Chapter 23: Return of Past
Few days after prince James shared the good news with his family and that Sofia told Vivian about that they should do a sleepover next week plus extend the invite to Amber and Calista that Vivan agree to it since she never met Cedric's niece but heard Sofia talk about her.
Meanwhile far away in hidden secret place where Grimtrix and Derek is nobody find them and as wonder what to do now since their plan had failure and Grimtrix have an idea and sent a letter to previous student named Paul who he discovers used to be marry Cordelia is Cedric's sister about his help.
When Paul arrives at the location to meet with Griimtrix after Paul met Derek then he explains about need his help about get revenge on Cedric and Sofia that Paul agrees to it. Paul explains that he was go on get revenge on his ex-wife and her family, so he sent an innocent letter to his ex-wife about how he had turned his life around and want to reconnect with his daughter.
During the summer as everyone is in tender since Grimtrix and Derek escape before they got arrested plus Cordelia and her daughter Calista stay with her brother for two weeks as their home is being remodeling. That their relationship got better now after finding out the truth about Cordelia's hair and Cedric was able to bring her hair back as new.
Calista always looks forward to hanging out with her uncle ceddy and her best friend Sofia as they are setting down at the castle then sudden Cordelia get a surprise letter from her disgusted ex-husband named Paul. she read the letter about he had turn his life around after got release five years ago that he wants to reconnect with his daughter.
Cedric took the letter from his sister's hand about have no contract with him or don't speak his name plus burn the letter that make the girls wonder who this person is, and that Calista have little memory of her father. Cedric and Cordelia end up explain to Sofia and Calista about what happened and long time ago when she and her ex-husband Paul was married when Calista was four days old.
How Paul would come home every night late which leave Cordelia take care of the baby by herself that she could take it anymore that she files divorce and take her daughter to go back to her parent's house. She then learns later that he got into trouble with stealing illegal magical items with the magic court.
Couple days later they met with Paul who arrive at the castle which Sofia meet this Paul guy and had bad feeling about him as well as Cedric, and Paul fake reconnect with his ex-family and as he got alone time with Cordelia in the sitting room. That when he goes ahead got his revenge plus add with Sofia, Cedric by drain their magic in his body.
That put Calista on rage which make Paul proud of his daughter and Calista said ex-daughter plus you are no father to me that a true father will never hurt his family. Calista fought her ex-father and as some of the magic restore back to them. Sofia had the guards to arrest him which put them in shock that Paul was work with Grimtrix and Derek to him in dungeon.
Calista thought about she had her uncle ceddy to look up to if she wants a father figure in her life.
