Set during 'Sleeper'

Within Sunnydale high school from her cubicle stood guidance counsellor by day and full-time vampire slayer at night Buffy Summer who stared at the back of Dawn's new crush and listened in as he was chewed out by the principal about not getting his homework done. R. J. Brooks, the rebuilt Sunnydale High's current quarterback didn't look like he was enjoying it or that he was taking the lecture seriously. Maybe it was her inner overprotective sister talking, but he just didn't seem good enough for her Dawnie. How could she make certain that he left her little sister alone though?

The principal was finishing reading the man the riot act giving him a stern lecture. "How about if you try doing your own homework for a change? No more getting these young, impressionable women to do it for you. Avoid detention, R.J. Sound good?"

"Whatever," R.J replied sounding every bit the bored teen. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and holding his letterman jacket by the collar in his hands.

"Oh, sweet infectious enthusiasm," Principal Wood stated with a little sarcasm before he walked back into his office, while R.J. started to go back to class but Buffy interrupted him wanting to give the teen a piece of his own mind.

"Whoa. Hang on there, slappy!" Buffy snapped. "I'm not done with you yet." Her plan was to guide or perhaps even threaten R.J away from Dawn. Well, she was Sunnydale High's Guidance Counsellor, wasn't she? She was just helping out the students by preventing any heartbreak and incidents.

"Oh, man. Like it's not bad enough I got that guy riding my back all the time. Now I gotta deal with you, too?" The teenager whined while rolling his eyes.

"Actually, I'm a bit more formidable than Mr. Wood," Buffy warned him. "You might come to look fondly on his back-riding."

"Yeah but come on—" R.J started.

"Sit," Buffy told him sounding every bit like a teacher. He did so sighing and slumping to the chair in the lobby area with all the hallmarks of a bored teen. The slayer rolled her eyes a little. While he was certainly cute, but Buffy really didn't get what Dawn saw in the guy beyond that.

R.J spoke up again all defensive. "Hey, I told him I was sorry about the homework."

Eyes narrowed; Buffy crossed her arms over her chest. "Mmm... not the homework, Mr. Wizard. The girls. What you're doing to them. In specific, my sister," She replied.

"Hey, I didn't do anything to your sister!" R.J protested. "And you saw how hot she looked last night. I think that proved that she—"

Buffy turned away, hands up, to avoid the conversation. "Aah! No more with the talky. Look, I know how guys like you work! You turn on the charm, you get whatever you want, no matter who gets in your way, right?" She certainly had experience in dealing with bad boys… 'oh no! no thinking about Spike!' Buffy mentally told herself. 'I am a Spike free zone! Yeah, think of Parker, that jerk from college!'

R.J. stood up. "OK, look, it's not like that," he began to put on jacket. "I just—" Buffy pushed him back into the seat," get along really well with girls."

"Oh, I see how you get along," Buffy stated turning to pace while she ranted. "Oh, look at me, I'm Mr. Quarterback," while Buffy's facing away, R.J. finished putting on his jacket. "I crush little girls and all their little feelings. All I have to do is—" turned, facing him now, and suddenly she trailed off as she turned and looked at R. J. Brooks. He had his quarterback jacket fully on now and was staring at her, clearly listening attentively. The problem was that the moment Buffy laid eyes on the young man, the enchantment on his jacket went to work on her unsuspecting mind. Even though Buffy was the Vampire Slayer something as simple as an old magical enchantment on a piece of clothing was still affecting her mind and now beginning to take control. While her slayer side attempted to combat the magical effects of the jacket, she still felt overwhelming lust and love as she stepped closer to the sitting young man, her mouth suddenly watering. Her entire tone changed from stern teacher to a far more pleasant tone, "lead a team of high school athletes trying their best to do a good job. Everyone depending on me. That is a lot of pressure. But it doesn't mean you get to disregard other people's feelings." She finished in a far more understanding and friendly.

