Santana scowled at her parents who sat in front of her looking just as unimpressed. She had her arms folded across her chest defensively and her eyebrows raised on her forehead in disbelief. This wasn't an uncommon occurrence for all involved, but somehow, each time it happened it successfully pissed her off just as much as the last.

Because who wanted to admit to their parents that they are totally and utterly whipped by their girlfriend, and that is solely the reason why they end up in these kinds of situations?

But who was she kidding? Santana had been whipped for Brittany since they met when they were five years old. Santana knew it, Brittany knew it, their parents knew it. In fact, everybody who had ever seen them together knew it.

You see, Santana and Brittany were always complete opposites that attracted almost magnetically.

Santana had such a hard exterior, finding it hard to express emotions and open up, whereas Brittany had never been afraid of wearing her heart on her sleeve and shouting her feelings out loud. But somewhere along the lines, parts of their personalities became blurred together. "You're a product of your environment, the people around you and the people you love. We naturally put pieces of ourselves into those we love, for them to keep safe and protect us." Santana remembered hearing her dad say one time, and it stuck with her and had described her and Brittany perfectly.

The infectious kindness and positivity that Brittany constantly put out into the world naturally softened Santana, and Santana made sure to protect Brittany's warmth with everything she had. Somehow along the way, Brittany taught her to embrace all of her emotions and listen to her feelings.

But Brittany's bubbly personality didn't mean that she didn't like to cause trouble.

Because, Santana naturally rubbed off on Brittany too, and Brittany also did everything she could to protect Santana and make her happy. Even if that did mean sometimes getting into some fucked up situations.

Santana chanced a glance at Brittany who was sitting closely beside her, close enough that their thighs were squished together and she was practically almost sitting on Santana's lap. Brittany had a small smile playing on her lips, hidden from her parents as she had dropped her head to look at her hands in her lap, and Santana had to inhale a deep breath to stop herself from giggling.

Obviously, she wasn't doing as well as Brittany at hiding her amusement and the glare being given to her deepened. "Santana, I don't find this amusing at all. You could have gotten arrested or worse, somebody could have gotten hurt!" Emilio Lopez chastised, his voice firm and Santana cringed because of it.

Brittany frowned and looked at Santana's parents, "but they didn't, Papa L!" She insisted, a bit confused about why this was a big deal when nobody did in fact actually get hurt. Santana smiled adoringly at Brittany's attempt to cool her Papi's temper, and then nodded in agreement.

That was probably the worst thing she could have done, because in an instant she noticed the slight flare of his nostrils. "Girls, this is serious," Maribel tried to defuse the situation, which was also a common occurrence.

Santana huffed, "you said this last time and nothing happened!" She was fed up with the conversation, and her body language screamed it as she slumped against the back of the chair with a loud groan. Brittany's elbow warningly nudged into her side, "ow, Britt, what the fuck was that for?"

Brittany sent her a look and silently glanced back to her parents, seemingly speaking through her eyes. Santana rubbed her side and pouted a little, and Brittany just rolled her eyes in response. "Shh, you're making it worse," she whispered in a hushed voice so only Santana could hear.

Emilio and Maribel watched the pair in front of them get lost in their own world with disbelief, because it didn't seem like too long ago when they last found themselves in a similar situation because of their daughter and Brittany causing some kind of trouble. Yet, Santana and Brittany were as oblivious as ever.

Brittany silently told Santana to let her take this and gently squeezed her leg, turning back to Santana's parents across from them. "I'm sorry, it was all my fault," she began, her bottom lip jutting out in the way that had all the Lopez's wrapped around her finger. Maribel sighed deeply and quickly avoided looking at Brittany, because they were just as quick to give into her pout as Santana was.

Emilio watched his wife's stance falter and eye-rolled identically to his daughter. "Brittany, I doubt it was all you. I don't think you would think of doing all of that on your own!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Santana ignored Brittany's look and glared back at her dad, whose eyebrows suddenly raised halfway up his forehead.

"Santana!" He warned her but then softened a little when he noticed Santana's protective arm around Brittany, only slightly though. "I meant exactly what I said! I don't think that Brittany would come up with an elaborate plan to steal all of the breadsticks from BreadstiX all on her own!"

Brittany sniggered, but then coughed in an attempt to hide it from the fuming parents while Santana scoffed. "Well you're wrong!" Santana defended herself, and her girlfriend, because everybody always underestimated her and also probably overestimated her.

Nobody ever suspected that Brittany would have her own little super secret Snix hidden inside her. Santana couldn't understand why when Brittany and her had been inseparable since they were five and obviously they had rubbed off on each other along the years, especially the last few.

Just wanky. Santana grinned at the thought and then cleared her throat, turning back serious in a last attempt to worm them out of this mess.

"Actually they aren't really that wrong," Brittany disagreed, and then shrugged a little. "I just told San that I wanted payback because they wouldn't give us that wheelbarrow full last time. I wanted to make her happy and give her what makes her happy. After I told San that we made the plan together!"

"Brittany!" Santana hissed with widened eyes and Brittany just looked at her obliviously. She softened and corrected herself, "Britt- just let's not, baby."

She took a deep breath and then turned to smile sickeningly sweetly at Maribel and Emilio, who just looked at them both in silence as the conversation fully registered. Sometimes they were completely gobsmacked because of the two girls and what trouble they caused together, but each time managed to leave them watching with a new understanding of how deeply Santana and Brittany cared for each other.

"Look, she pulled out the freaking pout and you know how good she is at that shit!" Santana whined, finally giving up trying to defend the situation as Brittany had basically given it all up already. "She sounded so cute and she just wanted to do something nice and get me endless amounts of breadsticks, it was sweet! It always sounds like a good idea at the time."

"Sweet?" Maribel pinched her nose as she shook her head, but Santana could see a hit of a smile breaking out onto her lips.

Brittany nudged her more subtly this time, indicating that she had noticed Maribel softening and that she was going to take over. "I'm so sorry, Mama L, San just looked so sad the last time they wouldn't let her take those breadsticks and I wanted her to have them."

"Where the fuck are we going to put all of those breadsticks?" Emilio questioned with a groan, looking at his wife and pointing his finger to the side of the room.

Two wheelbarrows each filled with bags of breadsticks piled up against each other was situated in the middle of the room, and Santana looked at them with so much joy that Maribel's facade fully cracked and she let out a loud laugh. But she quickly covered it with a cough when Emilio glared her slightly, and he sighed, "Mi hijas, listen. You can't just go around Lima stealing, I know you're both better than that! While I applaud the extent you both go to, to see each other happy, I also don't want to see either of you get arrested. Especially around here where we've worked hard to get good jobs to pay for your Florida fund for after graduation."

