Sofia stays in Cedric's workshop to help him with some of the potion's tasks and they notice that it was get late because they almost lost track of time. Cedric told Sofia go ahead have dinner with your family and Sofia said OK that I see you tomorrow Mr. Cedric.
As Sofia go downstairs and she is wondering how her family go to reaction with her feelings on their royal sorcerer if he could court her even, he is older than her that tomorrow morning she will talk to her father about it so that he doesn't have to put a suitor for her when she come to age when the princes ask her to court her.
she doesn't want to be in arrange marriage to someone she don't love, and she want to choose who she wants to court with after dinner she was in her room to see that her friend clover was in room and that she was sit at her window seat next to him talk clover about some advice her feeling for Cedric. clover give her some of his best advice.
Sofia thanks clover for the advice with head rub and apple pie from dinner. Which clover dive right into and happy about the treat his friend Sofia give him and as Sofia get ready for bed and fall asleep. The next day after breakfast, Sofia told his father she like to talk to him, and Roland said sure as they went to his study to talk in privacy what been on her mind.
Roland asks his daughter what you want to talk to me about and Sofia ask about when she come to age if she can pick someone to court with, Roland thinks about his daughter's question and that he understands because he marries her mom outside of royal line. Roland said sure but who do you have in mind you want to court with, and Sofia said she can't say because it complicated, and I don't know if this person feels the same way about her.
Roland has a slight idea who it is and told Sofia that whoever this person is must hold a special place in your heart and must be lucky. Roland goes wait until Sofia tell him who this special person is that hold special place in her heart to go ask him about it. After Sofia was happy to get her father's approval, after Sofia left.
Roland thinks about the talk he had with his daughter Sofia, and he know that Sofia has feelings for their royal sorcerer with their strong bond how well they work together. In few years Roland notices the changes that Sofia make an impact on Cedric from bumble sorcerer to better one after the royal family start being nicer to him. Roland reflects with what happened to them since they grow up in the castle under their famous father, but they start make amend for themselves and for Sofia's sake.
Roland knows Sofia is different since she doesn't grow up as a royal that she would pick someone else in her way. That what him and Miranda wants for their children marry for love then doing arrange marriage for them. Sofia is still happy that she got her father's approval and now find a way to tell her crush how she feels about him.
