Izuku trudged home from school, his feet dragging along the cracked pavement. His bag felt heavier than usual, pulling down on his already slumped shoulders. A faint ache throbbed behind his eyes, and his legs wobbled with every step. He had been feeling like this for a while now—sick, exhausted. Dark circles hung beneath his hollow, dull eyes, his once lively complexion now faded into a sickly pale shade. His skin clung to his bones like a forgotten sheet draped over a ghost. He felt… empty.
'Maybe I should see a doctor,' he thought, his mind sluggish. 'Mom will probably want to come with me…' A chill ran down his spine at the thought of worrying her again. She had been fretting for weeks, watching him with those worried eyes, biting her lip every time she thought he wasn't looking. He knew what she was thinking. He was thinking it too.
Ever since he first transformed into 'her'—Peanut—things had been different. He could feel it in his bones, this growing weakness that sapped away at his energy, leaving him feeling more drained each time he returned to his original form. His body was rebelling against him, as if rejecting the very idea of being itself.
The dark circles under his eyes had deepened, his skin was ashen, his fingers trembled when he wasn't paying attention. 'Maybe transforming into her took something out of me each time.' Maybe that was the price for wielding her immense power. Every time he became Peanut, it was like the exhaustion that should've hit 'her' slammed into 'him' instead. It was like a curse slowly tightening its grip.
But despite it all… Izuku couldn't stop.
'Being Peanut was intoxicating.'
When he was her, he was more than himself. More than human, really. He was 'free.' The chains of sickness, of doubt, of fear—all gone. She was strong, invincible, faster than anything he'd ever imagined. She could lift buildings, bend metal with a thought, race the wind. 'Telekinesis, super strength, durability.' She had it all. The world bent to her will.
And Izuku—no, Peanut—'loved' it.
Sometimes, he would forget to turn back. The rush of power was so overwhelming, so addicting, that it was only his mother's anxious calls reminding him of who he really was that would pull him back to himself. Back to the weak, tired Izuku Midoriya, whose body felt like it was decaying a little more each day.
But not now. Now he was ready to leave all that behind.
He stopped in an alleyway, his breathing shallow, excitement flickering in the dullness of his eyes. He couldn't wait any longer. 'Maybe the doctor can wait…' he thought, a wicked grin spreading across his face. 'I need to practice…'
Izuku glanced around, making sure no one was there. And then, he whispered it—his transformation word.
"Peach."
A ripple of energy coursed through his body, starting from his core and radiating outwards like a shockwave. His clothes shimmered, dissolving into particles of light that swirled around him, wrapping him in a luminous cocoon. The air around him crackled as golden threads wove themselves into the fabric of a frilly, shining dress that seemed to glitter in the fading light. His once pale, gaunt face brightened with an eerie glow, his hollow eyes transforming into vibrant, piercing gems—like starry skies reflecting hidden depths. They swirled with a vibrant purple, glimmering like the eyes of something more than human, something ancient.
His hair grew longer, flowing down in waves, shimmering in a hue of deep purple. His small, trembling hands became strong and steady, his posture straightening with newfound confidence. The transformation was complete.
She stood there, no longer Izuku Midoriya but Peanut.
She giggled, a light, whimsical sound that carried a faint hint of something darker beneath. She twirled, her purple dress spinning around her, the hem brushing her legs like silk. 'So light. So powerful.' The fatigue, the weakness—it was all gone, replaced with an overwhelming sensation of strength, a rush of energy that coursed through her veins.
Peanut stretched her arms, flexing her fingers as if testing their power. She felt 'different'—more alive, more real, more… 'perfect.' Izuku was fragile, bound by human limitations. Peanut was untouchable. Invincible.
She crouched low, her legs coiling with power, and with a burst of energy, she leaped into the air. Golden particles trailed behind her, like fireflies dancing in the dusk. The city below her shrank as she soared higher, her laughter echoing in the air.
Unbeknownst to her, in the shadows of a nearby rooftop, a boy stood frozen, his breath caught in his throat. His dual-colored hair fluttered in the breeze as his eyes locked onto her. He had seen it. Seen 'everything.'
And suddenly, the world around Izuku—no, Peanut—was no longer hers alone.
Peanut froze mid-air, her eyes locking onto him, wide with disbelief. Her heart thudded in her chest, and for a second, everything around her felt silent, oppressive, as if the world had tilted off its axis. The boy with the mismatched hair was staring right at her, his face calm, almost indifferent. She hadn't been alone. He had seen her.