"I was going to take them up to my room for a snack…" Santana admitted, looking at her dad with a guilty frown. Brittany giggled slightly beside her, cuddling into her side, knowing that Santana had control over the conversation. "How about I take half to my room and you can have the other half to take to the food donation charity this weekend when you go? Britt and I will also write an apology letter to the manager."

She knew that it was risky but she looked between Brittany cuddling into her and the breadsticks, then across to her parents. Santana decided then that she really wanted to just go to her room and cuddle with Brittany and snack on breadsticks together.

Emilio pondered the idea for a second and then chuckled, "you've got a deal. But I'm so serious this time, Tana, and you too Bee, this is the last of this shit. I don't want anymore trouble!"

"But we didn't even get caught!" Brittany added with a triumphant smile. "We were like super badass ninjas, totally awesome!"

"Not what they want to hear, B!" Santana smiled nervously and abruptly stood up, pulling Brittany up with her. "Nice doing business with you, Papi… we promise we'll be good!" She smiled widely and then turned to her girlfriend, "help me take this one wheelbarrow upstairs and let's leave Mami and Papi to enjoy their unexpected evening off work!"

Brittany and Santana waved awkwardly as they shuffled to grab two of the bags each and then darted off to the stairs. Emilio and Maribel were left in silence for a few moments, sharing a knowing glance and letting out a small laugh. "Every time they manage to outdo themselves! They are so lucky they never get caught!"

"Yet somehow every-time they get caught by us or the pierces!" Emilio shakes his head, and then nods to the remaining pile of breadsticks. "At least she let me donate half of them. I'll return them to BreadstiX on my way to work tomorrow instead with an apology and then we'll all go for dinner there while Brittany and Santana apologise too!" Maribel nodded with a smile an he kissed her cheek, "I'll let her have the wheelbarrow they should have technically given her last time, albeit not that much."

Meanwhile, Santana and Brittany burst into giggles as soon as they fell onto Santana's bed. The large bags of breadsticks surrounded them as they laid on their backs, staring up at the ceiling.

"The Snix and Brittz great BreadstiX heist is complete, m'lady!" Brittany gushed, turning to her side slightly and propping herself up on her elbow to look down at Santana dreamily.

"You're so silly, Britt-Britt!" Santana laughed, rolling her eyes but smiling bashfully.

Brittany returned the smile, her cheeks turning rosy as she shyly leaned her forehead against Santana's. Her body shuffled closer to Santana's and her free hand reached to her hip, pulling her onto her side and flush against her. Santana's breathing hitched at Brittany's sudden closeness and her eyes automatically closed as Brittany filled all of her senses.

Seeing Santana's response from her touch, she smiled shyly and slowly trailed her fingertips from Santana's hip, dancing them up to her hand before guiding them up her exposed skin to come and rest on flustered cheeks. Santana had goosebumps on her skin from Brittany's touch, which confused her because Brittany's touch also made it feel like her skin was on fire.

"You were so sexy being all badass today," Brittany breathed out. Santana couldn't help but whimper because Brittany was so close that when she spoke, her breath hit softly against Santana's lips.

Santana shivered, her eyes fluttering open to see Brittany staring at her with that adoring look in her eyes that always made her feel safe. "Thank you for getting them for me. My lady night in shining armour, always taking care of me!" Santana giggled, leaning her head further into Brittany's hand that was resting on her cheek.

"I'll always take care of you, just like you always take care of me," Brittany told Santana with so much certainty that she almost sobbed and if Brittany didn't kiss her straight after saying it, she probably would have.

Instead, Santana hummed with surprise from the kiss but eagerly welcomed it and wrapped her arm around Brittany to pull her impossibly closer. The kiss was slow and intimate, everything that made them feel that much more in love.

"I can't wait to move to Florida together," Santana mumbled after the long slow kiss, a little bit breathless and flustered.

"Me either! I can't believe it, we've been planning this since we were 14 and we went on summer vacation there." Brittany smiled widely the more she spoke, their foreheads gently pressed together. They locked eyes and Santana grinned at the memory of that summer vacation, "the same vacation where we kissed for the first time."

"And I haven't stopped kissing you since!" Santana chuckled and then dropped her eyes hungrily down to Brittany's lips. She felt a warmth in her stomach when Brittany licked them and smirked, "wanna do it some more?"

As Brittany nodded with a grin, Santana leaned a bit more over her, kissing her soft and slow. "Hmm, San," Brittany mumbled, and Santana hummed against her lips, then swirled her tongue into Brittany's. "Sanny," she tried against, as Santana pulled her body further on top and giggled. "Santa-"

"Britt," Santana whined, "I thought we were getting our mack on?"

"We can but let's not crush all of our hard work, baby," Brittany laughed and motioned to the bags of breadsticks on the bed with them. "As much as I love the idea of us getting it on on top of our treasure, making out on top of crushed breadsticks just seems a bit painful and actually a little bit uncomfortable now that I'm thinking of it."

Santana raised a singular eyebrow. "Britt, I'm saying this because I love you so much, but please shut up and kiss me. Look, problem solved!" Santana proved her point by quickly pushing the bags of breadsticks off of her bed and onto the floor.

"Genius!" Brittany giggled, rolling back on top of Santana and moving to pin her arms over her head. "Now, where were we?"

The Day After

At the end of school the next day, Brittany silently dragged Santana into the choir room as the darker haired girl grumbled under her breath but allowed it to happen anyway.

Santana always wondered how Brittany always seemed collected on the outside. Nobody could even tell that she was stressing out just as badly, nobody but Santana and Quinn, maybe. But Santana, she could tell from just how firmly Brittany's hand pulled her towards their seats, and how her cheeks were so flushed without even making out before glee club. Santana on the other hand, although she was typically hard to read, there was one emotion that everybody knew of Santana's, and that was pissed off.

They had just received a message from their parents telling them about the dinner tonight at BreadstiX and Santana was dreading it. Usually, she'd be glad for any opportunity to have her Stix but she knew that her parents had something in store for them tonight.

This was how it usually worked when they caused some trouble and pissed off their parents. The Lopez's or Pierce's would seemingly "forgive" them and let it go, and then low and behold, they would somehow come up with a perfect plan between them as a form of punishment, in the hopes that it would put them off causing anymore trouble. It would work, for a while anyway, until Brittany came up with one of her mischievous ideas and was making Santana agree with just a pout of her lips.

Brittany pulled them to their usual seats in the back row of the choir room and Santana slumped down onto the seat beside her with her arms folded across her chest in annoyance.

"You're both here on time… Who set off Snix?" Quinn asked cautiously from her seat beside them, looking at her two fellow Cheerios who were silently fuming.

Quinn was the only person in the school that could read Brittany and Santana so well, and she knew something was wrong because they were here so early instead of having their usual before glee club make out session in the Cheerios locker room. She also knew just how much they looked forward to those make out sessions, so for the two girls be sat next to her and not getting a bit too carried away with each other in the locker room, she was curious.

