Digimon Story: The Next Order

A month has passed since the world went back to normal. Six chosen ones fought with Digimon to save two worlds. Little did they know that defeating the Eaters was not the end of it. A new threat has appeared in the Digital World. Now the Cyber Sleuths and their friends are on the case to save Digimon from a war. ...And new allies join them from close by and somewhere VERY far way.

2. Chapter 2: Digimon at War

Welcome back Digimon fans. If you thought last chapter was dull and short, then rejoice because we got a big, fat, juicy, action-packed chapter today!

Takumi and the others explained how things changed in the human world. Including EDEN Syndrome, Rie Kashibi, Satoru Kamishiro, Suedou, the Digital Monster App, and how nobody but them remembered the situation in the past. "…and that's about it." Takumi concluded.

Dorumon nodded. "I see."

Terriermon grinned at Takumi and Ami. "So how long did it take for you two to find Kyoko?"

Takumi faintly chuckled. "You know how it is. We don't find her, she always finds us."

"Well, I'm glad you're back to working with her." Palmon smiled. "She may not be Alphamon, the Kyoko we remember, but she's still Kyoko Kuremi, and you'll do great things alongside her."

"Thanks partner." Ami smiled. "To be honest though, it hasn't been the same without you guys."

"So now that you're up to speed with how things are here, tell us what's going on in the Digital World." Arata said.

"Right…" BlackAgumon folded his arms. "Man, where do we start?"

"From the same place they did." Hawkmon replied. "When we parted ways." She turned to the humans. "Much like what happened with the human world, the Digital World was reset to a state where the Eaters never appeared. Save for us, and the Royal Knights, humans and the incident all together were forgotten, and life in the Digital World returned to normal. But then out of the blue, Digimon started remembering what happened one by one."

"Really? What caused that?" Ami asked.

"We don't know." Dorumon replied. "But that's when everything went to hell. As Hawkmon said the word was reverted to a state where the incident never happened. That means all Digimon who were defeated before, returned."

"All of them?" Arata asked.

Yuuko's blood went cold. "Wait…does that include…?"

Guilmon sighed. "I'm afraid so Yuuko. Crusadermon has returned."

"What?!" the humans gasped.

"And not just her." Gabumon said. "Dynasmon, Craniumon and most notably Leopardmon. All of them also remember what happened in your world."

"Does that mean they all still begrudge humans?" Takumi asked.

"Believe it or not, it's gotten even worse than before." Terriermon said. "Leopardmon went bonkers and when everyone started remembering how the Eaters terrorized our home, he somehow pinned the blame for you guys appearing in the Digital World King Drasil and Alphamon."

"King Drasil?" Ami asked. "But how?"

"He somehow got his hands on data regarding the Mother Eater's merging with him and started claiming that King Drasil and the Mother Eater were always one and the same." Palmon replied.

"What?! That's ridiculous!" Nokia glared. "We all saw that happened; the Mother Eater was infecting him!"

"We tried to explain that." Agumon said. "But unlike Leopardmon we had no proof. And so, he started a rebellion alongside his allied Royal Knights. Gallantmon and the others stood with us to try to stop him, but as more Digimon remembered the horrors of the Eaters, they sided with him. And then…things went from bad to worse."

"What do you mean?" Ami asked.

"We still don't know how he did it…but Leopardmon overthrew King Drasil."

"He did what?! No way!" Arata gapped. "Leopardmon was small fry compared to him! Even if he teamed up with the rest of the rouge knights, there's no way he could have beaten him!"

"We don't get it either. But with King Drasil shut down he took command in his place calling his regime the "Next Order"." Salamon said. "Day by day, Digimon are either forced to submit, to his sadistic rule, or face termination."

"That's awful…" Nokia murmured.

"Wait, what happened to Alphamon?" Takumi asked. "Wasn't she King Drasil's most trusted knight said to keep the others from running amok?"

"That's the other problem." Terriermon said. "Takumi, Ami, when we helped her restore your mental data, remember how she said she was looking into what will become of the Eaters original form?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, some time before Digimon started remembering the incident and Leopardmon went nuts, she said she was going somewhere to look into the mater…but she never returned."

Takumi and Ami did a take as cold sweat ran down their faces. "What?" Ami shuddered. "That can't be!"

"I'm afraid it's true." Palmon looked down. "No one knows what happened to her. But she's nowhere to be found in the Digital World."

Takumi clenched his fist. "Alphamon…"

"Meanwhile our resistance is facing stronger and stronger opposition every day. Our options became fewer and fewer." Gabumon said. "Then, we remembered what Alphamon once said about an app in the human world connected to Digimon. See, using the Digital Monster app to return to all of you was her idea, but we needed to do more research to guarantee our safe arrival. So, we hastened the progress where Alphamon left off and found a way for us to use it to come to you. And…here we are."

"I can't believe things got so dire over there." Yuugo said.

"I'm so sorry you guys had to put up with that all on your own." Nokia said solemnly. "It must have been so hard…"

"That's why we came here." Keramon said. "Working with you guys we were able to take on any threat that came our way. Even King Drasil himself! You're our best shot at winning this war!"

"I know this is a lot to ask of you." Guilmon said before bowing his head. "But you are our only hope! Please! Lend us your strength and help us save the Digital World once more!"

The humans looked at their pleading Digimon. Takumi was the first to smile and crouch down to pet Terriermon. "Come on you guys, my strength is yours." He smiled looking at his three Digimon. "It always has been."

Ami nodded with a grin. "That's right! You're our partners! And partners stand up for each other!"

"I'm in too!" Nokia nodded. "I'm not letting Digimon suffer! As leader of the Rebels, I'll do whatever it takes to protect them!"

"Count me in too." Arata said. "We owe you guys after all."

"I'm going as well." Yuuko said glaring with determination. "Crusadermon has to be stopped!"

Yuugo nodded. "And something tells me once they're done conquering the Digital World our world is next. They still begrudge humans after all. The six of us especially."

"I guess it's a unanimous decision then." Arata said.

"Thanks guys!" Palmon cheered. "With you backing us I can finally see a ray of hope!"

"I can't wait to see the Digital World again!" Nokia cheered.

"We're not going to be there on vacation you know." Ami squinted. "It sounds like it's hell over there."

"I know, but it feels like forever! Aren't you guys even a little excited?"

"I'm all for seeing familiar faces even if they don't remember us." Takumi admitted. "But above all I want to help the Digital World. I want to do it some good after all the evil I spread through it."

