And now we pick up where we left off. Time for Keisuke to show his perspective of the last five chapters.

"I…I don't believe it!" Takumi gasped. "You too?! But wait, how did you know to follow us here?"

Keisuke pressed a button on his visor, and it projected an image of three Digimon. A TyrantKabuterimon, a MetalSeadramon and a PileVolcamon. "Are those also Digimon?" Saruto asked.

"They are!" Yuuko replied.

Omegamon was projected from Nokia's Digivice. The other Digimon in the group joined via projections. "It's you three! How did you get to this world?!"

"Same as you." PileVolcamon said. "We are part of the fifth resistance team in the Digital World."

"There's a fifth?" Diaboromon asked.

"That's right." MetalSeadramon nodded. "Our leader knew about your plan to reach out to the human world for help. So, she sent us to follow you to find the one human she trusted above all else."

"Come to think of it…" Rapidmon Armor said. "When we reached the spot, I thought I heard something behind us, but I thought I just imagined it. I guess that was you three."

Keisuke looked down. "On that day when Digimon suddenly attacked EDEN…I had just finished my current job at Huddie and was leaving the café…"

Just outside a café in Ikebukuro, Keisuke came out having just finished work for the day. "Not much is happening these days. What should I do now?" The visor around his neck made a strange sound. "Hmm?" He put it over his eyes. He noticed his Digital Monster app glowing and opened it. He then noticed his MgaKabuterimon, Seadramon and Golemon glowing. Then they reverted to their Rookie forms with higher stats then normal. "Hey! What just happened?! How come my Digimon just- Then his Digivice notified him that he got a message on his DigiLine. He closed the app to open the message. "What the… What is this?"

It was an anonymous source. The message read: "Keisuke. Go to Under Kawloon. We need your help."

"So, you three also entered Keisuke's Digivice via the Digital Monster app?" Samudramon asked.

"Correct." TyrantKabuterimon said. "We immediately messaged him to go to Under Kawloon."

"I thought it seemed crazy at first." Keisuke admitted. "But I figured, what do I got to lose? So, I logged in to EDEN and…"

In an area known as Under Kawloon Level 1, Keisuke landed and put on his visor. "This is the place. So, who- He took a few steps but stopped when his Visor glowed blue. "What the…? Whoa!" He was blinded and dazed by a bright flash. Next thing he knew he was on the ground with something heavy on his back.

On him was a Tentomon, a Gotsumon and a Betamon. "Wow, this takes me back." the Tentomon said.

"Guess we're in the right place." The Gotsumon said. "So where is he?"

"Um…guys?" Betamon muttered. They all looked down at the person they were standing on.

"Whoops!" They all got off of Keisuke. "Hey, you alright there?" Tentomon asked.

Keisuke groaned and pushed himself up. He looked at the Digimon and gasped. "You're…!"

The three Digimon smiled. "It's him alright!" Gatsumon cheered.

"What's up buddy!" Betamon smiled.

"…Tentomon…? Betamon…" Gatsumon…?" Keisuke walked up to Tentomon and pulled on the yellow antenna on his head.

"Yeowch! Hey, what's that for?!"

"This is…this is real, right?" Keisuke asked.

"You bettchya!" Betamon nodded.

After a brief pause Keisuke smiled. The four cheered as they held hands and hopped around in a circle laughing. "This is amazing!" Keisuke smiled. "I wasn't sure if I'd ever see you all again!"

"Ha, ha! Long time no see, eh?" Gotsumon grinned.

"But how'd you guys get here?"

"Well, see about that Digital Monster app you humans got?" Tentomon asked. "Turns out all the Digimon in it are fragments of data on us Digimon. So, after slipping through a hole in the Digital World we were able to merge with those fragments in your digivice."

"Amazing…"

"Well, it wasn't really our idea." Gotsumon said. "Hudimon found out some other Digimon were about to do it and sent us to follow them to find you."

"Erika?" Keisuke asked.

"Yeah." Betamon replied. "Something big is happening in the Digital World. You see-

A boom ended the conversation. "Yikes, what the heck was that?!" Tentomon asked.

"What the…" Keisuke ran deeper into the area. A Nanimon was rampaging, punching walls and the floor. "Another Digimon?! Did this one come in through the app as well?"

"That's impossible!" Tentomon said. "There was no one else near that rift! And I don't see any humans here!"

The Nanimon turned in their direction and charged at them. "Ice Archery!" Betamon shot an icicle into it as it charged, and it winced allowing Keisuke and his team to sidestep.

"What's going on?!" Keisuke asked. "This one's completely berserk!"

"We got no choice but to take him down!" Tentomon said. "I hope you still know how to do this Keisuke!"

"Okay…" Keisuke got into a fighting position. The Nanimon charged at him. "Betamon, stun him!"

"Electric Shock!" Betamon shot a bolt from his fin that zapped the Nanimon and paralyzed him.

"Now, Tentomon, Gotsumon, knock him down!"

"Comet Hammer!"

"Nanomachine Break!" Tentamon charged and Gotsumon punched. Nanimon landed on his back.

"Now finish him!"

Gotsumon and Tentomon jumped back. "Rock Fist!" Gotsumon shot a rock from his head.

