Boku no Hero Academia: Custodian Izuku
Disclaimer: This is a crossover fanfiction story of 'Boku no Hero Academia' and 'Warhammer 40k' (yes, really). I own nothing of the two series other than the fanfiction stories that I make.
I am making this story for the sake of fun, fluff and awesome after writing a one-shot story of the same story concept. If I am able to somehow impress fans of Warhammer 40k or even move someone to tears, even better.
Also, if anyone wants to know how in the world I got this idea in the first place, please refer to the artist, Ryuusei (Mark II), who has made some awesome pictures of gender-bent primarchs. The link is: .us/pools/17320
Please note that while I am familiar with the Warhammer 40k setting, my actual knowledge of it is casual at best. Also, if the genderbent primarchs seem at least a bit OOC, please kindly consider the fact that their bodies (especially the traitor primarchs) have changed drastically after entering Izuku's world.
In case anyone asks how much crack I was taking in to come up with the idea, I am just going to say enough to make even a loyalist Adaptus Astartes trippy.
Chapter 2: Moving and Shopping
A few days had passed since Izuku first met the six girls who were once primarchs. During that time, the girls decided to study the Japanese language and were soon able to speak it with a reasonable level of fluency. Although the girls would need more time to get used to the written Japanese language, there was no doubt that even the "academically disinclined" girls were extremely intelligent. That being said, given the different dialects of Low Ghotic, it could be argued that learning spoken Japanese was simply a matter of learning a different dialect of the same core language for the former primarchs.
It was also during that time when Nedzu took steps to ensure that the HPSC would not attempt to use the former primarchs for their own agenda without at least considering the possible risks. After all, at least some of the former primarchs were clearly still loyal to the Emperor and, given the Horus Heresy, Nedzu was quite certain that they would not be amused by any attempts to make them change their allegiances. What was more, the former primarchs were, from a certain point of view, the offspring of royalty and even the HPSC should know better than to carelessly provoke such people regardless of the "irrelevance" of their connections.
Predictably, the president of the HPSC tried to force Nedzu into surrendering the girls to her organisation for the sake of "preserving the peace" soon after receiving word about them. However, after receiving Nedzu's warnings about the girls and a quick meeting with them, the president quickly changed her mind and allowed U.A. High School deal with them. To describe the meeting briefly, it involved the girls being insulted by the woman's patronising attitude towards them and refusing to swear loyalty towards the HPSC. It was also during that meeting that Izuku realised that the five former loyalist primarchs, especially Sanguinius, could be just as terrifying as Angron if not more so.
Nedzu would, for the rest of his life, deny that he almost cackled in glee at how the president of the HPSC and her guards almost wet themselves in terror when Sanguinius got angry with them.
In spite of giving up in forcing the girls to surrender themselves to the HPSC, the president of the organisation was still determined to keep the girls under watch. Nedzu willingly agreed to it as long as he had his own people keep an eye on them as well. All six former primarchs did not mind the arrangement as they knew that they were stuck in an alternate version of Terra with no way to return back to their own version of Terra for the foreseeable future. Besides, any halfway-competent leader would make sure to have someone keep watch over individuals of interest.
After making sure that the HPSC would not carelessly assume that they could gain control of the former primarchs, including the ones that could theoretically be deemed as villains due to being traitors in the past, Nedzu quickly made arrangements for the Midoriya family to live within U.A. High School together with the six former primarchs. Given the girls' willingness to trust Izuku, never mind Angron's obvious attachment towards they boy, not even the president of the HPSC disagreed with the idea of keeping the Midoriya family involved.
With the assistance of Ishiyama Ken, who was a pro-hero and one of the staff of U.A. High School known as Cementoss, the new home would be completed before the week was over. Being a fan of pro-heroes, Izuku made sure to get an autograph from Ken who could manipulate cement and resembled a humanoid block of cement with black eyes and grey hair tied into a short ponytail. It was also during that moment that Nedzu and the former primarchs realised that Izuku possessed a keen intellect that deserved recognition and, just as importantly, to be cultivated.
While the construction of the building was ongoing, Izuku and his mother made plans to have their belongings moved to their new home. During the planning, Inko realised that the former primarchs lacked any belongings of their own due to their unusual circumstances. Not surprisingly, a shopping trip was quickly arranged.
-On the following morning…-
Izuku, together with his mother, the six former primarchs and a curvaceous woman with sky-blue eyes and long spiky hair named Kayama Nemuri, soon arrived at Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall, the biggest and newest mall in the prefecture. Nemuri, who was not only a dominatrix-themed pro-heroine named Midnight but was also one of the teachers of U.A. High School, was currently dressed in her civilian clothes to attract less attention to herself and the others. However, avoiding attention was simply impossible when the six girls were nearly two metres tall, were all attractively athletic if not muscular build and, in Sanguinius' case, was giving off a glowing aura that seemed to be literally angelic.
Nemuri looked at the staring onlookers before turning her attention towards Sanguinius and said, "Is there any way for your to turn off that glow? We're attracting a lot more attention than I've expected and that glow is not helping."
Sanguinius sighed and said, "I have tried, but this seems to be about as dim as I can make it, unfortunately."
Nemuri smiled and said, "Well, if nothing else, you'll be really easy to recognise even from a mile away."
Inko, who was clearly excited, was almost hopping in girlish glee as she giggled and said, "Oh, I haven't gone on such a shopping spree for years!"
Understanding Inko's desire to find and purchase nice clothes, Nemuri grinned at her and took out a credit card that had Nedzu's face printed onto it while saying, "Well, lucky for us, Nedzu has given us near-unlimited funds to buy clothes for these six lovely statuesque ladies." Her smile soon turned devilish as she added, "We're going to buy everything from casual clothes to bikinis and sexy lingerie!"
