Once the group was back on the surface Sally had told Griff which way to go as was heading towards Knothole and the goat said ''wow this is really , really beautiful'' then after some more driving Griff lowered cover car and said ''home sweet home''

Sally giggled a little then said ''would you like a tour if Knothole as you gave us one of your home''

''thanks but I should get back'' Griff said as everyone was getting out of the vehicle

''that has to be your best idea I have heard yet'' Sonic said as he jumps out of the motor then he turns and said ''you coming Sal''

Sally turns to Griff and says ''bye Griff and thanks for everything'' then she turns and exits the vehicle

''allow me my princess'' Antoine said as he holds out a hand

''no thank you Antoine'' Sally said as she walks out of the hovercar with Manic and Sonia following

As the group was walking away Griff sad ''well I hope we met again freedom fighters'' before he disconnected a wire then tries to put the car into gear, but it made a strange noise

Sally walks over and asks ''Griff what's the matter''

''it's nothing just this durn engine acting up again'' Griff replied

''then how about you spend the night here seeing as we have the room, and you can have a look at it in the morning'' Sally said

''well that's really kind of you and I will accept the offer'' Griff said as he walks out of the vehicle

''great and I can show you around Knothole'' Sally said before she begins to show him around

later as Sally was showing Griff the power lake was approaching power lake Antoine jumped in front of them and said ''please be identifying your sirs''

''relax Antoine, you know its us'' Sally said

''I am sorry my princess but a royal guard us never taking anything for granted'' Antoine said then with a scoff said especially when there are strangers lurking around''

''Antoine you are being a toad'' Sally said as she walked up to the lake with Griff

''a toad'' Antoine said confused then asked ''what is a toad''

As Sally walks to the edge of a lake she said ''and this is where we get the power rings''

''that's quite nice but I'm not sure I understand'' Griff said just then there were some bubbles in the lake

Upon seeing the bubbles Sally smiled and said ''great we are in luck a ring is coming'' then a ring came out of the water and the chipmunk girl grabbed the ring

Griff looks at the ring for a few moments then said in awe ''its magnificent ''

''some we need to put this away'' Sally said as she leads Griff away from the lake

Later that night as the power lake Antoine who was supposed to on watch was fast asleep when Griff sneaked past and dived into the lake and he swam to the bottom to a strange looking device with a glowing rock on a platform and he took the rock and swam back to the surface and walked passed a still sleeping Antoine who was mumbling in his sleep and he headed back to his hovercar

Meanwhile Sally was looking out her window when Sonic came in and said ''hey Sal'' making her jump

''oh Sonic you scared me'' Sally said as she watches her fiancé walk up next to her

Once Sonic was standing next to Sally he said ''sorry about that but I have been thinking''

''oh decided to try something new did you'' Sally asked in a joking manner

''funny'' Sonic said

''thank you'' Sally said before they both looked at the moon then she asked ''are you still jealous''

Sonic turns to face the chipmunk then said ''me jealous ha''

''and what is that supposed to mean'' Sally asked

''ha is short for you have no clue'' Sonic said

Sally gave a fake laugh then said ''I have to clue ''

''is there a parrot around here'' Sonic asked while looking around before walks away

''so if I ask Manic or Sonia, they will say no'' Sally said

''there is no need to do that'' Sonic said

''if you want, I can tell you who doesn't have a clue'' Sally said

''and who is that'' Sonic said

''here is a hint look in a mirror'' Sally said

Sonic who was standing next to a table that had a mirror on it did as instructed then said ''all I see is hedgehog perfection''

''oh brother'' Sally said

Meanwhile Griff had gotten back his vehicle then he reconnects the wire then the vehicle starts and Griff flies away

Then out of the bushes Manic and Sonia walks out and the female hedgehog said ''looks like you were right Manic''

''of cause I would have stolen it and sold to someone if I wasn't helping stop Robotnik'' Manic said

''plus his city's is power is failing and with the ratbots lurking he would do anything to keep it safe'' Sonia said

''right so let's go and tell the loving couple'' Manic said then the two hedgehogs walked to Sally's hut

Meanwhile as Griff's hovercar drover above the power lake it startled Antoine awake and upon seeing the lake didn't have the glow that came from the power rock he said ''sacre bleu'' the rans to inform Sally

Antoine then runs into Sally's hut and said ''Sonic my princess something terrible is happening''

''what's wrong Antoine'' Sally asked

''I don't know but the power ring pool something is wrong with it, but I do not know what'' Antoine replied

''that's because the power stone has been stolen'' Manic said as he and Sonia walked into the hut

''how do you know that'' Sonic asked

''because we just saw Griff leave with it'' Sonia replied

''Griff took the power stone'' Sally asked

''yeah, he did'' Manic said

''right so I know where I am going'' Sonic said before running out of the hut

By the time Sonic got to the underground city ratbots was in it and was about to attack Griff but the blue hedgehog stopped them by saying ''you know you cheese bags are really starting to annoy me'' then he started to run around the ratbots before heading to the chilidog stand and said as he started to eat yo no brainers you ready to give up or what'' but one of the bot went to attack him but Sonic dodged it by jumping onto the roof of the chilidog stand and said ''guess not okay see how you dig this'' then he jumps off the roof landing in the middle of the pack then starts to spin and making a hole then he comes out of the ground behind one of the bots making them jump as the hedgehog said ''yo you want me I am right here'' so the ratbots went to attack Sonic btu got their tails tangled and short circuit themselves