Electricity gathered from Tentomon above him and made an orb. "Super Shocker!" Their attacks destroyed it.

"Nice!" Keisuke grinned. "Still got it!"

"Keisuke!" Betamon was flung past him.

"Betamon?!" Keisuke looked behind him. A Ogremon, and a Silver Kyubimon were behind him. "There's more?!"

"Pummel Whack!" Ogremon knocked Gotsumon down in one hit.

"Fox Tail Inferno!" Silver Kyubimon's tails lite with fire and shot into Tentomon.

"Ugh, they're too strong!" Betamon growled. "If only we didn't have to dedigivolve to get through the gate!"

"Digivolution…" Keisuke put on his visor. "There is an option for that in the app…" He looked at Tentomon in the app. A silhouette with OK on it caught his eye. "You guys merged with my Digimon in the app, so maybe…" He made an input.

Light shined from his visor onto Tentomon. The bug floated. "Tentomon Digivolve to…" His body turned purple. The four arms on his body extended and grew hands. His body grew larger and muscular as his wings grew. His antenna merged into a horn and his head changed shape. His body became black and blue. "Kabuterimon!" The Champion Level Digimon roared making his opponents step back.

"It worked!" Keisuke grinned. "In that case…" He went to Betamon on his menu, then Gotsumon.

"Betamon Digivolve to…" Betamon's body turned blue then grew into a serpent form. He grew tail fins and his head morphed and turned yellow. His body was blue with a white underbelly. "Seadramon!"

"Gostumon Digivolve to…" Gotsumon glowed orange. His legs grew in size. Then his arms, then his body. Horns and volcanos grew on his back. His head morphed and had a black mask. "Golemon!"

Keisuke grinned and punched into his palm. "Let's take it from the top!"

"Crimson Curse!" Golemon spewed red gas that stunned a Ogermon and a Silver Kyubimon.

"Electro Shocker!" Kabuterimon blasted the Ogermon with a burst of electricity.

"Ice Blast!" Seadramon froze the Silver Kyubimon before it fell over and shattered.

Keisuke watched his Digimon defeat those in front of him with ease. "T-this is amazing! You're even more powerful then when you were Champions before!"

"Heh, heh! Thanks to you raising us in that app dude!" Golemon grinned.

"We're not done yet." Kabuterimon said. "We should sweep all of Under Kawloon. Even if there's nobody else down here if these rampaging Digimon escape to the more populated EDEN Forms…"

Seadramon nodded. "You're right. We better make sure there aren't any stragglers."

"What about the other side of Kawloon?" Keisuke asked.

"Those other guys that went before us are probably taking care of that with the six chosen ones." Golemon replied.

"Huh?"

"We'll explain later." Kabutermon promised. "We should get going."

"Right."

Takumi's eyes widened as he remembered something.

"I noticed there were signals that I think were Digimon. But they're starting to vanish one by one."

"Wait, really?" Nokia asked. "What do you think happened?"

"I wish I knew."

"You don't think…" Ami muttered. "You don't think there's someone else dealing with Digimon down there, do you?"

"…It was you. You're the one who defeated the Digimon in Under Kawloon."

Keisuke nodded. "Yup. Not that there were that many. Under Kawloon 2 was empty. But we found more in level 3."

Keisuke and his team spotted a Blue Meramon in Under Kawloon 3. "There's another one!" Seadramon said. "Let's get him!"

"Electro Shocker!" Kabuterimon hit it with an electric black, but all it did was get its attention. The wild Digimon charged and Kabuterimon flew up to avoid it. Blue Meramon jumped and grabbed his leg before throwing him into Golemon.

"Be careful guys, this one's a higher level!" Keisuke said.

Seadramon swerved around blue fire blown from Blue Meramon's mouth then slapped it in the face with his tail. Golemon then grabbed it's arms in a hold and Kabuterimon rammed his horn into it. "Beetle Horn Attack!"

Just then an IceLeomon slammed into Kabuterimon getting it off Blue Meramon who broke free of Golemon's grip and turned around. "Cold Flame!" He punched it repeatedly.

"Look out, he's got back up!" Keisuke said.

A Monzeamon stampeded towards Seadramon. "Mach Rush!"

Seadramon was flung back. "No kidding." Kabuterimon and Golemon were thrown and landed at his left and right. "All three of them are Ultimate Level too! We can't keep up!"

"Then we need to go Ultimate as well if we're going to survive this!" Kabuterimon said. "Keisuke, think you can digivolved us again?"

"I-impossible! I just got you guys to Champion Level! And in the app, I never…" Keisuke paused. "No." He clenched his fist. "It's now or never. I got to make you guys digivolved again!" He opened his menu and looked at Kabuterimon. The digivolution options were shown in silhouette, but none of them were available. "Come on…I gotta do something! We all fought so hard to protect EDEN! I can't let these rampaging Digimon destroy it!" Suddenly one of the silhouettes glowed with OK displayed on it. "YES!" He pressed the button.

"Kabuterimon Digivolve to…" Kabuterimon's body became purple again. His legs exploded and turned bigger. His wings turned into a huge red shell with a blue orb on the back. Then his arms turned red, and his head changed with a growing red horn. "MegaKabuterimon!"