"Takumi…" BlackAgumon murmured. "You're still bent up over that? Get over it already! You didn't know! There's no way you could have!"

"Like Alphamon said you guys were just kids!" Dorumon added.

"That's no excuse. Not to me at any rate." Takumi replied. "But regardless of whether or not doing this will let me atone, I still want to help. I can't step back and ignore the suffering of others."

"Same here." Ami smiled. "What kind of Cyber Sleuth would I be it we sit back and do nothing when somebody is in trouble? And I want to find out what happened to Alphamon. We owe her a great deal."

Salamon grinned. "That's the Ami and Takumi I remember."

"Just one problem." Arata said. "How exactly are we getting there? Something tells me we can't follow you all through the app."

"Ha, ha!" Keramon laughed. "You think we don't have this all planned out? You see, a long-time friend of ours who you guys might remember had been working with Alhpamon on this plan to get to your world for a while now!"

"A long-time friend?" Takumi asked. "Who?"

Terriemron's ears rose up. "Wait…Did anyone else hear that?"

"Sorry pal not all of us have ears bigger than the rest of our bodies." Palmon said.

Then they heard screaming. "What about that, did anyone else hear that one?!"

"I think we all did." Yuugo replied.

"It came from up ahead!" Takumi said. "Come on!" He ran off with Ami following him.

"Takumi, wait!" Nokia yelled. "Ugh, those two never change." The others hurried after them. As they came by a bunch of hackers and other EDEN avatars pushed through them running like their lives depended on it.

"What's going on here?" Yuuko asked.

Takumi and Ami stopped and looked at the scene in front of them in shock. "Oh my god…" the girl muttered.

First, they saw a Tyrannomon. Then a Frigimon. Then a Saberdramon, a Raremon, a Pandamon and many more Digimon rampaging through Kawloon. "What the hell is happening?!" Takumi shouted.

The others caught up. "Those are…all Digimon!" Yuuko shuddered.

"How did they get here?!" Arata asked. "Did they follow you guys?!"

"That's impossible!" Hawkmon said. "Champions would never be able to fit through that crack! We had to revert to Rookie form to fit in!"

Takumi gasped as he heard a scream. A Snimon hissed at a hacker with a cap on as he was backed into a corner on his rear. "G-get away from me you monster!"

The Digimon roared and held his scythe arms towards his prey. "Get away from him!" Takumi ran in between then and faced the Digimon with his. Once the Snimon's attention was on him he turned to the hacker. "Run!"

"Th-thank you!" The boy sprung to his feet and ran away screaming.

"Let's go!" Takumi shouted. "Terriermon, attack!"

"Right! Terrier Tornado!" Terriermon spun in place repeatedly forming a cyclone that flew into Snimon, but he slashed through it.

"BlackAgumon!"

"Spitfire Blast!" Takumi's next Digimon breathed fire at the Digimon but its other scythe blocked the flames.

Takumi saw his opening. "Dorumon, go for the head!"

"Metal Cannon!" Dorumon spat a metal cannonball into Snimon's head toppling it over.

"NOW!"

"Wolkenapalm!" BlackAgumon and Dorumon ran up and jabbed Snimon with fiery palms.

"Terrier Tornado!" Terriemron sent one more blast of wind and the enemy was blown into blue pixels.

"Nice work everyone!" Takumi grinned.

Yuuko smiled as she and the other approached. "You still got it."

Takumi rubbed the back of his head. "Ha, ha. Thanks to you, Yuuko."

"Me?"

"Yeah, need I remind you who it was who taught me and Ami how to fight with Digimon?"

Ami nudged Yuuko with a grin. "Yeah, Mrs. "Wrath of EDEN"."

Yuuko blushed a bit. "Can we please not bring that up?"

"I think you got Zaxon's mighty leader a bit flustered there you two!" Nokia grinned.

Yuuko glared. "We're not done here, stay focused!"

More Digimon took notice of Takumi's battle and approached the teens. A Tyranomon, a Saberdramon, a Frigimon, a Fugamon and a Meramon among other Champion Level Digimon all approached. "This doesn't look good…" Ami muttered. "Not only are there a lot of these guys but they all out level our Digimon!"

"Ugh, if only we didn't have to de-digivolve just to get through that gap!" Guilmon grumbled.

"Then Digivolve back!" Nokia said.

"I don't think it's that simple." Arata squinted at her. "In case you forgotten it kinda took time and effort to get them to digivolve."

"Hold on…" Yuuko said. "In the app, when Digimon reach certain requirements they can be Digivolved at will…and our Digimon all merged with the ones in our apps…" She looked at her Digivice.

Takumi put on his goggles. "You're right…It seems like kind of a long shot." He quickly opened the app. "But it's better than waiting to get squashed!" He went to the menu and pressed the Digivolution button. Though his Digimon exited the app they were all still listed in his menu. He checked his Digimon and it showed silhouettes of their champion forms with OK over each of them. "Yes!"

The enemy Digimon slowly approached. "Whatever you guys are doing, do it fast!" Gabumon panicked.

"Okay!" Ami said. "Here goes!"

Takumi, Ami, Nokia, Arata and Yuuko inputted commands for their Digimon to Digivolve and pressed "Confirm" just as they would if Digivolving them in the app. The screens glowed and light shined from their Digivices. "Whoa…" Yuugo watched them in awe. Takumi and Ami noticed the black glove on Takumi's right hand and the one on Ami's left started glowing. They looked at the yellow glow before holding their gloved hands towards their Digimon. As Nokia, Arata and Yuuko held their Digivices up they also glowed.

Takumi's Digimon started glowing. "Terriermon Digivolve to…" Terriermon started to morph. His body grew bigger. Metal parts appeared on his hands forming Gatling Arms. Blue jeans formed on his legs with a brown belt and a bandolier swirled around him before tightening around his shoulder. His colors changed with a red triangle on his forehead. "Gargomon!"

"BlackAgumon Digivolve to…" BlackAgumon's body started to grow. His tail extended massively, and a shell formed over his head that grew horns at the sides and front. His eyes became red as blue striped formed on his body. "BlackGreymon!"

"Dorumon Digivolve to…" Dorumon grew in size as his claws turned red and his purple fur became black with a darker shade of purple. He sprouted wings and flapped them. "Dorugamon!"

Next up was Ami's Digimon. "Palmon Digivolve to…" Palmon's body changed shape. Her flower turned into spikey orange hair, and she became a tall round cactus shape with legs and arms. Red boxing gloves appeared on her hands as she grew black eyes and a mouth and needles formed around her body. "Togemon!"

