Meanwhile with Class 1-A...

Midoriya froze in place, seeing the one villain that he didn't expect to confront. He felt his hands shake, remembering seeing this Sludge Villain for the first time. It was such a long time ago, but for some reason it got to him. He felt sick to his stomach, remembering how things went between him and Bakugo.

"Izuku Midoriya... It's been a while, hasn't it?" The Sludge Villain said to him with a gurgling voice.

Midoriya's eyes were so wide as the Sludge Villain kept towering over him. His knees felt like they were about to collapse as he stared at him. For a moment, he felt like he was quirkless again.

"Deku! Get out of there!" Bakugo cried out, looking just as terrified as Midoriya.

Midoriya snapped out of it and remembered that he had One for All. For some reason, he couldn't activate or he just get it to work. His legs ran away from him and towards Class 1-A, but the Sludge Villain slammed down onto him. Everyone shielded themselves from the sludge scattering all over them. They looked up to see Midoriya being held back by the sludge villain. He tried to get away from him, but the sludge was too thick and dense to get out of.

Everyone froze in place, not sure how to get Midoriya out of there. His eyes grew wide as he tried to get out of it, but the Sludge Villain kept pulling him down. The Sludge Villain smiled as he kept trying to force him to stay away from Class 1-A.

"I will get that Miraculous! If not, I'll just take you with me!" The Sludge Villain cried out.

Midoriya's eyes widened in shock and felt the sludge start to crawl up to his mouth. He tried to activate One for All and felt something blocking it. He didn't understand why it wasn't working. He tried again, but it wasn't responding. The Sludge Villain tried to keep him pinned down as he made his way over to his mouth.

"Izuku!" Uraraka cried out as she ran towards him.

Bakugo stopped her, causing her to stare daggers at him.

"What're you doing Bakugo?! I have to go after him!" Uraraka cried out.

She looked at him and noticed that he was shaking as he gripped onto her. Everyone seemed to notice and remembered that he had confronted him back before he even entered U.A. Something about him made him sick to his stomach as he gripped onto her arm.

"You need to careful around him," Bakugo growled out, "He may be some random criminal, but his quirk is pretty strong. Even I had trouble with him back then."

Everyone was surprised to hear Bakugo admit this. Something about it made them worry about defeating him. Uraraka clenched her fists, feeling determined to stop him with everyone else.

"We need to do something," Uraraka said back to him, "Come on! Izuku needs help."

Class 1-A all agreed, and Bakugo hesitated. His hands were still shaking, but he clenched them into fists to help him calm down. They all circled around the Sludge Villain as Midoriya tried to fight his way out of the sludge. He felt it trying to make its way into his mouth, which just made him wanna gag. In the corner of his eye, Uraraka and the others were circling around them both. The Sludge Villain seemed to notice, but didn't seem to care about any of them.

Then he spotted Bakugo. He smiled widely which just gave him chills.

"Well isn't this ironic? It looks like you're here to save Izuku now!" The Sludge Villain said in a gurgling voice, "Don't come any closer."

Midoriya felt a tight grip around his arms as he tried to fight him off. He felt the sludge tighten up around him, causing him to wince. The Sludge Villain took advantage of this and soon made his way up his mouth. Everyone froze in place, not sure how to handle this sort of thing. Hawks had already left to deal with Gentle Criminal and La Brava.

None of them wanted to hurt Midoriya, so Todoroki was hesitant to use his ice side. They didn't have Iida to help him out of there. Sato decided to eat some sugar and launched right at him. He tried to punch his way through him, but it just didn't let up. The sludge was too slippery and dense to get Midoriya out of there. The Sludge Villain smiled and punched him across the field.

"Sato!" Yaoyorozu cried out.

"Maybe my navel laser will do the trick!" Aoyama cried out as he aimed right for the Sludge Villain.

"Don't! You might accidentally hit Izuku!" Uraraka cried out.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it," Kirishima said as he ran into the Sludge Villain head on.

"Kirishima, wait!" Bakugo cried out.

Kirishima activated his quirk and used it to dig his way through. He kept going at it, and he seemed to be more successful than Sato. The Sludge Villain was surprised, but soon the Sludge formed around his arms. Kirishima tried to get out of it, but he could almost feel Midoriya's hand. He tried to reach him as the sludge tried to stop him.

"Midoriya... Don't worry... We'll get you out of this!" Kirishima growled out as he tried to reach him.

Midoriya looked at Kirishima, but couldn't get himself to move. He felt like the Sludge Villain was draining his energy. He tried to fight out of it, but all he could do was look at Kirishima. Then the Sludge Villain punched Kirishima out of the way, causing him to go flying into the group. Bakugo could tell that Kirishima was having a hard time with him.

