Chapter 6: Day 1 - An Unexpected Surprise

The gang was talking with the well-known Billionaire about his life and everything else.
Kara nodded and replied, "That is really cool. Your family started the business many years ago and now you run with your father and mother as well? That is really cool."
He nodded and replied, "It's a dream come true for me and did you know my parents are my adopted parents as well?"
The ladies looked closely at him and he nodded and replied, "I haven't mentioned this at all, but my father Patrick and my mom Jean are my adopted parents. My real parents gave me up when I was only a year old."
Bailey sighed and replied, "That's rough and to do so when your only a year old? That is hard to get around."
"I've done okay since then. My parents are the most well known and loved people around Seattle and they've taken good care of me since I was a baby. I have a younger sister Noami and a older brother named Dennis as well and we get along really well."
Bailey nodded and then replied, "That's always good to hear your adopted brother and sisters treat you like if you were born into their family, Christian. Love and family will always prevail. Why did you want to enter this tournament anyway."
He smiled and replied, "I was waiting for that question."
He took a sip of a bottle of Diet Coke he bought and resumed, "Ever since I was old enough to do so, I wanted to enter Duel Monsters to become the best duelist with our family and company and I told my parents that I wanted to be a duelist and they supported me and wanted me to become a better and stronger duelist as best as I can. After I graduated College, I become a 15% owner of White Industries and I've loved it ever since. I became the best duelist in our company and I entered the Washington State Tournament held at the home of the Seattle Seahawks and my deck won it all for me as well. I was asked to enter the USA Grand Tournament, but I declined the offer because I wasn't ready to enter such a amazing tournament and I wanted to enter this one instead."
Kara nodded and replied, "A while after I won my tournament, I got a call for the same thing to show a tournament how the champion of Florida how my state duels and I turned it down as well. A State Championship was good enough for me and I'm glad I made that decision."
Maddie sighed and replied, "I wanted to be asked to represent the country, but they never called me to ask me to do so and gave it to a rich snob that won a smaller tournament in Montgomery. my home states capital city. No big deal anymore because I was asked to this tournament instead and I glad I was."
Bailey nodded and replied, "I was asked after I won my state champion as well and I wanted to be a part of this tournamnet I can't wait to show the world How unique it really is."
Christian then replied, "I really hope you all make it to the finals in this wonderful tournament. I want to give you three something."
He went into his pocket and gave the ladies each a red card and he smiled and replied, "For allowing me to spend time with you nice and fine ladies, I'm inviting you all to a special dinner at the Grand Sirloin tomorrow night and I'm paying for it with my own money and not the cash cards they gave us earlier. Dress nice or in your normal clothes and I'll see you tomorrow night."
Bailey smiled and replied, "Thank you so much for this, Christian. We are looking forward to this amazing dinner."
Maddie then replied, "I love steakhouses and this place sounds amazing. Thank you."
"No trouble at all ladies. I'll chat with you all here tonight. I need to make a quick call in my room."
They all smiled back at him as they all got up and they shook his hand and all left and he sighed and replied, "Such nice people they are."
As he continued to finish his drink, a tall black-haired guy with a small notebook was writing something down and he smiled evily and replied, "Your taking three ladies for dinner and you let out that secret the world doesn't even know about yet, either? I can't wait to reveal this when I get out of this tournament and back home."
He got and quickly left without Christian knowing he was there as well.

Back at the HQ of the island, the tournament leaders were watching through duelists and their stats so far.
Maxwell nodded and replied, "The most a duelist has is 5 star chips and no Eliminator duels so far this tournament. This is turning out to be a unique tournament so far."
Skylar nodded and replied, "It really is, Max. How's you son doing?"
He sighed and replied, "He lost his last duel and is down to 3 star chips. He's not giving up and he's not going to stop until he wins more and more."
"I heard the ladies are doing well with each have about 3 to 4 chips as well."
