"Talk"

'Thought'

"Please, Mademoiselle, allow me to light up a safe path for us."

Jerry Orbach, also known as the "Fiery Love of Hestia," used his semblance to summon floating candles made from pure light and fire. He spread them out and flew away. Not only did the entire group see the once dark tunnel of the cave, which seemed to have been a mining area, but the floating candles also led and created a path so they wouldn't get lost.

"Thank you."

Blake, even though her thanks were genuine and appreciated what Orbach had done, she was still focused on the mission and task at hand, so it might have come off as a bit cold and slightly impatient, quickly walking forward, with Circe and Angela Lansbury by her side, with Tim Curry and Paul Reubens close behind.

"It seems she's still worried about her Son."

The one who stayed a bit behind, besides the Fiery Hestia, was David Ogden Stiers, also known as the "Timeless Butler"; he stood next to his fellow Nyx members as they watched their Mistress walk forward without slowing down.

"I don't blame her, any caring parent would."

Jerry sighs and shakes his head, as he and his partner walk forward to follow the rest of the group, not wanting to be left behind.

"But to go to such lengths, to personally save her child herself, I can never imagine such a thing."

Jerry looks back at Blake Belladonna, though he knew her as Bureiku Beradon'na, the same person he once thought capable, but not "This Capable." It truly made him confused and unsure about what he truly thought of her, a feeling shared by Ogden.

"Though isn't that the reason why you found our Lady so beautiful when we first met her?"

But despite such uncertainty, it didn't stop David from admiring his lady, even bringing up how Orbach and he met the cat faunus, which made him reminisce and think about the past.

/Flashback\

"Remember, this is the first day on the job in serving the Great Priestess of Fortuna, so please don't embarrass me with your, "Fiery Personality", alright?"

David and his so-called "Fiery Personality" friend could be seen standing before the front entrance of a simple mansion. Both gentlemen seemed to be preparing themselves and making sure to look proper before entering such a place.

"I know how to handle myself, you should be more worried about yourself."

Jerry used a portable brush to straighten and fix his own hair, all while talking back to his partner.

"I do not have anything to fix about myself."

David crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at French men.

"Should I remind you of your constant whining of being on time?"

Jerry huffs as he puts away his brush.

"Is there something wrong with having a schedule and making sure to follow it?"

David raised an eyebrow at such a claim.

"We shall see when you annoy our new Mademoiselle with it~"

Jerry mocks and teases his fellow butler, who just sighs and shakes his head in response. Once they felt more confident and prepared, they decided it was time to meet their mistress. Knocking on the door, they waited to be accepted. Luckily, it didn't take long, as the door opened, revealing a certain lady in waiting.

"Ah, you must be the new hires, Sir David and Jerry I believe?"

Angela was able to instantly recognize and knew who the two gentlemen were at the front door.

"Good evening, and you are correct, we were both hired to be personal butlers for our Lady."

Both David and Orbach bow before the head maid, introducing themselves and stating their purpose of being here.

"Where is our Madame Bureiku? Not to sound rude, but I am eager to meet the one who wields the Legendary Yamato~"

Jerry in particular seemed a bit eager to meet his so-called Lady, a mix of curious and personal interests to meet the infamous Priestess, making Ogden roll his eyes in response.

"Please follow me."

Angela allows the two butlers to enter and then starts to lead them in and through the inside of the mansion.

"Quite a lovely home our Lady lives in."

David couldn't help but admire the interior of the mansion, both from size and how lovely it looks.

"Thank you, me and my fellow maids try our best to keep everything spotless and clean."

Angela thanks and explains how she tries her best to keep everything neat and proper, as well as passing by a certain fellow maid with a feather duster.

"Madame~"

Jerry couldn't help but take immediate interest and gave a quick yet personal greeting for the feather dusting maid, who giggles in response and waves hello.

"Oh! Are these people here to help my Mother?"

Soon the handmaid and two new butlers were stopped by a young child, Kyrie Beradon'na, the daughter of Bureiku Beradon'na, she looked at the new gentlemen with curiosity.

"Yes they are, I was just about to show them to our Lady as we spoke."

Angela nods and confirms what the young girl assumed, the child nods and looks up and carefully at the butlers.