"I know that the Ruinous Powers are not present here, but I wouldn't be surprised if she gets the attention of one of them," said Russ. Well aware that Russ was referring to the dark god of pleasure, decadence, excess and pain, Slaanesh, the other former primarchs nodded in agreement with her opinion about Nemuri. In spite of Nemuri's occupation as a pro-heroine and her genuinely heroic nature, her lascivious attitude and manner of dress while working were things that followers of the chaos god would gladly approve.
"Well, let's not waste any more time. Let's go!" said Inko.
Since the six girls were once men in their past lives, they were not particularly enthusiastic about buying clothes for women. Both Angron and Russ were particularly uncaring about the idea of buying beautiful clothes.
Izuku, who was simply following along, prayed that he would not end up carrying everything that the Nemuri and his mother would buy for the six girls. Regardless of the fact that the six girls actually wanted to help him improve himself, which meant helping him train both his mind and body, he was quite certain that he was not yet strong enough to carry multiple heavy bags of clothes and whatever else his mother and Nemuri would buy for the former primarchs.
-A short while later…-
Inko squealed happily as she said, "Aw, you look so cute, Angron-chan!"
Angron, who was clearly wishing that the Emperor of Mankind would smite her to death at that very moment, was blushing furiously as she stood out of the dressing room while dressed in a frilly sleeveless peach-pink dress that was large enough to fit her. The only reason why she was even wearing the cutesy-looking dress in the first place was because she was unable to say no to Inko who thought that the dress would look good on her.
A tall and muscular transgender woman with blond hair and a visible stubble on her chin smiled happily and said, "That cute dress really suits you!"
As for the other former primarchs, they were clearly amused by Angron's comical predicament. In fact, Russ was struggling to breathe as she wheezed between laughs, "Angron… in a pink frilly dress… this is… too rich!"
Inko turned her attention towards Izuku and asked, "So, what do you think, Izuku?"
Izuku blushed as she looked at Angron and said, "It doesn't look bad on her but… maybe something more tomboyish will suit her better?" Mentally, he thought, "The dress may not suit her so well but she's pretty cute when she blushes like that."
The blond transgender woman, who was the owner of the shop that sold clothes, sighed with a smile and said, "Personally, I think that the dress looks wonderful on her but I'm willing to respect her wishes and preferences."
"Hang on a second," said Izuku as he fetched some clothes that he felt would be more suitable for Angron. He soon approached Angron while carrying a pair of dark-blue jeans and a white T-shirt which had a simple picture of a yellow smiley face on it. As he passed the clothes to Angron, he said, "Try these on, Angron."
Eager to get out of the dress that made her look ridiculous, Angron gladly accepted the clothes and quickly rushed back into the changing room. A short while later, Angron came out while dressed in the jeans and T-shirt. Much calmer than before, Angron said, "I prefer these clothes."
"While she certainly looks good in them, it won't be a bad idea for her to get a dress for formal events," said Nemuri who had secretly taken some pictures of Angron in the frilly dress at Inko's request. She then took out a elegant-looking crimson-red dress which had an open back and spoke to Angron, "Perhaps this elegant red one will suit you better than the pink one."
Angron looked at the dress and grimaced as she replied, "I… would rather pick a different colour."
Well aware of Angron's former allegiance to Khorne, never mind the horrors she had endured before the Emperor found her, the other primarchs sympathised with her aversion to red-coloured clothes.
"Fortunately, I have many different colours of that dress," said the transgender women.
"Please don't put that red one away though. If all of us are expected to own dresses for formal events, I won't mind trying that one," said Sanguinius. The red colour of the dress reminded her of her space marines, the Blood Angels.
Nemuri gave Sanguinius a thumb's up and said, "I look forward to seeing you wearing it!"
Vulkan turned her attention to the transgender owner and asked, "Do you happen to have a green one?"
The owner nodded with a smile and said, "I have one that has an emerald shine on it."
"Then I would like to humbly request try it on," said Vulkan. Similar to Sanguinius, Vulkan had a preference for a particular colour as it reminded her of her space marines, the Salamanders.
Russ rolled her eyes and said, "I don't really care about dresses, but if I have to pick one, I'll take ice-blue." Like her fellow former primarchs, she wanted to wear a dress that had the colour the represented her space marines, the Space Wolves.
"Yellow for me," said Dorn who thought about her space marines, the Imperial Fists, as she made the request.
"A white dress will be appreciated," said Jaghatai who thought about her space marines, the White Scars.
Angron hesitated for a moment before she asked, "Do you have a brown dress?"
Surprised, the owner said, "I do, but are you sure you want that colour?"
A distant memory of fellow slaves passed Angron's mind as she nodded and explained, "The last time I genuinely cared for anyone, we did not have the luxury to wear anything especially colourful."
The cheerful mood dipped as Izuku, Inko and the other former primarchs were reminded of Angron's past as a slave in a cruel world. Nemuri and the owner, who did not know the truth about the six girls, knew that Angron was barely scratching the surface of her past traumas but chose to respect her desire to keep her secrets to herself and the few who knew about it.
Fortunately, the dimmed mood soon passed as everyone, including Angron, looked good in their formal dresses. Nemuri and Inko also made sure that the girls would have enough clothes to wear for at least one week.
Yes, plenty of pictures were taken and there was simply no question that Sanguinus looked stunningly beautiful in her "Blood Angel Dress". Once the clothes had been bough, the group set off to find other clothes that the former primarchs would need such as swimsuits and undergarments.
The owner of the shop would later meet her good friend, Hikiishi Kenji, to not only talk about her good fortune that day but also give her friend a dinner treat.
