."

"Ambitious," Aurora says with a smirk. "What will be the cost of that life, how many people are we going to have to kill to get that life."

"I don't know the answer to that," Kane says. "We do what we have to so we can survive and then we worry about living."

Jake's P.O.V

Jake sat on his couch and looked at the door as it opened and Abby came in. "What do you want?" Jake asks.

"I wanted to talk to you about Mount Weather," Abby says.

"I don't want to talk about that right now, Abby," Jake says as he stands up.

"Jake, this is putting our lives in danger, Clarke is in danger because she can't see the truth, we are being used."

"Abby, I don't have time for this," Jake growls.

"You need to make time, this woman is putting our daughter in danger, how can you just sit there in do nothing?' Abby asks.

"Because you are wrong!" Jake shouts at her. "You're wrong about all of it, Abby! About, Clarke, and Lexa and Mount Weather! I don't want to listen to you anymore! I don't care about what you have to say! I'm dealing with my own shit! I killed a fucking kid! I have to live with that! You don't know the hell I've been through! Now get the hell out of this room and leave me the hell alone!" Abby stares at him in shock for a moment before she leaves the room.

Raven's P.O.V

Raven sat in her workshop. "You know when most people finish a war, they decide to relax," Raven looks at the door to the workshop and smiles at Luna.

"You just want me to yourself."

"Damn right I do," Luna says as she walks up behind her and lays her hand on Raven's shoulder. "What are you doing?"

"Preparing for the fight to come," Raven says. "We know the Ark is coming down and once we can convince the people of the Ark to fight with us, we're going to fight Mount Weather."

"So how are you preparing for that?" Luna asks.

"I don't know how to fight Mount Weather, I don't know anything about their defenses or technology. But the Ark, they have guns, we need a way to defend ourselves and even the playing field," Raven says.

"How are we going to do that?" Luna asks.

"Bombs," Raven says with a smirk.

"Bombs?" Luna asks and Raven nods. "Okay, then I'll leave you to your bombs, I'm going to go check on reports from Floukru."

"Okay, can you ask Lexa and Clarke to come here, I wanna talk to them," Raven says to her girlfriend who nods as she leaves.

Costia's P.O.V

Costia walks out of the tower and looks around. "I see you decided to join us," Lexa says as she looks at her former girlfriend.

"Who am I training?" Costia asks and Lexa points at Harper.

"Harper, Costia will be teaching you to fight. Swords are over there," Lexa tells Costia who nods as she walks over to the swords and grabs one.

"Training swords, really?" Costia asks.

"I don't need you stabbing one of them in the chest," Lexa says as she looks at Murphy and Wells who were fighting with Clarke.

"Come on," Costia says as she goes to a ring and Harper follows her. Costia grips the sword with her left hand. "Try to attack me,"

Harper swings her sword at Costia who easily hits the sword and kicks Harper in the ground sending her on the ground. "You're predictable. You're not swining at me to kill me. Every swing you take, make sure it is with the intent to kill," Costia growls at the blond who slowly nods as she stands. "Again," She says as Luna comes outside.

"Clarke, Lexa, Raven wants to talk to you," Luna tells them and they nod.

"Lincoln, take over for me," Clarke says to the man who nods as they leave. Lexa stops by Anya and whispers something as they walk into the tower.

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa and Clarke walk into Raven's workshop. "I see you are making bombs," Clarke says. "Is that why you asked us to come in here?"

"No," Raven says. "Lexa, your blacksmiths, they're good, they make strong weapons. Have they ever tried to use the metal for armor."

"Armor?" Lexa asks.

"Chest plates," Clarke realizes. Raven nods.

"We need a way to deal with guns, they tear through our people. If we can make shields and armor made our of metal, strong metal, it might help at the very least stop them from being killed," Raven says and Lexa looks at Clarke who nods.

"Alright, Raven draw up some plans and I'll take them to a blacksmith," Lexa tells Raven who nods. "Good idea," She says before they leave.
