"Shinichi, please tell me about this Kazuma person" asked Petralka as they walked the school halls alongside Myucel.
"It's not a light subject, but I'll tell you" said Shinichi as he began to recollect what happened these past few days.
Looking back how it all started with Ainz discussing with Shinichi and how he was associated and related to everyone in the Otaku Club, Ainz was fortunate enough to associate himself with another shut-in NEET, given how common they are in this growing gang of friends.
After talking about himself and the guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, he eventually talked about Tanya and her friends, Subaru and his friends, and then finally Kazuma and his friends.
He was forthright in letting them know they had harmed Kazuma, not in great detail mind you, and how he's refusing to talk to them, because it was their fault.
Once Shinichi heard things from Kazuma's end, and seeing the whole picture as to what he endured, he was going to have to explain what they talked about the night before with Petralka.
"So apparently Ainz, along with some other friends went over to Kazuma's place for a party, that got way out of hand, with the end result of Kazuma getting the short end of everyone's bad side" said Shinichi as he recalled how angry and sad Kazuma was when retelling it.
"Master" said Myucel as she was there and knows how hard it is to retell what happened, "I'm fine Myucel, thank you" said Shinichi.
"So when we came to talk to Kazuma, he was struggling to keep it in especially with how Ainz and his friends were inside the house, and admits how he feels a little more depressed and alone for each passing day" said Shinichi.
Instantly the atmosphere was dead, as Elbia's ears drooped and Petralka had a solemn look on her face.
"And honestly I feel bad for the guy, since shortly afterwards he asked about me, where I discussed about the anime, games, and manga I read, and discovered we had a lot in common" said Shinichi as those words were true to the root since Shinichi was a shut-in NEET who was ridiculed for being himself.
"Is Kazuma going to be alright" asked Garius with concerned, "I don't know honestly, and before I went to bed, I was talking to his other friends Shiro and Sora, and after hearing from what I told them, they said they wanted to meet and talk about it later on today" said Shinichi.
"Hey, you" called Sora as everyone turned to see him, Shiro, and Stephanie, "You wouldn't happen to be Shinichi now would you".
"Yeah, that's me" said Shinichi, "Right, my name is Sora, and this my little sister Shiro, we chatted last night before we logged off" said Sora.
"I remember" said Shinichi, "Well good, now let's continue where we left off and see how we're going to help Kazuma" said Sora as the 2 groups became one as they continued to talk.
Not far from the group was Hinata as he was leaning behind the wall and was eavesdropping on their conversation long enough, before deciding now was the time to go back to the club room.
Ever since their discussion with Tanya, the members of the Reincarnated Afterlife Battlefront began to spy and gather intel on not only Tanya but everyone else for that matter.
It seemed that during their time gathering intel, the big buzz was centered around some guy named Kazuma, which instantly became the groups big attention.
"I need whatever information you guys were able to acquire to be listed on the board now" ordered Yurippe as there was short line of people waiting as Shiina and Takamatsu were writing on said board.
"This is stupid" quipped Shiina, before Hinata finally came back into the room, "Hinata, you're late" Yurippe said angrily.
"Sorry about that boss, just got some new and interesting data regarding Kazuma" said Hinata, "Alright, just get your ass in line and once we've gathered up the needed information, we'll have our group discussion.
Once everyone finished putting in any relevant information in regards to Kazuma, the group soon found themselves gathered around ready to go through some sort of orientation meeting conducted by Yurippe.
"Ok guys, listen up, from what we could gathered from the students here, it seems that this is the person that happens to be all the buzz" said Yurippe as Takeyama did some things on his laptop before showing a photo of Kazuma on the photo projector.
"Satou Kazuma, age 17, his notable features include his short brown hair, and his distinct green eyes. He claims that his ultimate skill at his disposal is his incredible luck, that has aided in terms of being able to steal even the most valuable and hardest to acquire items, and never missing a shot" said Takeyama.
"Sounds to me he's like the love child of Domino and Bullseye" said Takamatsu, "I was thinking the same thing" said Oyama.
"Moving on, he's known to be called a shut-in NEET, a pedo-NEET, and a panty snatching apostating scoundrel, and this is from the claims of his girlfriends words alone when we asked her" said Takeyama as the next photo was both Kazuma standing next to Aqua, as she handed him a box of chocolates during Valentine's Day.