"I don't know we're going to get him out of this!" Kaminari cried out, "That thing is strong!"

"Why don't you electrocute that thing?" Mineta asked him, looking a little terrified.

"That would just hurt Midoriya you idiot," Jirou said back.

They all looked at Midoriya, and the Sludge Villain was forming a mouth around Midoriya's face, which just creeped them out even more. Bakugo didn't know what to do. He felt like he could easily defeat him now, but not with Midoriya in the way. Something about him still made him a little shaky. He tried to calm down, but those flashbacks of being held hostage by that thing coming kept coming up. He looked up to see Midoriya looking pretty exhausted.

"What do we do Bakugo?!" Ashido cried out, "Midoriya needs us!"

Bakugo snapped out of it and looked at everyone around him. They all looked at him since he had fought him before. Bakugo didn't even consider being a hostage as a fight. This was a very different akumatized villain, and Bakugo didn't know what to do. He clenched his fists in anger as everyone looked at him with worried eyes.

"I-I don't know...!" Bakugo cried out, shocking them.

Ashido looked at him and back at Midoriya frantically. She knew that he needed help, and by the looks of it, soon. She felt like she needed to do something. Then she noticed the Sludge Villain starting to form around Midoriya, but he still tried to get out of it. Her eyes widened in shock, feeling sick to her stomach. Something about it really freaked her out, but then she saw the look on his face. He looked like he was looking for someone to help him.

She felt her hands shaking, but clenched her fists with determination. Then before anyone could react, Ashido ran for it.

"What're you doing?!" Uraraka cried out.

Ashido kept going, feeling tears forming around her eyes. She was scared of that thing, but she kept going. The Sludge Villain noticed her and smiled at her. She almost stumbled and froze in place, but kept running. Soon enough, she made it to the Sludge Villain and shoved her hands into it. He couldn't help but laugh at her attempt to help him. Midoriya could barely keep his head up at this point.

"Midoriya! Just hold on!" Ashido cried out to him, "I'll get you out of there!"

"A girl like you is going to help him?!" The Sludge Villain said back, "What makes you think that you can stop me?!"

Then Ashido smiled at the Sludge Villain with determination. She shoved her hands into the sludge, causing her hands to pour acid into it. The Sludge Villain's eyes widened in shock, and Ashido smiled as she kept it coming. Soon enough, the Sludge Villain started to sizzle. That caused everyone to watch her in awe at what she was capable of. She kept pouring her acid into it, that her eyes started to turn white.

"W-What are you doing?!" The Sludge Villain cried out.

"My quirk is acid! Maybe you should think twice before going after my friend!" Ashido cried back as her skin started to change color.

The Sludge Villain felt himself sizzling and soon leaped away from her and Midoriya. Ashido noticed Midoriya struggling to stay up, so she caught him before he could fall over. She wanted to go after the Sludge Villain, but Midoriya was more important right now.

"Somebody stop him!" Ashido cried out.

Todoroki felt like he could finally help and froze the Sludge Villain in place. That caused him to freeze up, even the sludge.

"What about the akuma? Where is it?" Todoroki asked them.

Before anyone could do anything, Bakugo launched right at the Sludge Villain with an explosive fist. He gritted his teeth as he made his way towards him.

"This is for holding Deku hostage! Keep your slimy hands to yourself!" Bakugo cried out.

He slammed his fist into the Sludge Villain, causing the ice to fall apart along the sludge. The akuma flew out of the ice pieces, and Yaoyorozu struggled to catch it. Eventually she did, and the Sludge Villain reformed into himself once the purplish cloud appeared. Todoroki quickly froze him in place so Hawks could take care of him later.

Everyone felt like they could relax now. Then they noticed that Ashido was holding Midoriya to check on him. He looked exhausted, but he wasn't waking up.

"Midoriya! Come on!" Ashido cried out as she shook him awake.

Before she knew it, Midoriya woke up coughing up sludge. Everyone backed up, not wanting to get anywhere near that stuff. Midoriya looked like he was going to be sick as he turned pale.

"Izuku! Are you okay?" Uraraka asked him with worried eyes.

"Y-Yeah... I-I'm okay... Ju-Just... feel sick... That's all..." Midoriya said back as he held his stomach.

"I don't blame you. That was disgusting," Kirishima said to him, "It's a good thing that Ashido came in when she did. She used her acid to get him away from you!"

Midoriya's eyes widened in shock, remembering seeing her go after him. He didn't know exactly what was going on, but he could tell that she was determined to go save him.