"Salamon Digivolve to…" Salamon got on her hind feet as she changed shape. Her tail became thin and grew with a Holy Ring appearing on the end. Her fur became white and yellow gloves with red stripes and black claws came on her front paws while taking the form of a cat. "Gatomon!"

"Hawkmon digivolve to…" Hawkmon's wings grew, and the tips grew white and red feathers. Her yellow feet became grey talons, and she grew horns on her head and brown fur around her neck as her body became bigger. "Aquilamon!"

Next up were Nokia's Digimon. "Agumon Digivolve to…" Agumon's body grew just like BlackAgumon sporting a larger form, a longer tail, blue stripes and red ayes complete with a brown horned shell on the head. "Greymon!"

"Gabumon Digivolve to…" Gabumon got on all fours. His body grew along with his fangs and claws. His horn vanished as his eyes became gold and his tail became long and thin. "Garurumon!"

"Keramon Digivolve to…" Arata's Digimon changed form drastically. He floated off the ground and became somewhat diamond shaped. The purple body grew a red horn and six tentacles with gold spikes. His eyes became red and yellow. "Chrysalimon!"

"Guilmon Digivolve to…" Finally, Yuuko's Digimon changed. His body grew bigger and went from red to orange with blue stripes. A brown shell with horns appeared. He looked like Greymon only taller and sleeker. "GeoGreymon!"

Now Campion Level, the ten Digimon roared, and their opponents backed away. "It worked!" Takumi cheered.

The ten Partner Digimon stepped forward. "Okay…" Ami said as she and her brother lifted their goggles up. "Let's do this!"

"Just like old times." Arata grinned.

"Brother, stay behind us." Yuuko said.

"Uh, right." Yuugo muttered a tad ashamed and embarrassed that his sister and their friends were shielding him as he watched them save the day.

"Alright, let's go!" Nokia yelled.

"Ripping Net!" Gargomon threw electricity from his hands that formed electric bindings around Fugamon pinning its arms down. He then ran up to it. "Dumdum Uppercut! He fired green pellets from his Gatling Arm and rammed it into Fugamon's chin defeating it.

As Gargomon landed he grappled with the Tyranomon who rammed its skull at him into BlackGreymon charged into it from the side knocking him over. "Mega Burst!" He spewed a burst of flame at it finishing it off.

Saberdramon swooped towards the kids with Black Saber, but Dorugamon and Aquilamon intercepted it. "Power Metal!" Dorugamon knocked it out of the sky.

While it was on the ground Aquilamon swooped in with her horns glowing red. "Glide Horn!" She stabbed into it destroying it in one solid hit.

"Sub-Zero Ice Punch!" Frigimon threw a punch that sent a cold wave at them.

"Fox Fire!" Garurumon sent a blue flame that intercepted the attack and pushed Frigimon back.

"Mega Flame!" Greymon shot a blaze the Frigimon destroying it.

Meramon jumped to throw a punch at Gargomon, but Chrysalimon wrapped his tendrils around it and slammed it to the ground. "Data Crusher!" He stabbed it with his spikes finishing it off.

Togamon dodged a Pandamon's Animal Nail and then punched it in the face. "Crescent Leaf!" She uppercutted it into the air and as it came down, she shot needled into it. "Needle Spray!" After taking multiple spikes Pandamon was defeated.

"Sludge!" Raremon Spewed gunk at Gatomon, but she jumped over it and dove at him.

"Lightning Paw!" She scratched it with her claws making it winch before she dashed through it again with both paws out destroying it.

One by one they dispatched more Digimon. Gargomon fired green energy pellets at a Nanimon, a Kuwagamon, and a Woodmon, gunning them down. Aquilamon flew over him and rammed into a Piddomon, knocking it back and Gatomon jumped off her back and finished it off with one punch. Greymon, BlackGreymon and GeoGreymon all rammed into a Veedramon, a Devimon, and a Clockmon over. Togamon punched a Coelamon. Chrysalimon spun in place slamming his tendrils into a green and blue Coredramon tripping them over. "Destruction Cannon!" He fired at the blue one finishing it off. Dorugamon stomped on the green one to defeat it. Garurumon pounced onto Waspmon knocking it down, and Gargomon jumped up at it as Garurumon moved out of the way for him to punch its lights out.

The group looked around but saw no more enemies. "I think we're clear." Arata said.

Takumi looked at his Digimon. "This is amazing! Not only did we not need the DigiLab, but you guys are packing more power than ever!"

"Yeah!" Gargomon grinned. "I feel stronger than I ever had before as a Champion Level Digimon!"

"Come to think of it, when I got into the Digivice I felt this sudden burst of power." Dorugamon added.

"Same here." GeoGreymon added.

"It must be because we merged with our fragments in your apps." Gatomon said. "You raised them well and made them stronger, so now we inherited the strength you gave them."

"Awesome!" Nokia cheered. "I knew all the love I put in raising them would be worth it!"

"Now's not the time for celebrating!" Arata said. "We're not out of the woods yet!"

"He's right." Takumi nodded. "Why are Digimon here? And what's making them so hostile?"

"One thing at a time. Where else is this happening?" Yuugo asked.

"I can sense more Digimon on the upper levels of Kawloon." Chrysalimon replied.

"Then we should split up and cover more ground." Takumi said looking at the others. They all nodded.

"Hold on a second…" Gatomon tilted her head up. "I'm sensing something powerful up there."

"Could it be the one responsible for this?" Greymon asked.

Yuuko gasped. "Is it Crusadermon?!"

"No, Greymon and I would be able to tell if it was a Royal Knight even as we are now." Garurumon said.

"Huh…" Gargomon looked up. "I feel it too…why does it feel so familiar?"

"Really? I was thinking the same thing." Togamon said before looking at Nokia's Digimon. "You two sure it isn't a Royal Knight?"

"Positive." Greymon replied.

"Well, whoever or whatever it is it's super powerful and is at Kawloon level 5 right now!" Gatomon said. "I don't think we can beat it in Champion form even if we team up."

"Then let's focus on the Digimon on the other levels for now." Yuuko suggested. "Nobody goes to level 5 anyway, so we shouldn't have to worry about them hurting anyone up there. Then we can figure out what to do with them."

"Good idea Yuuko!" Nokia nodded. "Bonding with our Digimon might help them Digivolve again!

