Author Notes - Well, judging from the feedback, last chapter was one of the best in the while, I'm glad to return to my proper writing style because admittedly, it did feel as though I phoned in Up the Creek - If You cant Take the Heat. But lets get back into it!

1wortl23 - Yeah, this was always the plan that the tension really begins to heat up on both teams as we reach the merge, and whilst I cant say anything about the ship, I can say the heat is not stopping :)

O.D25 - Thank you! I did think afterwards that MK kissing Cody on the cheek might be a little OOC for her, but in retrospect I think that type of subtlety works very well for MK. In terms of how I came up with it? After I wrote the little gag for them the Big Sleep, I initially planned it to just be insanely awkward for them both, cause humour, but I honestly just ran with it and we ended up here, was not in any of my original draft plans whatsoever, but I'm happy with what we got!

WarriorTwin - Glad you also enjoyed the MK and Cody moments, and if you really think I'd potentially axe very prominent protagonists right before we reach the merge, then you'd be 100% right cause it sounds like something I may or may not be doing :) Also curious if the characters you listed are the ones you're enjoying the most in the story so far?

TheStoryTeller 993 - Yeah, Julia survived the elimination. I guess in the overall thing, Julia is probably a better antagonist, but Scott will always have a nice humorous touch to him I enjoy.

Remaining Campers:

Screaming Gophers: Cody, Scott, Zee, Damien, Priya, Zoey

Killer Bass: Chase, Dave, Courtney, Julia, Dawn, Eva

"Last time on Total Drama Island..." Chris began from the dock, "The teams were given three challenges that tested their trust in their teammates. The rock climbing challenge showed just how high Dave could go in more ways then one, and Zee got the bad end of a blowfish, courtesy of a semi blind Damien. Cody came through when his team needed him most, and finally told MK how he feels, touching moment, good times. Stay tuned for the most dramatic bonfire ceremony yet on Total...Drama...Island!"

(Theme Song Plays)

(Fade to Episode)

The episode opens to the cabins, as Cody sits down dejected on the Gopher's porch. He's surrounded by Zee and Zoey, the former leaning up against the banner, and the latter on the porch next to him, hand on his shoulder.

"Oh, it'll be okay Cody, at least you managed to tell her how you feel." Zoey told him, with a slight smile, as the Geek sighed.

"Yeah, I guess, just a shame she's gone already, y'know? I can't believe her team voted her off like that."

"Same dude, I really thought Chase would finally bite the dust." Zee added.

"I'd offer to do your fortune, but I haven't been able to find my tarot cards." Zoey informed.

"You too? My soda collection disappeared." Zee shrugged.

The three were interrupted by the sudden loudspeaker feedback. "Listen up you little cockroaches! I want all campers to report to the Dock of Shame at 0900 Hours!" The voice instructed.

The camera cut back to the cabins, showing Zee, Cody, Zee, Dave, Chase and Julia looking at their respective teammates in confusion.

"That means now, soldiers, now!" The voice instructed again, as the campers began to jog there

"Oh no, you don't think Chef is running today's challenge?" Dave asked Chase, as the pair made their way.

"I'll take him over Chris any-day, besides, my thumb's all good now so we're definitely winning." The Prankster said with a confident smile.

"Oh yeah, besides, it's not like even you'd be crazy enough to try your usual shtick on Chef anyway." Dave said, before stopping and widening eyes, looking back at Chase. Chase looked at him with a smile, as Dave looked with concern, the two stayed like that in silence for a moment.

"Don't say i-" Before Dave could finish Chase appeared into the shot and bopped Dave on the nose.

"I accept your challenge!" Chase continued on, before Dave could stop him.

Dave sighed, before muttering "What have I done..." as the two continued.