"It's not like I meant to hurt anyone," the boy stated simply as if that was the best defence in the world.

Getting closer to the teenager and under the spell of the jacket Buffy couldn't help noticing a lot of things about R.J. 'He is so… yummy!' She blinked as she gave herself the mental equivalent of a bucket of cold water in the face. As she tried to control herself. "I know," she said as she sat down on table beside R.J. "I know that. It's just… you're a leader, a captain, OK? People look up to you. You need to keep that in mind when you…" she was momentarily distracted by looking at his body. "I bet you run a lot, huh? I mean, they work you pretty hard, don't they?" She asked in a playful tone. She couldn't believe that no one had snapped up this male Adonis before now and shown him the joys of a real woman's body. In the end though, it just meant Buffy got to stake her claim first.

R.J shrugged. "Yeah, I guess so." He stood up.

"I get that. I do. I'm there," Buffy said trying to sound eager and cool. "Or at least I was there when I was still in high school. Which I was, just a couple of years ago, really. You know, I just realized that I'm basically the same age as you." She blushed almost embarrassed but then spoke up trying to play her age off. "I'm not really older at all, actually. Just like you but with the sexual experience and stuff." She finished making eyes at him almost purring at him.

R.J smiled a little finally getting it. "I think I hear what you're saying." He took a little admiring glance at Buffy who is very aware of his eyes wandering over her figure.

A sultry look passed over her face. "Maybe I should make it clearer," Buffy told him. He gave her a lopsided grin that made her fluttered. Buffy practically leapt on him and crushed her lips against his. She pushed herself into him, wrapping her arms around him as she kissed him with a ferocity that she'd never displayed before. R.J barely had time to react but for the moment his brain had ceased to function, and he was acting on pure instinct. He kissed back, mirroring her efforts. Their mouths opened allowing their tongues to explore, darting in and out with passion, their hands groping and sliding all over each other's bodies. It was so passionate, so hot and everything that Buffy wanted and needed in that moment.

He slammed her against the wall and Buffy briefly thought it was a miracle that no faculty member or student had seen them but forgot all about it as she felt R.J slide his hands down to her skirt. Her heart leapt in her chest when his left hand slipped under her clothing, inside her panties, giving a gentle squeeze to the fullness of her sex, cupping her possessively. The sensations turned her liquid, her pulse racing instantly. He wasn't wasting any time which suited her fine. She's so ready and he's so hard and this is so wrong and they're gonna do it anyway. She bit his lip slightly before kissing him again deeply as she twisted her hips helping the man push the skirt up. His eager hands caressed her inner thighs as Buffy sucked on his tongue. He seemed to know exactly where she needed to be touched and caressed. It was like he had read a blueprint of making love to Buffy Summers 101. She couldn't believe this teenager was in fact a teenager as currently he was pushing all the right buttons and turning her on to near extreme levels.

She felt him unbuckle his belt and remove himself from his jeans. Buffy panted gripping her shoulders tightly as he eased her panties to one side. She wanted it, she wanted it more than anything in the world. Nothing else mattered in this moment. This was going to be perfect.

"Buffy," he moaned before pulling back to look at her face as he lined himself to her. "Do you know what time it is?"

She frowned puzzled at the question. "Huh?"

"Do you know what time it is?"

"Wha… R.J I thought…"

She blinked and suddenly found herself in her bed of her home in the morning. Willow was there at her doorway. "I think you might have fallen asleep," she informed Buffy stating the obvious. "Are you still planning on heading to school?" The slayer nodded trying to fight the effects of slumber and fully wake up. "I got some coffee going on in the kitchen. Dawn is pretty much good to go for school, you're going to have to hurry if you plan to make it!" her best friend informed her before heading down the corridor.