"Uh, Nokia, we just Digivolved our Digimon into Champion Level." Takumi said. "I don't think we're going to get them to Ultimate for a while now."

"Back when I first Digivolved these two, the cute Digimon that helped us out told me that working hard isn't the only way to get stronger! Just believe in your Digimon!"

"She has a point." Ami said. "Think about the times she, Yuuko and Arata Digivolved their Digimon. They didn't need the DigiLab or anything like that. Just their shear strength of will."

"Exactly! Trust me, if we work our way up, we might get strong enough to take on…whoever it is if we work together! Okay! I'm off to Kawloon level 2! You guys can take the other floors!"

"Wait, by yourself?" Yuugo asked. "Are you sure?"

"Are you forgetting that I'm the leader of the Rebels who united all hackers against Leopardmon? I got this, trust me!"

"Just let her do what she wants." Arata said. "We all know reasoning with her is a waste of time."

"Can't argue with that." Yuuko sighed. "Okay, I'm going to level 3."

"I'll go with you." Takumi said.

Yuuko smiled. "Thank you, Takumi."

"Then Arata and I will go for level 4." Ami said.

Arata grinned. "Sounds like a plan."

Nokia shot her friends a teasing grin. "Oh, ho! Takumi and Yuuko going out all alone somewhere? Same with Ami and Arata? If you guys wanted to go on a date, just go ahead and say so!"

All four of them felt their cheeks burn red. The Aiba twins shyly looked away. "A d- Will you just be quiet?!" Arata growled.

"I-It's not like that Nokia!" Yuuko scolded. "We have an important job to do here and…!"

After fighting off the urge to burst into laughter Yuugo spoke up. "Okay, while I hate to ruin your fun Nokia-

"Well then don't. I see that grin, you think it's adorable too, don't lie!"

Yuuko looked at her brother smiling at them in shock. "Y-Yuugo, it's nothing like that!"

Yuugo rolled his eyes. "Sure, sure. Anyway, we should really try to stay focused. While you guys are fighting Digimon what can I do to help?"

"You can tell your father what's going on and have him make sure everyone stays away from Kawloon." Ami replied.

Yuugo squinted at her. "Right, and what I'm I supposed to say exactly? "Hey dad, do you mind putting up an official notice to keep everyone away from Kawloon so the Digital Monster app doesn't get them"? I can hear him laughing already."

Arata smiled. "You'll think of something."

"Brother please, we can't let there be any victims." Yuuko said.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do." Yuugo replied. "If the rest of you are going to fight, be extra careful. Who know what else is in here?"

"We'll be alright." Nokia said.

"Okay. Good luck." Yuugo said before running towards the exit.

"Okay, let's get going!" Nokia said.

They nodded and Nokia, Arata and Yuuko ran ahead. Before Ami followed something grabbed her wrist and she looked behind her. "What's wrong bro?"

"Ami, just…be careful." Takumi said. "I don't know what I'd do if I let something happen to you…"

Ami sighed. "Takumi, I know what dad said to you, but you also need to look after yourself. Shouldering too much is going to crush you if you keep this up. Besides, I can take care of myself."

"Ami…" Takumi gave his sister a serious look.

Ami grabbed his shoulders. "I'll be fine. I promise. Now let's get going." Takumi took a deep breath and nodded before they ran after their friends.

"Crimson Curse!" A Golemon spewed red gas that stunned a Ogremon and a Silver Kyubimon.

"Electro Shocker!" A Kabuterimon blasted the Ogremon with a burst of electricity.

"Ice Blast!" A Seadramon froze the Silver Kyubimon before it fell over and shattered.

Down in Under Kawloon a teenager with black hair wearing a blue coat watched as his Digimon defeated the wild ones in front of him. "T-this is amazing! You're even more powerful then when you were Champions before!"

"Heh, heh! Thanks to you raising us in that app dude!" Golemon grinned.

"We're not done yet." Kabuterimon said. "We should sweep all of Under Kawloon. Even if there's nobody else down here if these rampaging Digimon escape to the more populated EDEN Forms…"

Seadramon nodded. "You're right. We better make sure there aren't any stragglers."

"What about the other side of Kawloon?" the teen asked.

"Those other guys that went before us are probably taking care of that with the six chosen ones." Golemon replied.

"Huh?"

"We'll explain later." Kabutermon promised. "We should get going."

"Right."

On Kawloon level 2, Nokia's Digimon blasted a Sangloupmon and a Vegimon with fire from their mouths. "Man, they just keep coming!" Garurumon said.

"Hang on you two!" Nokia cheered. "We should be reaching the end! …Huh?"

A SkullGreymon, a Tankmon and a Monochromon all appeared in front of her. "Tch. One of those is an Ultimate." Greymon muttered. "This ain't good."

"Maybe so, but we gotta protect Nokia!" Garurumon said.

"Right! Nova Blast!"

"Fox Fire!" The two shot flames at the SkullGreymon, and it slightly backed up.

"That's it, you're doing it!" Nokia rooted. "Wait, look out!" The Tankmon shot Greymon with Hyper Cannon and the Monochromon fired a Volcanic Strike at Garurumon. The two were forced to stop what they were doing and stumbled back. Free from the fire attacks SkullGreymon set his sights back on the two and got on all fours before firing the Oblivion Bird. The orange missile on its back soared and landed between Nokia's Digimon before exploding. Greymon and Garurumon were caught in the blast and flung back before landing at Nokia's left and right. "Greymon! Garurumon!"

The three enemy Digimon slowly got closer to Nokia and her Digimon struggled to stand back up. "N-Nokia…run!" Greymon said.

The girl shuddered as her horrifying enemies came closer. But after a quick panic she stood strong with determination. "No. I'm not going anywhere! I'm done cowering in fear and hiding behind you two and Takumi and Ami. I can fight too! And I'm going to stay by your side no matter what! I love you guys! And now that I have you two back, I'm not letting anything part us again!" Nokia's Digivice started shinning.

Greymon looked at it. "Oh…!"

"This power…just like back then!" Garurumon added.

Nokia looked at her Digivice and opened the Digital Monster app. The option to digivolved both Greymon and Garurumon was now available. "Okay…!" She pressed some buttons and held it up. Light erupted from her Digimon. "Let's do this thing!"

Greymon roared as he grew bigger. "Greymon Digivolve to…" He extended his left arm, and it became coated with metal along with his chest. The brown shell on his head slowly turned to metal as well as red hair game out the back and his eyes changed color. Finally blue wings sprouted from his back. "Metal Greymon!"