"Nobody," Santana mumbled. Her frown relaxed slightly when Brittany wrapped her arm around her shoulders and pulled her further into her side, effectively calming them both.

"It doesn't look like nobody," Quinn pressed, raising one of her perfectly plucked eyebrows. The rest of the glee club were looking at them curiously and silently waited for an explanation.

Everybody knew Quinn was the best bet of getting sense out of the two girls.

It didn't take long, because Brittany was always one to spill the gossip in a matter of seconds, especially because she was also internally freaking out. "San is just grumpy because our moms have just messaged us in the family group chat to tell us we're having a family dinner tonight at BreadstiX."

Mercedes frowned in confusion, "but you guys love BreadstiX so what's the problem?"

"You guys have a family group chat with both of your parents?" Finn asked, making Santana roll her eyes and groan loudly.

"I love BreadstiX, but not when we're taken there as a punishment!" She told them. "And yes we have a family group chat, we've been best friends since we were five. Don't see why that matters."

"San and I did a heist!" Brittany beamed widely, a big smile on her face, which made Santana loosen up a bit more and a small smile tug at the corner of her lips. "It was so cool! We had walkie-talkies and hid like ninjas."

Everybody stared at them like they had lost their minds, Santana thought she actually had lost her mind because Brittany was telling the glee club about their super secret heist so casually.

"Britt!" Santana quickly nudged her and shook her head, "I thought it was a secret mission?"

"Oh, fuck!" Brittany muttered, then zipped her lips. "Sorry guys, I can't tell you anything else about the secret mission. San said nobody can ever find out. But wait-" she turned to Santana with a confused frown, "San, our parents already found out about it so our secret mission isn't a secret mission anymore anyway!"

Santana fought the urge to smile and moved to pull Brittany onto her lap. "I know Britt-Britt, but that was an accident and why we have to go to this god-awful dinner tonight with them!"

"But- but you've already started telling us!" Rachel looked at Santana and Brittany with disbelief and wonder. She always found it fascinating to watch the two girls together.

Santana shrugged, "doesn't mean we gotta tell you anything else, Berry."

"But-" Puck butted in, and Santana just rose her hand to silence him.

"But nothing. Nobody needs to know!" The finality in Santana's voice shut everybody up instantly and even though their minds were swirling with curious thoughts and possibilities, they didn't dare to ask any further questions.

Quinn looked at her two best friends with suspicion, but luckily for Santana and Brittany, Mr Shue decided to walk through the door in that moment. "Right! Ready for today's lesson?" He looked up briefly, his eyes widening, "oh, Santana, Brittany! You're on time today!"

Brittany tilted her head slightly, "we're always on time. Maybe everyone else is just always early."

Santana stiffed an amused laugh at her teachers unimpressed expression, turning to hide her face in Brittany's neck. "You're lucky we're here at all. We're in mourning…" she told him.

His unimpressed face didn't shift, "and what are you two mourning exactly?"

"The loss of our lives when our parents torture us to death at dinner tonight!" She groaned, making a few others in the room chuckle. "And quite frankly Mr Shue, you can just put us out of our misery and bore us to death right now with another lesson about a singer none of us have even heard of."

"San, don't be mean to Mr Shue," Brittany told her, looking at her girlfriend with a disapproving look.

"I wasn't!" Santana tried to defend herself. But when Brittany gave her a familiar pointed look and a raised eyebrow, she huffed, "fine, I was."

"Say sorry," Santana pulled away from Brittany and just looked between her favourite ocean eyes and her teacher, who stared between them both expectantly.

With a mumble under her breath, Santana sighed and plastered a fake smile. "I am so so sorry, Mr Shue, please forgive me!" She looked back to Brittany, "happy?"

Brittany grinned and opened her arms for Santana to take back her place buried into her side, "yup! Now come snuggle so we can get through this last glee club before we die tonight."

"Well shit, Lopez, everyday you prove even more just how whipped you are!" Puck laughed, and Santana glared at him from her position snuggled into Brittany's side when he turned around from his chair in front of her.

Santana kicked the back of his chair, "shut the hell up Noah!" She then turned back into Brittany when he laughed and turned back around. Santana kissed her cheek, leaning into Brittany's ear and whispering, "love you," before cuddling back into her side and seemingly turning her attention back to Mr Shue.

Mr Shue briefly looked at the rest of his students, who were watching the exchange with amusement and bewilderment: It always took them by surprise at how easily Brittany could influence Santana. He shook his head to get himself back into the groove, cleared his throat and smiled, "let's get started!"

Later that Evening

A few hours later, Santana and Brittany scuffled around the blondes bedroom, getting themselves dressed up and ready for what Brittany had nicknamed "the dinner of doom."

They were already running late, which was typical of them and should have been expected. Because Brittany was always super turned on after watching Santana perform in glee and basically jumped her in the shower, which was actually also typical of them. They admittedly never were that great at sticking to timings for anything when the other was around.

Plus they were both stressed about the dinner of doom, too, and it seemed like a good stress-reliever at the time. But then, they got carried away like always and now- they are late…like always.

"Do you think they've actually like really spoken about it this time Britt? And like we actually get into trouble? What if this dinner is some sort of gentle letdown leading into "we're not letting Florida happen?" Santana had been ready for the past few minutes and Brittany was just finishing up straightening her hair. To pass time, Santana resulted into pacing the bedroom and nervously ranting to Brittany, who just eyed her warily through the mirror.

She continued to straighten her hair and caught Santana's eye in the mirror, opening her mouth to say something, but quickly shut it when Santana started ranting again.

"What are we gonna do if they say we can't go?" She asked, "We still have to make it happen. I'll do anything for that life with you."

Brittany unplugged the straighteners and stepped closer to Santana, pulling her closer. "San, you're panicking for nothing. Just like you said, even if that is what this dinner is about, we will always make it happen. It's always me and you."

Santana inhaled deeply, focusing on Brittany's words and her hands rubbing her arms soothingly. Brittany dipped her head to catch her eyes, the familiar warm sparkle reassuringly and she raised an eyebrow at Santana, who took a deep breath and nodded.

"You're right. You're always right," Santana playfully rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around Brittany. Her gaze momentarily wondered from Brittany's to take in her appearance and she licked her lips, "you look so beautiful, baby."

"Are you flirting with me, Miss Lopez?" Brittany teased as she tilted her head to the side, but Santana could still see the hint of a blush appear on her cheeks.

"I'm always flirting with you, Miss Pierce!" Santana admitted with a smirk, and Brittany laughed.

She pulled Santana closer by her hips and nuzzled their noses together, before kissing her softly on the lips. "You look beautiful too, can't wait to eat you for dessert when we get home!"

Santana's eyes widened and she chuckled, slapping Brittany on her arm, "Britt!"

Brittany smiled and looked at her questioningly, "what? You know you're my favourite!"