With a frustrated groan, Buffy forced herself out of bed remembering she came home in the early hours after a long patrol battling the newly risen vampire Holden "Webs" Webster, a classmate that she barely remembered until he casually began reminiscing about the high school. In between the punching he proceeded to psychoanalyze Buffy, and for whatever reason she opened up to him about her innermost conflicts and feelings of isolation. Just before dusting him and finally ending the surreal therapy session he identified Spike as being the one siring him. Spike back to his evil ways, siring people that was a curveball that she didn't want to even consider.

Nor did she want to consider the fact that she had this dream for now for like the seventh day in a row. Always about that damn student R.J and his damn jacket. She shook the cobwebs from her head desperate to regain her sanity. She was a guidance counsellor lusting after some student who had made her a lovesick puppy just her sister Dawn, Willow and Anya. Thankfully Xander and Spike had managed to remove the jacket from R.J stop the girls from doing anything stupid (in Buffy's case murder the school principal) and together after coming to their scenes they all burned the jacket. It was meant to be like she was back to regular Buffy after being mind controlled, everyone else had including Dawn but sadly Buffy just couldn't shake the dreams out of her head or the feeling out of her body.

She wondered if the other girls like Willow or Dawn were having lingering thoughts but decided that conversation would be too embarrassing to have out in the open. They didn't need to know she was dreaming lusting over some teenager… who was pretty good looking… in a boyish way. Certainly not her type as she typically went for guys who were older… in some cases a lot older. Groaning in her pillow she was now rating R.J's looks! God she was pathetic! She blamed a long night of slaying for that and her therapy session. It led to an angry slayer and an edgy one at that. She always felt this way after slaying and no kill. Always felt edgy like she had too much energy and would be restless. She wanted to be investigating the possibility of Spike murdering again but she had to put an appearance at school. It was her job after all, and Spike couldn't do any harm during the day… could he? The slayer in her wanted to slay but the regular girl inside her had responsibilities.

She hated feeling like this and suspected that a day working at school wouldn't help her.

Sure, enough working at Sunnydale High and dealing with the problems of one teenager after another was not helping her deal with her slayer urges and the Spike paranoia. At some points she had to fight the urge to bounce nervously in her seat. As a kid, she had been hyper and imaginative later wondering if all slayers suffered from the same issue. If her nervous energy was hard to contain as a child, it was even harder once she'd become a Slayer. Especially because nervous energy as a Slayer often meant violent energy, which was part of issue right now as she had no outlet. Even now, there was that craving to go out and hit something, to get physical with something. The craving to move, to fight and to feel… she needed another cold glass of water. She kept hovering around the phone as well in the hope that Anya who was watching Spike might call with some news but alas no such luck.

She looked up at a knock on her door. "Come in," she offered getting up before frowning as principal Wood and student R.J Brooks the subject more than a few dreams that Buffy had been having recently entered the office.

"Just take a seat R.J and we will be right with you," Woods instructed the boy before motioning to Buffy to follow him outside the room which she did coming out in the hall with Mr Wood and he closed the door leaving R.J in Buffy's office.

"What is this about?" Buffy asked the school principal.

"I would like you to give Mr Brooks some counselling sessions," principal Wood informed Buffy who frowned at the request.

"Is this still about his homework?" she asked.

"That and a bit more," Wood then moved a little forward speaking in hushed manner. "R.J's mother has recently informed me that she is divorcing his father and from what I can gather it doesn't appear to be friendly, amicable decision. This has caused a lot of tension at his home which is affecting his classwork. His teachers say he is just drifting and if he doesn't improve it's seriously going to affect his future."

Buffy looked sad at the teen through the small window in her door but still the awkwardness of the situation jumped up and down in her head. She didn't need the source of her dreams in her office let alone her and him in her office alone. "Principal Wood I'm not sure I am the best person for this," she began. "Surely there are better people for this like one of his teachers or even yourself!" She suggested keen to avoid this task.

"Oh no he sees me as the overbearing authoritarian remember?" The man replied with almost a hint of a knowing smirk before adding. "And he sees his teachers as just giving him a hard time. He sees everyone as the enemy right now."