-At the next shop…-
"Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope!" thought Izuku as he desperately tried to flee from the impending doom of… being seen entering a ladies' swimwear shop.
Inko, who was already prepared for Izuku's unwillingness to enter the shop, firmly held onto his hand and said cheerfully, "Now, hold on a minute, dear. I understand that you're embarrassed to go in there with us but I'm sure that these girls won't mind a second opinion from a member of the opposite sex."
Izuku wore a comically betrayed expression as he thought, "You know as well as I do that those girls were men in their past lives, Mom!"
Nemuri giggled as she spoke to Izuku, "Most boys would commit villainy to get a chance to see such lovely ladies in sexy swimsuits."
Izuku was tempted to retort, "Most girls aren't literal demigods in their past lives and can probably still take on the likes of even the top ten pro-heroes in all of Japan!" In spite of the temptation, he was able to hold himself back and instead blurted out, "M-most boys care more about ogling at naked girls than helping them!"
A moment of stunned silence passed as everyone, Izuku included, processed the statement.
Once Izuku realised what he had just said, he blushed even harder while Nemuri chortled and said, "Touché, Midoriya-kun, touché!" She then wore a devilish grin and asked rhetorically, "However, since you have already seen them naked before, surely you can handle seeing them in their swimsuits, can you not?"
Izuku's brain suffered a near-literal short circuit as he failed to come up with a coherent sentence let alone a strong counterargument. While Inko dragged Izuku into the swimsuit shop with an amused giggle, the six former primarchs shared one common thought as they followed her lead, "He walked right into that one!"
As the group entered the shop, a significant number of people from both biological genders felt very jealous of Izuku. One particular person, a short boy with purple balls in place of hair named Mineta Minoru, was shedding comical tears of blood as he growled, "That lucky son of a bitch!"
Before long, Izuku was reduced to a blushing stuttering mess as he saw the six former primarchs appear before him while dressed in different kinds of swimwear. Thankfully for him, the primarchs refused to wear anything too "arousing" and did not judge him for being unwillingly dragged into the situation.
It should be noted that when Sanguinius appeared out of the changing room, while dressed in a backless white swimsuit that had gold-yellow trimmings, she became an instant viral hit on the internet.
-Later that afternoon…-
It was lunchtime and, since the six girls had all the clothes that they needed, everyone in Izuku's group agreed to have lunch at a food court. Of course, given the fact that the former primarchs were large girls with strong athletic builds, it was no surprise that they also possessed large appetites as each one of them ate enough food to satisfy at least two people.
Russ, who was eating fried chicken as though she was a Viking from ancient history, grinned at the other former primarchs and said, "Say what you will about this place, but the food's good!"
Sanguinius, who was eating her red-sauce spaghetti with impeccable manners in spite of the "extra large" portion, took a moment to swallow her food before she smiled and said, "Your poor table manners aside, I am inclined to agree with you, Russ."
Nemuri grinned at the girls and said, "Glad to know that you girls like the food." She then asked, "Anyway, now that we have all the clothes that you need, do you girls have anything else that you wish to buy?"
Vulkan, who was actually holding a searing-hot metal plate with her bare hands while eating the hot-plate noodle dish, pondered for a moment before she said, "Personally, I would like to visit a shop that provides tools and pieces of technology."
Dorn, who was eating a burger, nodded and said, "I too would like to visit such a shop."
"I don't really have anything in mind at the moment but I won't mind tagging along with you two," said Jaghatai who was eating a large bowl of noodles known as ramen. Personally, she wanted to look at motorcycles but the mall lacked a shop that sold vehicles so she was willing to tag along with Vulkan and Dorn to see if she could find any vehicle-related tools.
"It's a shame there isn't a weapons shop around here," said Russ who then added, "I'd love to get my hands on some weapons and try them out."
Angron, being a former enslaved gladiator during the early parts of her past life, nodded as she appreciated the idea of owning a personal armoury of weapons. On a side note, she was eating the same dish as Izuku which was a large bowl of rice with fried pork cutlets known as katsudon.
"If you two are not against it, perhaps you'd like to join me and visit an art shop?" asked Sanguinius.
"I won't mind checking out for art supplies," said Izuku.
"Oh, you're an artist?" asked Sanguinius.
Izuku blushed as he explained, "I have drawn pictures of pro-heroes whom I like and assembled figurines of pro-heroes."
"Oh, does that include me?" asked Nemuri who was clearly trying to tease Izuku.
Izuku avoided looking at Nemuri as he replied, "I-I would be lying if I said no."
Inko snorted as she stopped herself from giggling. As Izuku's mother, she knew that his bedroom was essentially a shrine for his favourite pro-hero, All Might. She also knew where Izuku kept his "hidden stash" of attractive pro-heroines.
"Well, fun teasing aside, I think we can agree to this arrangement," said Nemuri who then added, "I will take Vulkan, Dorn and Jaghatai to the hardware shop while Midoriya-san and Midoriya-kun will take Sanguinius, Russ and Angron to the art shop. We will meet up at the entrance in about an hour and head back to U.A. High School."
No one objected as they went their separate ways after having their lunch. As Izuku, Inko, Sanguinius, Russ and Angron made their way to a nearby art shop, the boy noticed that a young girl with a tadpole's tail was crying while standing alone in the crowd. Unwilling to leave the child alone, Izuku unhesitatingly approached her and gently asked, "Excuse me, are you lost?"
The girl with a tadpole's tail stared at Izuku with large eyes before she hesitantly nodded and said, "I can't find my neechan (big sister) and niichan (big brother), poyo."
"What is your name?" asked Izuku.
"My name's Asui Satsuki, poyo," answered the little girl.