Santana opened her mouth to respond but quickly stopped herself from saying anything inappropriate when Brittany's younger sister, Brianna, burst through the bedroom door. "Mommy sent me to get you. She said we need to go now or they will give our table away."

The two older girls pulled away from each other, and Brittany watched with adoration as Santana instantly moved to scoop the giggling five year old into her arms. "Hi princesa," she kissed her chubby cheeks and settled her onto her hip.

"Hi Sanny, you're super late again. Britty always makes you late!" Brianna told them, and although she was supposedly scolding them, she had a beaming smile on her face which was almost identical to Brittany's.

That smile always melted her, because as she looked at Brianna smiling like that, she imagined a child of their own looking so similar. With those blue eyes, that blonde hair and those chubby rosy cheeks.

"You're so cute!" Santana gushed at Brianna and playfully pinched her bunched up cheeks. "And Britty makes us late because she takes forever!"

Santana typically got quite irritated around children. They were demanding, loud and cried over nothing and they also seemed to always innocently call her out on her shit. But, she always had a soft spot for Brianna. Ever since she was brought home from hospital and threw up all over Santana the first time she held her, Santana knew that the littlest Pierce would find a special place in her heart with ease, just like the rest of her family had managed to.

Now, at five years old, Brianna looked exactly like Brittany did when they first met, and Santana was even more attached to her than ever.

"San, sometimes I think you would trade me in an auction for Brianna," Brittany commented as she eyed her girlfriend and younger sister, an amused smile on her face as she watched them.

"As if," Santana replied, "but I would trade breadsticks for her."

"Wow, must be love," Brittany's sarcasm made Santana laugh and she quickly pecked her lips, then kissed Brianna's cheek. "We better go before mommy and daddy ban Sanny from coming over tonight."

Brianna's eyes widened, "let's go!" Santana put Brianna back on the ground and the smaller blonde grabbed Brittany and Santana's hands, pulling them out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

Susan and George, Brittany's parents, were already waiting at the door impatiently. "Finally! What took you so long?" Susan asked, but then paused and held up her hand to silence Brittany when she opened her mouth to reply. "Actually, I don't want to know that. Just get in the car."

Santana blushed at the implication, because as much as Brittany's family was her family, it always embarrassed her knowing that they knew what she and Brittany got up to when they were alone. She hurriedly pushed Brittany out of the door and towards the car before she could say anything, and motioned for her to get in first while she walked around to the other side of the car to put Brianna into her car seat as Susan locked up and George started the car.

Once they were all settled into the car, George turned the radio on and they were on their way to the dinner of doom feeling a little bit lighter.

Santana and Brittany giggled while singing along to the radio with Brianna, and Susan smiled at them from her seat in the front. "Bree, you'll have to join in with Sanny and Britty's glee club with that amazing singing."

Brianna beamed at her mom, "really mommy? You think I'm good at singing like Sanny?"

"Um… what about me?" Brittany asked her sister with a raised eyebrow, tickling her stomach.

"You sing good Britty but Sanny sings the best!" Brianna giggled as she tried to push away Brittany's tickling hands. "Can I really sing with you at glee?" She asked, looking between her sister and Santana with wide eyes full of hope.

Santana smiled at her softly, "how about on the weekend you can come to Tia Maribel's house and I'll invite glee club over and we can do Karaoke together?"

"You're gonna let the glee club come to your house?" Brittany questioned with shock, raising her eyebrows at her girlfriend.

"Mami and papi are working, and if Mi princesa wants to sing with the losers then imma make it happen! We can't exactly take her to McKinley with us." Santana shrugged nonchalantly, as though it wasn't a big deal.

However, the four eldest in the car knew just how much of a big deal it actually was. Santana's house was her safe haven, a place where she cherished her peace and could be herself without hiding or building up any walls around herself. A place where her and Brittany first built their relationship, in fact the only person that had actually been to her house other than Brittany, was Quinn.

Brittany knew that, and her parents knew it. But it also didn't come as a shock that she would waver and open up her safe place for Brianna.

Brianna bounced excitedly in her car seat and looked at her parents hopefully. "Please can I go with Sanny and Britty? Please mommy?"

Susan chuckled at her youngest, and nodded. "Of course baby, you'll have to be super good for Sanny or Britty though or Tia Maribel and Tio Emilio won't let you back in their house without us again."

Brianna nodded her head, "yes! Thank you mommy!" She gushed and then focused her attention on George, "daddy, I'm going to Sanny's house to sing!"

Despite being present for the entire conversation, George gasped dramatically much to Brianna's delight as she clapped her hands together. "That's awesome, baby B!" He cheered as he finally pulled the car into the carpark of the restaurant.

Santana and Brittany shared a nervous look, and Brittany shrugged. "Fuck it," she whispered to Santana as they shuffled out of the car.

"Come on girls! Tana, your parents are already here…" Susan instructed them, guiding them closer to the entrance by gently pushing their backs.

They both nodded with a sigh and dropped their hands that naturally came together to swing between them as they followed Brittany's parents inside.

Memories of their super secret heist from the night before fresh in their minds, sharing looks of amusement and trying to hide it as they approached the booth where Santana's parents were already sitting with a drink.

Shit was about to go down.

The Night Before

Santana and Brittany were laid on Santana's bed, cuddling, when Brittany first suggested it.

They both stared up at the ceiling, "San?" Brittany broke the silence that had filled the room. Santana hummed and opened her eyes, tilting her head up to look at Brittany. "Remember our breadstiX date last week?"

Santana furrowed her eyebrows, "yeah?"

"I've been thinking about it all week," Brittany admitted. Santana began to smile, the familiar fluttering appearing in her stomach like everytime Brittany said something sweet.

"Me too," Santana told her, "I always enjoy our dates, babe."

"I love our dates," Brittany began in agreement and then frowned with an afterthought, "but I was especially thinking about the ending of our date. I can't believe that manager ruined it."

Last week was their anniversary, and Santana was so excited when Brittany told her about the romantic dinner she had planned for them at breadstiX. She was even more excited when Brittany presented her with her gift- a wheelbarrow "perfect for transporting breadsticks," as Brittany had told her.

Brittany was pouting and Santana sighed, "she didn't ruin it, babe. I still had the best time with you, even if she didn't let us take all the breadsticks."

"We should do a heist," she thought aloud, and Santana's eyes widened at the idea.

"And why is that a good idea?" Santana asked her with confusion, wondering how Brittany had come to the conclusion of wanting to do a heist together.

Santana knew Brittany better than anybody, and she knew that Brittany always had reasoning behind wanting to do things, especially things with Santana, and even more especially things that could potentially get them both in a lot of trouble.

Brittany sat up, suddenly turning serious and sat cross legged beside Santana. She looked down at her girlfriend and pouted, "because I saw how sad you was when Amanda, who hates us for no reason, didn't let us have all of those breadsticks last week."

