The Earth guys, the Vasilescus, the council members, and the guards who had arrived as reinforcements were facing what seemed to be the ENTIRE Scarlet Moon group, which numbered around 50, if not more, including their leader, Lady Belladonna, who kept smiling sinisterly.
"Well, well, it seems you've already discovered our plan for the necklace, too bad, it was our promotion gift for little Vasilescu." The adult vampire shrugs her shoulders shaking her head. "We thought that when she dies, Donovan the wise might be able to take the blame and be executed for killing an heir, but the senile guy had an undeserved fate."
"Would people really suspect me if the princess had died for the necklace?!" The elderly council leader felt offended, but the indifferent gazes of the Earth guys and the Vasilescu family were fixed like fangs on a neck.
"Well, there would be no shortage of reasons to suspect you." Doraemon exhales tiredly.
"We're not going to let you lay a finger on Selene!" Nobita stands in front of the little vampire, as do Shizuka, Gian and Suneo who receive air cannons from Doraemon who took them out at one point to defend his friend, but they had an added bonus; a curious purple tag.
"Selene is our friend, you can't hurt her!" Shizuka stands firm in protecting her
Suneo trembles but also wanted to protect the platinum girl "Someone as pretty as her isn't going to die in your hands!"
"Send your minions if you want, we'll teach them a lesson for trying to poison her!" Gian threatens the vampires who were allied with the villain.
"Oh no no no no, I'm not planning on just killing the heiress anymore, I'LL ALSO GO FOR THE VAMPIRE KING AND THE COUNCIL, that way no one will get in my way and I'll be the Vampire Queen. Scarlet Moon, eliminate the princess, the earl, the council and their guards! As for the rest, catch them, the human children will be our victory feast! Well, except for the blue raccoon, it has no blood, so it's no good for food." The last thing she says in a mocking tone, making Doraemon angry.
"Ok, that's it! I can't remember how many times this week I said that I wasn't a raccoon! Guys, the air cannons are modified with light charges of vervain, I modified them yesterday when we were talking about the plan, so shoot them in the face and knock them out!" Doraemon also takes out a modified air cannon, puts it on and using the takecopter flies shooting a vampire in the face, who couldn't dodge the cannon shot, coughs and falls.
Everyone is startled to see the robot already tired of everything, all except Nobita who only smiles somewhat uncomfortable, since he was the one who knew him best "Oh man, he's reached that breaking point because they called him that many times" Although later his smile changes to a serious look "Come on, we have to protect Selene and her family!"
The other 3 nod in a determined manner and with the takecopters they fly to face the vampires, with the protective collar and the prolonged effect of the verbena tea, they fought without worrying about being bitten and/or with the risk of being hypnotized.
Selene didn't want to be left behind, she was afraid of Lady Belladonna, but since she decided to mess with her friend that day almost draining him, that fear turned into anger. The girl looks at her cousins and even the older twins wanted to join the battle "Come on guys, we can't let them do all the work for us, we are Vasilescu, let's honor that last name! Zurie, please protect my father, I know you can do it."
"O-okay, they threw vervain at me hours ago, but I think I'm more recovered now, don't worry, I'll protect Uncle Caleb." With that said, Selene along with the twins fly to help the terrestrial guys with the guards joining in the battle.
The platinum girl flies towards Nobita and stands in front of him, the clumsy boy who was using the ray gun and super gloves to knock out the Scarlet Moon vampires is startled by that action, but then sees how his vampire friend puts her hand in front of him smiling at him "Do you want to dance with me again, Nobita?"
At first the silly boy didn't understand, but when he looked into the vampire's eyes, he could understand that it was a different kind of (dance), so he smiles determinedly and takes her hand "Let's go!"
Selene guides Nobita in the air again, but this time, while she hits with her vampire strength, he uses the gun to face the Scarlet Moon vampires, defending each other while dodging some claw blows as if they were dancing, the boy had a hard time getting used to it but thanks to his friend, he avoided being hurt.
The Vampire King just watched as the guards, his family and his allies from Earth defended Amarant against a group that wanted to subdue them. He felt a little envious because he wanted to help, but he knew that in his condition it wasn't possible. Zurie moved the wheelchair as far away as possible with his uncle while preventing the Scarlet Moon from hurting him. He knew he was the weakest of the young people, but he felt that he had to protect him. "I'm a little afraid that my mother will arrive and end up getting hurt, thank goodness she's not here."
And of course, the council members, as the proud millennial elders that they were, moved away to avoid confrontation, especially Donovan who preferred to stay far away. Shizuka noticed that and flew up to them. "What's wrong with you?! Why don't you help us?! Everyone is doing their part to save Amarant!"
"And be hurt by the Scarlet Moon? Never, our knowledge is sacred, we are valuable! Besides, the job of a future queen is to take care of her own, you and Princess Vasilescu don't need us, so take care of them" Donovan puts his hands behind his back looking away like the others.
"But that's not fair!" Doraemon approaches Shizuka who kept asking them for help but is ignored by the council.
"Come on, it's obvious that they're not going to help us, at least not in this" A few pats on the back towards his friend, make her give up, since the robot was right, they couldn't be reasoned with, not even if their lives depended on it, so they walk away while Shizuka looked at them frustrated, a pity.
Lady Belladonna tired of seeing how even with the army she had formed years ago, she was being controlled by her enemies. For someone without a plan, thinking that those children wouldn't be a problem after her action of leaving them alive had played against her, was really not a good idea.
But not for her, she was prepared, she wasn't going to leave without trying her last resort, something she had prepared in advance, so she just waited pretending she was at a disadvantage.
After an intense fight between the inhabitants of Amarant and the children of Earth against the Scarlet Moon, Lady Belladonna's army was finally reduced to two vampires backing her up while the rest were captured thanks mainly to the air cannons with vervain that weakened the evil vampires.