"Please help Mother, she could really use it."

Was all Kyrie had to say, before bowing politely and excusing herself quickly, leaving the servants alone to think about what the child had requested from them.

"Quite a kind child, her Mother must be very pleased to have such a wonderful Daughter."

David was able to instantly notice the kind and gentle heart that the Daughter of Beradon'na possessed, something he couldn't help respect.

"She might seem young and innocent, but she is quite perceptive, be sure to keep that in mind."

Angela informs the two butlers before continuing to walk forward and leads them; soon, all three servants have arrived in some kind of office room of the famous Priestess of Fortuna.

"Lady Bureiku, your newly hired butler has arrived."

And once Angela had led the two newly hired butlers into the office, they were finally able to meet the legend herself.

'B-Beautiful…'

And what Jerry saw, he couldn't help but just, "Admire", in what he saw, jaws dropped and eyes widened in disbelief in what he had witnessed.

"Um, hello, you must be David and Jerry, right?"

That being that catches the eyes and heart of Orbach was, of course, Blake Belladonna, standing in front of the big window behind her, letting the sunlight shine through and allowing everyone to see the beauty that is the Priestess of Fortuna, the Lady of Nightshades, and the Bride who wields the Yamato itself. It was clear that seeing the real person was more fantastical than just hearing about her.

"Sorry if I am not giving you a proper welcome, as you can see, I've been busy, you know, being a Priestess and a Mother, all that."

Blake sighed in slight disappointment and embarrassment, holding her son Nero Belladonna Sparda with one arm, while reading reports and other paperwork with the other. "Fiery Personality" admired the beauty itself, but Ogden was more interested in what his lady was doing and had accomplished.

'She, has she really done all this, despite being this young?'

And so far, David was beyond impressed, despite someone so young, he could see that Bureiku was the type of person who had already done so much, not only from the work she was doing now, nor from the child she was currently raising, but he could just tell, by looking into the amber eyes, eyes that had seen everything and experienced even more of it, he just knew, that she was someone worth serving.

"I never had a butler before, but, uh, I hope we get along and become great friends, right?"

However, before Blake could get a chance to actually talk to her new butler, having a moment to get to know each other, she was cut off by the two suddenly getting on one knee and giving such a gentleman's bow for her, much to her surprise.

"We Are Ready To Serve, Milady/Mademoiselle!"

And with that, starts the day of both David and Jerry submitting and offering their full hearts, souls, and loyalty to their one true Mistress, that being Blake herself, who was just confused about the whole thing.

"O-Oh? Thank you?"

/End Flashback\

"Yes, that's why our Madame Bureiku is so beautiful."

Jerry chuckles softly, recalling those memories, finding it slightly silly to have pledged to Beradon'na from beauty alone, but he knew he made the right choice in sticking with and serving her.

"Well, I can't deny that's not my reason either, to be loyal to our Lady."

David gave a small smile, while he likes to consider himself more proper about it, having more reasons and standards to serve the Priestess of Fortuna, he wasn't going to lie and say he felt the same as his partner.

"Couldn't have said it better myself, my friend."

Jerry pats his fellow Nyx member's shoulders, no matter the odds and differences between the two, he knows he could always trust him to be there with him, no matter how moody their Mademoiselle gets.

"Now, shall we continue to follow?"

Jerry then offers to catch up with Bureiku and the rest of the Nyx, joining them and continuing on the adventures they committed to when they signed up to serve.

"I might have doubts our own skills and abilities will be of any real use for our Mistress, but that won't stop me from standing by her side and ready to serve when needed."

And with that, both David and Jerry catch up with the rest of the group, to help when needed, whether it be to play support, fight demonic foes, or even just simply charter to the needs of Blake, the two butlers do their parts and will continue to make themselves useful, no matter how small the tasks are.

"So, how was your date with our duster maid?~"

"Silence You!"

BTW, if you're curious on how the Royal Guard Nyx team looks like, just look up the human forms of Potts, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Forte and Fife from the "Beauty and the Beast" disney cartoon movies, and then imagine them in DMC Styles.

(Maybe I'll make a Circe fanart, since she's the only one I'm interested in all honesty, but I'm unsure)
