After about half an hour of walking and asking for directions, Yuta finally reached his destination. A tall building stood in front of him beside its entrance doors stood the word 'Leaf Village Library' in big bold letters.
Yuta had a few reasons for coming here the first was he needed a few books for his ninja academy but the most important reason was that he needed to check the history of this world he needed to make sure that he wasnt in a parallel Naruto dimension were things were different.
Discarding his thoughts Yuta went inside the library The moment he went inside a notification appeared.
[You Have found the leaf village library]
[Quest Progression. 12/100]
Dismissing the notification he observed the place
The Leaf Village Library in Konoha had almost the most number of books in the whole world Yuta who was visiting the library for the first time was stunned.
Rows of shelves were tightly connected, and each book contained as many as thousands of books on a variety of subjects it was far more spectacular than any libraries he had visited in his previous life.
The building had three floors there were several tables and chairs and saw a few people reading or taking notes perhaps it was because it was early in the morning, but there were not many people in the library.
At the front of the library, there was an old lady sitting behind a desk reading a book.
As the library had several sections dedicated to many subjects, Yuta decided to ask the librarian about the location of the history books. She pointed to a shelf in the corner and resumed her reading.
Yuta came upon a small shelf filled with books of various sizes. He looked at the titles of each book. After a minute he took several books, went to a nearby table, and started reading.
He found a book that depicted the founding of the village and the different clans that joined shortly after.
Although there was some information that Yuta knew from his past life that was not included in the book, there was some that he didn't know. But they were mostly common knowledge and unimportant.
Soon there was only the sound of pages flipping.
He read through several books as the hours passed by. From the First World War to the Third World War and to the nine tails attack. He also read about the several clans that reside in the village. After reading all the books he found interesting, he had an understanding of the time period he was in and a solid knowledge of the leaf village.
'There don't seem to be any major changes to the story. The history is the same as the one in the story. So everything is the same until now but since I'm not supposed to be in the time the changes should start to take place from this point forward. But I don't plan on doing anything big so the timeline should stay relatively the same. Right now my biggest advantage is my future knowledge.'
'According to these books, the leaf village was formed around 70 years ago. And the Ninetails attack was 10 years ago.
After reading that Yuta found a few books on the academy three jutsu, usually civilians aren't allowed to see these books but since he was an academy student he had access to them.
It just goes to show that being a shinobi you get quite a few perks.
Time flew by
He took a look at the clock. 'It's 12 o'clock. I've spent almost 5 hours here. Time to go.'
As he started sorting the books back in their places he thought about what he should do next.
'I Need to complete the quest 'Explore the village' as soon as possible. I'm starting to feel a little hungry. I'll head to Ichiraku Ramen first. I need to know how the ramen tastes there.'
'And I can't waste time blindly going around I need a map.'
After getting a map from the old lady Yuta took the map and left the library. There were several locations marked on the map. Location of clan compounds, famous landmarks, historical and important buildings, and famous shops. His first stop. Ichiraku Ramen.
Looking at the map he had a good idea of where he was and following the directions marked in the map it didn't take him too long to reach the place. In front of him stood a small unassuming store but it's one of the most iconic places in this world.