"Thank you Ashido-- Wait a minute, what's going on with your eyes and skin?" Midoriya asked her, and she touched her face.

Everyone noticed that her eyes and skin color was changing color. It only seemed to change with one of her eyes and a little bit of her face.

"That's so weird. Did the Sludge Villain do this to you?" Kaminari asked her.

"No! He didn't do anything," Ashido said back, "This has never happened before. I'm sure that it's fine."

She tried to get up, but felt slightly dizzy. Kirishima noticed and quickly stopped her from falling over.

"Maybe you should sit out of this for a while. I'm sure Recovery Girl can help out with whatever's going on," Kirishima said to her.

Ashido didn't want to, but then she felt a little dizzy as she walked. She agreed with him, and he helped her over to the dormitory.

Uraraka helped Midoriya up, and he noticed that Bakugo kept staring at him. Something about it bothered him, and he could tell that he was a little thrown off with the Sludge Villain. Midoriya couldn't blame him since Bakugo had it worse than him when he captured him. He tried to walk away from Uraraka, but he stumbled a little.

"Kacchan..." Midoriya said to him, catching his attention.

Bakugo seemed to finally understand what was going on as he looked at the frozen Sludge Villain. Then he looked at Midoriya, and he felt frustrated. He clenched his fists, and Midoriya could tell that he was annoyed with how things turned out.

"Kacchan... It's not your fault," Midoriya said to him, "You and I did not expect the Sludge Villain to show up of all people. You can't blame yourself for what happened. Even I froze up there for a moment."

Bakugo's eyes widened, and then looked down to see that he still had the Miraculous on him.

"Whether it was an upgrade of his quirk or not, I wasn't able to activate One for All," Midoriya said to him, "We both had to deal with that villain back then, but things are different now. Your quirk is much stronger now, and now... I actually have a quirk. If anything, this should be a way to see that we've grown a lot since then."

Bakugo loosened his fists and noticed how much Midoriya has changed. Even that field trip seemed to change things as he looked down at his Miraculous. He couldn't help but chuckle at how right he was.

Midoriya had grown a lot without him realizing it.

Meanwhile with Ladybug and her teammates...

Iida laid in the dirt, feeling damage done to one of his engines. He watched Ladybug and her teammates facing Wolfram. He never thought he'd be akumatized, but there he was an upgrade from the akuma. He looked at Melissa and knew that he had to get her out of here. Wolfram had captured her and had her stuck to the school building with some metal wrapped around her. He couldn't let Wolfram get her, especially with how things went down between him and her dad.

He clenched his fists in frustration and tried to get up. Iida felt a little off with his engine being damaged, but he had to do something. He activated his quirk and ran over to her as quickly as he could. She spotted him right away and was instantly worried about him.

"Tenya! What're you doing here?!" Melissa whisper yelled, "You shouldn't be over here! Wolfram's gonna see you!"

Iida felt his engine falter and tried to pull on the metal to get her free. His gritted his teeth as he pulled on it.

"I don't care. I need to help you," Iida said back through gritted teeth, "I can't just let you get taken away. That wouldn't be very heroic of me."

Melissa's eyes widened in shock and let him help out. Something about him made her feel more comfortable considering the circumstances. Then Wolfram spotted Iida, causing her to freeze up.

"You thought you could get away from me?!" Wolfram cried out as he stared him down.

Suddenly, Iida felt a pull towards Wolfram and away from Melissa. He held onto the metal that Melissa was trapped in, but he still felt him slipping. His armor was keeping him from staying with Melissa. He'd take it off if he could, but it wasn't possible to do that at the moment.

"Tenya! Get out of here!" Melissa cried out.

"No way... I won't leave you like this...!" Iida growled out as he tried to tighten his grip.

Iida soon felt the metal start to bend as Wolfram pulled him closer to him. Melissa felt the metal loosen around one of her arms. She tried to pull it out, but she needed more wiggle room. As Iida gripped onto the metal, it soon bent enough to the point where Melissa could get her arm out. She grabbed his arm to help him stay with her.

"I won't let him hurt you!" Melissa cried out, "I may be quirkless, but I'm still trying to help heroes like you!"

Iida's eyes widened in shock and looked at her. He had no idea that she was quirkless like Midoriya once was. He at least had a feeling that her quirk wasn't as flashy as others, but he this threw him off. All he could see was how determined she looked to stop Wolfram. Then Iida felt the pull towards Wolfram go away and noticed that Ladybug and her teammates were fighting him off. He was grateful that they were here to help. Iida tried to get Melissa out of these things, but it barely budged.

"Tenya, just go help out Ladybug and her team. They need you," Melissa said back with worried eyes.