The camera flashed to show the contestants at the Dock of Shame in a line, as Chef stood to the side in a summer drill sergeant outfit, holding a megaphone. "Line up and stand at attention." He instructed, as he began walking down the line. "You call this proper formation?" He rhetorically asked, pulling out a wooden pointer. "Feet together! Arms down! Eyes forward! Chin up!" He called out each command, slapping Chase's legs, as he proceeded to straighten them, Scott's arms, forcing him to lower them to his side, Courtney forcing her eyes forward, and then Chef using the pointer stick to force Zoey's chin up before finally inflicting several slaps to Cody who seemed to be out of attention all together.

"I feel like we're in for a long day." Julia whispered to Priya, before Chef appeared in the shot.

"What did you say to me soldier!?" He screamed into the megaphone, causing both girls hair to blow backwards.

"Erm, nothing sir!" Julia quickly readjusted herself.

"And you will continue to say nothing, until I tell you that you can say something!" He yelled into the megaphone again, as their hair blew back again. "My orders are to make sure all the babies in front of me drop outta my boot camp except for one. The last one standing wins immunity for their team." He turned his back to them, walking towards the end of the dock as he informed them of this. "In fact," He turned back to face them. "I do not expect everyone to come out alive.

Dave chuckled at this, "You're kidding right?" He was answered with a whack from the pointer to the back, yelling in pain.

"Where did Chris go anyway?" Scott asked.

"Rule number one!" Chef said, ignoring him completely. "You will address me as Master Chief! Have you got that?"

"Yes Master Chief!" The campers replied.

xxx

"Ha." Cody smirked. "Sam would've loved that."

xxx

"You will sleep when I tell you to sleep, and eat only when I tell you to eat! Is that clear?" He walked towards Dawn, saying the last line directly in her face.

"Um, yes Master Chief!" The Moonchild said, saluting.

"Rule number two, when you are ready to give up, you will report to the dock and ring the bell." He pointed towards the other side of the dock, as a bell was placed there and stood up. "Which brings me to rule number three. I like to get one quitter before the end of the first day, and that day will not end until someone drops out. Now get your butts down to the beach soldiers! Now! Now! Now!"

xxx

"Leaving this psycho in charge of all of us?" Scott looked at the camera, a hand to his chin. "Gotta admit, mildly impressed." He finished with a smile.

xxx

"Listen up." Chef instructed as the scene returned to the beach, "Each team will hold a canoe over their heads, I catch you with your hands off the canoe and you will be eliminated. And no one eats lunch until someone drops out. Canoe's up!" Both teams scrambled into place, lifting their canoes above them.

"This isn't even that hard." Scott snorted.

"We got this, easy." Priya added.

The camera flashed, showing that the sun was shining down very hard on the beach, before cutting down to both teams still having their canoes up. Close up shots of Courtney beginning to struggle, and Zee's stomach rumbling played.

"Come on you sissys! It's only been three hours!" Chef called out.

"Guess they missed lunch today." Chris added.

"Mhm, I guess they just weren't hungry!" Chef added, from sitting on top of the Bass canoe, next to Chris who was sitting on the Gopher canoe.

Chase's stomach rumbled, and he looked up briefly.

"Don't even think about it Chase." Eva hissed at him.

The camera flashed once more, revealing it was now night time. It panned down, to the campers still holding their canoes up. "Twenty-five of us went into the jungle that night...Only five came back out..." Chef continued his story, now sitting down on a deck chair.

"What was this anyway?" Damien questioned. "Vietnam or what?"

"Did I ask you to speak? Because I don't remember asking you to speak!" Damien rolled his eyes in response.

"Dudes...I'm pooped out here." Zee said, in a relaxed tone taking his hands off the canoe, and making his way to the dock.

"Looks like we got ourselves a quitter." Chef happily said, as Zee passed him.

"Zee, no don't!" Cody called out, but as he did Zee hit the bell with his head, the Gophers groaned, dropping the canoe as the Bass smiled, throwing theirs to the side.

"Listen here." Chris put a hand on Zee's shoulder, as a relaxing piano tune played. "You have nothing to be ashamed of. Except being a little baby that let your team down! As for the rest of you, report to the mess hall. Dinner is served." Chef pulled out a megaphone, addressing Zee catching him by surprise, then the other campers.

