Chapter 2: feelings
Few years, Sofia thought about how she has discovered that she has developed feelings for her best friend Cedric and how to tell him without feeling rejected by him.
Sofia heard from her older sister Amber talk about company from one of their friends prince Desmond from royal prep which Sofia and her brother James know secretly about prince Desmond have a huge crush on Amber that she doesn't realize it.
As their carriage land in front of the castle, they greeted by their parents and butler Baileywick but little disappointed that Cedric was not here to greet her when she has arrived that he must have forgot about it. That she told her parents that she will see them later as she goes see Cedric as she climbs the stairs that lead to her best friend/mentor/secret crush Cedric's workshop with her familiar knock on the door.
Meanwhile in the workshop nothing changes for Cedric since give a second chance beside king Roland and Sofia give him a title with Cedric the great or the sensational if Cedric wants to change it up. That with Sofia's kindness to keep his job as royal sorcerer and at his worktable sit in a chair read/study over some spells in a spell book that he finds in a library in the village.
Cedric reflects how Sofia save him from himself from darkness while at the same time Cedric have feelings for his princess and afraid if Roland find out that he has feelings for his daughter the last time she was home before she left for school, and he notice how she grow to young adult plus she still matures she develops over the years.
Cedric heard a familiar knock on the door that he missed, and he said you can come in Sofia as Sofia enter the workshop and she saw nothing change beside empty bird stand with Wormwood gone and that Cedric don't want no pet as a replace at the moment that Sofia is happy see him.
As Sofia sit in her normal spot like good old days as Sofia see that Cedric look through some spells as Cedric put the book down at the table and give Sofia his attention with how was school and Sofia said school going into details and that Cedric was surprise to hear that Sofia major in sorcery at the school, sorcery major is brand new that the headmaster decide add to the school since headmaster went to school at Hexley Hall before lay a job at this school.
Sofia took out her training wand and show Cedric some spells that she learns in one of her sorcery's classes that Cedric was impress with the performance and that Sofia request Cedric about continue with magic lesson since she is home for the whole summer and Cedric accept her request on continue give her magic lessons since she goes be home. Cedric is happy to have his apprentice back to help him out with spells or potions and Cedric told Sofia good job with her performance that she blushes little with a reply with a thanks.
Sofia was thinking about who can tell about her feelings and that later she goes talk to her friend Clover later tonight about it since he is her best friend but in rabbit form beside Cedric that she is goal about being sorceress since she was little girl and she was fond of magic that Cedric was touch that Sofia want to follow in his footsteps as sorceress with a bond connection that she has with Cedric.
