Ch1

Hiro Hamada stood on the stage the spotlight on him as he anxiously looked at the crowd of people. "Here at San Fransokyo we have been pioneering the next level of healthcare technology."

Hitting a button Baymax appeared on stage and waved at the crowd. "Baymax is a personal healthcare unit who can provide a variety of health care related services."

Clicking another button a video on the screen played. In the video Baymax scanned a patient and began to treat them. There were a few nods and mutters of curiosity from the crowd.

His palms began to sweat as he clicked onto the next slide. "In a study conducted in various clinics across the San Fransokyo area Baymax has been able to increase patient satisfaction by over 90%."

Clicking on another slide more images of Baymax helping others appeared on screen. "Ladies and Gentleman Baymax is just one many great projects done at this university, I hope you can enjoy the many projects we have been working on."

As the crowd applauded him he breathed an internal sigh of relief. He and Baymax did a polite bow before exiting the stage. Man what a relief.

"You did well Hiro," His dean said. "Will you stay for the banquet?"

"Uh sure we'll be there," he said. Man that was nerve wracking. Frankly he could use the food though he knew this banquet would have many important donors.

"Just show off Baymax and if you need help one of us can help you," his dean said.

"Got it."

After getting a glass of water he sat down with Baymax and watched the next few speakers talking about how great the university was and how much they were planned on helping the community. Frankly, he didn't mind helping out his school. After all they were paying for most of his tuition but still raising money from donors wasn't his strong suit.

"Alright Baymax lets go," he said as he got up and stretched his tired body. His suit was a bit itchy but his aunt insisted he wear it.

The reception room was full of adults wearing fancy suits. "Alright Hiro just follow my lead," His dean said.

He nodded and put on a smile as he was lead to meet various influential people and friends of the university. Eventually his dean brought him to a tall man in a fancy suit with a stern look in his eyes. "Hello Mr. Agreste this is Hiro Hamada."

"Uh nice to meet you sir," he said politely. The man looked down at him with a cold glare that made him flinch.

"Uh yes Mr. Hamada your presentation was very interesting," Mr. Agreste said with a mild French accent.

"Um thank you sir," he said politely.

Mr. Agreste looked down at him with his dark eyes as if analyzing some science experiment. "Tell me how well does your Baymax take care of comatose patients?"

"Um he's helped a few people in a coma but I haven't tested him extensively on a comatose patient," he said as politely as he could. The man's hard gaze unnerved him, Mr. Agreste definitely gave off an unfriendly vibe.

"I see." Mr. Agreste looked at him and then at his dean. "You're work seems interesting, I hope to see more of it." With that he turned around and left.

He breathed an internal sigh of relief. "Wow that was interesting."

"Don't worry we have other donors," his dean said. "Besides Mr. Agreste is always like that from what I hear."

"Good to know," he said.

His dean patted him on the back. "Go take a break you deserve it."

"Thanks." He quickly went to get some snacks to refresh himself. Hopefully our department gets some funds. As much as he didn't like buttering people up for money his school was paying for a lot of things, the least he could is talk to people for the department and show Baymax around.

"Uh hello."

He turned around to see a blonde haired kid around his age with green eyes wearing a button down white shirt. "Um thanks. Are you into robotics?"

"No but one of my friends is." The boy extended a hand. "I'm Adrien Agreste."

He shook the hand, the boy seemed nice and gaze off a friendly vibe. "Hiro Hamada. Like Gabriel Agreste's son?"

Adrien nodded. "Yeah. Hope he didn't scare you too much."

He chuckled. "Oh I'm fine. So what brings you to San Fransokyo?"

"Oh I've always wanted to visit here," Adrien said with an excited grin. "My dad also wants to study some fashion, this city is a nice mixture of east and west."

"It sure is," he said. "San Fransokyo has a lot of different influences. You know if you're around I don't mind showing around?"