"Garurumon Digivolve to…" Garurumon howled as he got on his hind legs. A belt wrapped around his shoulder as his left arm produced a shoulder pad, a long blue glove and brass knuckles. Blue pants appeared as his other arm grew leather bands. "WereGarurumon!"

Nokia looked at her Digimon again in shock. But a wide grin then appeared on her face. "I knew it…!"

SkullGreymon, Tankmon, and Monochromon fired their signature attacks again, this time all at once. MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon jumped in front of Nokia and shielded themselves with their arms. The attacks hit but neither of them suffered so much as a scratch. "Nokia…" MetalGreymon said. "If you're that determined to stand with us…" He flew at the Monochromon. "Mach Rush!" He toppled it over. "Meteor Fall!" Next he summoned a giant molten bolder from above that exploded on it.

"Then we'll answer your call!" WereGarurumon ran up to the Tankmon, dodging another Hyper Cannon while doing so by jumping and punching the ground. "Awesome Quake!" The ground under Tankmon shook and he collapsed. "Comet Hammer!" He slammed his heel on its head finishing it off. He then jumped at SkullGreymon. "Wolf Claw!" He swung his arms and a glowing red cross flew into SkullGreymon knocking it back.

"Giga Destroyer!" The hatches on his chest opened up and twin missiles with fangs flew into Skull Greymon before detonating.

"That's the way it's done boys!" Nokia grinned. More Digimon approached. "Oh man, there are more here than on the previous floor! Stay sharp you two!"

"Right!" WereGarurumon jumped on MetalGreymon's head who flung him up to punch a Megadramon. MetalGreymon's metal claw fired into a WarGrowlmon.

Nokia watched them fight. "I'm not a scared little girl anymore! I'm not gonna hold the others back!"

On Kawloon Level 3 Takumi and Yuuko stood back-to-back as many Digimon surrounded them. Gargomon, BlackGreymon, Dorugamon and GeoGreymon stood ready to fight. "It seems there are more Digimon here than we expected. And stronger ones too." Yuuko said.

"Don't worry." Takumi replied. "We can take them." Gargomon charged into a FlyBeemon punching it into a wall and blasted it with green gunfire. He turned to see a Birdramon swoop at him and jumped back as it slammed its talons in the ground. BlackGreymon then skull bashed it from the side. Dorugamon divebombed towards a Gwappamon and spun his tail overhead on him. GeoGreymon wrestled a Flymon to the ground and fired a Mega Burst at it.

A Arukenimon spewed green gas at the Digimon, but they backed away. "Thunder Fall!" Gargomon shot electricity at it making it stumble back. Then BlackGreymon slammed it with Wolkenapalm knocking it to the ground.

"GeoGreymon, finish it off!" Yuuko ordered.

"Right! Mega-GAH!" Yuuko's Digimon was blasted from behind. When he collapsed they saw a MetalMamemon.

"GeoGreymon!"

Gargomon looked up and saw a BigMamemon coming down towards them. "Yikes!" He barley had time to lift his arms up to catch the giant, but could barely hold him up. "Ugh! Uh, a little help?!" he asked with his arms shaking from the pressure.

"Hang on!" BlackGreymon and Dorugamon ran towards them to help but they were blasted by a shot of electricity from a Mummymon's gun.

"Guys, hang in there!" Takumi shouted.

"Spider Thread!" The Arukenimon threw red ribbons from her hands at an unsuspecting Yuuko. She yelped as they weaved around her upper body trapping her arms behind her back.

"T-Takumi!" Yuuko cried out. The Arukenimon started to pull, and she started sliding towards it on her feet.

Takumi gasped and turned around to see Yuuko tied up and being dragged towards the spider. "Yuuko!" He sprinted towards her.

Yuuko saw Mummymon turning to him. "B-behind you!"

"Snake Bandage!" Mummymon sent bandages from his arm that ensnared Takumi by the left arm just when he was about to reach Yuuko.

"Takumi!"

Takumi grunted and tried to reach out to Yuuko with his free hand. But then Arukenimon sent another ribbon that lashed Yuuko's feet together by the ankles. She yelped as she was startled and fell to the floor. "YUUKO!" More bandages flew into Takumi, wrapping his upper body and tying his arms behind his back like Yuuko and he was pulled over to the Mummymon who picked him up in his large hands and started squeezing him.

"Takumi!" Yuuko was picked up by Arukenimon. No matter how much she or Takumi struggled they couldn't escape the grip of the Ultimate Level Digimon. Said grip was now threatening to crush them and the yelled out in pain.

"T-Takumi! Yuuko!" BlackGreymonmon got up and tried to run to them but was knocked back down by MetalMamemon.

Takumi yelped as the grip crushing him squeezed harder. "At this rate…!" He heard a scream and looked up. Arukenimon was squeezing Yuuko even harder. The girl looked ready to cry out of pain. Takumi remembered how powerless when he faced Rei Kishibe-or rather Crusadermon, having Yuuko strapped to a chair before she effortlessly ejected him and Ami. Even more so when they say Yuuko get assimilated by an Eater and turned into a monster. And before that…Yuugo being devoured in the Digital World. When they were just children. And then even before that…there was a memory…of him and his sister and mother…shedding tears in front of a man with red hair on a hospital bed. "NO!" A bright light burst from his goggles blinding Mummymon and making him drop him. "Rrrrr…RAAAAGH!" The light shined all around him and the bandages binding his arms snapped.

Yuuko looked at the glow in awe. "Takumi…"

The Cyber Sleuth put on his goggles. "I don't ever want to feel that powerless ever again. I won't watch people I care about suffer. Not again." He looked at his app and saw silhouettes of his Digimon in Ultimate form in the Digivolution menu. "I have to become stronger…I must protect those who mean everything to me! Gargomon! BlackGreymon! Dorugamon! Please…please give me the power to do that!"

Takumi's Digimon started to glow. "RAAAAAAAAH!" Gargomon lifted and threw BigMamemon onto MetalMamemon. "Ha! I think you got that backwards buddy!"

Dorugamon stood up. "It is you who gives us strength. Strength formed by your determination to protect those who you hold dear."

BlackGreymon stood up as he glowed. "Heh. I gotta say, this power formed by determination of yours feels pretty good. If you're willing to give it to us and in turn, only ask that we use it to protect those people…I'd call that a fair trade."