"I saw that as well. 24 have been eliminated as well and they were decent duelists as well. It'll be our 2nd day and everything is going well."
"That is good."
She yawned and then replied, "Night, Maxwell. I'm heading to sleep now. It's been a long day for us."
He smiled as she got up and left and he nodded and replied, "What a day it has been."

That night his penthouse hotel room, Christian was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans and on his laptop and he was checking with his families business.
He nodded and replied, "I have the most amazing family of them all."
He pushed a few buttons and it said DIALING ANNA CHARLASON and he smiled and replied, "Hope your up, boo."
The screen went up and Christian only smiled as he saw who it was. She was a beautiful woman wearing a red night gown with arms covered in sleeves of heart, flower and star tattoos and two red roses tattooed on both sides of her neck and she had the words SEATTLE QUEEN tattooed in big black letters on her chest with small white and red hearts surrounding the words as well and she smiled and replied, "Hey, baby."
Christian smiled and replied, "Hey, Anna. How are things back home?"
"Really well, my dear. The family is doing really good and we can't wait to see you kick some serious butt in this tournament."
"I know, babe. I know. I've only been in a single duel and it was too easy of a win as well. I Can't wait to get back home and see you all again. I love and miss you, babe."
"I love and miss you too, honey. Win or lose, your our hero and champion. I'll let your family know how your doing so far. I now have to get going and meet a friend for a girls night out, so I'll talk to you later and love and miss you a lot right now."
He nodded and she blew him a kiss and he did the same before the screen went white and it said CALL ENDED and then he closed up his laptop and he nodded and replied, "I'm so glad to be in this tournament and I can hopefully win more duels before this tournament even ends. I think I'll head out now and meet with the ladies."

It was now 7:30 that night and after they each showered and got their decks and had dinner at their hotels, the ladies met Christian for some coffee at the coffee place of
Maddie's hotel. This was the first time that Christian was inside of this hotel and his hotel had no coffee bar and only had a large restauraunt and small nightclub as well. He wanted a decent cup of coffee and maybe a quick pastry as well.
He sipped his large Mocha Black and he sighed and replied, "My god, this is so good. Thanks for telling me about this place, Maddie."
She nodded and replied, "Anything for a new friend of ours, Christian."
"i'm glad you all consider me a friend and I'm glad to be friends with you four amazing people as well. I can't wait to see what the days will bring this crazy tournament and for us as well."
"Well, if it ain't the master Christian White.", a voice said behind them and they all turned around and saw a guy wearing a grey suit and a large white hat and mask and
Christian looked puzzled and replied, "Who the heck are you?"
The masked guy laughed and he tore his mask and hat off and there was a bald guy with a small goatee and glasses and he groaned and replied, "Sly Guy, we meet again."
The girls looked puzzled and Christian sighed and replied, "This guy is named Sylvester Kingston or Sly Guy of the Sly Guy Gazette from about 3 miles away from my family's company. He's been wanting to get some bad rumored gossip about me for the last 3 years and has failed as well."
He nodded and resumed, "I already know something about you since you got here, buddy."
Christian looked at him closely and he smiled evily and replied, "I see these ladies are your new friends I see."
"So what, Sly?"
"Your girlfriend Anna would love to hear about this and I know the world doesn't know yet your adopted as well and I'll reveal the world that when I get back home."
Bailey looked at him and replied, "That's really damn low of you, buddy. We're only friends of him and nothing else! You have no right to ruin his life or ours even!"
Maddie nodded and replied, "I have a girlfriend of my own right now and I don't need this kind of crap from anyone and that includes you!"
The reporter smiled and replied, "Whatever you say, ladies. THis is between me and Christian and it may ruin your lives, but I want to ruin his even more!"
Christian only sighed as he got up and replied, "You are nothing but slime, Sly. I have something to ask."
He held up his duel disk arm and replied, "We have a duel outside inside the park and if you win, you can send your notebook in and if I win, you give your notebook to me and leave me and my friends alone for the rest of this tournament! I won't let you ruin the good life I have right now and I want to end this before it gets worse!"