"But what do you expect me to do?" Buffy asked.

"Talk to him," Woods told her. "I didn't give you this job for your decades of experience or unique therapy methods. I gave you this job because you emphasise and relate to these kids. Besides you are the school guidance counsellor after all." He pointed out before handing her the file he had been holding. "Here is his file," he stated before heading off down the hall. Buffy sighed and looked at it recognising the state of what Woods had been saying. R.J's grades had slipped and the comments from his teachers wasn't good. Sighing to herself well this day was going from bad to worse still she knew that she had no choice but do the job. At least it was better than working at the Doublemeat Palace.

She stepped back into the office. "So, Mr Brooks," she said in her best teacher tone. "Principal Woods tells me you having been having problems."

"Like he cares," muttered R.J sullenly and full of teen drama.

"He does care," Buffy said taking a seat. "He cares enough to put in that chair with me. We all care about R.J and no one wants to see you fall behind in your classes. That's going to affect your future. And believe me that is right around the corner coming at you faster than you think. You can't afford to screw up high school."

"Look I will promise work harder okay how is that?!" he snapped back at her.

"Not good enough because I don't think you mean a single word of that!" she fired back at him. "Don't you get it? You have one chance at high school then it is over, and you must start living in the real world where believe me there is no silver spoons or free hand outs!" she warned him forcefully before taking a breath and trying a different tactic. "I know… that parents divorcing can be difficult for a child."

"Oh, don't start that crap!" R.J spoke up annoyed at the mere mention of his parents and their divorce. "What would you know about that?!"

"My parents are divorced," she told him silencing him. He blinked he didn't know that about her or her sister Dawn. "It happened when I was a few years younger than you. Still remember the fights, the yelling, the arguments that they sometimes had… when they thought I wasn't listening of course. They of course tell you that it's not your fault, that they have just drifted apart as people and need a change. But you do… you wonder late at night if it is something you did. That your very presence in the lives is the reason for all of this."

R.J shifted uncomfortably as he listened to what Buffy had told him and how it was very true to his situation. For years he had watched his parents slowly drift apart having less and less in common and making far less of an effort to interact and spend time with each other. His mother's desire for a divorce was hardly surprising in the grand scheme of things nor was his father's hurt pride and anger at such a request. His father had made it clear he would fight her in the courts for every dime and procession they owned and now his mother was making similar statements… and here he thought he was meant to be the child. Still, he had a hard time admitting his feelings especially to Mrs Summers. "You're just probably saying all this because you are scared, I might tell someone about what happened in the school room when we were alone," he pointed out.

Buffy swallowed slightly despite having almost expected that to come up at some point. "I think we both know I was under the influence at that moment." She shifted a little recalling their encounter, the feelings she felt at the time. She felt an overwhelming love and devotion for him that had overpowered her reason and logic.

R.J grinned snarky. "Been drinking on the job Mrs Summers?" he mocked feeling confident.

"Because of your magical jacket you moron," she told him with narrow eyes.

R.J stuttered slightly. "What do you know about that?"

"Far more than you know," she glared at him.

He couldn't help but be puzzled that she seemed to know about magic and more shockingly seemed to believe in it. He shifted in his chair and his scowl remained while Buffy flatly stared at him before his glare melted away. "It was just fun at first," he confessed finally speaking up after a few moments of silence. "It was nice to be the centre of attention for a change. To have people… girls would look at me, talk to me, want to hang out with me. Who doesn't want that?" He almost grinned before realising what he was saying and who he was talking to. "I didn't plan on it getting to any stage like it did I swear I just wanted to be popular. I didn't expect it to get out of hand so quickly."

"Well, it did get out of hand! People acted out of character! People got hurt! My sister was this close from killing herself all because you and some silly little jacket that just fed some small male egos," Buffy told him.