Izuku smiled kindly at her and asked, "Would you like us to help you, Asui-chan?"
Satsuki seemed torn as she replied, "My onee-chan, haha (mother) and chichi (father) told me to not to follow to strangers, poyo."
"Then perhaps we can introduce ourselves to you so that we will not be strangers to you?" suggested Sanguinius.
Amazed by Sanguiniu's beauty, Satsuki had to asked, "A-are you an angel, poyo?"
Sanguinius chuckled before she replied, "No, but I understand why so many would see me that way." She then introduced herself, "My name is Sanguinius Angelos." She then motioned towards the rest of the group and introduced them to Satsuki, "His name is Midoriya Izuku and we're shopping here with his mother, Midoriya Inko. These two are my cousins whom I consider as my sisters, Leman Russ and Angron Oenomaus."
It should be noted that Sanguinius, Angron and Vulkan were persuaded by Nedzu to take up "surnames" as they were important in the local Japanese culture. Also, Vulkan's "full name" was Vulkan Salamander.
Inko nodded at Satsuki with a smile while Russ waved at the small girl with a friendly wolfish grin and said, "Yo."
Angron, whom Satsuki honestly found scary-looking, approached the little girl before she crouched down. She then asked, "You said that you can't find your family, right?" Satsuki nodded timidly while trying to put Izuku between herself and Angron. Not surprised by Satsuki's reaction, Angron asked, "Do you think you can see them if I hold you up?"
Surprised by Angron's suggestion, Satsuki thought about it for a moment before she tilted her head and said, "Maybe?"
Angron beckoned Satsuki to her outstretched arms and said, "You're very small and soft-looking so I'll be careful, I promise."
Satsuki was hesitating when Izuku smiled at her and said, "It's all right, Asui-chan. Angron may look a bit scary but she's very gentle."
"You can take his word for it," said Russ who then smirked and added, "He's been hugged by her more than enough times to know."
"R-Russ-san/R-Russ!" yelled Izuku and Angron who were blushing in embarrassment. Their reaction caused Satsuki to giggle as she realised that Izuku and his group were sincerely nice people.
-Meanwhile…-
A girl with long dark-green hair and frog-like features including large hands, a wide mouth and large oval eyes with black irises named Asui Tsuyu was looking frantically while holding onto her younger brother's hand. A few minutes ago, she and her younger brother, a boy with black hair, half-closed eyes, a frog-like face and blush marks on his face named Asui Samidare, went shopping together with her parents and younger sister, Satsuki. However, Satsuki got separated from the rest of the family while they were discussing about what to get for dinner later that day. Needless to say, the family immediately started searching for the youngest daughter in the family.
Tsuyu was starting to fear the worst when she suddenly heard a familiar voice, "Tsuyu-oneechan! Samidare-oniichan! Over here!"
Tsuyu and Samidare turned their attention towards the source of the call and saw Satsuki waving at them excitedly while being held up in the air by a pair of muscular arms. Relieved that Satsuki was apparently safe, Tsuyu and Samidare quickly rushed towards her. As they did so, Tsuyu took out her mobile phone and called her mother to inform her…
-A short while later…-
"Thank you so much for helping our little daughter!" said a woman with a blush marks on her cheeks, a small nose, long dark hair and a wide mouth that gave her a frog-like appearance named Asui Beru.
A man who resembled a humanoid toad with brown skin, short black hair, black eyes and a stocky build named Asui Ganma said, "Had you not helped her, who knows what would have happened to her." He then bowed to the people who helped Satsuki and said, "We are truly grateful for your help."
"I-it's nothing, really," said Izuku who was clearly still not used to receiving thanks from others. He then added, "Anyone could have helped her if they tried."
Sanguinius smiled at Izuku and said, "While I will admit that anyone could have helped her if he or she actually tried, the simple fact is that you willingly helped her while others stood aside and did nothing as she cried in distress." Her statement, in spite of lacking any accusation, made more than a few people who had watched the scene feel uncomfortable about their own inaction.
Angron nodded and said, "Just like the many times when you helped me."
Surprised by Angron's claim, Tsuyu said, "Forgive me for being blunt, but I find it hard to believe that someone as… strong-looking as you needs much help."
"A person with a strong body does not necessarily have a strong mind or heart," said Angron who then bitterly added, "and not all problems can be solved with a strong punch on the face." Angron could have mentioned something about killing people to solve problems but, between her refusal to be like the person she once was and her growing familiarity with Izuku's world, including a certain famous pro-hero named All Might, Angron thought that making a reference to All Might's tendency to defeat villains by punching them would suffice as an example.
Understanding the implications, Tsuyu nodded and said, "I see. I apologise if my lack of tack has offended you." She then turned her attention towards Izuku and asked, "That being said, I am curious how exactly you have helped her in the past."
Izuku blushed as he stammered, "W-well…"
"Does it have to do with letting her hug you, Izuku-niisan?" asked Satsuki who was being completely innocent about it. Both Angron and Izuku stiffened as Satsuki continued to speak, "When I feel sad or scared, Tsuyu-oneechan usually hugs me to make me feel better."
Both Izuku and Angron blushed as they struggled to make a coherent reply. Both Inko and Sanguinius giggled while Russ chortled and said, "You got it one, pup!"
"Oh, my!" said Beru who, as a Japanese, was a little scandalised by the apparent physical closeness between Izuku and Angron.
Ganma looked at Angron before he turned his attention towards Izuku and thought, "Either he has a thing for women who are built like brick outhouses, has a pair of pure titanium balls or both."
Tsuyu tilted her head while tapping her finger onto her lips and thought, "That's a shame. I wouldn't mind asking him out for date."