Santana studied Brittany's face silently for a second and then also moved to sit up. "So…" she paused and then frowned, "you want to do a heist because I was sad about breadsticks?"

Brittany nodded, "totally."

"Brittany that's insane babe!" Santana laughed, and Brittany shook her head.

"No listen," Brittany told her. "After our date, I went home and I watched this movie about a heist and it inspired me! It was so cool and badass, and all I could think of was how hot it would be to go back there and steal all of the breadsticks!"

Santana looked confused, but could help the little chuckle that fell from her lips because of this whole thing was ridiculous. "Britt, as much as I love your super secret sexy evil side, and I love that you want to steal me some breadsticks, but how even?"

"I'm sure we'll figure it out when we get there," Brittany shrugged and Santana just shook her head with a smirk.

"Well if we're gonna do this, we're gonna need a plan," Santana told her.

Brittany grinned, "so you're in?"

Santana rolled her eyes at her girlfriend, "I'm not in yet. Just curious how we'd do it."

Taking Santana's response as a clear agreement to her idea, Brittany beamed, bouncing slightly on the bed with bubbling excitement. Santana couldn't help but return her smile and Brittany moved to straddle her in one swift motion.

"I can't wait to see you all sexy and all ninja-like," Brittany giggled, and Santana steadied her by holding her hips in place. "Wait! Do you still have those walkie-talkies here that we got all those years ago?"

"Of course, they should be in our box under the bed… why?" Santana asked with confusion, then pouted when Brittany rolled off of her lap and onto the floor beside her bed.

Brittany shuffled a little as she reached under Santana's bed, pulling out a storage box and opening it. "Oh San! Remember these?" She asked dreamily, pulling out two scuffed and frayed homemade friendship bracelets.

"Yeah, we made them at our first sleepover and then your mom got so mad because we dropped all of the beads all over the kitchen," Santana giggled at the memory, "are they in there?"

Brittany put the bracelets safely back into the box and rummaged through it, "got them!" She pulled out two walkie-talkies. "Now we just have to find some black clothes in your closet, which definitely won't be hard, and we're all set."

Santana groaned internally when realising just how serious Brittany was about this heist. She looked at her girlfriend and inhaled deeply, "Britt baby, do you really think this is a good idea?"

"Yes," Brittany said in an instant. She noticed Santana's hesitance and walked back to her girlfriend on the bed. She sat beside her and pulled Santana's hands into her lap, her pout naturally coming out, "please, San? I really just want to get them all for you. It'll be fun. I promise that we won't get caught."

Santana glanced between Brittany's pout and then to the walkie-talkies that had been put on her dresser, "fine. But we get caught and this was all your idea!"

"Deal, now kiss me and let's get ready! The Snix and Brittz great breadstiX heist is officially a go!"

Santana and Brittany were practically inhaling their food in silence, as their parents engaged in light conversation and Brianna was content using the colouring sheets the waitress had given her when they had first arrived.

"Sorry we're late, you know what them two are like," George had apologised to the Lopez's as they approached the table, nodding his head in Santana and Brittany's direction with a chuckle.

"Never stick to timings!" Emilio laughed in agreement, and stood up to hug Santana. "Nice to see you finally made it, mija! I was wondering when you would grace us with your presence!"

Santana huffed, rolling her eyes when Brittany laughed knowingly beside her. "It wasn't even me! I was ready before Brittany," she defended herself, but it was pointless because her dad was already waving her off and turning his attention to Brianna.

"They seem to be in good moods," Brittany leaned over and whispered into her ear when they sat down. She'd been observing their parents for the past few moments as they arrived, and the atmosphere wasn't remotely tense, which confused her.

"Yeah… I'm not quite buying it though," Santana whispered back, eyeing everybody cautiously as they huddled together in hopes that it would make them invisible from the rest of the table.

The topic of why they were actually having the dinner of doom was avoided as they ordered their food. But Santana and Brittany could hear the invisible timer ticking down until their parents exploded at them.

Brittany glanced warily at Santana beside her when Emilio cleared his throat to get their attention, and Santana gulped down her forkful of spaghetti.

She gave her dad a curious look when he just looked expectantly between her and Brittany, but he didn't make an effort to initiate the conversation that was hanging above them all. "Soo…" Santana trailed off awkwardly.

She understood her Papi well enough to know that he was waiting for them to initiate an apology. He wanted this to come from them, to know that they knew that what they did was wrong.

Brittany's hand came to rest on her thigh under the table comfortingly, squeezing Santana with a silent reminder that they have this under control. Santana felt a bit calmer, because somehow Brittany always knew what to do to make her feel better.

"Look, if you're gonna tell us that we can't go to Florida just get it over with!" Santana said.

"Mija, what in the hell?" Maribel's eyebrows rose on her forehead, "why would we say that you and Bee can't go to Florida?"

The two teens shared a look of confusion, "is that not what this dinner is about?" Brittany asked, both of them looking at their parents for confirmation.

"Um, no, honey… that's not it," Maribel chuckled, shaking her head.

"Then why are we here? We could have done the whole apology thing at home, you didn't have to buy us dinner to soften us up," Santana jumped right to it defensively, cutting off her Mami, because she had been on edge since getting that stupid message before glee club and just wanted their parents to quit the act and come on right out with it.

That probably wasn't how she should have approached it, and once the words came tumbling out, she knew that she hadn't chosen them wisely.

She frowned a little guiltily and softened up when glancing up at their parents, "I'm sorry. I'm just, I really don't want to give you a reason for us not to l go to Florida."

"Tana, look, we just want to make sure that you're both ready for this," George told her, looking softly between her and Brittany.

"Yeah, especially after this little stunt you've both pulled- I thought we were past this shit?" Emilio interrupts him.

"Tio Emilio! That's a bad word!" Brianna looked up from her world of food and colouring sheets with wide eyes, looking at Santana's dad with shock.

Santana and Brittany sniggered when Emilio stuttered out an apology to the youngest Pierce, and became unnaturally flustered. "S-sorry, little one! You're right, thanks for reminding me!"

"You're welcome!" Brianna grinned at him, before turning her attention back to her food.

"What your father means, Santana," Emilio turned even more flustered when Maribel sent him a slight glare, before turning back to Brittany and Santana, "is that we just want to make sure you are aware of how much we are trusting you both."

"We know, Mami," Santana told her truthfully, because this was something they had all been over before on multiple occasions.

"No, girls, we're serious this time," Susan told them, and both girls paused, sending each other a knowing look. Because if Susan was being serious with them, they knew this was something they couldn't joke their way out of.

Brittany nodded, "we get it. We're sorry. Honestly, it was a silly idea and even though it was fun and I finally got to give Santana her anniversary gift, I know that we shouldn't have done it."