R.J looked down at the ground ashamed. "It wasn't even my jacket to begin with!" he protested weakly.

"That's no excuse! You could have burnt that thing as soon as you realised what it did, but I guess you decided you wanted to have a little fun with it didn't you?" Buffy glared at him. He was no better than half the men she had met in her life. Always just wanting to have some fun and forget the consequences.

"I feel terrible about what happened," he told her.

"You should feel terrible," Buffy told him. "You made girls feel like toys and playthings for your amusement." She was angry and edgy and he was proving a good punching bag for that anger.

"Fine I get it," R.J said generally ashamed of his actions. He had seen his brother to become popular and his father had told him stories about charming various women including his mother with his jacket then he couldn't help but be wanting to experience something like that. To get the attention and the focus. No one ever care about him when he was writing poetry or reading comic books but wearing the jacket they certainly were interested in him. But just Buffy had told him he had simply used people to get ahead. "I get it okay! I know I wasn't really connecting with people, or they were even interested in me really… I just wanted to be the centre of attention for a change that's all. Be popular and be in the limelight. Not many girls are interested in someone who is into comic books or poetry!"

Buffy felt sympathy for him as she saw remorse on the teenager's face. Some of what her former classmate then vampire Holden had said to her last night was still swirling around in her brain. She really didn't like the ideas and theories about her mental state and well-being that Holden proposed to her. She had discussed things with him she had never discussed with either Willow or Xander. She got up from behind her desk coming around to lean on her table before him. "Believe me being the centre of attention isn't all it is cracked up to be," she told him. "You are the one everyone looks to; everyone wants to hear your plans and of course you must have a plan. You don't get a day off or get to make a mistake. You are the one who has to have all the ideas, it's tough and… very lonely."

He raised his eyebrow at her. "Lonely?" He asked surprised to use the word in the context of herself. She really was different than he thought she was. He had heard the stories or rumours about Buffy Summers when she attended the school before it had been blown up… which he heard that she may or may not been involved with depending on what rumour. Stories that made her sound cool and different than anyone he knew but surely, they must have been all made up.

"You would be surprised how many times I have felt like that in my life," she told him. "Despite my friends who I love to death and Dawn… it doesn't mean there aren't times when I felt like the loneliest person in the world." Strong shoulders are required to be a slayer such was the heavy burden the slayer had to carry. Last night she had talked about being alone… she shivered as she recalled last night.

R.J noticed her shiver. "So how did you overcome it?" R.J asked her.

Buffy snorted looking bemused at the question. "Who says I did?!" She is still far and away a work in progress.

"But you are like gorgeous!" He blurted out causing her to look away and blush a little. "Sorry I didn't mean that to come out like it sounded," he awkwardly apologised.

"How did you mean for it come out?" Buffy couldn't help but ask unable to help but have a little enjoyment at seeing the teenager squirm just a little.

R.J blushed even more and shifted in his seat a little caught under the spotlight that the woman was shining on him. "I… umm… I just meant that you look… well stunning… I mean pretty… no I meant beautiful even!" He stammered he looked up at her giggle and suddenly felt a little anger shot as he realised; she was teasing him. Typical like so many girls before she was just mocking him! He got up and from the chair in a huff and annoyance. "Thanks for the session counsellor!" He moved to head out the door, but Buffy got up move to stop him.

"I'm sorry!" She stated annoyed at herself for mocking a teenager boy on a sensitive topic. "I'm sorry for doing that it was uncalled for and I…" she would have said more but she looked in his eyes for a moment suddenly very aware of how close they were standing together. Buffy couldn't help but continue to look into his eyes and unable to help herself leaned forward and kissed him without even thinking or planning it. R.J was shocked at first but kissed the older woman back. Here she was a beautiful stunning woman kissing him he couldn't believe it was happening and certainly wasn't going to question it. Buffy sucked air in through her nose as she kissed him, her wet lips against his own, endeavouring to experience as much of him as she could in that moment.