She plummeted down from the sky, landing with a soft thud on the rooftop next to him, her eyes wild and frantic. "You didn't see that! You didn't see that! Tell me you didn't—"
Her voice cracked as she orbited around him, floating in a wide, frantic circle, her glowing purple dress brushing the air. Golden particles flared around her, shimmering as her panic rose, her movements jittery and quick. She darted closer, then back again, her breath hitching.
"Answer me!" she demanded, her voice trembling. "You didn't see that, right?"
The boy didn't flinch, his expression as steady as stone. "Relax," he said calmly, his voice cutting through the tension like ice. "I'm not going to tell anyone about who you are."
Peanut blinked, caught off guard by his response. Then her eyes widened with a sharp realization. "Oh no!" she gasped, backing away from him, her voice rising. "You want to take advantage of me, don't you?!"
The boy shook his head, his expression unfazed.
Peanut let out a deep sigh of relief, placing a hand dramatically on her chest. "Thank God—" Then she stopped, her face twisting in sudden horror. "Wait… Huh? What are you doing on the rooftop of this abandoned building? In an alley, no less?"
Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, scanning his face for any sign of deception. His gaze met hers, cold and unyielding, and for a moment, the air around them felt heavy, ominous.
"Were you… following me?" she asked, her voice hushed, as if afraid of the answer.
"Indeed," he replied simply, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Her mouth dropped open. "What?! Why? Are you some kind of stalker?!"
He sighed, rubbing his temple like he was already tired of this conversation. "I would like to talk to you," he said, his tone patient but firm.
Peanut crossed her arms, floating closer, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized him. "Okay… I'm listening," she said, her voice edged with suspicion.
"I'd like to talk to you," he repeated, his gaze piercing, "the real you."
Peanut pouted, puffing out her cheeks. "I am the real me," she shot back defensively.
He raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Are you sure you're not just an alter ego?"
Peanut opened her mouth, ready to argue, but then closed it, her expression faltering. She let out an exasperated sigh, glaring at him with annoyance. "Fine!" she spat, her voice sharp. "Peach."
In an instant, her bright, shining form vanished, and Izuku Midoriya collapsed onto the rooftop, his legs giving out beneath him. He landed awkwardly, scratching his butt on the hard concrete. "Ouch…" he mumbled, wincing as he looked up at the boy with a sheepish grin. "Uh… hello."
The boy remained standing, his gaze steady as he spoke. "Izuku Midoriya," he said coolly. "My name is Shoto Todoroki… and I also have a Shōjotrix."
Silence stretched between them, thick and heavy.
Izuku blinked, confused. "Umm… a what?"
Without a word, Shoto raised his arm, revealing a bracelet on his wrist, simple yet striking. At its center was a gleaming white stone, shimmering faintly as if it held a world of its own within. "This," Shoto said, his voice low, "is a Shōjotrix."
Izuku squinted, tilting his head. "Okay…?"
Before he could process the explanation, Shoto slipped the bracelet onto his wrist. Instantly, his entire appearance changed. His once dual-colored hair turned a pure, snow-white, glowing faintly under the dim light of the setting sun. His eyes, no longer heterochromatic, now gleamed with a neon-colored star shape, surrounded by an eerie white. His presence felt… otherworldly.
"Whoa…" Izuku breathed, taking a cautious step back. He could feel the overwhelming power radiating from Shoto. It was as if the air itself had grown colder around him.
Without warning, Shoto raised his hand, and in a flash of icy blue light, an ice sword materialized in his grasp, shimmering and cold. The blade hummed with energy as Shoto swung it effortlessly, sending waves of frost in every direction, coating the rooftop in a thin layer of ice.
Izuku's eyes widened in awe. "That's… amazing," he whispered, completely mesmerized.
Shoto gave him a small, tight-lipped smile before removing the bracelet. In an instant, the sword vanished, his hair returned to its usual color, and the strange glow in his eyes faded. He gasped for breath, stumbling slightly, his hand on his chest as he struggled to stand.
"Are you okay?!" Izuku rushed forward, panic rising in his voice.
Shoto waved him off, still catching his breath. "I should be asking you that question," he said, his voice sharp despite his exhaustion.
"Huh?" Izuku's brow furrowed in confusion.
"I've been watching you," Shoto said, his tone more serious now. "For some time, actually. You appear mostly in Mustafu, near Aldera Middle School. The number of times you've used that power… it's not wise."