Keisuke then proceeded with Seadramon and Golemon.

"Seadramon Digivolve to…Seadramon grew in size and his blue body became red. His face changed shape and grew a horn and green hair flowed at the back. "MegaSeadramon!"

"Golemon Digivolve to…Golemon's body became silver. He grew boots and green pants and the four volcanos on his back merged into one. A cap fell on his head, and he spun a mic in his hand. "Volcanomon!"

Keisuke grinned at his newly evolved Digimon. "Alright, let's do this!"

MegaKabuterimon rammed his horn onto BlueMeramon, knocking him over. "Horn Buster!" His horn glowed gold before it shot a shining ray into BlueMeramon defeating it.

"Fist of Ice!" IceLeomon threw a punch that sent a blast of cold wind and ice.

MegaSeadramon swerved around the attack and his horn glowed blue. "Lightning Javelin!" He shot a bolt of thunder at the IceLeomon taking it down.

Volcanomon lifted Monzeamon then threw him to the ground and got out his mic. "Big Bang Voice!" he screamed into it making a shockwave that shattered the last target.

"Phew! Nice work boys." Keisuke smiled. "I just hope that was the last of- He shuddered when he heard a boom from the floor under him. "Of course not." He sighed before taking off towards the next floor.

"At least we got most of our strength back!" MegaKabuterimon said.

"Yeah, but how?" Keisuke asked. "Come to think of it, we normally need the Digi Lab to Digivolve you guys after meeting certain requirements."

"That's not the only way to Digivolve a Digimon." MegaSeadramon said. "Remember Justimon?"

"True…Back then, it was because of Ryuji's determination…"

"So, what was your determination?" Volcamon asked. "Oh, wait I know! You're thinking about HER, aren't you?"

Keisuke smiled slightly. "Yeah. How's she doing?"

"Keeping busier than ever with what's going on back home." MegaKabuterimon replied. "But more on that later. Let's stay focused on the task at hand."

"Right!"

"Under Kawloon 4 was clear too…but Under Kawloon 5 was swarming with Digimon. We handled most of them until they brought out the big guns."

"Rhino Charge!" MegaKabuterimon charged with his horn held out into a Cho-Hakkaimon. The pinchers squeezed around its arms and midsection while shocking it before MegaKabuterimon tossed it into the air. When it hit the ground, it shattered.

MegaKabuterimon, MegaSeadramon and Volcanomon were panting heavily. "Man. There's just no end to them…" MegaSeadramon sighed.

A Dinorexmon, Piedmon, and Eaglemon then landed in front of them. "And now they're bringing out the Mega Levels!" Volcanomon added.

"Don't panic, we'll pick on their weaknesses!" Keisuke said. "MegaKabuterimon, go for the Piedmon! Volcamon and MegaSeadramon, go for the flying one!"

"What about that Dinorexmon?" MegaKabuterimon asked.

"Just try to evade it for now!" Pidemon threw a Trump Sword at Volcanomon who jumped out of the way. MegaKabuterimon charged towards it. Pidemon sidestepped and MegaKabuterimon turned around to charge at him again, but it jumped over him. As MegaKabuterimon flew under it, DinoRexmon charged at him and slashed him with his talons. "MegaKabuterimon!

"Lightning Javelin!" MegaSeadramon fired at blast of lightning that Eaglemon swerved around before it dived towards him. He moved out of the way. "Heaven's Thunder!" He turned around and struck it with a bolt of lightning making it stager.

Volcanomon then jumped up. "Wolkenapalm!" He punched it to the ground. He landed in front of it. "Now for the finisher! Big Bang-

"Volcanomon, look out!" MegaSeadramon swooped in front of him taking a Trump Sword and collapsing.

"MegaSeadramon!" Volcanomon looked at the laughing Piedmon. "Why you…! Awesome Qua-

"Kaiser Phoenix!" Eaglemon knocked him over with a ramming attack. When he was on the ground Piedmon used Nightmare on him.

MegaKabuterimon tried to rush to the aid of his allies, but Dinorexmon knocked him over again. "Damn it!" The beetle growled. "We can't keep up!"

Keisuke cringed. Dinorexmon was stomping on MegaKabuterimon, Eagelemon was clawing Volcanomon and Piedmon was kicking MegaSeadramon. "At this rate…" He looked at his hand. "No! Not like this!" He put his visor back on.

Piedmon turned to him and threw a playing card that exploded right in front of him, knocking him over. "Keisuke, get out of here!" Volcanomon said. "Once they're done with us, you're next, save yourself!"

Keisuke had a brief flashback of being with someone. Someone dear to him who was grieving the loss of her parents. "I'm not going anywhere." Keisuke remembered a promise he made to a member on his team. He grunted and forced himself up. "I made…a promise…!" He got back to his feet. "I won't fall here!" He opened the app and started making inputs. His visor glowed.

Bright light engulfed his three Digimon and they pushed their attackers away as they stood up. "This power…" MegaSeadramon gasped.

"Alright ya stubborn fool." Volcmanomon said. "If you won't save yourself then the three of us are gonna have to protect you!"

MegaKabuterimon nodded. "Yeah! Keisuke's our friend! We're not letting anything happen to him!"