Samidare, who simply could not take his eyes off Sanguinius, was rapidly developing a crush as he thought, "Beautiful…!"
Before long, the two group parted ways after Izuku and Inko traded telephone numbers with the Asui family. The rest of the shopping trip went without further incident other than a quick stop at a shop that sold soft plush toys after Izuku's group rejoined with Nemuri's group. Long story short, Dorn saw the plush toys and wanted to buy at least one large plush toy before heading back to U.A. High School. Vulkan and Angron soon followed Dorn's example while Sanguinius started thinking about making plush toy versions of the space marines. Dorn bought a large plush toy of a seal while Vulkan bought a large plush toy of a green baby dragon that was based on a pre-quirk era anime titled, 'Kobayashi's Dragon Maid' and Angron bought a large plush toy that was based on a character named Ornn from a game titled, 'League of Legends'.
It should be noted that, while Izuku was made to carry some of the bags as an added form of physical training, the former primarchs were largely content to carry their own bags by themselves. After all, as they were once the champions of humanity, not spoiled planetary governors who expected everything to be done for them.
-Meanwhile, along an unnamed alley in Musutafu city…-
A boy with red eyes, spiky ash-blond hair and a seemingly permanent scowl on his face named Bakugou Katsuki was hanging out with his two lackeys when one of them received a message on his mobile phone and said, "Give me a second." The first lackey (henceforth named Lackey One) then took his mobile phone out of his pocket to look at the message which was apparently about a picture posted on the internet. His eyes widened as he saw the picture and yelled, "W-what the hell is Deku doing at Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall with those babes?!"
Stunned by Lackey One's statement, Katsuki was silent for a moment before he started growling, "What did you fucking say?"
Seemingly unaware of Katsuki's anger, Lackey One showed his phone to Katsuki and the other lackey (henceforth named Lackey Two) an image of a tall muscular young woman lifting a girl with a tadpole-like tail into the air in a pose that reminded some people of a famous animated pre-quirk era film known as 'The Lion King'. Standing next to the tall and muscular young woman was none other than Izuku, the boy whom Katsuki had deemed to be a worthless "Deku" for years.
"Are you sure those ladies are actually with Deku?" asked Lackey Two who was quite certain that Izuku lacked the courage to even talk to a girl let alone ones as imposing as the three tall young women in the picture. He was so shocked by the fact that Izuku was even in the same picture as three young women, including one who could easily be mistaken for a literal angel, that he did not even care that the picture was meant to be a comical meme picture based on the film.
"I thought so too until I saw the other one!" said Lackey One.
Katsuki, who had always hated Izuku ever since the quirkless boy that dared to try helping him after he fell into a certain river so many years ago, felt his already bad temper worsen exponentially as he glared at the second picture. It was clearly a picture of Izuku leaving a clothes shop that was owned by a transgender woman with not only the three tall young women in the first picture but also Izuku's mother and three more tall young women. Even more infuriating for the ash-blond boy however was the fact that Izuku did not look nervous or scared around the six imposing young women and actually seemed comfortable around them as though he was somehow their equal as a human being.
In Katsuki's personal opinion, Izuku had always been and would always be a useless piece of thrash due to being quirkless.
"You think it has anything to do with Deku not coming to school since a few days ago?" asked Lackey Two.
"Maybe, but what can be so important that the police and pro-heroes actually want that useless Deku around?" asked Lackey One.
"Who the fuck cares?!" yelled Katsuki before he added, "That quirkless fucker actually dares to think that he's now too good to 'grace us' with his worthless ass now that he he's involved with those fucking bitches!"
Intimidated by Katsuki's furious outburst, Lackey Two nervously asked Lackey One, "So… do you know where they are staying at right now?"
"G-give me a second," said Lackey One who did a quick search before getting a response that made him widen his eyes. His face paled as he added, "Oh… shit!"
"What?" asked Lackey Two.
"They… they're staying at U.A. High School," said Lackey One.
"U.A. High School… as in THE best hero high school in all of Japan, the same school that All Might himself graduated from?!" exclaimed Lackey Two.
Lackey One nodded as he showed a news article that explained how a "certain civilian" was able to find and calm down one of the six girls who had experienced a traumatic experience that made her go berserk. The article also explained that the six girls would stay at U.A. High School as wards of the school together the "certain civilian" and his family as the girls' custodians. It did not take long for all three boys to come to the same conclusion: Izuku, the boy whom basically everyone at Aldera Junior High had either bullied or ignored for years, had somehow been involved in something important enough to get Nedzu involved personally and was presently staying at the best hero school in all of Japan.
"T-this is bad… Really fucking bad!" said Lackey Two who was beginning to panic as he continued to speak, "W-we've been putting that worthless Deku in his place for years now. I-if he says even a word of what we have done to him, we're fucking screwed!"
Katsuki's rapidly rising anger suddenly deflated as he realised with growing dread that Lackey Two had a point. Izuku did not simply get directly involved with the police or the pro-heroes. He was literally deemed as someone who, for reasons that Katsuki and his two Lackeys simply could not comprehend, was deemed as worthy enough to help keep watch over the six girls as their custodian. Even worse, Izuku could easily talk to Nedzu, the principal of U.A. High School about the bullying that he had no choice but to endure for years thereby effectively ruining the futures of everyone who had ever bullied him.
As one of Izuku's worst tormentors, who also wanted to become the next No.1 pro-hero even greater than All Might, Katsuki started to hyperventilate before he yelled skyward while explosions started popping out of his sweaty hands, "FUUUCK!" His skyward scream and explosions could be heard from a few blocks away.
-Elsewhere, in a run-down apartment…-
"This… is unexpected," said Magnus who was currently staring at a mobile phone that reminded her of the data-slates that were used back in her original universe.
