In the year 2012 of the L.D.M.V. Calendar. It has been 2012 years since a war hero has ensured peace between the twin planets of Mu and Bacula. Empress Sheeta Mu Terredis has been ruling as a kind and compassionate ruler of Planet Mu, having inherited her title from her mother; the previous empress as it is tradition for women to rule the planet. However, on Planet Bacula, the Galden Tribe had been waging a war on its own planet for decades in order to attain power. Its leader, Krencer, had been laying waste to countless cities and turned those who survive into genetically altered slaves in order to show the growing might of his tribe while indoctrinating the stronger children into his personal soldiers. Prince Venus Terredis, Sheeta's older brother, fought years ago in order to escort his fiance; Marsha Bacula who is the crown princess of Bacula; to the most secure zone of Planet Mu while her parents; the emperor and empress of Bacula; fought to ensure the safety of their remaining children as they are escorted to planets outside of Mu and Bacula.

Eventually, the empress of Bacula fled with the remaining bulk of her people to Bacula while her husband; the Bacullan Emperor, died in battle when the tribal king Krencer shot him to death and claimed the throne of Bacula for himself. Renaming his tribe the Galden empire, Krencer spent the next several years preparing to mount a conquest against Planet Mu. Several decades ago, his former concubine; Seraphia, found herself engaged to the tribal king in an attempt to spare her village from the slaughter of his tribe. The moment she found that her king was raising their oldest son to be a weapon for evil by having him raze his mother's village to the ground, she proceeded to flee with her remaining kids and other survivors of her village with the aid of the Baculan royal army to Planet Mu in order to protect her young children from their father's influence. Once she arrived on Bacula, she; now known as Myra Canna; worked to become the royal nursemaid of the then-crown princess Sheeta and send her younglings to be educated in the laws and ways of Mu's royal guard, one of her younger sons; Rio Canna; found himself becoming close friends with the young Sheeta where they had played princess and knight together.

A couple decades have passed, Krencer has desired more power than ever, and he commanded his army to lead an attack on Planet Mu with Gerthememi; Sheeta's mother and the previous empress; leading the charge into battle to try and fight back the Galden Empire, having left her headdress behind for her daughter, with her son Venus aiding her. While they managed to destroy most of Krencer's forces, Krencer gets the last laugh by shooting down Gerthememi's space fighter with her son pursuing the down craft where he finds his mother having been gravely injured by the explosion where she gives the last of her strength to ask her son to stop the Galden Tribe from wreaking further havoc on Mu; as it already had destroyed several dozen of cities on Mu far from the planet's royal capital and claimed millions of lives; and protect his remaining family.

The worst came to pass one year, as Empress Sheeta, with her younger brother Meron, at her side, was tending to a conference between her people and the representatives of the Bacula refuges when the Galden empire was miles away from attacking the outskirts of Mu's capital which prompted her to order her nursemaid Myra to retreat with her brother and princess Marsha for the sake of their safety where the three reach a hidden bunker where dozens of transforming fighting vehicles were being constructed as one of the last stands against the Galden Empire while the survivors or Mu's destroyed cities hid inside bunkers following the ruination of their cities.

Eventually, when the Galden Tribe arrived, they cornered the young Empress and summoned a flying saucer to capture her in order to bring her before Krencer as a concubine for his oldest son Xiphos in order for his father to cement his control over Planet Mu. When Prince Venus found out about his sister's kidnapping, he must take up arms with her childhood friend Rio in order to form their team; Last Duel; as they must ride two of the transforming fighting vehicles from Mu's royal guard to destroy the Galden Empire, save Sheeta, and liberate both planets from the control of Rio's power mad father Krencer.

Alright, this is pretty much the opening for a fanfic I based on one of Capcom's arcade games which is lacking in lore and character which I seek to expand here. There are also changes from the game as well. Time to post some character bios for this version of the story.

Empress Sheeta Mu Terredis: The young and beautiful succeeding empress of Mu who inherited the ruling title from her mother as it is tradition for Planet Mu to be ruled by women. While she did receive training in self-defense from her nursemaid, she never had the foresight to bring a weapon with her before the Galden Empire raided the planet which gave some of Krencer's armed forces a chance to snatch her and force her to be a concubine for the indoctrinated Xiphos against her will.

* In the game, she was called a queen, but I think the title empress suits her better as she is the ruler of an entire planet. I also made expansions regarding her. Which includes having known the protagonists at a young age and a full name as well as giving her siblings.

Rio Canna: A young handsome man who spent a couple decades as a trainee for Mu's royal guard after his mother retreated with him from the Galden Tribe with him and his remaining siblings after seeing what power mad goals his father and leader of the tribe had. Having been adopted by the Canna family of nobles on Mu, he has come to see its patriarch as a father figure despite having been adopted, a feeling Lord Canna felt mutual. He also had been friends with Sheeta at a young age when she was still a princess, playing with her under the supervision of his mother who had earned her status as the nursemaid. Decades later, he partners up with her (Sheeta's) brother Prince Venus in order to lead a strike against the Galden when they kidnap Empress Sheeta. The hard truth is that eventually, Rio must help defeat his real father once and for all in order to stop the war. He is part of the main duo alongside the prince, riding a red combat vehicle into combat to destroy the Galden Tribe.

* In the game, the driver of the red vehicle was unnamed and dressed in green. However, in my story, he will be dressed in red, and I named him Rio Canna which is derived from an oil said to be one way to fight cancer. I also gave him a backstory where he had been friends with Sheeta from a young age and was born a prince in the Galden Tribe where his mother had to retreat with him and his remaining siblings due to his father's twisted goals that lead to him indoctrinating Rio's older brother into evil.

Prince Venus Terredis: The older brother of Empress Sheeta. Due to the traditions of Planet Mu, he was never made an heir to the throne, but his mother did promise he can rule in another realm if he falls in love with and marries a princess native to it. He holds a love-hate attitude with Rio Canna due to the latter having been friends with his younger sister from a young age but respects her Nursemaid's wishes for no fighting to break out between the two boys. Deciding to train in the royal military, he gradually gained more respect for Rio as the prince came closer to being a good soldier in addition to his princehood. Eventually when the two went separate ways due to the prince being called to war, he fell in love with Marsha who is the crown princess of Bacula as he helped those who were not yet either killed or enslaved by the Galden retreat to find shelter on Mu. After his mother dies in battle against the Galden and his sister gets abducted, the prince must set aside his differences with Rio in order for them to form their team "Last Duel" and lead a two-man strike against the Galden. He pilots the royal blue transforming vehicle where he primarilly opts to take to the sky during ground battles and aid his potential brother-in-law against the attacking forces from Galden.

* I do not remember seeing the pilot of the player two vehicle being outside his craft. But I decided to make its pilot into a prince and older brother to Sheeta even though they have had no known relation in the game. Him taking to the sky to aid her lover when he attacks Galden Forces at the ground is a nod to the gameplay style where one player can fight in roadster mode while the other fights in plane mode. Oh, in real life, there were princes who joined the military.

* I originally intended to have Mu as part of his middle name, but I decided it would be exclusive to females of his family line.
