The following night, at Mount Middleton's ski lodge...
Kim knocks on the door to Ron's lodge room.
Ron answers the door.
At a whisper... Ron asks, "hey Kim. What's up?"
Kim brings up, "Ron... It's not even time for dinner. I came by to see if you're okay. I mean, you've been through a lot today. Why are you whispering?"
On the first part? She raises her eyebrow.
Ron answers, "Mr. Barkin is sleeping in the next room. He's been through a lot today too."
Kim somewhat nervously recalls, "ohh. Right. He also was kidnapped by DNAmy."
They both walk to the ski lounge lobby. They sit down on one of the dark red sofas.
Kim heavily sighs.
Before Ron can say something? Kim says something first.
With mixed feelings... Kim admits, "I'm honestly not sure whether to feel sorry for Amy or not. I know she deep down didn't want to be mean. But..."
Ron nods.
Ron mostly assures, "yeah. Say no more. I get it."
He puts a comforting hand on Kim's.
They bittersweetly smile to each other.
After a bit... Ron thinks out loud, "although... The crab dog was kind of cute. Has Amy ever made cuter monsters?"
Kim chuckles.
Kim concludes, "all right Ron. You helped me feel better. I'll ask Wade for you."
Soon... She asks Wade over the Kimmunicator if Amy made cuter monsters.
Wade very nervously says, "um... Kim? Ron? Trust me. I saw Amy's friend's video from her university days. And... You don't want to know."
Kim tries to lightly argue, "oh come on Wade! She was probably just doing her first non-people genetic experiment on her pets. If it was experimenting on people or on a kidnapped pet? She'd be arrested back in the day."
Ron figures, "yeah. If Kim says it's no big... How much worse can it really be than Rufus and Mr. Barkin almost being stuck as a fused together mutant?"
Wade concludes, "okay. I'll show you both the video. But... Nervous gulp. Don't say I didn't warn you."
Kim and Ron look somewhat nervous to each other.
The Kimmunicator screen changes to a camera recording at a mostly white house. The time stamp on the recording shows it was taken a year ago.
On the camera recording...
DNAmy is in a green dress. She is wearing a mostly pink college backpack with a Otterfly sticking out of one of the zippers.
With a wide smile... DNAmy explains, "well Shana... You wanted me to do whatever it takes to cure your dog Rose of her sickness. So... I gave her the best DNA to fight all diseases on Earth. Say hello to your DNA improved dog!"
Booming growls are heard. Birds are flying away in a hurry.
Presently...
Kim and Ron look horrified at the camera recording.
Kim shakily murmurs, "oh...my god! !"
A scream. Hurried footsteps are heard.
With mixed feelings... DNAmy called out, "heel Rose! Heel! She's your mommy. Don't keep scaring your mommy. Please! !"
Ron shakily calls out, "a crocodile dog?! That is so sick and wrong! ! Channel block! ! Channel block! !"
Wade quickly turns off the video. The Kimmunicator screen changes back to him.
Kim and Ron look very nervous toward Wade. None of them are getting much sleep tonight.
