Embarrassment was sitting on one of the couches that was near the console. He was writing a love note for Sadness. He was writing it to tell her how he felt about her.

Sadness,
I do know that I'm not big on talking much, but I want to tell you that I care about you. When I first came to Headquarters and saw you for the first time, I felt like you were the one for me.

He was planning to give it to her that night. He folded it and placed it in the pocket of his hoodie.
Later that night…
Sadness and Embarrassment were sitting in the Mind Manual area, side by side. Embarrassment couldn't help but stare at her.
When Sadness sensed that Embarrassment was staring at her, she turned her head to look at him and when she saw that he was lovingly staring at her, she started to wonder what he was thinking about.
He then believed that this was a perfect moment to give her the note that he had written for her earlier. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the note. He also gathered up his courage to talk to her.
"I have something for you." Embarrassment told Sadness as he handed her the note.
Sadness gently took the folded piece of paper and she started to carefully unfold it. As she read the note, Embarrassment was getting a bit nervous about how she was going to react after she finished.
Finally, Sadness finished reading the note.
She looked up at Embarrassment with a smile on her face and her eyes were starting to form tears.
She then hugged him and told him "I love you."
He smiled and hugged her back, saying "I love you, too."
As this moment unfolded, the other emotions were watching and they thought to themselves that Sadness and Embarrassment were so sweet together. They also didn't want to ruin the moment, so they just stayed as quiet as they possibly could.