It felt good to be in a man's arms Buffy considered as they made out, physical contact was something she had shied away from over the summer. He was warm, present and oh so eager as he matched her lips on his. The slayer inside of her yearned for more, to be let out of its cage and attack this boy. She felt something she hadn't felt for a while… a spark of life. The same spark that was threatening to be snuffed out under the weight of foreboding and doom. Something was coming on the horizon. Now she felt it back inside her and she wanted to grab hold of it by engaging in a kiss with the guy ahead of her.

The bell rang to remind them that they were in a high school and that she was a faculty member and that he was a student. Buffy almost sprang away from the teenager like he was electric. How did she allow this to happen? "Oh god!" She whispered touching her lips to check if what had happened had really just happened. "I'm sorry! Oh god what did we just do?!" She asked mainly to herself.

R.J stared at her in disbelief one second, he had a gorgeous blond woman in his arms and the next minute he was standing there shocked as she was. "Buffy," he began.

Oh, it gets worse he is using her first name! "Don't call me that!" she hissed at him. "Please just leave!" She told him sounding like a non-negotiable order. He did so leaving with a head full of questions.

The rest of day at school was, for the most part, bizarrely routine. Class followed class. After the counselling session with Buffy Summers that R.J had experienced which involved a kiss, going to class in the high school was so normal that he wondered if he hadn't dreamed the entire thing. But he didn't it had happened.

He had been there.

She had been there.

They had kissed and not because he was wearing a magical jacket! They had kissed as they were simply themselves. At least he hoped they were themselves. He certainly had been himself even if he wasn't so sure who and what that was. The magical jacket had brought him attention and fame and girls. He became popular overnight… and became a jock overnight as his brother told him no one cared about a writer but rather a sports guy. So, he followed his brother's advice and became a quarter back. He didn't think he was any good at it or as good as some of the other players on the team at least that is what Coach Wheeler constantly made sure to tell him at the end of every practice session. But still it was what popular people did, play sports, win games and soak up the applause. It was superficial as Buffy had told him or Mrs Summers as he was meant to be calling her. Of course, he was a student, and she was a faculty member. Point is while at first it was fun dating Lori the captain of the cheerleading squad but as they dated it was clear that they had nothing if anything in common. Still, she was beautiful and popular, so he quickly became popular. Still the more time he devoted to being popular R.J resulted in the less and less time he had doing things he did before like writing. Mr Gurin's English class had been one of favourite classes with the teacher encouraging him unlike the rest of the faculty who seemed to be on his case.

He sat back in his chair as his maths teacher continued on and on about numbers while gazing outside. Of course, he wasn't thinking about maths problems and equations but rather his thoughts again turned back to Buffy and that kiss. She seemed sincere and honest with him as she spoke about her own loneliness. Bizarre how someone so gorgeous could talk this way but then he recalled from what he had overheard about her and her sister Dawn was that her mom had passed away last year, and their dad didn't seem to be around. His mood darkened as he thought about his own parents. They were currently trying to start World War three via their lawyers. Rubbing his forehead they had been for years drifting apart until finally his mother had bit the bullet and filed the papers. All hell had broken loose with both parents throwing out threats and insults at each other whenever they are near. Suddenly schoolwork didn't seem that important. It was difficult to focus on anything particularly after kissing Buffy.

His mind wandered to the time before that when it had happened.

It was in a classroom but a a different classroom than the one he was currently in. This one was empty and not in use. R.J. looked around confused while Buffy closed the door behind them. "There's no one here," he stated wondering why she had dragged him out of class to come here.