Keisuke grinned. "And I'm going to back you guys up the best I can. You're my friends too after all!" He activated the Digivolution option.

"MegaKabuterimon Digivolve to…" Four golden gauntlets with huge pincers came onto MegaKabuterimon's arms. Then giant gold boots. His shell became gold along with his head as his horn changed shape again. "HerculesKabuterimon!"

"MegaSeadramon Digivolve to…" Metal Seadramon's head morphed again having a cannon at the front instead of a horn. His green hair became silver, and his body was coated with gold and silver metal. "MetalSeadramon!"

"Volcanomon Digivilve to…" Volcanomon tossed his mice into the air, and it exploded meeting gold light. His body straightened up and black armor appeared on his legs, then his torso and arms. A gold belt attached to him, and a white scarf wrapped around his neck. Finally, his head change with a black helmet and white mask. "PileVolcamon!"

Keisuke removed his visor. "We're back in the game!"

Piedmon drew two swords and charged towards PileVolcamon, but HerculesKabuterimon intercepted and blocked the sword swings with his claws. He swung at Piedmon who jumped away and tossed his Trump Sword at HerculesKabuterimon, who simply batted it away with his horn. "Gaia Element!" He shot a green orb from his mouth that knocked Piedmon out of the sky.

DinoRexmon pounced at MetalSeadramon who moved around him before spinning and swerving like a serpent in the air. The enemy had too much trouble keeping track of his movements and was then hit by the tail. MetalSeadramon then turned to face it. "Ocean Wave!" He summoned a torrent of water that blew DinoRexmon away.

Eagelmon charged towards PileVolcamon, who leaned back to evade the slash then grabbed it by the foot. He slammed it against the ground, turned around and slammed it again. He did this a couple more times then tossed it into the air. "Mach Rush!" As it came down, he shoulder charged it.

Keisuke held his hand out towards the three weakened Digimon. "Finish the job!"

"River of Power!" MetalSeadramon's giant gold cannon fired a blue beam that obliterated Eaglemon.

PileVolcamon shot a meteor from his back. "Volcanic Driver!" He jumped up and caught it and slammed down on Dinorexmon, destroying it in a fiery explosion.

"Giga Blaster!" HurculesKabuterimon's horn glowed before shooting a giant beam that destroyed Piedmon.

"Alright!" Keisuke grinned. "Man, you guys grew up a lot faster than last time! Ha, ha!"

The Digimon turned to him. "Thanks to you buddy!" PileVolcmaon said holding a thumb up.

"Impressive." The Digimon heard a voice, followed by footsteps then a spear sinking into the ground. "Your power has increased since we last met."

Keisuke looked past his Digimon and gasped at the sight of another Digimon. "You're…!"

"It was a tall Digimon in armor with a skull like face." Keisuke said. "Armed with a massive spear and a shield."

"Craniamon." Takumi scowled.

"Truth be told, it wasn't the first time I met him. There was a…incident back when Digimon came to Tokyo."

"You're that scary Digimon from before! Craniamon!"

"So, you remember me." Craniamon said. "Interesting…I'm certain you are not one of the chosen…"

"Huh?"

PileVolcamon folded his arms. "So, you're the one leading this attack. Why are you terrorizing EDEN?"

"We have only come here to stop the Digimon that came to request aid from the six humans that summoned the Eaters to the Digital World." Craniamon replied.

"The Eaters?" Keisuke asked. "You're telling me someone brought them to the Digital World?!"

The knight looked at him. "Your memory remains intact, yet you don't know that? It was you humans who are responsible for the suffering of our world!"

"What do you mean?!"

"Don't listen to him Keisuke!" MetalSeadramon said. "He and his turncoat buddies are the ones causing suffering in the Digital World right now!"

"So, you are also with the resistance." Craniamon said. "How odd. I have no record of you. Regardless, my mission is to go after the six chosen. Not you." He turned around to leave. "I suggest you leave EDEN boy. We won't hesitate to destroy it in order to flush them out."

Keisuke glared at him as he stepped away. "Oh no you don't."

"Giga Blaster!" HerculesKabuterimon fired at Craniamon who easily blocked it with his shield.

The knight faced Keisuke and his team. "Do you seek an early grave?"

"Do you have any idea what you're doing?" Keisuke stepped forward. "So many people in this world rely on EDEN! It's what connected so many! If you just casually destroy it out of spite it won't just be these "chosen" that suffer but the entire human world!"

"It would be justice then! For those chosen humans brought disaster that pledged our entire world!"

"Just because a small group of them did something wrong doesn't make it just to let them all fall!" HerculesKabuterimon said.

"I might not fully understand what's going on." Keisuke admitted. "But I know what I have to do! Erika loved EDEN! If you want to destroy it, you'll have to go through me first!"

"Hmph." Craniamon turned to him. "So be it. If you have allied yourself with resistance Digimon and remember the previous incident I suppose it would be dangerous to let you be. But don't think this will end like last time. Alphamon isn't here to help you know!"

"Who? Wait, you mean that Detective Digimon?"

Craniamon got into a fighting stance. "Prepare yourself!" He charged towards Keisuke's Digimon and-

"Wait, hold on a minute!" Takumi said. "Detective Digimon" What's that about?"

