Chapter 27 Pride's Lobby

Dante, Nero, Lady, and Trish made their way to the tallest building in the city and entered the lobby. Dozens of Hell Prides sprung up and surrounded the group. Then there was some loud stomping as a human turned demon marched onto the scene. The newcomer was a very muscular woman wearing jean shorts, a pink bikini top, and white vest. She had two sharp horns on her head and carried a large barbell with weights and spikes at the end.
"Welcome to Pride Tower. The names Jherii Gallo. I'm a loyal servant to the great Lady Pride." Said the woman.
"So you going to stop us?" Asked Nero expecting a fight.
"No the ones with the blood of Sparda may continue on to the top of the tower, but the others have to stay here." Said Jherii.
Dante and Nero looked back at Trish and Lady.
"You two go on ahead. Will be fine." Said Lady.
"We can handle Jherii and her little gang." Said Trish.
"Alright y'all have fun then." Said Dante.
Jherii and the Hell Prides stepped aside and let Dante and Nero enter a elevator. The elevator doors closed and the elevator went up. Jherii and the Hell Prides turned to Lady and Trish.
"So which one of you skinny girls wants to die first? I'll gladly take you both on if you wish. Might give me a challenge." Said Jherii with a cruel smirk.
"I'll take you on gym rat." Said Trish as she cracked her knuckles.
"Oh this is going to be good." Said Jherii before she and the Hell Prides charged forward.
Lady pulled out her guns and began blasting the Hell Prides as she dodged their attacks. Jherii rushed at Trish swinging her barbells at the hunter. Trish dodged the swings and delivered a dozen quick jabs to Jherii's chest. Jherii just laughed and looked unfazed by the attacks, before she backhanded Trish knocking her into a pillar. Trish grunted as she hit the pillar and Jherii rushed at her swinging her barbell. The hunter ducked and the barbell struck the pillar taking a huge chunk out of it. Trish delivered a powerful spinning kick to the back of Jherii's left leg making the bodybuilder cry out in pain as she was forced to take a knee. Trish quickly rushed forward and delivered a few powerful punches to Jherii's face busting her lip in the process. Jherii quickly struck at with a barbell swing forcing her to retreat.
"Not bad." Said Jherii as she spat out a glob of blood and got back to her feet.
"I'm just getting started." Said Trish before firing a blast of lightning at Jherii.
Jherii dodged the attack and rushed at Trish. The Hunter fired another blast and struck the barbell forcing Jherii to let go of it as she got shocked, but she still kept rushing forward. Jherii slammed into Trish smashing her through a pillar and into a wall pinning her to it. The bodybuilder cackled with glee as she pressed Trish up against the wall causing cracks to spread along it. Then she let out a startled cry of pain as Lady shot her in the back with her shotgun forcing Jherii to let go of Trish. Jherii spun around to face Lady and charged at her. Lady pulled out her machine gun and fired at Jherii hitting her and creating multiple scars that bled, but Jherii continued to charge forward like a juggernaut. Just when Jherii was a few feet away Lady pulled out a flash bang grenade and tossed it at Jherii. The device exploded creating a bright light that blinded Jherii who reeled back blindly.
Trish recovered and charged at Jherii slamming her right knee into her chin followed by a few punches and kicks that sent Jherii stumbling back. Jherii let out a growl and grabbed Trish in a bearhug and began squeezing hard making Trish gasp in pain.
"I'm going to snap your spine!" Declared Jherii.
Trish gritted her teeth before she let out a massive electrical shock that made Jherii scream in pain and let Trish go. Jherii reeled back in pain her body smoking and spasming as Trish fired a blast of lightning and Lady fired a rocket from her rocket launcher. Both attacks struck Jherii and there was a bright flash and explosion. When the light cleared it revealed the smoking and completely burnt form of Jherii's dead body on the ground.
"One down." Said Trish.
"Now all we have to do is wait for Dante and Nero to take Pride down." Said Lady.
The two women found a couple of chairs to sit and rest as they waited for the men to return.