Izuku blinked. "I don't… follow."
Shoto sighed, his breath fogging in the cold air. "I've always wanted to become a hero," he began, his voice quieter now, as if speaking to himself. "To use my firepower to show my dad I didn't need him. But… I couldn't. Not with just half my power. So, one day, I met a man. He gave me this bracelet. It amplifies my ice power… to astronomical levels. It suppresses my fire. And now… I'm stronger than my father. Stronger than Endeavor."
Izuku's mouth dropped open. "You're Endeavor's son?!"
Shoto gave a small nod. "Yes. But the bracelet… it comes with a price. Using it too much… you start losing yourself. You can't transform back without sheer willpower. Your original form crumbles."
He fixed Izuku with a hard stare. "You need to stop using yours."
Izuku blinked, his heart pounding in his chest. "I-I don't have one."
Shoto's expression darkened. "That's impossible. I can feel it. It's the same energy. You must have one."
Izuku shook his head, confused. "I don't, I swear."
Shoto narrowed his eyes. "Then don't tell me it… merged with you."
Izuku froze. A memory flickered in his mind—a few weeks ago, he had found a strange bracelet. But after picking it up… it had disappeared. And not long after that, that was when the powers started.
"Could it be…" Izuku muttered under his breath.
Shoto's eyes widened. "It appears so—"
Suddenly, a deafening explosion shook the ground beneath them. Both boys instinctively jumped back, their eyes scanning the horizon.
Izuku's heart raced as he spotted the plume of smoke rising in the distance. His voice was barely a whisper as he spoke. "It's the Rakshas… they're back." He clenched his fists. "Peach."
In an instant, Izuku transformed again, his small, frail body replaced by the shimmering, invincible form of Peanut. Her purple hair flared, her eyes twinkling with mischief. She smiled wildly, excitement bubbling in her chest. "Oh yeah! It's hero time!"
"Stop!" Shoto shouted, but she was already flying away, golden particles swirling in her wake.
"The world needs Peanut, not Izuku," she called back, her laughter echoing through the night air.
Û~Û
The air was thick with the smell of smoke and panic. People screamed, their voices shrill and desperate as they scattered through the market, fleeing from the hulking figure that towered over the chaos. The Rakshas—an abomination of flesh and dark energy—loomed menacingly, its clawed hand wrapped tightly around a small boy. The creature's body pulsed with an eerie, black glow, siphoning the boy's quirk power, draining the life out of him.
The boy's voice was weak, barely a whisper as his body went limp. "H-help… me…"
His eyelids fluttered, on the verge of losing consciousness, his small hands trembling as the energy left his body.
But before the boy's world could go dark, a sudden flash of purple streaked across the sky, moving faster than the human eye could track. In an instant, the boy was gone from the Rakshas' grasp, ripped away by the blur of motion. A sharp crack echoed through the market as the Rakshas staggered backward, a fierce kick landing against its chest.
"I am here!" a voice rang out, cutting through the panic like a beacon of hope.
Peanut stood tall, cradling the boy gently in her arms, her golden dress shimmering with light as she hovered just above the ground. Her eyes, wide and star-shaped, glowed with fierce determination. She smiled down at the child, her voice soft and reassuring. "You're safe now," she whispered.
The market erupted into cheers.
"It's Vigilant Peanut!"
"We're saved!"
"Thank God!"
The voices of the terrified crowd surged with hope, as if a dark cloud had been lifted. But Peanut's attention was already elsewhere. Her gaze sharpened, locking onto the Rakshas that had recovered from the blow, its eyes burning with rage. Its twisted mouth snarled, and it lunged toward her, faster than expected, claws extended.
Peanut's heart raced. She gently placed the boy behind a nearby overturned stall, ensuring he was safe before she shot into the air, meeting the Rakshas head-on.
"Let's do this," she muttered under her breath, her eyes blazing as her body surged with power.
The Rakshas moved with terrifying speed, its massive form crashing through stalls and buildings as it charged at her. But Peanut was faster. With a swift movement, she dodged its first strike, her frilly frock swirling around her like a blur of light. Her fist shot forward, landing a direct hit to the creature's chest, sending a shockwave through the air. The Rakshas growled in pain, but it wasn't done yet.
It retaliated, swinging a massive claw toward her. Peanut spun mid-air, narrowly avoiding the deadly strike. She could feel the cold wind of its claws brush against her skin, but she didn't slow down.
"I've fought stronger than you!" she taunted, her voice steady, though her heart pounded in her chest.