"Oh, well it's kinda a long story." Keisuke said. "See last time I saw Craniamon, he was trying to help his friend UlforceVeedramon."

"That's the Royal Knight who failed to make it to the human world." BlackWarGreymon noted.

"So, then this Digimon clad in black armor showed up saying she was also looking for UlforceVeedramon. We helped them look but were forced to turn back. Craniamon resisted but thanks to her we were able to drag her back. Though to be honest without her help we would've been screwed. Craniamon was crazy strong. But Detective Digimon was even stronger."

"Black armor…And she overpowered a Royal Knight…" Takumi murmured. "It must have been Alphamon. She was also looking for the Royal Knights at the time."

Kyoko turned to him and his friends. "Alphamon…that was the Digimon who you said possessed my body, correct?"

"Huh?" Keisuke looked at her then gaped. "Wait…That Digimon was you, Kyoko?!"

"Apparently. Though I have no memory of those events."

Keisuke stared at her in shock for a bit longer. "…I…I don't even…Wow. Huh…Now that I think about it something about her was familiar…But that was a huge shock."

"So, you fought Craniamon again?" Yuuko asked. "Takumi and I defeated him before. He was a formidable opponent."

"Tell, me about it. And to make matters worse he's even stronger than he was back then." Keisuke replied.

"That's not good." Arata said. "So, what did you do?"

"Well…"

"Ocean Wave!" MetalSeadramon fired a blast of water at Craniamon, who blocked it with his shield them rammed said shield into his face. He turned around and thrusted his spear at PileVolcamon who jumped and landed on it. He ran up the weapon and threw a punch at Craniamon who blocked it with his shield then swung his lance upward flinging Volcamon off it and into the air. When he came down, he was slashed by the spear. HerculesKabuterimon swung his right claw at him, and it was deflected by the spear. Then his left claw was blocked by the shield. Craniamon then kicked him over.

"Awesome Quake!" As PileVolcamon and MetalSeadramon rused to aid HerculesKabuterimon, Craniamon slammed his spear into the ground and the whole ground shook.

"W-whoa!" Keisuke fell onto his rear as his Digimon were knocked around by shockwaves.

Craniamon then charged at PileVolcamon who jumped over the spear. "Meteor Fall!" He threw a burning bolder at Craniamon who batted it aside with his shield. MetalSeadramon charged to headbutt him, but he leaned out of the way then slammed his knee into his body, knocking him sky high. HerculesKabuterimon then flew in to ram his horn at Craniamon who simply held up his spear and blocked it. HerculesKabuterimon growled as he tried to push harder. Craniamon on the other hand showed no sign of struggling with keeping him back. "Mach Rush!" PileVolcamon shoulder charged but Craniamon blocked him with his shield. He tried to push it away, but Craniamon wouldn't budge. Craniamon spun in place whacking HerculesKabuterimon with his shield and PileVolcamon with his spear.

"This is crazy!" MetalSeadramon growled. "We can't even lay a finger on him!"

"He's even stronger then when we last fought." MetalSeadramon added.

Craniamon tapped the bottom of his spear on the ground. "Was this truly your best effort?"

"That shield can't protect him from everything all at once!" Keisuke said. "Spread out and hit him with all you got from multiple angles!"

"Right!" HerculesKabuterimon swerved to the left of Craniamon, MetalSeadramon got to the right of him, and PileVolcamon shot a meteor overhead before jumping towards it.

"Giga Blaster!"

"River of Power!"

"Volcanic Driver!"

As three signature attacks came at Craniamon from different directions, he held up his shield. "Breath of the Gods." The shield glowed and a wall of light surrounded him blocking all of the attacks. "Now what was that about my shield not being able to protect me from everything?"

"No way!" Keisuke gapped.

"Clever. But insufficient." Craniamon said. He held his spear over his head in both hands. "Let me show you how to properly defeat an enemy." He spun his lance so fast he created a tornado around him. "Waltz's End!" Keisuke's Digimon were sucked in and spun around in the air before they were blown away.

"No!" Keisuke ran over to his downed Digimon.

Craniamon stopped his attack and faced him. "Hmph. What a disappointment." He stepped towards Keisuke and his Digimon. "I fought the humans who "saved" this world. You're nothing in comparison."

HerculesKabuterimon looked up to the knight who reeled back his lance. "Tch…"

Crainiamon looked at him. "This ends here."

Keisuke rushed in front of his Digimon with his arms held out. "K-Keisuke!" PileVolcamon gasped.

"What are you doing?!" MetalSeadramon gasped.

Craniamon stared at him. "What is this?"

"Stay away from my pals!"

"Keisuke, are you nuts?!" HerculesKabuterimon yelled. "Get out of here!"

Craniamon looked at Keisuke. For a spit second, he saw Takumi and Ami in his place. "Just like them."

Keisuke swapped his glare for a confused expression. "Huh?"

"Most humans see Digimon as slaves or tools, but you…you would put your life in danger to protect yours?"

Keisuke looked down. "I'll admit, this world has plenty of terrible people. When I first met my Digimon they were being treated like products to be sold. I won't forgive how heartless those people were. But not all of us are like that!"

