Batista and Selena Sky to Be Inducted Into the WWE Hall of Fame

STAMFORD, Conn.— (Business Wire) — WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced that Batista and Selena Sky will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, April 5, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA as part ofWrestleManiaWeek.
Batista is a six-time World Champion and pop culture phenomenon. Throughout his dominant career, "The Animal" had memorable matches with some of the biggest names in WWE history including John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, Triple H, and The Undertaker. Batista is also a founding member of the groundbreaking faction Evolution, alongside two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Rio, and Triple H. Batista retired from in-ring competition in 2019, competing for the final time against Triple H at WrestleMania. Outside the ring, Batista has successfully conquered Hollywood, appearing in box office hitsSpectre, Stuber, and Marvel's blockbusterGuardians of the GalaxyandAvengersfilms.
Selena Sky is a three-time Women's Champion, and the first woman to hold theSmackDownWomen's Championship when it was introduced in 2004, defeating future pop culture superstar Rio Batista. Selena captivated fans and future WWE Superstars around the world and was an integral part of the earlySmackDownWomen's division. A resourceful underdog with a never-say-die attitude, Selena competed against some of the biggest names in women's wrestling, including the aforementioned Rio, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, Natalya, Michelle McCool, and Maryse. Selena retired from wrestling in the summer of 2010 after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle car accident.

Tickets for the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony are available this Friday, December 15, at 12 Noon ET through all Ticketmaster outlets, or at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.