He smiled and replied, "A chance to duel you and humilate you in front of a large crowd. I can't say no to that! Your own. Come and get if you dare!"
He laughed and left and then Christian sighed and replied, "I Can't wait to crush that idiot in front of everyone."
He looked back at the ladies and replied, "I'm sorry you got dragged into his lies as well. I'll make it up to you all soon enough."
Maddie sighed and then she nodded and resumed, "Take this loser out and that'll be enough for us, Christian."
He nodded as they finished up their coffee drinks.

A while later, most duelists were watching as the two duelists were waiting to watch the guys duel. No one knew about this, but Maxwell sent a undercover cop and he was in disguise as duelist from 2 rows behind the owner of the coffee ship informed him about what was going and he wanted to make sure this guy wouldn't try to do anything else during the duel. For being that late at night, people wanted to watch Christian White in a duel for themselves."
Sly Guy smiled and replied, "I've been waiting for this day for a long time now. What's the bet?"
"I'm about to tell you. How many star chips do you have right now?"
He held up his gauntlet and resumed, "4 of them earned well and you?"
He raised his hand and there were 2 of them and he nodded and replied, "I'll bet two star chips to shut you and your lies up and if you win this match against me, I'll be eliminated from the tournament."
He laughed and replied, "Your giving me the chance to eliminate you from this tournament? This is getting better and better for me! I accept your final wager!"
He nodded and both duelists activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards and Kara then replied, "Christian, you got this. Clobber this jerk for trying to humilate you and your family's name."
Christian nodded and he faced his opponent and he resumed, "Ready for this, Sly?"
"Born ready to take you down, White!"
"Game on!", both yelled out.

Sly Guy smiled and replied, "I'll let you go first as well, White."
He sighed and he looked at his hand and resumed, "I'll set a monster and that'll be it for me."
He drew a card and replied, "Lame opener I see. I summon my Two-Headed King Rex!"
He played the card and a large two-headed dinosaur appeared with a deep and powerful roar (ATK: 1,600).
"Smash his facedown monster!"
It let out a huge powerful roar and a Fiend Kraken appeared on the card (DEF: 1,400) and the roar slammed into it and blew the Aqua to little bits.
"Classic monsters won't save you in this duel, White. I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Great Blue Marlin."
She played the card and a large blue-skinned marlin appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I attack your monster."
The large fish went in and pecked at his dinosaur and blew it to little bits (Sly Guy LP: 8000 - 7700).
"I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "You and I are were and never will be friends, wise guy. I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that's all for me."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll summon my Space Mambo."
He played its card and a large alien-like fish with glowing blue skin (ATK: 1,700) and he resumed, "I now activate my Bubble Storm."
The spell appeared.
"Now when a Level 4 or lower Water monster I control attacks and destroys a monster in battle, you take 300 more damage. I attack with my Marlin first,"
The stronger fish quickly swam in and a Trakadon appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) and the fish struck it down with its large nose and blew it to minute shards and then more of the attack struck him down (Sly Guy LP: 7700 - 7400) and then Sly groaned and resumed, "I activate my Soul Ressurction."
The trap flipped up and the same dinosaur appeared (DEF: 1,000) and Christian nodded and pointed as a small burst of bubbles shot out and struck down his dinosaur and blew it to pieces as well (Sly Guy LP: 7400 - 7100).
"Your turn now, Sly Guy."
He drew a card and resumed, "I activate my Unexpected Dai to get out my Sabersaurus and I'll also summon my GIant Rex."
He played the card and the large triceratops appeard (ATK: 1,900) and a larger sized dinosaur appeared (ATK: 2,000) and she opened her field slot and resumed, "I activate my Jurassic World!"
He slid the card into the slot and the ancient jungle formed all over the field as many other people wanted to watch Christian White in a duel as well and then both of his dinosaurs began to glow (ATK: 1,900 - 2,200) - (ATK: 2,000 - 2,300).