"Well, at least we now know what those six have been up to," said a beautiful girl with silver-grey hair and purple eyes named Fulgrim. She, like Magnus, was staring at the picture of Angron lifting a small girl into the air in a pose that seemed to remind some people of a pre-quirk era film that included talking animals and a baboon holding a lion cub high into the air.
"Hey, can I have my phone back now?" grumbled a man with blond hair, gray-blue eyes and large scar splitting his forehead named Bubaigawara Jin. He then suddenly said in self-contradiction, "You girls can go ahead and keep using it!"
Fulgrim glanced at the clearly mentally unstable man and mentally asked, "Is he REALLY the best we can get?"
Magnus sighed as she telepathically replied, "Given the fact that he's willing to help us, 'fellow rejects of society' in spite of us offering little in return, I honestly don't know if there is anyone better for us to stay with." She then gave the mobile phone back to Magnus and said, "Here's your phone, Bubaigawara-san. If you receive any more news about these six girls, kindly let us know."
In theory, Fulgrim could use her beauty and ability to charm people, especially the opposite sex, into helping her and the other three former traitor primarchs. However, Magnus advised against it as she wanted Fulgrim to use it as a trump card in case their situation went pear-shaped. Besides, Jin was genuine in wanting to help the girls and, as a former daemon prince of the dark god of change, knowledge, ambition and lies, Tzeentch, Magnus knew that getting such sincere help was a luxury that should be, if not appreciated or even treasured, then used as wisely as possible.
"If I have got nothing else better to do, sure,"said Jin who then contradicted himself, "Hell no, I'm a busy dude with an important job!"
Suddenly, a knock could be heard followed by a bitter voice that said, "We're back."
Recognising Mortarion's voice, Fulgrim opened the door and said, "That was surprisingly quick, Mortarion."
Mortarion, who had sickly-pale skin and grey hair, huffed and said, "There was a villain attack at the area. We had to leave the place before the pro-heroes appeared." Magnus nodded at Mortarion as the four former traitor primarchs had decided to lay low so that they would not be captured and questioned by the pro-heroes. Given the fact that the six former primarchs whom they had already met a few days ago were already under the care of the pro-heroes, the decision to lay low was clearly a wise one.
A tomboyish-looking girl with short dark iron-grey hair named Perturabo asked, "What about you two? Did you find anything of interest on the local noosphere?"
"Well, those six girls whom we met that day have apparently started staying at a supposedly famous 'scholam' known as U.A. High School," explained Magnus. They have even been sighted going shopping with one of the teachers of the scholam.
"What of the boy who somehow tamed Angron?" asked Mortarion.
"He's with them as well," confirmed Magnus.
"I still can't believe that Angron has not only aligned herself with those loyalists but, as far we know, hasn't even tried to kill anyone yet," grumbled Perturabo.
"As I have explained before, her mind's likely changed drastically after gaining a body that is free of both Khorne's influence and the Butcher's Nails," said Magnus.
"Even if that's the case, one does not simply forget a lifetime of pain and hatred," argued Mortarion who had not forgotten her feelings of bitter resentment towards not only her own creator, the Emperor, but also the millennia she was forced to serve the chaos god of disease, despair, death and rebirth, Nurgle.
"Regardless, we at least now know where those six are and I doubt they will knowingly do anything that would bring the attention of the Ruinous Powers to this world," said Magnus who was basically the leader of the group. She then added, "For now, we will need to focus on locating the other primarchs, especially Lorgar, Horus, Alpharius and the two 'lost primarchs'."
"While I agree with locating the first three on the list, I must ask why we should be concerned about the two lost ones." said Fulgrim.
"Think about it, if the Emperor was willing to wipe out the very memory of their existence from even our minds, then it stands to reason that they were involved in something that displeased him greatly," explained Magnus who then narrowed her eyes and asked, "Are you three really willing to bet that Chaos was not involved in some way with at least one of them?"
The three other girls did not bother to even consider disagreeing with Magnus' reasoning as they nodded in common understanding.
As the four former traitor primarchs discussed, Jin wore a deadpan expression and thought, "I may be crazy, but I'm neither deaf nor stupid." Even the voice in Jin's fractured mind seemed to agree with him as it mentally added, "I don't even want to know any of this bad mojo!"
Magnus, who could read Jin's mind, almost sighed as she thought, "You have no idea…"
-Later that evening, inside Nedzu's office…-
Angron tilted her head as she stared at the picture of herself holding Satsuki high in the air and said in confusion, "I don't understand what's so funny about it."
Inko, who was aware that Angron and the other former primarchs were probably not familiar with memes and "ancient animated films", chuckled and said, "We'll watch 'The Lion King' later tonight, Angron-chan."
Nedzu, who was also amused, smiled as he spoke to Sanguinius, "While I have anticipated the possibility of your six attracting attention during your shopping trip, I was not expecting you to become so famous so soon."
Indeed, besides Angron's picture, there were many other pictures of the six former primarchs including a picture of Vulkan holding a blistering hot plate with her bare hands and Sanguinius holding some art supplies in her hands. There was even an internet post that claimed that Izuku was a "lucky ballsy bastard" for having seen the six "sexy babes" naked before.
"While I understand that you have never intended to keep us a secret from the rest of the world, I must ask if you really have only one reason for letting the local people know about us even after keeping many truths hidden by both omissions and half-truths" said Sanguinius. On the day before, after the former primarchs' meeting with the HPSC, Nedzu made a public announcement to explain how Izuku, who was dubbed as a "certain civilian" at the time, had found the six girls who were in urgent need of help. Nedzu also explained that the girls had recently experienced a traumatic event that caused them to suffer from memory issues and be displaced from somewhere else thus "explaining" why the girls needed help in the first place. It did not take long for people to realise that the six girls whom Nedzu had mentioned previously were probably the same ones that were seen shopping at Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall.