Santana fought the urge to smile at Brittany, "we won't ever do a heist ever again! I swear!"

Maribel and Susan chuckled, "it's not all about the silly heist! We just don't want you two getting into any kind of trouble in Florida that you can't get out of, we won't be there to bail you out every time like we are now." Maribel reached over the table and rested a hand each on one of the girls' hands. "We know how badly you girls have worked for this, and we know that you deserve it. Don't waste the opportunity before you can live the life that you want together."

"I'm sorry. You're right, Mami," Santana agreed, realising that she and Brittany couldn't miss out anything they had planned. She grinned at her Mami widely, "I promise that we won't fuck this up-"

"Sanny!"

"Sorry, Mi princesa," Santana pouted at Brianna when she scolded her with a glare, and gave her an apologetic kiss on her head. "I promise that we won't do anything to mess this up. I want to live with Brittany in Florida and go to school there just like we planned to. We'll be good for real, I know that we're so lucky you guys have supported us and saved for us to go there."

Santana and Brittany looked more apologetic than ever, as their parents shared knowing looks between them at their daughters. They were good girls, they just got so lost in their love at times that they needed reminding of the real world around them.

"Okay! Now that's out the way!" Susan gasped with a smile, clapping her hands together. She bent down to pick up her purse and reached inside for a small brown envelope.

"What's that?" Brittany asked instantly when she wiggled the envelope in the air.

"An envelope silly," Brianna commented with a giggle, looking up briefly.

Brittany rolled her eyes while the rest of the table let out a small laugh at Brianna's words. "Something for you both," Susan told them.

"For us?" Santana asked and looked at Brittany, who just shrugged, because she had no clue either.

"Who else would need this?" She shrugged, holding out the envelope to Brittany.

Her daughter took it cautiously, chewing on her bottom lip. "Should we open it?" She asked, looking at Santana briefly beside her and then back to the envelope in her hand.

Somehow, it felt like the envelope held some significance and she felt a bit nervous.

"I think that's what you do with an envelope, Britty!" Brianna told her.

"Britty is so silly, isn't she?" Santana giggled and then nudged Brittany with a smile, "open it, babe"

Brittany opened the envelope to reveal a handwritten letter and two key-rings, each with a singular key attached to them.

She unfolded then letter with shaky hands, holding it in front of her so that Santana could read it too.

Bee and Tana, our girls.

Words can't express how proud we are of you both.

The day you first met, we could tell that you were special and that you would be friends for life. You had always been soulmates in every form of your connections, as friends, lovers and everything between.

It didn't come as a surprise to us when we noticed your friendship develop into something more. There had always been signs. We picked up on them, but we knew that you two were smart enough to work things out on your own.

We are so proud of how you two constantly stick together and believe in the love that you have for each other. That is going to be so important for you both out there in Florida.

When you were 14 and we all went on vacation to Florida for the first time, you found the life that you wanted for yourselves, and we will always support your dreams. We knew how much you loved that trip, and knowing now that the reason for that being that you fell in love there, everything makes even more sense.

Please make us all proud, we will miss you.

PS- The Florida townhouse is all yours for as long as you need it. Santana, please supervise Brittany at all times in the kitchen, we don't want it burning down when it holds so many memories.

PSS- We totally all knew you kissed that night.

Lots of love Mom and dad, and Mami and Papi.

Also, Brianna told us to tell you that she can't wait for Florida sleepovers with her sisters.

Santana and Brittany breathed out shakily through their tears, "guys…" Santana sighed, her voice cracking with emotion.

"We love you so much," Brittany told them, smiling softly at their parents and putting an arm around Santana to pull her closer into her side. "Thank you for this. We always knew how much you would support us, and thanks to that, things were a lot easier than they could have been."

"I'm so happy to have you as my parents," Santana told her Mami and Papi with a wide grin, wiping her tears away. "Mama S and Papa G, you've always accepted me into your family. Thank you for all of this, we won't disappoint you."

"We know that you girls will look out for each other in Florida, that has never been a question," Susan told them. "We also know that despite this little slip-up, you girls are ready to just experience more of the world together."

"Just, maybe no more illegal extra-curricular activities in Florida…" George suggested with a smile from beside his wife, holding up his glass. "To Florida!" He cheered.

Santana and Brittany shared an adoring look between each other, taking in the tight family unit they had created with all of their favourite people, and raised their glasses, "to Florida!"

Rachel Berry's graduation train-wreck extravaganza, Graduation night

Santana and Brittany walked down the familiar stairs of Rachel's basement, memories of many glee parties here where they had spent the night making out on the couch in the corner, or doing body shots which lead to more making out.

Because surprisingly, Rachel always managed to throw the best parties in that damn Oscar room.

They shared a knowing glance and smirked. "One last time?" Brittany whispered, her eyes dropping to Santana's pouty lips.

The heat from Brittany's stare instantly traveled to Santana's cheeks and she blushed, "couldn't think of a better way to end my high-school experience than making out with you on Berry's couch."

Brittany chuckled, and dragged Santana over to grab them some drinks from the counter.

"Oh! You're here!" Quinn shouted when she noticed them, "took you both long enough!"

Santana rolled her eyes and Brittany laughed, moving to pour them both a drink. "Blame Britt, she can never keep her hands to herself!" Santana told her, wiggling her eyebrows with a smirk.

Quinn fake gagged at her, "you're not any better!"

"True," Santana shrugged and then added as an afterthought as she watched her girlfriend mix drinks together like she was a professional bartender, "can you blame me, though?"

"Not in the slightest," Puck chimed in, leaning on the counter next to the girls and following Santana's gaze to Brittany.

Santana wasted no time in punching him in the arm, "eyes to yourself, unless you want to lose one of them, Noah!" She warned him, looking at Puck with disgust that instantly melted when Brittany approached her and shoved a drink into her hand. "Thank you, baby," she smiled sweetly.

Quinn cackled, "I'm gonna miss seeing how whipped you are everyday."

Brittany pouted, "you can all come visit us!"

Santana looked horrified at the invitation and quickly began shaking her head in refusal. "No no no, Britt, they are not coming to visit us-"

"San!" Brittany shook her head, "of course they are!"

"Maybe just Q," Santana offered, making Brittany crack a small smile of amusement. Santana and Quinn always had a friendship that kept her on her toes. She rose an eyebrow and Santana sighed, "fine, but maybe once a year."

"That's probably the best you're getting, B," Quinn told her friend with a laugh. "Now, wanna help get Berry drunk with me?"

"Hell to the yes!" Santana cheered, "shots!"

Everybody cheered and moved to gather around the counter where Santana and Brittany poured endless shots- two for everyone, it was only right. Brittany lifted both of her glasses up in the air and everybody followed suit, mimicking her actions.

As Brittany glanced around at her high-school friends and her girlfriend, she felt happiness and a sense of finality. This was the moment they had worked so hard for these past years, the moment that signified a new beginning for them.