"Are you implying that the human race is redeemable just because of one or two humans who would put their live on the line for others? Childish nonsense."

"That's not true!" HerculesKabuterimon grunted and tried to push himself off the floor. "I remember that day! We were terrified of humans! I thought we were going to get sold to people who would abuse us until we were destroyed! But when Keisuke came, he…He stood up for us, even though he never met us before or understood what Digimon are! And when he was attacked for it, Ryuji showed up and helped! Those two proved to us…that there are good humans!" HerculesKabuterimon got back to his feet.

Keisuke looked at him. "HerculesKabuterimon…"

"Seeing his courage to help others…It gives us strength…and to fulfill my mission I'll use that strength to help him stand against whatever comes our way! Even a Royal Knight!"

Keisuke smiled and turned to Craniamon. "That's right. If I see someone who needs help, then I help them! That's my honor as a member of Hudie!" He closed his eyes and saw Yu, Chitose, Ryuji, and then…

"Erika…" He put on his Digivice and saw a new Digivolution option. "This is it, I can tell. The power I brought out while fighting to save Erika and EDEN." He selected the option.

HerculesKabuterimon roared as he glowed red. Craniamon shielded himself from the blinding glow and jumped back. "What is this?"

"HerculesKabuterimon Digivolve to…" HerculesKabuterimon turned into a ball of flame. Two giant purple arms with huge claws came out. Then a long tail and two antennas dangling with it with spike flails. As the fireball shrunk and dissipated, it showed purple spiked shoulder pads, two horns resembling a dragon's head with glowing eyes within, and red eyes and an orange orb on the chest. He sprouted yellow wings and roared. "TyrantKabuterimon!"

Keisuke lowered his visor showing his serious eyes. "Let's show him Hudie's true power TyrantKabuteirmon!"

Craniamon looked at the new Digimon. "He Digivolved beyond the Mega Level…using a human's emotions? What madness is this?"

"Meteor Fall!" The Ultra Level Digimon shot a fireball from his mouth and Craniamon blocked it with his shield.

"You appear to be a Virus Type. As a Vaccine Type I hold and advantage. Digivolving for that human may have done you more harm than good!"

"We'll just see about that! Speed Break Field!" TyrantKabuterimon howled and Craniamon glowed blue. "Speed Charge Field!" He roared as he and his fellow Digimon glowed red. He then charged straight into Craniamon slashing him with his claws. He turned around and charged at Craniamon who swung his spear, but he flew over the attack. "Heaven's Thunder!" He summoned a bolt of lighting on him. While Craniamon staggered he aimed to swing at him when he was hit in the back of River of Power. It pushed him back until he held up his spear and spun it to block the stream.

PileVolcamon came down with Volcanic Driver and Craniamon held up his shield to block him. "W-what's going on?! Not only did one of them Digivolve, but the other two are growing in power!"

"This is the strength of our bond!" PileVolcamon said.

TyrantKabuterimon charged in. "Crescent Leaf!" He slashed into Craniamon again knocking him back.

"Wolkenapalm!" PileVolcamon threw a fiery punch into his chest.

"Hydro Water!" MetalSeadramon fired a blast of water knocking him even further. He rolled onto the ground before pushing himself off.

"I refuse to be defeated by humans again…!" He stood up and stared spinning his spear. "Waltz's End!" Craniamon formed another giant tornado that shot wind blades. TyrantKabuterimon dodged them.

Keisuke stood his ground as they blew past him. "Let's finish this!"

TyrantKabuterimon's eyes glowed. "Shine of Bee!" He let lose a fiery explosion that dissipated the tornado and blew back Craniamon who crashed to the ground.

The knight growled as he got his back off the floor. "How is this possible…How can relying on humans give Digimon such strength…?"

Keisuke stepped forward. "I won't let you destroy EDEN!"

Craniumon stood up. "Tch…I loath to admit it…but this might not be a fight I can win…" He heard a beep. "Hmm?" A monitor opened up in front of him. "…Understood. I'm on my way now." The monitor closed and he looked at Keisuke. "Apologies. But I will be taking my leave."

"Wha…?"

"Consider this your final warning. Stay out of the Next Order's way. There are others even stronger than me. You'll be throwing your life away."

"Wait!" Keisukeran towards the Royal Knight as he jumped away glowing blue and taking flight. The boy came to a halt. "What was that about?"

MetalSeadramon closed his eyes. "I think he's heading towards Kawloon Level 5!"

"Yeah? How can you tell?" PileVolcamon asked.

"Because I sense something else up there. A great power!"

Keisuke turned to them. "We gotta go after him! Let's move!" His Digimon nodded.

"So, we hurried to Kawloon Level 5 as fast as we could." Keisuke looked down. "Unfortunately…by the time we finally got there…"

Keisuke and his Digimon hurried through the highest floor of Kawloon. "Where did you say that power was?"

"Just up ahead!" MetalSeadramon replied.

Ami was struggling in Algomon's grip as she was carried towards the gate. "Let me go! Guys, help!"

"Hold on!" Arata shouted as he and Takumi sprinted towards her.

"Let my sister go!" Takumi yelled.

"Takumi, Arata, look out!" Rapidmon Armor yelled.