Upon seeing what just happened Griff walks up to Sonic and with ashamed clearly in his voice said ''thank you Sonic''

''forget the thanks Griff where's the power stone'' Sonic said

''I used it to keep our energy crystal alive'' Griff said before continuing ''without this crystal we couldn't survive''

''that doesn't give you the right to still from us'' Sonic said

''I am sorry I did it because I was desperate'' Griff said

''where is it'' Sonic asked

''follow me and I will take you to it'' Griff said before leading Sonic to his hovercar then driving it to the crystal then once at the crystal Griff takes the power stone out and hands it to Sonic

''look Griff I know why you did it even if it was wrong, but you and I are both in this war with Robotnik together'' Sonic said before breaking the rock in half then hands one half to the goat and said ''this should keep you cruising for a while''

''I don't know how to thank you'' Griff said

''I think the first thing you can do is turn the lights back on'' Sonic said

Griff places the rock back and the crystal lights up then he turns to Sonic and said with a hand pout to shank ''you're the best Sonic''

Sonic takes the hand and says ''I know'' then Griff takes the vehicle down and Sonic heads hack to the surface with half of the power stone

a few days later the hedgehog siblings Sally Rotor and Binnie was in the workshop with the rabbit standing on a machine platform talking about the mission that Sonic and Sally did the night before when Sally said ''you ready Bonnie''

''ready as I'll ever be'' Bonnie said then a tube descended encasing Bonnie

Once the tube was down Sally said ''NICOLE run de-roboticizeing sequence''

''activating Sally'' NICOLE said before saying as Sonic gave Bonnie a thumps up while he crossed his fingers ''five, four three, two, one activate'' then the de-roboticizer activated encasing the whole tube in a yellow light and when it was done NICOLE said ''sequence complete Sally'' then the tube ascended

''Bonnie'' Sonic said as he ran over with his friends following

As bonnie regains her bearing Sally asked ''how are you feeling''

''well I'' Bonnie said before looking at her hands then said ''oh my stars look at this'' as she flexes her fingers then stands up as she said ''the bunny is back''

Later Sonic was at the power lake pacing as Tails was sitting on some nearby rock when a new ring emerged from the lake which the two tailed fox caught and said as he flew to Sonic ''got it Sonic pass cool right''

''way pass cool'' Sonic said as he gives Tails a high five then said ''now slide it into the ol' pack and then I am out of here''

Just as Sonic was about to run off Sally came running over and said ''Sonic wait we have to talk''

''save it Sal I am going after Uncle Chuck if the de-roboticizer worked in Bunnie it'll work on Uncle Chuck end of story'' Sonic said

''but we still don't know it the effects will last'' Sally said then she asked ''can't you wait for one more day''

''hey if it doesn't work, you'll fix it'' Sonic asked

''fine but what will we do with Uncle Chuck while I'm fixing the de-roboticizer'' Sally asked

''why do you ask so many questions'' Sonic asked

''why don't you use your brain'' Sally asked back

''didn't think he had one'' Sonia said as she also walked over

''hey, I do one, but it gives me a headache when I use it'' Sonic said then said ''later'' then he ran off

''hey'' Sally said as she and Sonia watched Sonic ran off

''don't worry Sally I will go after him to make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble, and I will take Manic as well'' Sonia said before walking away

''thank you, Sonia,'' Sally said as she watches Sonia walking away

Later as Sonic was in the docking bay looking for his Uncle then upon seeing him he snuck over and placed his bag on the tool station and then when Chuck grabbed the ring there was a red glow and Sonic said ''uncle Chuck you in there'' but it didn't work as Chick went back to work then Sonic said ''guess last time was just a one off''

''what was a one off'' Manic asked then Sonic told them what happened just before he went to find Sonia and Manic then the green hedgehog said ''and you thought using the power ring would work again''

''that's right'' Sonic replied dejected

Then Sonia begins to think of away then the sees her brothers' medallions glow then she looks at hers then said ''how about we try our medallions''

''can you run that by us'' Sonic said

''think about what the monks said about our medallions when we were learning to use our medallions'' Sonia said

Sonia and Manic think for a while then the latter said ''the monk said that our medallions are a source of great powers and the first is the power of music''

''right and what if they have the power to give freewill back to those who have been roboticized'' Sonia asked

Sonic and Manic looks at each other then the former said ''might work''

''there is nothing wrong at giving it a try'' Manic said

Then as stealthy as the trio can made a triangle around Chick then using medallions shot a beam at the roboticized hedgehog then after few seconds the beams stopped and the roboticized hedgehog blinked a few times then looks at Sonic and said ''Sonic then he looks around and said ''so you found Sonia and Manic good for you sonny''

''that's right but we need to get going and I will fill you in later'' Sonic said

''that might be a good idea lets get going'' Chuck said then they left the workshop
