A/N Good guesses on where the baby ended up, but so far no one's actually guessed it. But they will find their daughter, eventually.

We haven't seen much of Cole since he became human and I absolutely hated what happened to his character. The being possessed by the Source arc and him coming back to life. Repeatedly. So, he's not going to end up that way in my story.

The Source's cave deep in the Underworld. The Source, a heavily scarred demon, watched the Seer, who's eyes are white as she looks into the future. They returned to normal.

"Well? What did you see?" He asked impatiently.

"I saw your demise."

"My demise? That cannot be." He refused to accept what she was saying.

"You know how powerful my visions are. More so even than the Oracle's were and more accurate."

"You mean to tell me that with all the powers at my disposal, all I've learned about them, in the end I still lose? How is that possible?"

"The Charmed Ones' power must simply be greater than yours. I mean no disrespect. I only speak of what I see."

"Then the only way to change what you see is to obtain more power, the ultimate power."

"But that's forbidden. The Hollow has been banished for all eternity, if you unleash it, we all could die."

"If I don't prevail what difference does it make?!"

"There must be another way." She protested, desperate to make him see, this was insane.

"No! With the Hollow I will render the witches powerless. Then I will destroy them. Even if it means destroying us all." He flamed out, his method of teleporting, leaving a very frightened Seer behind frantically trying to think up a way out of this situation.

"Mom's days away from delivering my little brother or sister." Cordelia took a fruit from the bowl on the dining table in the Manor. "And she still refuses to tell us whether the baby is a girl or boy. We already know us Warren witches only have girls, it's been that way for centuries, which is why a little brother would be nice."

Before Piper can answer Phoebe and Cole barged in the front door. "Piper! We did it!"

"Did what?" She grabbed an apple herself.

"Cole and I think we've finally come up with a vanquishing spell for the Source." Phoebe explained. "We were thinking about how to counter all the powers he has, you know, mostly stolen from other demons and he's had centuries to build his power and we were like, as strong as we are, can we really counter centuries of accumulated power? Maybe not by ourselves, but...if we call on three hundred plus years of Warren witches, we just might have enough. Or it might be overkill, but this is the Source we're talking about here."

"Xander's Soldier Boy would say, there's no such thing as overkill, just enough kill."

"Exactly." Cole nodded. "The best way to deal with the Source is to overwhelm him and not give him a chance to counterattack himself."

They continue to discuss the spell and the Source as the Source prepared his own means of attacking them.

In a building in an ancient and long abandoned burial ground two beings aere playing chess. One, a woman, is wearing a white robe and the other, a man, is wearing a black robe. The one wearing a white robe is floating and appeared to be meditating, the other paced impatiently. "Make a damned move." He growled, gods he was bored, they'd been here for centuries. Literally.

"You're just mad because Good is winning." The woman said serenely.

"No, just bored, standing here watching you think."

"A-a-ah. Patience is a virtue."

"Oh, I've been plenty patient. Three thousand, five hundred years patient. Give or take a few decades."

"Hmm." She pointed her finger at the board and a piece moved to another square. "There, happy now?"

He moved his own piece and smashed one of hers to pieces, causing her to frown disapprovingly. "Now who's winning?" He gloated.

The Source flamed in and the woman moved to stand next to the man.

"You need to leave immediately." She informed him. "It is forbidden to be here."

"I know that. Thank you." The Source answered politely

"With all do respect, you are not allowed to be here." The man insisted.

"Have you forgotten who I am? Whose side you're on?" The Source demanded.

"There are no sides here." The woman insisted. "We protect all Magic. That was the agreement."

The Source threw a fireball at her and vanquished her.

"The agreement's just been revoked." The Source retorted.

"Die!" The man screamed as he attacked after seeing his only companion for thousands of years die. When his attack proved fruitless, he tried to reason with the Source instead. "Please. The Hollow is a threat to us all. Its power is too great. It should never have been created!"

"That's exactly the kind of power I need." The Source threw the man across the room and moved toward the chamber the two had been guarding.

"No, please don't. The Hollow consumes powers!" The man begged as the Source brought the box he found inside the chamber over to the man and opened it. The man screamed as the contents rushed into him, possessing him.

"Now you'll be able to consume powers. And give them to me. Go to the Charmed Ones, bring me their powers!" Before filling the man in on everything he knew about the Charmed Ones and their powers and defenses.

Cole and Phoebe were just leaving the Manor when the man appeared in front of them, he flung Phoebe aside and she smashed into the door and through it. Cole, ignored by the man and taking a page from Xander's book, shot him. The vanquishing revealed something strange as a black, buzzing... something survived the vanquish and disappeared as Cole called for Cordelia to help Phoebe.

The Source had just begun and had no intention of stopping until they were all dead.