"Never thought I'd be happy to hear that." Dave said in relief.

The camera flashed, to the mess hall, still at night time. "All right maggots, open your ears. You've got ten minutes to eat before night training begins so get to it." The Bass members, except for Dawn and Eva groaned and voiced complaints in the prospect of more training.

"Um, Master Chief." Priya raised her hand, "Where exactly is the food?"

"You're looking at it." Chef pointed towards three garbage bins, which Cody then opened.

"This is just the garbage from breakfast!" He complained.

"Darn right, when you're at war you take what you can get." Chef simply reasoned. Cody dug into the trash, a grossed out expression on his face, before pulling out half an apple and walking back to the table.

"Well, I can see you've got this under control." Chris said to his co-host. "I'm off to craft services, you coming?"

"Serve me up some of that." Chef said, following him.

"Okay, this is where I draw the line." Damien said, throwing his tray to the side.

"I'm inclined to agree." Courtney said, crossing her arms.

"What's wrong, too good to eat half a slice of toast?" Scott joked as he walked past The A Type, his voice muffled from the food in his mouth.

"I plan on running for office one day, and there is no way someone is going to pull up a photo of me eating garbage." Courtney reasoned, her arms still crossed.

"Yeah, cause they already have the one of you in the chicken hat with pink eye." Chase mused, with a smirk on his face.

"Oh shut up!" Courtney hissed at him, who still had his smile on his face.

The camera cut to the Gopher table as Scott now sat down, eyeing a Zoey and Priya who were talking amongst themselves.

xxx

"The second stage of my plan is all good to go, I've been taking a bunch of stuff from everyone on the island, and the moment we lose it's all set and ready to be mysteriously found under Zoey's bed." Scott chuckled, saying the last part.

xxx

The scene returned to a boombox blasting music, then to Chef on a smaller stage, leading a make shift thriller dance, that the campers except for Zee were all participating in. As Chef got to the hip thrusts, a hand stopped the music, and the contestants sighed in relief.

Chef suddenly glared to the side, as the camera cut to Chase standing by the boombox.

"You think we can change up the music? How about something a little more rock? Less old man." The Prankster asked innocently.

"We change the music when I say we change the music! Now drop and give me twenty!" Chef growled at the boy.

"Yes sir, Master Chief!" Chase saluted, before blowing on his whistle and dropping down.

"Make. It. Forty." He hissed at his words.

The camera cut to the Bass who looked relatively confused. "Seriously, what is Chase doing?" Courtney asked Dave.

"You don't want to know." He sighed.

xxx

"Wow, and I thought I would be the only one sabotaging my team." Scott scoffed.

xxx

"Anything else got anything else they want to say?" Chef asked, the camera cutting back to him.

"Yeah, can I go to the bathroom please?" Julia asked.

The camera flashed to Julia in rubber gloves, holding a mop next to a bucket in the bathroom.

"Figured I should've kept my mouth shut." The Influencer muttered.

The camera flashed once more, back to the mess hall. All eleven of the campers still in, sat in their respective teams facing Chef at the front. "For your next challenge, you will complete a three-hundred word essay about how much you love me. Anyone who falls asleep or fails to complete the challenge, will be eliminated!"

The camera flashed to the clock, showing almost an hour had passed as it was five to one, then a crossfade showing it was now three in the morning, as a buzzer went off.

Priya looked at her papers, with bags under her eyes, as Eva and Julia were in the background also with bags. Chef took the papers from Cody, who was still writing, before he put his head on the table, then going to the other side grabbing Chase's, who had a smug look even with the bags under his eyes.

"I, Chase, adore Master Chef Hatchet, because he is very very very very very..." Chef's smile dropped off the face as he looked at all the pages with the word very on them until the last one, which read 'great'.