The Rakshas was fast. Faster than it looked. And intelligent, too. It feinted a swipe with one arm while the other swung low, aiming for her legs. Peanut barely had time to react, raising a shimmering barrier of energy just in time to block the hit. The force sent her skidding backward in the air, but she quickly recovered, eyes flashing.
"Nice try," she smirked, her hand glowing with a bright, golden energy.
With a flick of her wrist, she sent a powerful blast of telekinetic force directly into the Rakshas. The impact sent it flying into a nearby building, shattering brick and concrete as it crashed through the wall. Dust and debris clouded the air, but Peanut didn't let up. She flew after it, faster than a bullet, her energy blasts lighting up the sky like fireworks.
The Rakshas roared in frustration, slashing wildly as it tried to keep up with her. But Peanut was relentless, darting in and out of its range, her fists glowing with power as she landed hit after hit. Each punch felt like lightning, and each blast sent shockwaves through the air.
"You're tough," she admitted, her voice low as she circled around the creature. "But I'm tougher."
The Rakshas snarled, lunging toward her again, but Peanut was ready. With a burst of speed, she shot into the sky, raising her hands above her head. Energy crackled in the air around her, swirling into a bright, golden orb.
"Let's see if you can handle this," she said, her voice calm and almost… amused.
With a sharp cry, she hurled the energy blast toward the Rakshas. The orb hit the creature dead center, and for a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath. The Rakshas let out one final, agonized scream as the energy consumed it, its body disintegrating into ash and dust, scattering into the wind.
Peanut blinked, her breath catching in her throat. Even Endeavor hadn't been able to defeat one of these things. Did that mean she was… stronger than the #2 hero?
Before she could fully process the thought, the crowd erupted into cheers once more.
"She did it!"
"She beat the Rakshas!"
"She's amazing!"
If it had been Izuku standing there, he would've blushed, stammered, and probably run away. But Peanut wasn't Izuku. She was confident. Invincible. She turned toward the reporters rushing toward her, smiling widely as the cameras flashed in her face.
"Peanut, how did you defeat it?!"
"You defeated a Rakshas! So is it true you're stronger than Endeavor now?!"
"What does this mean for the future of hero society?"
Peanut giggled, tossing her hair over her shoulder as she floated above them. "Oh, you know," she said casually, her voice light. "It's just another day for the Vigilant Peanut. I do what I have to do." She winked at the camera, enjoying the attention as she soaked in the praise.
With that, she shot into the sky, disappearing into the clouds before anyone could ask more questions. The cheers of the crowd echoed in the distance as she flew off, her heart racing with the thrill of it all.
But far away, beyond the earth's atmosphere, something dark stirred in the cold, endless void of space. Inside a massive, sleek spaceship, the Rakshas—those still left—gathered around a central command post. Their voices buzzed in an alien language, their bodies moving with unnerving precision.
One of them, larger and more menacing than the rest, stepped forward, its voice low and mechanical as it addressed the others. "We have located one of them. The locals call its wielder… 'Peanut.'"
Another Rakshas, its body adorned with strange armor, nodded solemnly. "Send San Gi to retrieve it."
Author's Note:
Alright, folks, so as you can tell, we've entered full-on AU territory with this story. Things are a bit different here. There are some brand-new antagonists in the mix—don't worry, AFO, Shigaraki, and the League are still around, but we've got some new players on the field.
You might notice some 'Ben 10' or 'Omniverse' vibes here and there, and yep, that's on purpose. I've drawn some inspiration from those universes, so expect some unique twists and turns along the way.
Now, let me introduce you to the 'Rakshas'. They're not your average villains. Here's the breakdown:
-Yon: These are the foot soldiers. The ones Endeavor and Peanut have been fighting so far. They're the grunts, but their strength lies in sheer numbers.
-San: Captains. These guys are a step up—smarter, stronger, and way more dangerous than your average Yon.
-Nin: Commanders. Think of them as the brains behind the operation. One Nin can outmatch several captains combined.
-Ich: The King. Only one exists. The absolute strongest Raksha, and you can bet the day we meet him will be the day.
So, who exactly are the Rakshas? What's their endgame? Well, that's something we'll explore as the story unfolds. Stay tuned because things are only going to get more intense from here.
A question: In the 'Document Manager', it says my 200 document limit is finished. They are telling me to delete some documents. But I have almost no unnecessary documents. Thus, how will deleting an already used document effect the story? Do tell please.
Till next time!