Takumi smiled. "Thank you." He made inputs in the app. "Alright, let's do this. Time to push past the Champion Level!" After making his inputs, Takumi's glove glowed yellow as he held his hand up. Light matching in color surged around his Digimon.

"Gargomon Digivolve to…" Grgomon turned into a pure light before turning into a green piece of armor. White legs came out wearing green boots. Then a white body rose from the top with an upper armor piece. Out of that came two arms each wielding silver and green arm cannons with red points. From the back was a black missile launcher, and finally a head came out with a helmet including giant green ears with red tips and a horn. The Digimon opened his blue eyes and spun around before posing. "Rapidmon!"

"BlackGreymon Digivolve to…" BlackGreymon grew in size and held his left hand forward. It transformed into a giant metal claw. Then metal plates formed on his chest. He grew red hair as metal coated the shell on his head. Finally, he sprouted blue wings and roared. "BlackMetalGreymon!"

"Dorugamon Digivolve to…" Dorugamon got on all fours as his body grew longer. His purple and black fur became red with black stripes and his wings split before becoming silver with yellow spikes. His tail grew and formed a yellow spike at the end. Silver spikes grew on his neck and a sharp blade formed a horn on his head. He raised his head and roared. "DoruGreymon!"

Takumi's Digimon stood ready to fight. Yuuko was in awe. "His Digimon just Digivolved into Champion form and he was able to Digivolve them again so quickly?"

BlackMetalGreymon pointed his metal claw towards Takumi. "Get down." Just as Mummymon sent another Snake Bandage to recapture Takumi, the boy ducked, and the claw flew off his Digimon's arm and knocked Mummymon down.

Rapidmon rose up. Mummymon shot at him with his gun, but no matter how many times he fired Rapidmon effortlessly dodged. "Golden Triangle!" Spread his arms and a green triangle light formed and fired as a beam that disintegrated Mummymon.

BigMamemon punched BlackMetalGreymon. "Revenge Flame!" BlackMetalGreymon burst with blue fire blowing him back. He then charged at him with his claw. "Wolkenapalm!" He blew him away with one solid strike.

Arukenimon panicked at the sudden turn of tables and lifted Yuuko. "T-Takumi, help!" Yuuko yelled as the Digimon ran up the wall carrying her.

Takumi turned in her direction. "Rapidmon, stop that thing! Be careful, we can't hurt Yuuko!"

"Right!" Rapidmon flew after them. "Get ready to catch Takumi!"

"Wait, what?"

When the spider Digimon got over the wall and was about to make a getaway Rapidmon flew in front of her. She spewed poison gas, but Rapidmon didn't even react to it. He then punched her in the face making her wince, then shot her arm with his arm cannon making her drop Yuuko. The girl screamed as she fell. "Now! Catch!"

Takumi sprang into action and ran under Yuuko before he caught her in his arms. "Yuuko are you alright?"

The girl's face was redder than the ribbons that bound her. "U-um…!"

Takumi put her down. "Hang on." He started untying the ribbons around her arms and torso.

Arukenimon jumped at them and shot another Spider Thread, but BlackMetalGreymon burned them with fire and Rapidmon kicked Arukenimon. Takumi finished untying Yuuko's arms and ankles. He took her hand and gently pulled her off the floor. "Thank you."

"Anytime." Takumi smiled peppily.

MetalMamemon fired at DoruGreymon but he flew away. "Awesome Quake!" He slammed the ground making it shake. MetalMamemon fell over and DoruGreymon took to the sky again. "Metal Meteor!" He fired a giant metal ball from his mouth, that burned like a meteor and obliterated the opponent.

Yuuko watched Takumi's Digimon continue to battle and then looked at GeoGreymon who struggled to stand. "Takumi is incredible. No matter what life throws at him, he stands tall with his head held high. He's always helping others including me, with no fear or hesitation…" Yuuko looked at her hand and clutched it. "I can't be holding him back. I need to become stronger! I'm not letting him hurt himself by shouldering other people's burdens all by himself. It's time I proved I can carry my own weight." Her Digivice started glowing.

Takumi glanced over his shoulder at her. "Yuuko?"

Yuuko opened the app and pulled up the Digivolution menu. "GeoGreymon…My strength is yours, so please, stand up! We can do this together!" She pressed the button and held up her Digivice. GeoGreymon roared as he got up and surged with light.

"GeoGreymon Digivolve to…" GeoGreymon's head shell turned metal along with the tip of his tail and his chest formed red armor with a blue core and twin wings. His left arm became a cannon with a spinning revolver that he stopped with his hand. "RizeGreymon!"

Takumi looked at the Ultimate Digimon then smiled at his friend. "You're amazing Yuuko."

"This is thanks to all of you Takumi. You and the others reminded me how I should live as my true self."

A Megadramon swooped towards the team and fired a Genocide Attack at them, but DoruGreymon flew. "Attack Break!" His howl weakened the enemy as he blocked the attack with his wings.

RizeGreymon then got his clear shot. "Trident Revolver!" He shot three blasts at the Digimon destroying it. The Arikenimon shot a Spider Thread at RizeGreymon, but he dodged with remarkable speed.

Then Rapidmon, BlackMetalGreymon and DoruGreymon flew in front of Arukenimon and the remaining targets. "Meteor Fall!" They dropped a giant red rock that exploded and eliminated the last enemies.

"That's the end of that." Rapidmon said.

"Great work guys." Takumi said. "Although…"

Yuuko sighed. "Um, RizeGreymon?"

"Yeah?" Her Digimon turned around to look at her. "Uhh…"

Takumi's Digimon looked at what had RizeGreymon in awkward silence. Takumi and Yuuko were standing facing each other and pressed tightly together due to red ribbons packing them tightly from their shoulders to their waistlines. Despite being tied up, they didn't attempt to free their arms or otherwise make the slightest movement, not wanting to make this embarrassing situation feel even more awkward. Their heads were turned away from each other but for some reason that couldn't stop looking at each other's burning red faces. "You all did a great job." Yuuko said. "But next time you dodge an attack try to keep your surroundings in mind. …Thought I suppose Takumi and I should just be grateful that Digimon didn't use anything…harmful."

The four Digimon stared at them then looked at each other. Finally, DoruGreymon spoke up. "So, do you two want us to untie you or would you rather we left you alone for a few minutes?" The others started snickering.

Yuuko tried to back her head away from Takumi who glared at his Digimon. "Not funny DoruGreymon!"

"I disagree." Rapidmon laughed. "I guess that's one way to tie the knot."