"To the best high school experience any of us could ask for. Despite the hard times and the drama, and the stealing each other's boyfriends and girlfriends," everybody laughed, sharing knowing looks between them. "We built a family of trust and loyalty. I'll always remember glee and I'll always remember you guys. The love we have for each other is going to last a lifetime. To new beginnings and chasing our dreams!"

"Dreams that nobody can tell us won't come true! Don't stop believing!" Rachel added in with a beaming smile as she looked around at everybody.

Everybody connected their glasses as murmurs of agreement and cheers filled the air, before everybody knocked down their two shots and began hugging each other.

"Now let's get some music up in this bitch!" Mercedes shouted, moving to the speaker and playing the music.

Everybody parted ways, scattering around the basement and resuming their conversations, and Santana and Brittany picked up their drinks and found themselves in a familiar position on that white couch in the corner.

A few drinks later, Brittany was still giggling underneath Santana as Santana sat straddling her lap, dancing away to the music and switching between singing, drinking and kissing Brittany's face. "You're so silly, baby," she giggled, grabbing Santana's hips to settle her into a still position.

"I love you like a love song baby," Santana sang playfully, and leaned in to kiss Brittany softly and quickly. "And you keep hitting repeat," she moved to whisper into Brittany's ear, before leaving an open-mouthed kiss just below it.

"Oh god," Brittany whimpered, and trailed her hands up from their position on Santana's hips to rest on her cheeks. She pulled Santana's face into hers and crashed their lips together.

Santana moaned into Brittany's lips, the taste of alcohol swirling around their tongues as they danced together in perfect rhythm. Santana felt dizzy from the impact of the kiss mixed with the alcohol, and the buzzing from the vibrations of the music that had her body feeling alive and feeling so intoxicated from her love for Brittany.

Santana's hips began rolling into Brittany's as they kissed deeply and slowly. She pulled away breathlessly when air became an issue and rolled her head back with another moan when Brittany's soft lips began making their way to her neck.

"Do you two ever stop making out?" Quinn slapped the back of Santana's head slightly, and watched with amusement when the two girls drunkenly pulled away from each other.

"Nope," Brittany replied with lopsided smile, her eyes dreamily taking in Santana's disheveled appearance from all of their kissng.

"We're playing truth or dare, wanna join?" She asked them, and Santana rolled her eyes.

"Lame," she laughed and Brittany glared at her.

"Come on, San," Brittany slapped her thighs for her to stand up off of her and Santana groaned loudly but complied anyway. "We're in," she told Quinn for the both of them.

Santana ignored Quinn's look of "you're so whipped," and followed Brittany and Quinn over to the circle that had been formed on the floor. She sat down as close to Brittany as possible, her stomach fluttering when Brittany wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled Santana into her side.

"Surprised you came up for air," Puck told Santana with a smirk when she sat beside him.

"Wish I didn't," she told him, frowning. He laughed at her grumpy expression when she folded her arms over her chest, but didn't say anything else in fear of pissing off an already pissed off Santana.

Drunk Snix was emotional, and nobody wanted a drunk Snix to be unleashed tonight.

"So, how are we gonna do this?" Tina asked, as everybody glanced around at each other.

Santana could tell that everybody was drunk already from how Rachel was laid all over Quinn and how Mercedes and Tina were giggling after everybody spoke. She had to admit, a drunken game with the glee club was her kryptonite. It was

fun to watch them embarrass themselves and always give her great blackmail material.

She knew that she was in for a treat tonight. One final chance to get some real gossip before they all parted in different directions, and she sent Brittany a knowing smirk when her girlfriend grinned.

"How about this? We spin the bottle, whoever it lands on has to do a truth or dare. Failure to complete has to do two shots?" Santana suggested, seeing how that was probably the most fair way to play and the way to get them all drunker quicker.

Kurt frowned, "wait, why two shots?"

Brittany smirked, "the first one will be lonely!"

"Totally!" Santana agreed with her girlfriend, lifting her hand for a high-fived, which Brittany eagerly returned to her. "Are you all in or not?"

"What about rules?" Kurt spoke up again, looking around the room with caution, because their games had a reputation of ending up quite ruthless.

"Nothing illegal," Brittany and Santana replied immediately.

"What? That's the most fun part!" Puck objected, shaking his head at them in disbelief.

"No!" Rachel chimed in, "I agree with them. Nothing illegal. We can't risk getting arrested."

"Yeah, almost been there done that, we can't risk that again!" Brittany laughed, and everybody looked at the two with confusion. She flashed a nervous smile, "so, truth or dare!"

Everybody shared confused looks as Brittany reached for the bottle and spun it quickly to avoid any further questions. It seemed to work, because everybody's attention was shifted and cheers filled the room as the bottle landed on Puck.

He gulped nervously as Brittany's eyed him mischievously, "hmm…" she giggled. "Truth or dare, Puckerman?"

"Dare?" He stated, but it came out more as a question and Santana cracked up between them.

"Are you scared, Noah?" She teased him and then took a big gulp of her drink when he shook his head adamantly.

"No, dare, Britt!" He repeated a bit more firmer this time and shook his arms and head to loosen himself up a little, "I got this!"

Brittany laughed as she silently looked around the room looking for ideas, and then began grinning widely. "I dare you to take a body shot off of one of the guys!" She dared, raising one eyebrow at Puck. Puck spluttered momentarily in disbelief, because Brittany never held back with her dares, and he should have know better.

"Britt, really?" He whined.

"If you were a daredevil, you'd do it, Noah!" Brittany shrugged, and Puck huffed in annoyance. "Choose your boy wisely," she chuckled.

"I don't know why anybody thinks you're the innocent one," Puck grumbled and looked at Sam beside him. "A shots a shot, man?" Sam pumped his fist with mock excitement and laid back on the ground, lifting his shirt.

The room was silent for all of five seconds as Puck completed the fastest body shot they had ever seen, before everybody burst into drunken giggles. "You- you are never living that down!" Mercedes wheezed out a laugh, clutching her stomach.

"Whatever, my turn to spin," Puck muttered with annoyance, but everybody could see the hint of a smile on his lips, too. He leaned into the middle and spun the bottle, groaning when it landed on Mike instead of Brittany or Santana.

"Truth or dare, dude?" He asked Mike.

"Dare!" He shrugged without a second thought.

"I dare you to give Tina a lap dance on the stage," Puck made a thrusting motion with his hands and hips and the guys all sniggered while the girls rolled their eyes.

"You're never gonna change, Puckerman," Quinn told him sips of her drink, and then looked at him over her cup.

"Well, that's offensive," Puck replied and held his hand to his heart in mock offence.

Quinn snorted out a laugh, "sorry, I forgot to say no offence!"

Santana chuckled at Quinn and sent another knowing look to Brittany. Puck looked at Mike, "you doing it or not?" He asked.