"This is just one sentence with five pages of very." Chef narrowed his eyes at the Prankster.

"Three hundred words, sir." Chase replied, keeping his smug expression.

"Hmm, well played." Chef smirked, before wiping the slight smile off his face once more, and slamming the desk. "You two slackers, are out." He pointed towards the asleep Cody and Dave, neither of which opened their eyes. "The rest of you get to bed, and report to the playing field at 0500 hours."

"And the playing field is where exactly, General?" Chase asked.

"Boy, do you want to run fifty laps before I allow you to sleep!?" Chef growled.

"No, we're taking him straight to bed!" Courtney said, chiming in and pushing Chase out of the mess hall, smiling back at Chef.

xxx

"Okay, so I got him to smile a little at least, but come on! Even Chef has to be able to laugh right?" Chase asked the confessional

xxx

The scene returned to early morning, as the remaining 9 campers stood by an obstacle course. "You will all run this course, until you can complete it in under one minute. Am I making myself clear?" Chef specifically looked at Chase, when he was saying the last part.

"Yes, sir." Chase simply smiled.

"You better not lose this for us." Courtney aggressively whispered at him.

"Go, maggots, go!" The girl was surprised by Chef's sudden command, as they all began to scramble towards the course.

The camera cut to them running through the mud, as Damien struggled to get over the big wooden wall, that Zoey, Priya and Eva got past with ease. Julia and Courtney very easily manoeuvred their way through the tires, as Scott hit the top of the tire, and Chef smiled at his pain, as he rubbed the temple of his head. Dawn and Damien were very nervously making their way crawling through the mud, narrowly avoiding the swinging axes. "Okay how is this allowed?" Damien questioned, as he continued crawling.

Zoey and Priya nervously looked back, as they took the rope across the small platform to the other side, continuing running forward. The camera then cut back to the wood wall, as Dawn made her second attempt, but falling into the mud. She stood up, and began coughing up mud.

"Yo, Master Chief, we got a problem over here." Chase said, looking back at noticing Dawn, as Julia and Zoey stopped to watch.

"No, friends, I'm okay." Dawn said, as she continued coughing in between words.

"Ring the bell and report to the infirmary, your tour of duty is finished." Chef easily picked up the girl and turned her to the other side, as she walked on, still coughing off camera.

"Well, down to four I guess." Julia said to Chase.

"Back on the course soldiers, now!" Chef yelled, as Julia began running whilst Chase stayed in place. "One false move, and I'll be on you like stink on a poop wagon!" He threatened, pointing at Chase's chest.

"I can't wait for it, sir!" Chase saluted, before running back to the course.

A fast montage of the contestants continuously running through the course, noticeably struggling as times continued. The clips finished with Damien crawling through the mud under the axes, before starting to sink in the mud. "Seriously? Again!?" He began to try and pull himself out.

"See you on the other side, soldier." Chase joked, as he continued, before crawling into Chef's boots.

"You just bought yourself thirty more push ups." Chef informed.

"Alright, thank you sir!" Chase jokingly responded, grabbing Chef's hat and not noticing his growing anger.

"Yeah...you might've pushed him too far dude." Damien suddenly walked into the shot, covered in mud, as Chase just nodded, gulping.

"One night solitary confinement. In the boathouse." Chef calmly told him, as the contestants gasped.

"Big deal?" Chase waved his hand in front of his face, looking unamused. "How bad can it be?"

The camera flashed to show Chase sitting along in the boathouse, surrounded by hooks, bait, and other miscellaneous things.

"Should've kept my dumb mouth shut..." Chase muttered to himself.

The camera flashed one more, to the mess hall which Dave, Cody and Zee all sat in, looking at their bowls of disgusting food, as the other campers walked in.

"Hey dudes." Zee greeted.

"So, who dropped out this time?" Dave asked a Courtney who sat down next to him.

"Dawn got sent to the infirmary, Chase got sent to the boathouse, and Scott wimped out of the course, so there's only six of us left." Courtney sighed.