Craniumon slammed his spear on the ground. "Awesome Quake!" The ground shook and Takumi and Arata fell over.

Ami's eyes grew desperate and terrified. "TAKUMI! ARATA!" Algomon pulled her into the void. Craniumon followed.

"AMI!" Rosemon Burst Mode, Ophanimon and Kuzuhamon flew as fast as they could as the hole started to close. Takumi got back on his feet and hurried. Just as Ami's Digimon went in, it closed shut and vanished.

Everyone was shocked into silence. "…This can't be happening." Arata whispered.

Takumi stopped right in front of where it was. "…No…no…!" He dropped to his knees then his hands. "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

Yuuko looked at her trembling friend. "Takumi…"

Keisuke looked at the devastated Takumi in shock. "…Takumi…Ami…"

TyrantKabuterimon growled. "We were too late…"

"Now what do we do? What's going to happen to Ami?"

"First, let's log out." PileVolcamon said. "We need to talk to you about what's going on in the Digital World."

Keisuke sighed. "Yeah, okay. I think there's a lot I don't understand here."

"And that's what happened."

Everyone stared at Keisuke as he finished explaining his side of the events of the attack in EDEN. "…I see." Kyoko nodded.

Keisuke looked at Takumi. "I'm so sorry Takumi. If only I had gotten there just a bit sooner…"

"There was nothing you could have done." Takumi replied. He then looked at his friends. "But still…I'm surprised everyone here knows you."

"How do you know Keisuke, Takumi?" Nokia asked.

"He goes to the same school as Ami and me. What about you guys?"

"Well, I meet him through his buddy Chitose. Said they were part of a team called…hoods?"

"Hudie." Yuuko corrected. "Back in the other reality, his team did a lot for me and Zaxon."

"Yeah, I meet him back then too." Arata added. "Hudie was run by Ryuji and Chitose. They used to be part of Jude."

"I meet him before too." Yuugo said. "He was with a girl trying to save someone who was eroded by an Eater. They found a way into their network where I met them."

"A girl? Wait, you mean Ryuji's sister?"

"Erika Mishima?" Yuuko asked. "Actually, that's something that's been troubling me. I was making sure she was okay and receiving her treatment as a means to make amends for what Hudie went through because of what happened in Under Zero…But it's like she no longer exists."

Keisuke looked down sadly. "Wait, is that true?!" Arata asked.

"That's because Erika is no longer here." Keisuke said. "She…she's in the Digital World."

Everyone looked at Keisuke. "WHAT?!"

"There's a human in the Digital World right now?!" Takumi asked.

"Well…she isn't really human anymore. She turned into a Digimon."

Everyone fell silent. "…I'm sorry say that again?" Nokia chuckled. "Because for a second there I thought you said you saw a person turn into a Digimon."

"You heard right. She leads the Hudie of the Digital World." TyrantKabuterimon said.

"That's why…that's why I want to go with you guys to the Digital World!" Keisuke said.

"That's why you followed me and Kyoko here?" Takumi asked. "But how did you know to-

"After what happened in EDEN, my Digimon told me what was going on in the Digital World regarding this "Next Order" and everything else. They also told me how they followed your Digimon to this world. Erika sent them to find me so they could ask me to lend a hand too."

"Erika also had us pass a message to Keisuke." PileVolcmaon said.

"Seek out the Cyber Sleuths and their companions"." MetalSeadramon quoted. "Erika was able to peer into the human world and knew that like Keisuke, you guys remember events with Digimon."

"She also knows about the battle you six had in the Digital World." TyrantKabuterimon. "You are the six "chosen ones". The saviors of two worlds from the Eater threat."

"I was going to ask you directly if this was true." Keisuke said to Takumi. "But when I saw how depressed you were at school, I thought it wasn't a good time. I couldn't stop thinking about the idea of others remembering Digimon and all that happened though. So, when I saw you at Nanako Broadway, I followed you to the agency and…I kinda…eavesdropped on your conversation with Kyoko and your Digimon. So, I took off for Roppongi and waited for you guys then followed you here, and…here we are I guess."

"I…I see." Takumi said.

"I know I'm not one of you guys." Keisuke said. "And it's not like any of you owe me anything…but Erika…she did so much for me. That's why I want to repay her. No, I must repay her!" He bowed his head. "So please! Let me join you!"

The group fell silent before Kyoko spoke up. "What do you think Satoru? Would you be willing to make another log in spot on the terminal for Keisuke here?"

The man looked at Keisuke who still bowed his head. "Well, I don't think it's up to me." He and Kyoko looked at Takumi and the others.

They were silent until Takumi spoke up. "Is that alright with you guys? I mean I never knew Keisuke trained Digimon, but it sounds like you saw him in action before."

"Omegamon and I tested him before we went off to the Digital World." Nokia smiled. "Trust me, he's a tough dude!"

"I have no objections." Yuuko added. "We could use the extra manpower."

"Fine by me." Arata shrugged with a grin. "He's pretty capable as a Digimon Tamer and a Hacker."

Yuugo smiled. "Given the determination he's show from fighting a Royal Knight to following you all the way out here, I doubt he'll take no for an answer anyway."

Takumi grinned. "Then it's unanimous. Welcome abord Keisuke."