Everyone had some bruises, but since the vampires had a healing effect, it meant nothing to them. On the other hand, Doraemon, Nobita and the others were tired from having fought and helped the Amarantian inhabitants.
"Are you okay? It's obvious that you've had a hard time helping us." The vampiress was looking worriedly at her group of friends from Earth.
"Don't worry Selene, we're fine." Doraemon says.
"We may not have received the help of the council, but we have been able to weaken them to protect you." Shizuka smiles at her friend so that she doesn't worry.
"Thank you for worrying beautiful Selene, but there's nothing that can stop us now." Suneo smiles proudly adjusting his triple peaked hairstyle.
"We've given them what they deserve, there's not much left to finish!" Gian smiles with a thumbs up.
"We'll continue to be on your side Selene. Lady Belladonna will soon fall for her own ego." Nobita smiles at her and she does the same having the trust of everyone.
The two remaining vampires of Scarlet Moon growl and try to attack but the adult vampiress stops them smiling "No." Lady Belladonna turns her attention to Selene "Alright princess, I see that you and your little friends from Earth were able to take control with their strange tricks. But it doesn't matter, you know? Because that's what last minute moves are for.
"This is another gift for you, Moonlight"
The platinum girl is confused by what she said, not about the other gift part, but because she used that nickname, the nickname that her father affectionately called her. "How do you know about that very personal nickname? Why? Who are you?"
The vampiress laughs mercilessly making the little vampiress, her family and her friends from Earth shudder.
"I AM YOU NOW"
From her dress she immediately takes out a small vial with a purple liquid, which catches Zurie's attention. "Is she really going to do what I think she's going to do?!"
"What do you mean?" Suneo asks confused as the villain opens the small vial and ingests the liquid, causing a purple glow to slowly surround her as she smiles.
"I've read theories that magentun can also be used as an enhancer, and that liquid was clearly melted magentun, but that is something dangerous since being a high-energy mineral, it has the possibility of weakening if used as a drug." What Zurie says surprises everyone.
"Lady Belladonna is willing to risk her life just to get what she wants? That's crazy!" Doraemon and the others were shocked by the decisions made by someone just out of desire for power.
"It's a risk I'm willing to take, I'll be fine, I'm a top class vampire, I can handle this new wave of power, and it will be useful for what I need!"
Little by little, the villainous vampire disappeared until only her mask was left levitating in the air, everyone was on alert, but barely a second passed and the mask turned around and as fast as a vampire it directly stuck to Selene's eyes. "This stuck to my face!"
"Selene!" Nobita flies towards her with the takecopter, grabbing the mask trying to pull it but it wouldn't come off "Doraemon, do something!"
"And now?!" Doraemon gets nervous taking random things out of his pocket "This isn't it, this isn't it either, I don't think this will work, aaaaah!"
"Hey kid!" Donovan shouts from below, he seemed to have understood Lady Belladonna's intentions "Get away from her, I've read about vampire spells of yesteryear, it seems Lady Belladonna used the power of the magentun to do a spell of...!"
Nobita feels the hands of the platinum girl grabbing his arms and laughing with an adult woman's voice, which makes everyone pale. "Yes, human boy..."
The mask's eyes were shining with a deep red glow, Selene's smile went from being the most trustworthy and warm, to a sinister and mocking one "Stay away from me, if you don't want to die"
Selene's hands began to turn into claws breaking the gloves into pieces and her bat wings grew larger, the same claws that dug into the arms of the clumsy boy, who lets out a cry of pain when he feels the girl's nails digging into his arms while she smiled maliciously at him "Oops, my bad"
"NOBITA!" Doraemon shouts, Gian flies towards his friend in trouble and manages to free him from the clutches of... Selene? So to speak, she breaks the long sleeves of the jacket at the same time that she backs away from the two vampires. Immediately Doraemon and the others approach Nobita and Gian, they see how he had claw marks stuck in his arms and blood coming out.
The funny thing is that Selene wasn't affected by coming into contact with Nobita's blood, even with the vervain in his system. Shizuka is horrified to see her friend injured, so everyone gets down to the ground and quickly treats the wounds before the vampires go crazy with the blood.
With the doctor's bag, the wounds on each arm were treated and bandaged. "Are you better?" asks Doraemon to which Nobita nods, but he was still feeling the pain, as if he had been stabbed with kitchen knives in each arm.
"Yeah. Not really, this hurts horribly!" says the silly boy, crying. "But what happened to Selene? Why did she attack me? And why didn't the vervain or the protection of the necklace work this time?"
"Children, you never understand and you will never understand. This possession spell allowed me to take control of the princess's body. I feel like 300 years younger." The giggles of Lady Belladonna's adult female voice came from Selene's lips. "I'm also sharing the power of the magentun with this girl's body. And with this power, neither vervain nor any other trick will hurt me!"
"Let my daughter go, you creepy creature!" Caleb screams, showing his eyes red with rage and desperation, a reasonable mix knowing that his girl was being possessed and he couldn't save her being sick.
"I'm afraid I'll borrow her from you for a while, I can hear her crying inside my head wanting to get her body back, but she won't be able to do anything against my power." With the cynical and malicious smile that characterizes her, Selene, or rather Lady Belladonna, licks her fingers with the blood she acquired by hurting Nobita, then licks her lips.
"I'm going to really enjoy killing the Vampire King with his little daughter's claws and devouring you and your friends with this body, then I'll make her stake herself to finish this brat off, and when she's dead I'll get out of this body... AND I'LL FINALLY BE THE VAMPIRE QUEEN, NO ONE WILL STOP ME FROM TURNING THE ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM INTO OUR BLOOD BANK, MUAHAHAHAHAHA!"