"Will you jerks just get us out of this so we can go meet up with the others already?!" Takumi shouted as he and Yuuko blushed even deeper while the three Greymon laughed harder at Rapidmon's comment.

On the fourth floor Ami and Arata were backed against a wall-literally. Gatomon and Aquilamon were already on the ground. Togamon and Chrysalimon were barley standing against a mass of Digimon including a Blossomon, a LadyDevimon, a JewelBeemon and a Cerberumon. "This is so not good." Arata muttered. "I didn't think they'd be this strong."

"It's not over yet!" Ami bravely declared. "Togamon!"

"Right!" Ami's first Digimon ran up to JewelBeemon and threw a punch that was effortlessly blocked. She then grabbed his spear and swung before throwing him into Cerberumon.

"Darkness Wave!" LadyDevimon sent a horde of bats at Togamon who braced herself but screamed as she was attacked.

"Togamon!" Ami shouted.

Cerberumon then charged into Togamon knocking her down. Chrysalimon charged at him. "Data Crusher!" He pushed it back slightly then flew up when LadyDevimon tried to scratch him.

"Look out above you!" Arata yelled.

"Spike Buster!" JewelBeemon slammed his spear into Chrysalimon, then hit him like a golf ball. He crashed into Togamon as she tried to get up and they collapsed near Ami's other Digimon.

Arata cringed. "Yup. We're screwed."

"I don't believe that." Ami said stepping forward. "I believe in those who support me. I believe there's always a way to move forward even if you don't see it. And I believe in myself." She held a clenched hand at her chest. "I'm going to get us through this. And together we'll go to save the Digital World and learn the truth! I'm not letting anything stop us!" Her goggles started glowing. "Huh?" She put them on and looked at her Digimon through her app. She looked at it and smiled. "Togamon! Gatomon! Aquilamon! Please stand up! I'm here with you! As long as we're together we can get through anything!"

"Ami…" Togamon got up. "You're right."

Gatomon stood up. "We have a mission to fulfill. We can't fall here!"

Aquilamon spread her wings. "We can do this! Together!"

"Yeah!" Ami made inputs in her menu. Her left gloved hand glowed and she raised it as her Digimon burst with light.

"Togamon Digivolve to…" Gold lights came out of Togamon's eyes and mouth. The spikey yellow hair expanded, and she turned into a pink flower bulb that bloomed, and out of it came a girl Digimon wearing a pink flower dress, green boots with yellow flowers and her forearms were glad in green and had yellow flower petals around her wrists. She had green leaf like fairy wings, red fingernails, green vines that served as hair and a pink flower on her head. She jumped out of the flower and flew into the air before landing on the floor with her legs slightly crossed. "Lillymon!"

"Gatomon Digivolve to…" Gatomon's tail ring came off and expanded circling her body as it glowed white. In a burst of wind and feathers she turned into a woman with long hair who's body glowed pink with a pink sash around her arms. A glove with angel wings formed on her left hand. Then her hair turned blond as a mask with wings formed on her upper face. A gold anklet appeared on her left ankle and a white boot formed on her right foot. As a golden breastplate that looked like wings spread a white bodysuit across her body leaving her midriff, back and right leg bare, her skin took solid form. Two leather straps wrapped around her right thigh and two more wrapped around her midsection. Finally, she sprouted eight angel wings sending feathers everywhere and twirled. "Angewomon!"

"Aquilamon Digivolve to…" Aquilamon's legs turned purple with red talons before a third one appeared. Light spread across her body turning it and purple. Her black wings had purple points, and golden edges with two trident shaped weapons. White fur formed around her neck, and she grew a golden mask with a red ribbon. "Crowmon!"

Ami put her goggles back in her ponytail as her Digimon floated near her. "Alright, let's try this again!"

Blossomon thrusted its flowers with faces and the tried to bite at Lillymon and Angewmon, but the two dodged elegantly with poses that would make one think they were dancing rather than evading, but no matter how many times the flowers bit at the two, they dodged every chomp with their dance. Then they leapt high above Blossomon. Angewomon charged downward ramming her foot into its face. Lillymon spun forward repeatedly as she descended and slammed her heel on its head. They then flew back as it was dazed. Lillymon glowed green. "Gaia Element!"

"Holy Light!" Angewomon glowed gold. Green and golden light knocked Blossomon back.

Then Cerberumon tackled Angewomon to the ground pinning her arms to the floor with its front legs. "Hellfire!" Its mouth glowed as it prepared to breath fire on her.

"Crowmon, I think that pooch needs a time out!" Ami said.

"On it!" Crowmon grabbed it by the back and lifted it off of Angewomon. Crowmon carried it high up and dropped it. "Gale Storm!" A cyclone hit it hard.

Angewomon lifted her legs up then sprung back to her feet. She then dashed over to the LadyDevimon and slapped her. The gothic lady then spun and kicked her in the torso knocking her back. "Angewomon, I'll back you up!" Lillymon flew at LadyDevimon from behind to throw a punch, but the gothic foe sidestepped and grabbed Lillymon by her hair. "Ah!"

"Lillymon!" Angewomon rushed in, but LadyDevimon's larger hand punched her in the stomach making her hunch over and gasp. The creepy spirit on LadyDevimon's shoulder then grabbed the angel by her blond hair. LadyDevimon laughed and started spinning in place pulling the feminine Digimon's hair and swinging them around. Lillymon and Angewomon screamed in pain with their hands in their hair.

"Crowmon!" Ami yelled.

Crowmon slammed into Lady Devimon from behind and Angewomon and Lillymon's hair were released sending them hurling to the ground. Crowmon lifted LadyDevimon to her feet holding her hands and the ghostly being on her shoulder in her three talons. Lillymon glared at the enemy as she and Angewomon got up. "Oh, you are SO going to regret that! Don't mess with a girl's hair!" Her hands turned into a cannon as the wings on Angewomon's gloves extended and she drew an arrow of light.

"Look out behind you!" Ami yelled. The two of them looked behind them as green vines flew at them and circled around the two pinning their arms to their torsos and lifted them off the ground. Blossomon's tentacles carried the two struggling Digimon over to her. They growled at her and reeled a foot back each to kick, but at the last moment their ankles were intercepted by more vines wrapping around them. Blossomon smugly smirked at them before swarming them both with vines. JewelBeemon then charged at Crowmon with its lance. When she saw it, she had no choice but to release LadyDevimon to fly up. Once free the feminine devil smirked and punched Crowmon.