Buffy smiled flirtatiously. "Yeah, there is," she told him seductively. She pointed to him. "There's one of you and there's one of me." She explained to him in a voice so thick with honey that she would have to visit the dentist tomorrow as she pointed to herself. She walked up to him seductively giving him a glimpse of her sexiest walk touching his back as she came near him. "You were the one in math class. Tell me what that adds up to," she playfully told him as she walked past him to nearby desks. He was stuck dumb by how lovely and shapely her rear was in her tight skirt. The view that R.J got was a thing of beauty, Buffy Summers had a perfect ass, it was shapely and firm. He really wanted to run his hand up her legs and feel how smooth her legs were as he did.

She turned to him amused at his thoughts and where they were taking him. She was well aware of what he had been staring at particularly feeling him burning a hole in her ass. She knew she had a good ass. Due to slaying she did a lot of running and kicking, so she kept her butt in pretty good shape, just by default. She knew she had him on the ropes. "I've always been fascinated by football. So, what's it like to lead a team?" Buffy asked facing the teen acting all interested in the teen before her.

"The thing of it is the time. Nobody gets how much time goes into it, with practices and games," he explained. He certainly didn't expect it to be so demanding when he first started. Just simply turn up at games, score and enjoy the trophy that is what he had expected.

She nodded like he had just read her poetry from the heart. "I totally get it. I was kinda juggling some stuff when I was in high school, too, which was also very recent." She said quickly trying to keep cool in her overwhelming desire. "Principal Snyder was always on me."

R.J snorted "I still say Wood's the worst. You haven't seen the way that guy rides me. I wish somebody'd get him off my back.

"Yeah, that would be cool," Buffy agreed eyeing up his lips.

R.J began again venting his frustration. "And sometimes, I didn't even do anything wrong-" Buffy grabbed him by the collar interrupting him and kissing him passionately. Pure lust was coming off Buffy in waves as she reached for his face. They kiss for a moment, then he pulled back. "You're like a teacher," R.J stated.

"Not really," Buffy replied sweetly. "But, I mean, does it bother you?" She hoped to God the answer was yes because if it was no she might just die on the spot.

After a moment R.J replied. "Not so much," and the pair kissed again with no hesitation as passion soured between them the respective heats of their mouths, and their tongues entwining drove up the temperature of the entire room. The pair shuffled and bumped into a desk as they made out hungrily. Unable to help himself now that he was within grabbing distance of that beautiful ass the school's guidance counsellor processed R.J ran his hands down her back before sliding them up under her skirt and over the firm tight behind. Buffy moaned in response as the young man played with her ass, groping and kneading the smooth flesh through her lacey panties while she just pushed back into his hands and enjoyed it. His mouth moved nibbling down her neck kissing and sucking at her flesh.

The slayer in her awoke as she hadn't been touched like that in months and she needed it now more than anything. She grunted picking him up and slamming him hard down on the desk. The teen looked at her in disbelief at how the tiny slim blond had managed such a feat. His panicked mind quickly stopped at forming such questions as she ran her hands over her body and gave him a sexy smile. "I guess I should be taking something off now," Buffy teased with a grin as she undid a few buttons on her shirt slowly, revealing the black bra she was wearing underneath her eyes never leaving the teenager's lust-filled ones. His breaths were ragged as she kicked off her heels climbing on top of him. She was so far in heat that he could do whatever he wanted to her, and she would cheer him on. She leaned down his dick pressing into her stomach as she rubbed her breasts in his face. The teenager grinned unable to believe his luck. Buffy moved onto his thigh and started to rub herself on him as if she was desperately trying to get rid of an itch.

She moved up away from his face to see him panting for air all red-faced. "You're so beautiful," he croaked out. She ran her fingers under his t-shirt and along his stomach and chest. A solid month of football practice had help chisel out his junk-food body and he could tell that Mrs Summers liked what was under her fingers. It became inconceivable for her to stop this amazing wave of desire. As they kissed passionately—hands caressing each other—they moved together in a sensual dance, lost in the heat of the moment. Buffy bit her lip as she went for his zipper and R.J felt his pulse quicken… only for the classroom door to burst open…

And for R.J to jerk awake as his maths teacher kicked his small table. "Are you with us Mr R.J?! Only some of your moans were becoming distracting! "he barked at him. R.J blinked hard dazed realising that he had fallen asleep causing several other classmates to snigger. R.J shuck down in his seat embarrassed.