"No way. I can't just leave you here. Not with Wolfram coming after you," Iida said as he tried to bend the metal away from her, "I'd feel better knowing that you are safe."

Melissa felt a little comfortable and relaxed once he started helping her, but something about it felt really good. Before she knew it, he had bent the metal, and she got out of it. She felt like she could finally stretch. Then she noticed that one of his engines was damaged pretty badly.

"Tenya, when this is all done, let me help you fix that engine," Melissa said to him, "I owe you one after all."

Melissa smiled at him, making him feel really proud of himself for helping her out. He was just so glad to see her out of that metal trap. Then Iida turned around to see Ladybug and her teammates fighting him off. They looked like they needed some help. Iida clenched his fists with frustration that he did this to help Melissa in the first place.

"I won't let him get away with this," Iida growled out.

Iida got ready to go after him by getting into a fighting stance. He looked up to see Wolfram and noticed that the only thing that could have an akuma in it is his mask. He didn't notice at first, but it was the only thing that didn't change into different metals. Ladybug noticed him getting ready to help and wrapped him into her yo-yo string. She nodded, ready for him to take care of it.

Iida activated his quirk as his engines went on full blast. His damaged engine wasn't doing too good, but he kept going. He launched right at him and went in for his special move.

"Recipro Burst!" Iida cried out.

He then kicked Wolfram in the face, making his mask break into pieces. He fell to the floor, knocked out cold. The akuma flew out of the mask, and Melissa captured it quite easily. She smiled at him, giving him such a good feeling that he didn't expect.

Ladybug noticed someone flying around and noticed it was Hawks. Based on the way he was looking around made her think that he wasn't akumatized anymore. He spotted them and landed in front of them. Ladybug could tell that he had come from somewhere outside of U.A.

"Whoa! You got Wolfram? That's pretty impressive," Hawks said to them, "He's well known to be pretty strong."

"Yeah well, we took care of it pretty fast," Cat Noir said to him with a cocky smile.

"Cat Noir, I'd say Tenya deserves the credit," Ladybug said back as she elbowed him.

Hawks looked over at Iida and was impressed.

"Good job Iida. I've actually heard of your older brother. He was a very pro hero," Hawks said to him with a smile.

Iida felt a little sad for a moment, but then remembered how good it felt to see him again. He looked at Melissa and smiled.

"Yes. He's doing very well now," Iida said back.

"That's good to hear," Hawks said as he walked over to Wolfram.

He put special quirk cancelling handcuffs on him and got ready to leave.

"I would go check on your friends if I were you. They just took care of a couple akumatized villains," Hawks told them, "They did pretty good considering who it was."

Ladybug felt relieved to hear that their friends were doing okay. Even Iida felt a lot better. Then Ladybug remembered something and went over to Hawks before he could leave.

"Wait Hawks! Did you see Mr. Aizawa anywhere?" Ladybug asked him with a worried look, "He never showed up."

"Yeah, I actually did. I think he's by Class 3-B's dormitory. He looked like he was fighting off akumatized villains that looked like a couple of the League of Villains members," Hawks explained to them, "I'm hoping that you guys can handle them for now. I'll be back with backup if we need it."

Iida's eyes widened in shock to hear that they were involved. He wanted to help them, but his engines needed to be fixed. Melissa walked up to him and placed her hand on his arm.

"Please let me help fix your engine," Melissa said to him, "It doesn't look as bad as I initially thought. I can fix it easily."

Iida was hesitant but knew that fixing it first would help in the long run. Melissa gave Cat Noir her akuma capturing device since she figured that he would need it more than she did. He followed her to the school and let Ladybug and her teammates take care of things.

Soon enough, Hawks left U.A. campus. Ladybug decided to split up her team. Cat Noir goes with Ryuko, Carapace, Pegasus and King Monkey to go help Mr. Aizawa. Ladybug along with Miss Hound, Queen Bee, Purple Tigress and Rooster Bold decided to go help out the rest of Class 1-A. They split up, and Ladybug looked back at Cat Noir. She knew that he could handle it, but she still felt a little nervous.

"Good luck, kitty."

Another amazing chapter!

I really enjoyed writing this chapter! I love how things turned out with the Sludge Villain! It could've been longer, but I don't mind how it turned out! Bakugo and Midoriya have been through a lot together. I really didn't think Bakugo would handle it very well, so I wanted to make this more about Ashido! I wanted to reference when she defeats the Sludge Villain, spoilers! She's such a great character and deserves more love and support! Now I really enjoy Melissa and Iida! I like how things are coming together for them! Something about them are kind of sweet together! The Sludge Villain and Wolfram is defeated!