Despite their struggles, Blossomon soon had Lillymon and Angewomon right where it wanted them. Both were suspended in front of it. Each had vines wrapped around their wrists lifting them above their heads and more around their ankles tying their feet together. Blossomon grinned wickedly as the vines holding their feet pulled down and the ones binding their hands pulled up. The two screamed as the tugging threatened to rip them in half. "Not good!" Arata said.

"Arata!" Ami pushed the boy out of the way as a chain flew at them. It coiled around Ami's wrists and pulled her over to LadyDevimon.

"Ami!" Crowmon flew to aid her but was intercepted by JewelBeemon making her back up. "Ugh…!"

Ami looked up at the smirking Digimon holding the chain tying her hands together who grinned before slamming her foot on the back of Ami's head, pinning it to the ground as she tugged the chain around the girl's wrists. "AAAAAAAAAAH!" The girl was soon on the verge of tears of pain. "A-Arata…" Ami whimpered. "…run…save…yourself…"

Arata was on the ground frozen in panic at the sight. It gave him a flashback of Yuugo pinned under an Eater. Arata clenched his fists and gritted his teeth as he got back on his feet. "GET THE HELL OFF HER!" His Digivice glowed. "What the…?"

All the Digimon stopped what they were doing and looked towards him. Chrysalimon slowly got up. "Wow…I feel a surge of rage and determination from you Sanada. Where'd this come from?"

Arata looked at his Digivice and opened the app. "Just remembered what I promised myself. I'm not the cowardly brat from eight years ago anymore. I'm not leaving anyone behind." He pressed a button and held it up. His Digimon glowed.

"Chrysalimon Digivolve to…" His body turned red and white then extended and turned sideways. His tentacles turned into wire legs with feet. A white head came out with green and yellow eyes and a red horn appeared on his head. Yellow spikes appeared on his feet and body. "Infermon!"

Ami looked at the Digimon in amazement. "Arata…"

Arata glared at the LadyDevimon. "Last chance. Get your damn foot off her. Now." The Digimon snarled as she took her boot off Ami's head. She then grabbed the girl and flew high up. One arm was wrapped around Ami while still holding the chain binding her wrists and another creasing her chin. "Infermon."

"Destruction Cannon!" In a flash he fired a purple blast from his mouth that hit the LadyDevimon in the face who shrieked as she dropped Ami. She yelped as she fell but was taken aback even further when she landed in Arata's arms.

"You, okay?" Arata asked.

Ami smiled nervously with a blush as her heart soared. "Um, yeah, thanks Arata."

"Good. Infermon, let's clean up this mess!"

Infemron turned to Blossomon who still had Lillymon and Angewomon in a hold. "Hell's Grenade!" He fired red blast after blast in Blossomon's face and each shot exploded until the Digimon blew up and Lillymon and Angewomon's limbs were released. They took flight again.

"Thanks for the save big guy!" Lillymon smiled.

"Infermon, we'll take the rest of the stragglers." Arata said.

Cerberumon, LadyDevimon and JewelBeemon regrouped. "Lillymon, Angewomon, Crowmon, let's finish what we started!" Ami shouted.

"Right!" the three said before flying at their opponents.

Angewomon held her hands up. "Shining Laser!" Golden beams rained down, but LadyDevimon evaded and flung her chain at Angewomon and it tied her wrists together. The demon smirked as she pulled. Angewmon kept her feet firmly on the ground as her wrists were pulled in front of her. She smirked before gripping the chain in her hands and pulling back. LadyDevimon slid back slightly. With one more tug, LadyDevimon was flung towards her. Angewomon kneed her in the gut then with the other leg flipped upward kicking her in the face and sending her up. She then swung her chained wrists down and on the other end of the chain LadyDevimon was slammed to the ground. She turned to Lillymon who was humming while twirling around JewelBeemon's lance. "Lillymon!" She held her chained hands up. "Sorry to bother you while you're busy but would you mind cutting me lose?"

Lillymon kicked JewelBeemon back and looked at her. "Sure thing!" she winked before throwing a green spark that flew to the chain and shattered it freeing Angewomon's hands.

"Appreciated." Angewomon took to the air and lined a white arrow with the wings on her glove with one leg pointed down and the other bent. "Celestial Arrow!" The LadyDevimon looked up before she was hit by an arrow of light and destroyed.

Crowmon slammed her talons into Cerberumon pushing it to the ground. The weapons on her wings spun. "Savage Emperor!" She fired two golden beams obliterating it.

Lillymon bent backwards under JewelBeemon's lance than stood on her hands and gripped the weapon by pressing her legs against either side of it. She then flipped and with her legs slammed the lance into the ground sticking it in the ground. As she backed away JewelBeemon tried to pull his weapon free. Lillymon held her hands together and they became a flower with a vulcan. "Flower Cannon!" She fired a green blast obliterating it.

Infermon fired a red laser at a Nanimon finishing it off. "That's the end of that."

"Phew. That was dicey but we pulled trough." Arata grinned. "Good job team."

"Yeah!" Ami smiled. "You guys were awesome! Oh, by the way Arata, not to say I'm not enjoying my current position but, when do you plan on putting me down?"

Arata looked at Ami's smiling face and only then realized she was still in his arms. He didn't even notice sooner that she had her arms around him. "Uh…!" Arata quickly but gently put her back on her feet. "There."

"Aww." Ami giggled at how uncharacteristically flustered he was. "Seriously though Arata, thanks. I owe you one."

"Yeah, don't mention it." Arata sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "Come on, let's head for Level 5 and see if the others are there."

"He's right." Crowmon said. "It's not over yet."

"Exactly, we still have the big fish to deal with. So, let's- He felt arms wrap around him and froze.

Ami went over and gave Arata a big hug. Not too firm as to crush him, but it Arata goosebumps. Ami backed away and smiled with her hands behind her back slightly blushing. "Consider that your reward."

Arata's face burned red. "I…Uh…"

Lillymon grinned slyly at Ami as she walked past her. "You shameless flirt." She and Ami's other Digimon flew after her laughing.

Arata remained frozen until Infermon nudged him. "Come on lover boy, we gotta move!"

"I know, I know!" Arata grumbled as they ran after Ami.

Sorry if you guys were expecting the Digimon to slowly regain their Digivolutions in stages through the course of the story like the anime, but I did that in Cyber Rangers and I saw little point in doing that again here given what the team is up against. But that's not to say the gang won't get anything new as we move along...