Keisuke looked up in surprise. "For real?!"

"If you have Digimon who will fight with you, know the current situation and remember what happened before like us, I see no reason to turn you away."

Keisuke had the most exited smile on his face. "Thank you! Thank you so much! I won't let you guys down!"

Kyoko smiled. "It's settled then."

"Very well." Satoru nodded. "I will make the preparations to explain this "event" to everyone's families and schools. I would suggest you spend the next week with your friends and loved ones. From what I hear, you may not see them for a while."

Everyone looked down. "Yeah…" Keisuke said. "It's kinda sad, but I have to do this."

Yuuko turned to him. "I'll tell Ryuji that you were asked to participate in the event. Even now Hudie does a lot of work for Kamishiro Enterprises, so I doubt he'll find it suspicious."

"Thanks, Yuuko."

Takumi folded his arms and looked down. "Takumi?" Yuuko looked at him in concern. "What's with the serious look?"

"Guys…Would all of you be free tomorrow after school?"

"Uh, sure." Nokia replied.

"I can manage that." Arata replied.

"Yuuko and I will be free too." Yuugo said.

"What about you Keisuke?" Takumi asked.

"Um, sure, I guess. Why?"

"Then let's meet up at my apartment then. I want to tell you about the previous incident."

"What about it?"

"Evreything. Where the Eaters came from, how the six of us were involved and everything we know."

Nokia looked at him. "You mean…including that day eight years ago? Are you sure Takumi?"

Takumi glanced at his friends. "Keisuke might not have been part of that demo event but he's like us. He remembers what happened with Eaters and Digimon in the past. He has a right to know the truth about why that all happened. Besides, it's as Kyoko said, knowing all this and keeping it to yourself is stressful. And while we had each other it sounds like Keisuke had nobody to talk to about it. It will help put him at ease."

Arata put his hands in his pockets. "…Maybe you're right."

"I see…" Yuuko said. "Come to think of it there are things Keisuke has experienced that he can share with us too."

"That does sound nice." Keisuke slightly smiled before looking at the floor. "The truth, huh?" He thought for a moment. "…Okay. I mean, I don't really get it, but something tells me I should know what this is about before we go. I'm sure Erika would have wanted me to."

"That's a good idea." Omegamon said. "There's more about the situation in the Digital World we would like to share with everyone as well."

"Then it's agreed." Takumi said clenching a fist. "We'll meet at my place tomorrow at 4:30. Give everyone time to settle down."

"Keisuke, I'll send you his address via DigiLine." Arata said.

"Thanks."

"And we'll all meet here one week from now." Yuugo said.

"Let's aim for 1:00 PM." Satoru said. "We'll have everything ready by then."

"And we're going to the Digital World to kick ass and save Ami!" Nokia cheered. Everyone nodded.

"Alright…Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Keisuke turned around to leave.

"Wait, Keisuke." Yuuko said.

He stopped and turned around. "Yeah?"

"There's something you should know…It sounds like you didn't make it to Kawloon Level 5 in time to see the human with Craniamon."

"What? Are you saying a human is working with the Next Order?"

"That's right." Takumi replied. "He's in command of two of the Seven Deadly Digimon."

"And there's more." Yuuko said. "It's a masked man calling himself K."

Keisuke's eyes widened. "What did you say?!"

"I don't know if it's just a coincidence or if it's the same person you were following before…"

"Wait, Keisuke, you know this creep?!" Nokia asked.

"Before the world changed, he had my EDEN account hacked."

"Is that why everyone at school thought you were a hacker?" Takumi asked.

"Yeah…"

Takumi sighed. "I'm really sorry about that Keisuke. Truth is Ami and I both had our doubts, but Ryota and Sakura told us not to say anything thinking we'd just be throwing ourselves under the bus…We should have stood up for you."

"It's fine. I mean even if you did it wouldn't have changed anything."

"Look, I'm sure there's a lot everyone wants to talk about, but let's save it for the meeting after school." Arata said.

"Well then, we'll be leaving now." Kyoko said. "I don't want Takumi's mother to worry about him."

Keisuke nodded. "Right. See you guys tomorrow."

As Takumi sat in the passengers eat while Kyoko drove him home a lot of thoughts swirled around his mind. "It sounds like you kids will have a lot to catch up on tomorrow." Kyoko said.

"Kyoko…I need you to do me a favor." Takumi said.

"Yes Watson?"

"…Don't tell my mom about this."

"Are you planning on leaving without telling her what you're up to? She won't take that very well."

"If all goes according to Mr. Kamishiro's plan she'll just think I'm taking part of an event."

"And should she grow suspicious if you take too long in the Digital World? Then she's going to think something happened to you. Besides, she'd be happy to know that Ami is going to be rescued."

"Kyoko, please! She's already devastated over Ami, if she learns about me going somewhere dangerous and the kind of peril Ami's in, it will destroy her! Promise me you won't tell her!"

Kyoko sighed. "Stubborn as always. Alright, I promise I won't say a word to her about what you're up to."

"Thank you." Takumi looked out the window. "Mom…It'll all be okay. I promise."

And with that Keisuke is officially part of the team. Next week our friends trade stories and learn more of what's going on in the Digital World.