"I will admit that I actually have more than one reason for making that announcement," replied Nedzu who then explained, "Firstly, as I had already mentioned before I made that announcement, by allowing people know that you six exist, they will be less likely to panic if anything happens involving any of you. As for the other reason, which I chose to keep to myself back then, I believe that doing so will allow any former primarchs who need aid know that they can approach this school for help."
All six former primarchs wore doubtful expressions as Russ said sarcastically, "Yeah… and Lorgar will start worshipping the Emperor as a god again."
Not missing the sarcasm, Nedzu asked rhetorically, "You doubt that any of them will willingly come to us for help, don't you?"
"At the very least, the rest of then former traitor primarchs most likely won't," said Dorn who then added, "As for the remaining former loyalist primarchs, at least one of them will sooner work towards building a new country than come to any of us for help."
Russ nodded and said, "The Lion has always been unfriendly even at the best of times. I wouldn't put it past him refusing to trust any of the 'local abhumans'."
"The fact that he was once betrayed by someone whom he truly trusted in the past will make any attempt to gain his trust all that much harder," said Vulkan who recalled how Lion El'Jonson, the primarch of the Dark Angels space marines, had been betrayed by someone who was essentially his surrogate father and mentor, Luther. Even if Luther eventually regretted his act of betrayal, not even the other primarchs knew if the Lion would even consider forgiving him.
"I was once one of the traitor primarchs," said Angron who then added, "He will sooner attack other former loyalists than trust me."
"What about the other loyalists?" asked Izuku.
"Guilliman may consider joining forces with us but he is also someone who is obsessed with control and orthodoxy," said Jaghatai.
"Ending up in an alternate version of Terra that is populated by an impossibly wide variety of abhumans, never mind being reborn in different body of the opposite gender, is not something that any of us could have planned for," said Vulkan who was quite certain that even the likes of the Emperor and the chaos gods had failed to anticipate such a scenario for the former primarchs.
"In other words, assuming that Guilliman is still as predictable as ever, he will only reveal himself after getting at least some level of control over the unprecedented situation," said Russ.
"His obsession with orthodoxy will also make him reluctant to trust Angron and, by extension, us as well," said Sanguinius.
"Daemon princes are not exactly known for turning back into their original selves," said Dorn.
Angron nodded in affirmative and said, "The dark gods would have never allowed it."
"Corax has always been someone who worked well alone and I doubt coming to this world will change that," said Dorn.
"There's also his vendetta against Lorgar," said Vulkan.
Angron nodded and said, "If he knows that Lorgar is present on this world, he won't hesitate to hunt him down again even if it means, in accordance to the standards of this world, becoming a vigilante or a villain in the process."
"Assuming that he is somehow alive in this world like Sanguinius, Ferrus may consider joining us but he's just as likely to go on a one-man crusade to kill Fulgrim not unlike Corax," said Jaghatai.
"Basically, due to personal reasons, the other loyalist primarchs are more likely to form their own groups than come to us for help even after knowing that the six of you are here," concluded Nedzu.
"That's the long and short of it," confirmed Russ.
"So what are the chances of all the remaining loyalists forming their own 'vigilante gang'?" asked Nedzu.
"Well, assuming that they somehow ended together as a group like we were, the chances are actually quite high," said Vulkan.
-Meanwhile, in the Kiyashi Ward…-
Four girls, who were dressed in clothes that were clearly not fitting them well, sneezed simultaneously.
One of them, a girl with blue eyes and boyish short blond hair named Roboute Guilliman, rubbed her nose and said in English, "Assuming that everything which we know since entering this version of Terra is true, it is clear that six of our former brothers are now staying at U.A. High School." She then frowned and thought, "The sooner we acquire a proper shelter, the better. These abhuman bodies are clearly inferior to our original bodies."
The second girl, who had tawny-blond hair, green eyes and a seemingly perpetual frown on her face, said, "What I do not understand is why our fellow loyalists are willing to actually tolerate one of the traitors of the Emperor." Known as Lion El'Jonson, she was a firm believer that loyalty was its own reward and saw no reason to question the grim phrase, "The rewards of tolerance are treachery and betrayal."
A tomboyish girl with black hair and arms that were covered in metallic skin named Ferrus Manus frowned and said, "I'm more concerned about that boy who found them and somehow managed to make them get along with Angron of all primarchs." Although Ferrus did not despise Angron as much as she despised Fulgrim, there was no doubt that Angron was widely despised even before the Horus Heresy during her past life. Ferrus then turned her attention towards a girl with pale skin, raven-black hair and black eyes named Corvus Corax and asked, "Are you certain that he did not use any kind of abhuman ability or heretical sorcery on our former loyalist brothers?"
Corax, who was scavenging for supplies at Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall when she met Izuku's group by chance, answered, "As far as I am aware, he did not use any form of heretical sorcery on of our loyalist brothers or even Angron. The same can be said for both his mother and the other woman who was with them." She then tilted her head in thought and admitted, "As for abhuman abilities, I do not think that the boy used any but I suspect that his mother must have used it to somehow convince Angron to wear a pink frilly dress."
A moment of dumbstruck silence passed before Guilliman, who was resisting the sudden urge to clean out her ears to somehow improve her hearing, asked, "Can you please repeat that last part? I could have sworn that you said that Angron was somehow convinced to wear a pink frilly dress."