Adrien's eyes lit up. "Sure I would love that. Your presentation was pretty cool too, did you build Baymax?"

He shook his head as they exchanged numbers. "No. My brother did but I'm continuing to make improvements on his work."

"Oh I see." Adrien then looked at his watch. "Sorry I better get going my father and I have things to do. It was nice meeting with you Hiro."

He smiled. "You too Adrien."

Well he seems like a nice guy. Unlike his father Adrien seemed warmer. Looking down at the number in his phone he made sure it was saved before putting it away.

After another round of talking with potential donors he was told he could go home. Man what a day. By the time he got home his aunt was still out so he went to his garage and decided to take fly around the city for a bit.

"Alright Baymax you read?" He asked as he put on his armor.

"I am always ready," Baymax said.

He smiled at the robot as he got on. "Alright lets go."

Activating the thrusters they flew into the night sky the cool wind of the city passing by him as they flew over the bright lights of San Fransokyo. A sense of relief washed over him as they patrolled the city. Being a superhero wasn't always easy but flying on Baymax was always calming.

Landing on the roof of a building he scanned the area for anything suspicious. It didn't take long form him to hear the sounds of someone landing not too far from him.

He quickly turned around ready to fight as he saw a guy in a cat costume of all things. "Can I help you?" He asked.

"Bonjour." The guy seemed to be around his age and had a mischievous grin. His body was covered in a type of leather uniform that highlighted a decent figure. "I'm just visiting, the name's Cat Noir. I'm sure you've heard of me, I'm pretty big in Paris."

He lowered his guard, the guy didn't seem unfriendly. "Cool. I'm Hiro of Big Hero 6, what brings you here?"

Cat Noir shrugged. "Just on vacation. You work alone?"

"I have teammates," he said. Looking the cat hero over the guy seemed alright and didn't give off any threatening vibes. Whoever he was beneath that mask he appeared to be around his general age range. His skin tight suit revealed a toned athletic body with firm muscles.

Cat Noir grinned. "Cool. I know we just met but do you mind racing this cat?"

He raised an eyebrow. "A race?"

Cat Noir nodded. "Yeah I want to run through this city. What do you say?"

He shrugged. "Sure why not."

A cat themed hero? This is a new one.

Getting onto Baymax he noticed Cat Noir take out a staff. "Alright first one to the pier wins."

Cat Noir grinned as his staff extended. "Great!"

"On your mark, get set, go!" He immediately activated his thrusters and flew off into the sky.

A part of him was expecting cat boy to be eating his dust but to his surprise the cat superhero was leaping through the air matching his pace.

Who is this guy? He had heard of other superheroes before but didn't know each and everyone of them. Whoever this cat guy was moved with ease as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop with elegant grace.

They both raced through the city passing through various billboards and brightly lit buildings. He frowned as he noticed Cat Noir take the lead, hitting his thrusters he pushed Baymax to his max speed as they flew through the cold night.

Cat Noir managed to keep up with his speed as they approached the pier. Come on I can't lose on my own home turf.

His heart raced as he pushed Baymax to his limit leaning forward as the pier came into sight. For a moment he thought he would've beaten Cat Noir yet as they approached the cat hero leaped into the air and landed a few feet in front of him.

He swore as he hit the brakes on Baymax. Cat Noir grinned as he twirled his baton. "Not bad, you fly well."

"You too." He got off Baymax and looked Cat Noir over. The hero appeared to be around his age and his dark suit outlined a toned figure. "So how did you like the city?"

Cat Noir smiled. "Oh it was great. Now as winner I believe I am entitled to a prize."

He raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"Oh nothing serious." Cat Noir leaned on his baton and smiled. "I want you to show me around this city. I'm a cat on vacation and would like to have some company."

He looked the cat hero over and shrugged. "Sure why not." Seems nice enough even if he is a bit eccentric.

AN: For Big Hero 6 I will only use the movie canon and nothing from the show.