"I attack your Hunter Dragon with my Mambo!"
It quickly rushed and he smiled and resumed, "I chain that with my Dinostamp!"
The spell appeared and his Bubble Storm card shattered to pieces (ATK: 1,600 - 1,300) and the dinosaur grabbed the large Fish with its teeth and tore it cleanly in half with
the remains dissolving quickly before his Sabersaurus quickly rushed in and rammed into his marlin and smashed it into shards (Christian LP: 8000 - 7100) and he laughed and resumed, I'm taking down the great Christian White and it feels pretty damn good! Your move now, noob."
He sighed and drew a card and resumed, "I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that's all for me."
He drew a card and resumed, "Sabersaurus, attack!"
It quickly rushed in and a large turtle with a small island-like shell appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and Christian nodded and resumed, "I activate my Dust Tornado."
The storm began and it flew in and tore through his jungle and returned him back to the streets area (ATK: 2,200 - 1,900) - (ATK: 2,300 - 2,000) as it rammed into and did nothing to the calm and large turtle (Sly Guy LP: 7100 - 7000).
"Your starting to annoy me. I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "You have the patience of a 3 year old child, Sly. I offer my Island Turtle for my Dungeness Stone Crab."
The large turtle vanished in a burst of bubbles as a large red crab with a stone-like shell with 6 large rock-like legs and two small eyes appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"I activate my White Mirror."
The spell appeared and a beautiful white mirror appeared and it glowed as his Great Blue Marlin reappeared and he grabbed a 2nd copy of it and added and then his mirror shattered into small white shards and then he resumed, "I'll banish my Bubble Storm to give all my Water monsters 500 attack apiece."
She banished the card and both of his monsters glowed (ATK: 2,200 - 2,700) - (ATK: 1,900 - 2,400).
"I attack your Sabersaurus with my Stone Crab."
It glowed as a burst of bubbles shot out and struck down his Sabersaurus and it let out a deep angry grunt before it shattered to pieces (Sly Guy LP: 7000 - 6200) and another burst of bubbles struck him down as well (Sly Guy LP: 6200 - 5700).
"When my Stone Crab takes out a monster, you take 500 damage as well. My Marlin attacks now."
It quickly went and pecked at the large dinosaur and it let out a deep growling noise before it shattered into triangles (Sly Guy LP: 5700 - 5200) and Maddie smiled and resumed, "Christian's deck is really strong."
"Your turn now."
The power boosts went away (ATK: 2,700 - 2,200) - (ATK: 2,400 - 1,900) Sly Guy drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Rescue Rabbit."
She played the card and the cute rabbit with goggles appeared (ATK: 300).
"I'll banish my small friend for two Little D's."
It burrowed into the ground and the ground filled up as two small and angry dinosaurs appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I overlay my 2 Level 3 monsters to Xyz Summon my Grenosaurus."
The dinosaurs tuned into white orbs and they flew into the sky as a huge fiery dinosaur appeared with a mighty roar (ATK: 2,000).
"I attack your Stone Crab and chain it with my Blustering Winds."
The spell appeared and it glowed (ATK: 2,000 - 3,000) as a burst of hot flames shot out and struck down her large crab and it turned dark red before it burst in a scalding cloud of steam (Christian LP: 7100 - 6300) and he smiled and resumed, "I can now remove a Xyz Material monster to give you 1,000 damage."
She discarded one of its cards as a fiery bolt of energy shot out and struck down him down (Christian LP: 6300 - 5300).
"Take that, buddy. I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "Like you said, we were never friends. I'll switch my Marlin to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Souleating Oviraptor."
He played the card and the dark-skinned raptor appeared (ATK: 1,800) and she resumed, "I'll discard a DInosuar to my graveyard with its effect."
He quickly did so and resumed, "I attack your Marlin."