Corax nodded and replied, "As unbelievable as it sounds, that's exactly what happened." The silence that followed as undeniably awkward as the other three former primarchs struggled to imagine Angron, both as a primarch and a daemon prince, wearing a pink frilly dress without losing their composure or sanity. Corax felt some sympathy towards them as she endured the same suffering after actually seeing Angron, who was admittedly an abhuman girl at the time, in the said dress.
The Lion broke the silence by saying, "This version of Terra is even more insane than I have feared."
"I am not one to consider the Emperor as a god, but I have the sinking feeling that we may have to start praying to him to somehow possess the mental strength we will undoubtedly need to retain our sanity," said Guilliman who was rapidly developing a headache.
Corax sighed and said, "I can already hear Lorgar gloating at our plight."
-Meanwhile, at a seedy bar…-
A girl with yellow eyes that seemed to glow, white hair and a seemingly pure and innocent face, suddenly sneezed while wiping a glass. She was also currently dressed in a bartender's uniform.
"That's fucking disgusting," said a slim man with deathly pale skin, chapped lips, a small mole under the the right side of his lower lip, wrinkles around his red eyes and messy greyish-blue hair named Shigaraki Tomura.
The white-haired girl glared at Tomura with a pout and said, "And you're still sorely lacking in manners, Shigaraki."
Tomura rolled his eyes and said, "I'll start paying attention to my manners around you when you start proving to me that your… 'Primordial Truth' isn't a steaming load of neo-satanic bullshit."
A humanoid mass of seemingly formless black mist with glowing yellow eyes, who was also dressed in a bartender's suit, sighed and said, "Shigaraki, Lorgar's our guest and comrade. Besides, her choice of religion aside, our Master has already confirmed that she has spoken the truth about her past life."
Tomura scoffed and said, "I know that, Kurogiri, but that does not change the fact that she's an overzealous 'white mage' who will gladly bend over for her gods if she believes that doing so will please them."
The white-haired girl named Lorgar blushed in humiliation and anger at Tomura's blatantly disrespectful words and growled, "By Nurgle's rotting bowels, if it wasn't for my limited access to the Warp, I would have you turned into a mindless 'Chaos Spawn' for that insult!"
"And I would have you turned into dust had Master not taken a keen interest in you and your knowledge, brat," growled Tomura. Although Tomura hated the idea of tolerating a religious zealot, who was clearly more loyal to the four Gods of Chaos than to anyone or anything else, her knowledge was simply too valuable to dismiss. True, she was more interested in finding the truth of divinity than studying technology in her past life but even her limited knowledge proved to be invaluable. That was not even counting the possibility that quirks might be linked to the very afterlife itself.
"My current abhuman body aside, I'm literally millennia old!" argued Lorgar who was resisting the urge to start stomping her feet in frustration.
Pleased by Lorgar's growing frustration, Tomura smirked and said, "Whatever you say, loli-hag."
"That insult doesn't even make any sense!" yelled Lorgar who, in spite of being fourteen years old, was nearly two metres tall.
The humanoid mass of black mist named Kurogiri sighed as he thought, "These two are acting like children… or siblings."
-In the primarchs' original universe…-
With the tragic demise of the loyalist primarchs, who had sacrificed themselves to weaken the Great Rift and deprive the Ruinous Powers of their corrupted primarch champions, many loyal citizens of the Imperuim feared that the following days would be filled with grim gloom even more terrible than before. After all, while the forces of Chaos had been weakened, there was still the danger posed by the different xenos races, especially the Orks and Tyranids.
However, no one from the Imperium had expected sporadic dreams of a world inhabited by extremely unusual abhumans and tall young women who somehow bore the very souls of the primarchs. Even more unusual was the fact that the dreams featured Angron who had, for the lack of a better term, somehow been purified of her chaos corruption.
Normally, such dreams would be seen as possible signs of heresy and chaos corruption by various members of the Imperium, especially the Ecclesiarchy and the Inquisition. Such accusations would not have be questioned if the only ones who had experienced the dreams were common imperial citizens who were low-level psykers.
Fortunately for the psykers who had experienced the dreams, even the likes of the loyalist Space Marines, such as the Grey Knights, had experienced them which had led some to believe that the God Emperor of Mankind himself was trying to inform his people of something important through the dreams. Although none of them knew what the dreams were supposed to mean, some believed that the dreams were meant to assure the loyal people of the Imperium that the primarchs were not truly dead and that at least one of them had even been cleansed of the Ruinous Powers. Indeed, the Salamanders felt renewed hope that their primarch, Vulkan, was still alive even after the terrible cataclysmic battle that weakened the Ruinous Powers and would one day return to them. While many loyalist Space Marines felt renewed hope and determination, few felt such emotions more strongly than the Blood Angels and their successor chapters when their librarians saw visions of their beloved primarch, Sanguinius, being alive and well.
While the idea of the Emperor bringing hope through the dreams was quickly accepted by many loyal citizens of the Imperium, absolutely no one really knew why he also gave them a vision of Angron, who was admittedly a girl at the time, wearing a pink frilly dress. Some members of the Inquisition believed that the vision was meant to demoralise the forces of Chaos that were affiliated with Khorne. Given the recent irrational hatred that Khornate Chaos Space Marines had towards pink frilly dresses lately, to the point of blindly charging towards traps or ignoring vital objectives, the theory had at least some merit.
The 42nd Millennium was still a time of war and bloodshed but there was also a faint hope for humanity was a whole.
-End Chapter-
Author's Notes:
I honestly could not resist the idea of a gender-bent Angron wearing a pink frilly dress.
Also, I would like to make clear that this story is still taking place before Izuku becomes a student of U.A. High School in the canon story of 'Boku no Hero Academia'. In fact, it can be argued that this story is set before Izuku even meets All Might in the canon story.
Until next time, go beyond, plus ultra!