He felt so out of his depth.

Work should have provided a distraction.

She was a faculty member with responsibilities and paperwork to go over and file, but she just couldn't get the feeling of kissing a student out of her head. What on earth was she thinking?! That was high up on the list of wrongness! A list that Buffy had already managed to appear on several times over. You teach students! You don't kiss them!

God she was losing her mind Buffy decided as she began packing up her things having decided to leave work early. One bad night slaying, one more drama about Spike and she had managed to make a terrible mistake which only made her mind relive it again and again. Not only that her stupid slayer urges were jumping up and down inside of her. God she really needed to stake something or someone! Her stake she kept in her purse was almost calling to her. She was debating about whether heading straight to a cemetery now that school was finishing. There must be a vamp in crypt or something. She was almost tempted to hit the tunnels in the sewer system.

A knock came at her door and before Buffy could say anything R.J entered. Oh no this was not good! She was moving to usher him out in an instant. "You cannot be here!" she hissed at the teen.

"You can't just shut me out Buffy! We need to talk!" R.J stated closing the door. "You kissed me!" R.J stated a little too loud for Buffy's tastes.

"Keep it down!" she hissed at him checking the door to see if anyone was coming in after him. "Look you were vulnerable, I was vulnerable, there was a whole vulnerability moment when everyone was vulnerable, but it will never happen again and no one else can know about it! You need to just forget about it. Go back to how we were. Counsellor! Pupil!" She told him quickly and firmly hoping he would simply agree and that would be the end of it.

R.J just looked at her for a second. "Yeah, that's right, wrong place, wrong time and all those hormones. There were no electric shocks, no shivers down your spine and you've, of course, never even gave it a second thought. In fact, I could push you against that wall and kiss you and you wouldn't feel a thing."

Buffy almost jumped, just the thought of it sending those non-existent shivers up and down her spine. Stupid slayer desires. She swallowed and spoke. "That's exactly right! Look you have class and should just head back there!" She moved past him towards the door. He took hold of her arms and turned her towards him. Feeling bold and reckless he leaned down and kissed her.

She could have stopped him. Hell with her slayer strength she could have thrown him into the other side of the room and through the wall before he knew what was happening, but she didn't. Instead by an unspoken agreement she moved closer bringing her hand up cupping his face slowly brushing her lips against his. Their heads moved and tongues clashed as they made out grasping and touching each other. The little spark was back inside Buffy. It was too addictive and powerful to ignore so she gave in and indulged it. Despite the fog of pleasure clouding her buzzed brain, Buffy quickly understood what the hardness pressing against her stomach was and couldn't deny she wasn't sad about it. R.J was hard as a rock, and to be able to excite a male to primal passion made Buffy feel sexy. A feeling she had felt anything but in a long time.

Buffy's phone goes off startling the pair breaking them apart.

Buffy has been waiting on a call all day and can't but move away from R.J over to answer it. Sure, enough Anya's voice is on the other end. "It's me. He's leaving," the former vengeance demon states.

This caused Buffy to sigh a little eyeing up the sunlight from the blinds. It would be dark soon and Spike would be wandering the streets. She gave acknowledged the information she had been given and hung up before turning back to R.J. "I really have to go!" she told him firmly. He opened his mouth to protest but she walked forward with a pen and paper now. "Here is my number!" she told him firmly shoving the paper in his hand before handing him a piece and the pen. "Write yours." He did so quickly, not going to be asked twice. "I will call you," she stated before hesitating a little then just moving forward before she could rethink anything kissed the teen short and sweetly.

She was out the door with her belongings in moment leaving the bewildered teen behind.

This had been a surreal day.
