A/N Just assume the Source is doing evil Source things while the Charmed Ones and their group are living their lives and occasionally destroying demons and protecting innocents. He will of course eventually attack the group directly armed with the knowledge his Seers are working to provide him with.

In the meantime, as I've said before Cordelia is not Paige, but both Paige and Phoebe had an evil past life, although Phoebe may not have actually been evil, just brainwashed. In Paige's evil past life she used Magic to try to seduce a Prince so she could get pregnant and take over his kingdom. But the idea of an evil life is still a fun one to explore. And no, Cordelia was not evil on Angel, she was bodyjacked and manipulated by Jasmine. Totally different.

So Cordelia's going to get to see her own past evil life and she doesn't and never needed to use Magic to seduce Xander. Which means there's an evil Xander showing up too. 😮

Cordelia rubbed her head as she stared blearily at her morning cup of coffee, she never had been a morning person but the last few days were making her wonder if she shouldn't just stay in bed. Or avoid sleep for awhile instead.

"You want to talk about it?" Xander asked as he served breakfast.

"Talk about what?" Cordelia muttered into her coffee cup.

"What's made you so tense the last few days."

"A weird dream." She answered, trying to eat but not having much of an appetite. "I can't remember it and it's bugging me. I'm sure it's the same dream each time and my gods does it feel real while I'm having it, but I can't remember anything from it. Except a feeling."

"A feeling."

"That I'm enjoying doing something, something that when I wake up makes me feel scared. I don't like the fact that I'm enjoying whatever I'm enjoying in my dream."

"Maybe it's a premonition. Up until now your witch powers have worked the same way Phoebe's do, waking premonitions and visions when you touch something. But you're half whitelighter and that could affect how your premonitions advance."

"You don't think it's just a dream?"

"If it was a one time dream I'd probably say it was just a dream, but this is like the third night in a row that you've had this supposedly same dream and it's making you feel the same way each time. That's more than a coincidence, Honey. Brainstorming with the others might help us understand it."

"You might be right, it feels important, the way the premonition I had of you dying when we were stuck in that time loop had a massive deja vu feeling attached to it. There's some precedent regarding feelings and premonitions for me and ignoring it could be a bad idea. Alright, let's call a brainstorming session. The timing is lousy, Mom's only a few months away from delivery and it's mostly been quiet since the Source sicced his assassin on my sisters and she's going to insist on being a part of a brainstorming session."

"If only as a means of distracting your father. I wonder if I'll be that freaked when we decide we're ready for kids."

Cordelia laughed. "Xander, you're probably going to want to wrap me in bubble wrap to keep me safe and I'm going to be tempted to set you on fire to get you to back off. You've got admit, pregnancy for us techno vamps is a lot different than a normal human." She sobered. "Willow said the nanites act like the baby's a problem, the extra blood helps distract them. But I guess they view the allowing changes to the mother's body as a violation of their primary directive, keeping their hosts body at it's optimum peak. That's scary."

"Yeah, it is. Which is why Charles is so freaked, until she safely delivers, he's not going to relax. None of us are." He held her hand, offering silent support as they both worried about her mother pioneering the first pregnancy and baby born to their race.

Later after everyone was gathered Cordelia explained her dreams and the feelings the others began tossing out ideas.

"It might be an attack." Prue suggested. "I was once attacked in my dreams by a human who called himself the Dream Sorcerer. I managed to use my power even in my dream and killed him in the dream, which killed him in real life. He was actually human and no Magic was involved in what he did, he was a scientist."

"Science helped him find a way into your dreams?" Cordelia shuddered. "That's scary. But Magic could do that too, give someone access to a dream, so both are possibilities to explore."

"Maybe it's a past life trying to warn you, like mine was." Phoebe offered. "Or a curse, that's a possibility too."

"Maybe we need a spell to help us find a clue." Piper suggested. "We used a spell to help Prue gain control over her dream and Phoebe used a past life spell to get a glimpse of the past life that was haunting her. Maybe a general purpose spell to point us in a direction of investigation."

"Let's start with that." Cordelia agreed. "It could always be what Xander suggested originally, an advancement of my premonition ability."

"And still I'm the only one who's powers haven't advanced." Piper muttered as they began working out a spell to point them in a direction of investigation.

send a sign to free our sister's mind

one that will lead her to her truth.'

Maybe they should have just ignored the dreams, they might have slept easier given what the spell ended up revealing.