His Grenosaurus let out a burst of flames and they shot out and struck his Fish and burned it to ashes and he removed the other material and more flames struck him down (Christian LP: 5300 - 4300).
"Raptor attacks now."
It quickly went in and a morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and it slashed through the jar and smashed it to bits and he discarded his Great Blue Marlin and he discarded a 2nd Sabersaurus and both drew 5 cards and he resumed, "I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Rescue Crab."
She played the card and a a small white crab with a small tiny blue hat on its head and two large eye stalks appeared (ATK: 300).
"I'll send my little friend away to Special Summon a Level 3 or lower water monster from my hand and then a monster with a lower ATK from my and I choose my Needle
Sunfish from my deck and my Left-Hand Shark from my hand."
The little crab burrowed into the ground as a spiked fish (ATK: 1,500) appeared next a large shark (ATK: 1,300).
"I now Overlay my 2 Level 3 monsters to Xyz Summon my Deep Sea Ray Lancer."
She played the card and a tall armored sea Warrior with a large trident for a weapon with two large blue wings in his back appeared (ATK: 2,100 - 2,300).
"He gains 100 attack and defense for each Water monster I used to Xyz Summon this monster and the boost doesn't leave at anytime at well and now I use its effect and remove a Material to drain your monster of 200 attack times its rank or level."
He took his Needle Sunfish and discarded it and his dino let out a deep roar (ATK: 2,000 - 1,200) and he nodded and resumed, "Since my Needle Sunfish hit the graveyard, one monster you have loses 500 attack."
The spiked fish glowed as a burst of sharp needles shot out and pierced through her dinosaur (ATK: 1,200 - 700) and he smiled and resumed, "I attack your monster now."
It quickly rushed and rammed its trident into its side and it let out a deep weakened roar before it burst in a fiery shower of ash & smoke (Sly Guy LP: 5200 - 3600).
"Your turn now, Sly."
He drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my Oviraptor to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that's all for me."
Christian drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness."
He played the card and the serpent warrior appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Serpent Warrior attacks now."
it went in and stabbed with its weapon and blew her Oviraptor to shards.
"My Lancer attacks now."
It went and stabbed quickly with its trident and a Gilasaurus appeared on the card (DEF: 400) and it swung its trident and and struck and blew the Dinosaur to minute pieces.
"I'll end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I activate my Hand Destruction."
Sly took two cards and drew 2 new ones and Christian nodded and he looked at his hand and discarded two cards and drew some new ones as well.
"I'm about to hit you big times, White! now summon my Armored Lizard."
She played the card and the armored lizard appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I now activate Ultimate Evolution Pill and I'll send my Reptile away to Special Summon my Super Conductor Tyranno!"
The spell appeared and the huge dinosaur covered in metal and electricity appeared (ATK: 3,300) and Kara sighed and resumed, "This guy is really good with this deck."
"I'll activate my Double Attack."
He took a Mighty Dino King Rex and discarded it and resumed, "Blast his monsters to bits!"
The huge dinosaur glowed as a huge burst of electricity shot out and struck down his Serpent Warrior and blew it to pieces and then a 2nd burst shot out and struck down his Xyz and it dropped its trident and then burst into shards (Christian LP: 4300 - 1700).
"You won't beat me anytime soon, White! I end my turn now."
He drew a card and he nodded and resumed, "I'm afraid you are done for right now, my friend. I activate my Xyz Reborn."
The trap flipped and his Lancer appeared again (ATK: 2,100).
"I now activate my Silent Doom."
The spell appeared and the Serpent Warrior appeared and knelt (DEF: 1,500).
"I now summon my Shell Guardian."
She played the card and a creature made of various seashells appeared with two rocky hands (ATK: 0).
"When this one is summoned, I can discard the top card of my deck and then it switchs to defense and you take 500 damage as well."
He discarded the top card and a burst of small jagged pieces shot out and stabbed into him (Sly Guy LP: 3600 - 3100).
