Biography:
Born in Beijing, China, in March 3rd of 1906 A.D.
She was the heiress of a wealthy family, and her father was a mechanical genius who liked to disassemble machines to put them back together. When the Xinhai Revolution broke out in 1911, bandits assaulted her home and killed her parents and two sisters in a fire. Kohran herself was shot, and she only saved her life because her latent psychic powers awakened and deviated the bullet into a watch kept in the pocket of her shirt. She was adopted by a peasant woman who would treat her as domestic help and beat her over the smallest mistakes.
After several years, Li was found by Fujieda Ayame and recruited for Japan's Imperial Combat Revue. She was moved to Kobe, where she was raised by inventor Percy Howard, and so she adopted a Kansai accent when speaking in Japanese. In 1921 she joined the steam mecha team of young female pilots, the Revue's Flower Division, hidden under the visage of a theatre troupe. She acted as their mechanic and one of the pilots for their Kobu units.
As a Servant, Rider always pilots her Kobu, a tall robotic humanoid powered by steam. She develops the Kobu around her as soon as she is attacked, and The World doesn't recognize attacks targeting her while she is on foot. This is because she is registered as a Servant with the Kobu, although she can function freely out of her while in her everyday life.
Class Skills:
Riding: A
Rider is an expert Kobu pilot. While her robot is not as strong as those piloted by most of her teammates she has a high synchronization with it, and it is best equiped to attack from a distance with guns and projectiles. The robot is well armored as well, its shell rebuking most artillery shot at it.
She also excels at bicycles, and she can drive motorized land vehicles and fly airplanes expertly. She is only mediocre at riding animals, but her skill with them doesn't fall below subpar levels.
Dragons and phantasmal beasts are impossible to control by the Servant.
Magic Resistance: B
Rider is resistant against greater magecraft or Greater Rituals. Depending on the situation, even greater magecraft would be completely invalidated by her.
While she didn't have enough psychic power to match Shinguji Sakura and the other members of the Division the government stationed her at, she has spiritual power far surpassing that of the average human, including defenses. She helped to defeat many demons threatening Japan and the planet as a whole, with far more mental fortitude than conveyed by her youthful and ingenue appearance.
Personal Skills:
Dual Summon: A
She has the skills of a Rider as well as those of a Caster, and in warfare she performs like a combination of both classes, but being weak to Assassins.
Behind the frontlines, she rather would prefer acting as a Caster, interacting with others directly and tinkering with science, her first love.
Item Creation: A
She can readily and quickly construct many diverse utensils and mechanical tools. While they often explode on her face in a harmless way and leaving only her features covered on smoke after a first use, during that use they will work splendidly and just as intended.
She also is skilled at chemistry and physics, and she has a very efficient knowledge of medicine and mathematics. She can structure and organize units meant for agriculture to better support any military base she is stationed at.
Rider specializes at building and repairing mecha. However, while she can theoretically build more Kobus given enough resources, these only can be piloted by those with akin spiritual energy, making them useless for most people.
Territory Creation: B+
Creation of a versatile Workshop becomes possible.
The Workshop will have gunfire defenses installed against enemy attacks, and it only can be entered by those recognized by Rider as her allies.
Expert of Many Specialties: B
Rider is an accomplished actress and singer as well as a fighter and researcher. She specializes on comedy skits, but also can fool others with thespian mastery, although she is not good with disguises.
She can handle guns just fine on her own, and although she doesn't fight that way as a Servant on the battlefield, she can snipe others with them without having to reveal herself from afar. Once she is spotted the Kobu will appear around her.
She is a decent tactician, although if possible she will always defer authority to those she deems her superior officers, taking over only in cases of need.
Noble Phantasm:
Kobu Kai Limit Breakers- The Ace Under the Sleeve of the Flower Division: A
Anti-Army.
Up to 90 enemies at a time.
The Kobu of Rider activates its ultimate long distance functions to overwhelm the enemy. They are different kinds of smaller mechanic devices shot from the body of the Kobu and dealing additional explosive damage.
They can be spread all across the battlefield to cover more ground.
These attacks include:
Chibi Robo: a swarm of miniature flying drones. They selfdestruct in contact with the enemy and deliver massive damage.
Seijuu Robo: four animal themed mecha, slightly larger than the Chibi Robo. All of them are modeled after the four Sino-Japanese gods of ancient myths, and are flung to impact the target. The Suzaku spits flames, the Seiryu shoots a freezing ray, the Byakko performs a spinning attack that hits thrice, and the Genbu finishes the combined attack by exploding like a miniature, non-radioactive nuke.
Chibi Robo Nishiki: tiny mecha duplicates of the Kobu that toss even smaller projectiles at the target before latching onto it and exploding.
These attacks deal extra damage against enemies with the Demon trait.
Start of Battle:
"Imperial Combat Revue, engaging!"
"The stage is set!"
"Singing hearts, go!"
"Launching a full scale attack!"
Attack:
"Good job!"
"Target, lock on!"
"Open fire!"
"It looks good!
Damage:
"Kyaaaa!"
"Get ready to counterstrike!"
"We won't be beaten so easily!"
"Just a brief setback!"
Damage by Noble Phantasm: "We have suffered too much damage!"
Victory:
"Bravo! Bravo!"
"Thank you, we'll be here all week long!"
"Did you get to watch all of that, Commander?"
"I'm only doing my job."
Defeat:
"The Commander trusted me!"
"Uwaaa!"
"They... They can't win..."
"I should've selfdestructed with them."
Summon: "Are you the Commander? Servant Rider, Li Kohran, reporting for active duty! I also can function as a Caster if you would want me to! Waiting for your first orders!"
Noble Phantasm Activation:
"Unlocking the Kobu's drone units! Deploying mana to every functional unit! Let's go!"
Extra Dialogue:
"Are you a fighter against demons? In that event, I'm quite willing to assist you, Madame. They are a menace to the wellbeing of all Japan!" (When you have Berserker Minamoto no Raikou).
"Oh, a fellow daughter of the homeland! I'm honored! I'll also be glad to help you with your Japanese! How long have you been practicing it? I see.. That long? Huh..." (When you have Lancer or Berserker Shan Pu or Lancer Ku Fei).
"Impressive... How could I even begin to compare to the Titan of Steam...? You have even transformed your body into a beautiful homage to your craft and science!" (When you have Caster Charles Babbage).
"Oh, the prince of stageplays, the most accomplished writer on history. So that's him, huh? I must admit I was expecting for a more pleasant individual, now I won't be able to perform his plays again without feeling slightly dirty." (When you have Caster William Shakespeare).
"I cannot keep up with those people. What's up with their talents? What is the secret of such impossible performances? Supernatural origins, you say? Commander, be careful! Then they might be in cahoots with the demons!" (When you have Caster Skuld or Caster Wahu).
"What did you just call me? 'Senpai'? Uh, well, I'm honored, but I'm not that good an actress either, for that you would want Sumire-han... Frankly, I'd feel more at ease being called a Senpai at science, but I suppose that's not your field of expertise." (When you have Assassin Murakami Natsumi).
Birthday: "Would you... Would you really like to spend your birthday with me? I, I'm so touched... Very well! I'll do my best to make the Commander's birthday a happy one!"
Event: "Oh, this brings so many memories... I wonder if they have a ferris wheel there...?"
Holy Grail: "My fondest wish would be putting all the troupe back together. But... alas, it's not 1924 anymore... I'm aware of that..."
Next: The raging cajun!