"Ah, there's no better romance than a bad romance" said TK, "Love that song by the way. Anyways, from this information alone, you'd be hard pressed to believe that with this information alone, this guy while interesting, shouldn't be on the top of anyone's list right" said Yurippe as everyone murmured in agreement.
"However, we did discover that he played in active role when the school was plagued by the Destroyer the first time around" said Yurippe as she showed the photo of the destroyed Destroyer in the front of the school.
"He was responsible for taking on that big ass thing" asked Noda as he was rather impressed.
"That's right, he and 3 other students who were associated with him, at least they all were until recently" said Yurippe as Takeyama finished showing a photo of Kazuma, Ainz, Subaru, and Tanya enjoying lunch together on a regular.
"If what Tanya said is true, how she, Ainz, and Subaru were responsible in not only tainting their relationship, but also forced him to reside at home all day as a Shut-in, then it's easy to see why the school is buzzing and talking about him, at least that was what we know half of the story" said Yurippe.
"Yes, in recent information, ever since our absence from attending or establishing a presence here at this school, among many other students, no action was taken or announcements were made about this from the school's faculty, however they made an exception in Kazuma's choice. On that note, shortly after Kazuma's absence was when the arrival of many students, us included, began to attend to class or at least set foot back here in school" said Takeyama.
"Good job Takeyama" praised Yurippe, "Please call me Christ, though I would like to also add that since the arrival of these students, they wasted no time in reaching out and befriending Kazuma" said Takeyama as he looked at Yurippe who began to smirk.
"That's right, so our next course of action is to take initiative and befriend Kazuma, or at least establish some sort of connection" said Yurippe.
"No worries, I'll get him to talk" said Noda with a sadistic grin as he held his halberd, "Love that enthusiasm, but this is a job I'm going to leave in charge to Otonashi. Otonashi, you got 5 minutes to devise a plan and who you want backing you up" said Yurippe.
"I'm actually good to go, the only person I need backing me up is Tachibana, though if any of you guys want to volunteer and give me a hand, I got no objections" said Otonashi.
"You know I ain't going to leave you behind buddy" said Hinata as Yui was also going to tag along as well as Naoi as both grouped up.
"Alright guys, I wish you all the best of luck" said Yurippe as the group began to leave the classroom as everyone began to lounge around.
"So Takeyama, anything to report on in regards to how this world works" asked Yurippe, "Please call me Christ, but to answer your question I'm still drawing to a blank in regards to how this world and it's laws given the different background of everyone gathered here, however I got suspicion that the school's faculty and administrator could be behind it all somehow, especially since they've been secretly discussing about the absence of Kazuma" said Takeyama.
"So Tanya's reason of suspicion was right" said Yurippe, "It would appear so" said Takeyama.
"For now, see what you can do on your part I'll see if I can reach Tanya so we can discuss for future plans that I'd rather not talk here if you catch my drift" said Yurippe, "Roger that" said Takeyama as he began to do as he ordered to as Yurippe stared out the window out of uncertainty for the future.
Meanwhile as Otonashi and his friends were walking down the hall, they ran into a familiar face and his more than familiar shield.
We seem to get more people here every day now, thought Naofumi as Raphtalia and Filo stood beside him.
"So Otonashi, how do you want to approach this Kazuma person" asked Naoi, "I figured we start by knocking on his door and see from there if he's willing to talk" said Otonashi.
"Master Naofumi, these people are talking about Kazuma" said Raphtalia as Naofumi was well aware of the current school buzz and how Raphtalia had a desire to help Kazuma, which he had no objections to.
"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be talking about Satou Kazuma" asked Filo as she approached the group.
"We are" said Tachibana as this got Filo to beam, "Master, big sis, these people are talking about Kazuma" said Filo as she turned to them.
"That's good to hear, now tell me what are your guys' reason to going to greet Kazuma" asked Naofumi to the group.
"We're going to attempt to talk to him and see what can we do to help him" admitted Otonashi as this satisfied Naofumi.
"Do you mind if we tag along, Raphtalia has been meaning to chat with Kazuma as well" said Naofumi, "But Master Naofumi, what about staying in school" asked Raphtalia.
"I don't think any of the faculty members are going to care" said Naofumi as there was truth to his words, considering he wasn't neither a student or a faculty member, he was just the universal sub for whatever reason as he's been known for being there to help or fix anything for any given reason.
"What do you think Otonashi" asked Hinata as he's yet to give his approval, "They seem nice enough people with the same cause, so I say why not" said Otonashi as the group set out to leave campus.