"I Overlay my Shell Guardian and my Serpent Warrior to Xyz Summon my Emperor King Crab."
The two monsters turned into blue orbs and they flew into the sky as a large crab with a large red shell that is covered with small sparkly stones all over it and two large red claws for weapons (ATK: 2,200) and Kara nodded and resumed, "He's up to something big now."
"My new friend is right about that one, Sly. I now banish the All-Armored Xyz I discarded with your Spell to equip my Crab to my Lancer as a Equip Spell Card."
He banished his card and the large crab vanished as and vanished as parts of its shell flew onto his monster's back (ATK: 2,100 - 4,300) and he resumed, "I now activate my Torpedo Takedown."
The Spell appeared.
"I discard one of its Xyz Material monsters and then you take damage equal to the number of cards in my hand times 400."
He discarded the Shell Guardian's card and a burst of small torpedoes shot out and exploded around him (Sly Guy LP: 3100 - 1700) and then his Lancer's weapon began to glow (ATK: 4,300 - 5,600) and Maddie smiled and resumed, "That'll be enough to crush him now."
"Thanks for another great duel. Lancer, attack!"
It quickly went and stabbed with its lancer into the side of the huge dinosaur and it roared in pain before it exploded in a fiery shower of colorful lights (Sly Guy LP: 1700 - 0) and the crowd cheered as his Emperor King Crab faded away into nothing and then Bailey smiled and resumed, "His deck is super powerful. I hope I don't have to face him anytime soon."
He looked down to Sly Guy and replied, "You owe me that notebook and 2 star chips."
The reporter sighed as he took 2 star chips and he grabbed them and he handed him the notebook and then Sly Guy began to laugh and then replied, "Your skills are better then ever, Christian."
Christian nodded and replied, "Your deck is just as good, Sly."
The girls and everyone looked puzzled and Christian then replied, "This is actually my closest friend growing up and after I became rich with my family, I hired him to be 2nd in Command behind me when I'm not able to and I taught him well. He's going to be a great member for my company and I'm happy to have him around. He wanted to come here as a regular duelist and nothing more. He wanted to test us and everyone else here to think he was a selfish reporter and not knowing to you all, he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met."
They both high-fived each other and then Sly looked at the ladies and resumed, "I'm really sorry if I made anyone of you fell bad or uncomfortable before our duel, ladies. I never meant to do anyone any harm."
Christian nodded and resumed, "Me and my buddy only meant to do good. I'm sorry as well if I deceived any of you ladies."
Maddie nodded and resumed, "It's all good, guys. Your both great duelists and that was a fun and fantastic duel to watch."
Kara smiled and resumed, "This was a odd one, but I forgive because he didn't mean to do any harm to us. It's cool. Christian."
Sly looked back at him and replied, "Want to get a drink somewhere, buddy?"
He nodded and then Christian looked back at the ladies and he replied, "I'll meet you at the coffee house at around 6:30 tomorrow night and we'll head to our dinner location. Later, ladies."
They nodded as they both left and then Serena then replied, "Let's go for some food, ladies."
They nodded and they went to find somewhere for a meal.

Fish/Effect/Water/ATK: 300/DEF: 100/4 Stars
You can banish this card from your side of the field and then target 1 level 3 or lower WATER monster in your hand and 1 WATER monster from your deck with the same level but lower ATK then the one from your hand: Special Summon them in faceup Defense Position. Monsters Special Summoned with this effect cannot be used as Synchro Material and can only be used to Summon a WATER monster and during your End Phase, banish the selected monsters . You can only use this effect of "Shell Guardian" once per turn. "Sea Shell Tokens" cannot be used in a Link Summon.

You can only control 1 "Bubble Storm". When a Level 4 or lower WATER monster you controls destroys a monster in battle, Your opponent takes 300 damage. You can banish this card from your GY; Increase the ATK of all WATER monsters by 500 until the End Phase of the turn. You can only use this effect of "Bubble Storm" once per turn.