Mike glanced at Tina who giggled and shrugged. He grabbed her hand and pulled her to the stage while everybody clapped for them. Everybody cheered when Mike began beatboxing and slowly dancing on Tina, his moves a little bit messy compared to usual due to the alcohol in their system.

"Get it, Chang twins!" Santana hollered loudly, cupping her mouth with her hands.

Brittany laughed loudly but covered it by scolding her girlfriend, "Santana!"

Santana stopped and looked at her with a pout and tilted her head to the side, "don't call me that."

"That's your name?" Sam asked, looking at Santana with confusion.

"Britt-Britt never calls me Santana," Santana explained with an eye roll, before looking back at Brittany accusingly, "you didn't call me San."

"I'm sorry, baby," Brittany giggled, and nuzzled her nose against Santana's before giving her a soft kiss.

Santana ended up smiling into the kiss and forgetting all about Brittany full-naming her. They pulled away from the kiss with flustered cheeks in time to see Mike and Tina joining back in the circle.

They exchanged shy smiles and cuddled into each other as Mike took his turn spinning the bottle.

It landed on Rachel, who clapped her hands with excitement and sat up straight from laying her weight all against Quinn beside her. "Yay! My turn," she slurred, "truth!"

"You're excited to tell the truth?" Brittany exclaimed.

Rachel frowned and Santana fought the urge to laugh and instead squeezed Brittany's hand a little, "don't be mean to Berry, babe!"

Brittany glanced at Santana and then laughed before nodding and turning to apologise to Rachel, "I'm sorry, Rachel. You should be excited to tell the truth. Telling the truth feels awesome!" Brittany finished by giving an encouraging thumbs up that had a few people trying to hide their amusement.

Rachel was too drunk to process the majority of the conversation properly and retuned Brittany's thumbs up with a bashful smile, before turning to Mike. "What's my truth, Mikey?"

Mike took note of Rachel's drunken state, and winked at the rest of the group, "Barbra Streisand or glee club?"

"WHAT?" Rachel shouted, her eyes widening. "Mike- that's, no, you can't-"

"You can always shot," Kurt suggested from the other side of Rachel, also looking just as mortified by Mike's question which had sent Rachel into an obvious meltdown.

The group watched Rachel with amusement as she teared up taking the shots and then dramatically glared at Mike, "how dare you. That was sabotage!" Mike just cackled into his drink at Rachel in a frenzy, before she shouted, "almost forgot, my turn!"

Santana watched with horror as the bottle came to a stop in front of her.

She almost pouted when hearing Brittany suck in a breath to hide her laughter and grumbled under her breath. Santana flicked her eyes to Rachel and gave her a tight-lipped smile, "dare."

Rachel smirked, "Santana Lopez!" She giggled and Santana groaned out loud, hiding her face in her hands. "I dare you, to say five things you like about me!"

"I don't have five things I like about you!" Santana denied, shaking her head at the ridiculousness of Rachel's dare.

"Liar," Rachel told her, folding her arms challengingly at Santana.

"I chose dare for that reason," Santana responded.

"Are you gonna shot, Santana?" Rachel asked her in a teasing voice and Santana groaned again, a bit louder this time.

"No way," Santana told her and rolled her eyes. She took a deep breath and looked at the floor, "you're insanely talented, you believe in yourself, you're a pretty good friend, you being shorter than me helps me feel good about my height, and I guess since you ditched the reindeer sweaters you look a lot better than you did last year."

"Wow," Rachel sighed, her hand on her chest. She looked as though she was holding back tears and had a beaming smile on her face. "That was the nicest thing you've ever said to me!" Much to Santana's horror, Rachel was stumbling across the room and throwing her arms around Santana.

"Rachel, if you don't get off me in the next three seconds imma go all Snix on your drunk ass," Santana breathed out her nose and held her hands up in the air, not returning Rachel's overly affectionate hug in the slightest. Rachel jumped away from her and Santana shivered as she quickly took her turn spinning the bottle before seemingly turning her body further into Brittany to hide from any more surprise Rachel attacks.

Brittany protectively wrapped her arms around Santana and pressed a comforting kiss to her shoulder with a smile.

The bottle slowed down on Quinn beside her who rolled her eyes, "dare, me Lopez!"

Santana grinned wickedly, "I dare you to kiss Berry!"

Quinn's eyes widened, "no-no, just no!"

"Hey! I'm a good kisser," Rachel shouted, looking a bit sad that Quinn didn't want to kiss her. Santana laughed when Quinn sent her a silent glare.

"Fine," Quinn smirked and quickly moved in one motion to straddle Rachel beside her. She cupped her cheeks, kissing her soft and slow for a few more moments than she probably needed to, before they both pulled away in a daze. "Well, shit, you weren't lying. Berry can kiss!" Quinn shared a look of shock with Santana as she climbed off of Rachel to lean over to spin the bottle.

She grinned widely when it landed on Brittany, who instantly shouted, "truth!"

Puck glared at Brittany, because now he didn't have the joy of watching her embarrass herself in a dare like she made him. "You made fun of Rachel for not picking a dare!" He argued.

Brittany shrugged and motioned to Santana, "Santana did our dare."

He frowned, "what does that even mean?"

"It means that whenever we play truth or dare, one of us has to chose a dare and one of us chose a truth so they don't feel left out. San chose dare, so I have to pick truth," Brittany explained like that it was the simplest reasoning in the world.

Santana nodded in agreement to everything Brittany was saying.

"I want to know what went down that day when you were both early to glee!" Quinn exclaimed, looking between Brittany and Santana. She knew that something went down that day, because Brittany and Santana being early to glee, or early to anything at all, just never happened.

Her curiosity about that day, and everyone else's, were perked up but since then, Brittany and Santana never mentioned anything else and somehow managed to change the conversation onto something else whenever it was brought up.

Brittany let out a nervous laugh and shared a glance with Santana as they naturally pulled away from each other. Their cheeks were noticeably flushed and everybody looked at their sudden change with confusion.

"You guys didn't get caught having sex did you?" Kurt asked, because that didn't sound like a bad guess as to what happened. It sounded exactly like something that would happen to Brittany and Santana.

Santana snorted, "not even close, Lady Hummel!"

Brittany giggled and shrugged, "I told you, we did a heist!"

Quinn laughed, "wait- Brittany, you were serious about that?"

Santana and Brittany nodded to reaffirm, "so serious!" Brittany began to smile, "Santana needed a little convincing at first but I really wanted to give her an anniversary present that she deserved!"

"So you guys robbed a bank? That's insane!" Tina looked at them in disbelief.

Santana scoffed, "please. We didn't rob a bank."

Quinn frowned in confusion, "what did you rob then?"

Santana and Brittany smirked at all of their friends, "hundreds and hundreds of fucking breadsticks!"