"The boathouse? I guess Chase failed the challenge." Dave mused.

"Seriously? What was his goal anyway, he knew it was only going to annoy him." Courtney eye rolled, and crossed her arms.

"True, but I guess it must've been pretty fun being able to relax and enjoy yourself like that. Beats the alternative of going crazy out here."

"I guess...you're right, but that's not something I can do. Guess that makes me an uptight loser, huh?" Courtney looked to the side, half annoyed, half upset.

"Hmm, well there is one way we can solve that." Dave suddenly put his hand to his chin, before smiling. "Come on, follow me."

Courtney raised an eyebrow, before getting up and following Dave.

The camera flashed to the craft services tent, where the pair were sneakily making their way to the outside of the tent.

"Okay, what are we doing here?" Courtney whispered to Dave.

"Remember when they left to go eat here earlier? They're definitely hiding the good food here, just follow my lead." Dave instructed. He grabbed a stone, and threw it at a nearby animal, causing it to squeal and run around. "Don't tell Dawn I did that." He suddenly asked, with a nervous smile.

"What was that?" Chris asked, suddenly leaving the tent as Chef followed.

"Beats me." The Cook muttered.

The pair suddenly went into the tent, and by the fridge. "Okay, grab whatever looks good, and let's get out of here." Dave instructed, as they grabbed sandwiches, sodas, and other delicious treats into their hands, before running out of the tent into the night, as Courtney laughed the whole way.

xxx

"Okay that, was one of the most fun things I've ever done in a while!" Courtney laughed, raising her arms in excitement. "I never thought Dave had something like that in him." Courtney added, getting a little flustered.

xxx

The scene returned to the Bass cabin, all the campers were on the girls side enjoying the food.

"Seriously man, what a great find!" Zee chuckled, sat with Chase and Julia.

"Weren't you in solitary?" Julia suddenly asked Chase.

"Yep." Chase said, as Julia eye rolled at the lack of answers to her question, before Chase suddenly downed a bag of potato chips.

"Man, that is so good." Chase hit the ground, in a relaxed state.

"Okay, seriously, what war was he even in?" Priya asked, as she sat with Eva, Dawn, Cody, Damien and Zoey.

"Does he have any story where he's not entering a jungle?" Cody asked, earning a laugh from the others.

"It's nice to see you joining us Eva." Dawn suddenly said to the girl, the camera cutting to just the two of them.

"Better to keep my energy up going into the next challenge." The Tough Girl reasoned.

"True, but you're also opening up to us more, your aura is turning a lovely colour."

"Ummm...thanks?" Eva raised an eyebrow, unaware of Dawn's innocent smile.

xxx

"Don't get it wrong, my eye is still very much on the prize here." Eva crossed her arms in the confessional. "But I guess my teammates aren't as annoying as they first appeared..."

xxx

"Okay, I think you've had enough." The camera returned to Courtney grabbing another ice-cream sandwich, as Zoey grabbed her hand.

"Oh, no, no, just one more!" Courtney overexcitedly said, stuffing it into her mouth. She enjoyed it for a moment, before her eyes widened and she ran outside.

"I tried to warn her." Zoey innocently said, looking back at her group.

The camera cut to the outside, as Courtney was throwing up, leaning over the banister.

"Guess you had a bit too much, huh?" Dave said, walking outside, sipping a soda.

"That was so gross." Courtney said, not making eye contact. "But its like, once I did something that fun, I just wanted to do more!" She suddenly got up, and excitedly looked up at Dave.

"Ha, well I didn't think you had it in you."

"I could say the same for you, what happened to the Dave of the first few days here?"

Dave sighed, before looking up. "My parents are both in the medical field, hence the germ thing. Growing up I had a friend who was kind of like we just we're today, it was a lot of fun before he moved away. Then I just kinda resorted back to...this, I guess its why even though someone like Chase annoys me, he's kind of fun at the same time." Dave suddenly looked off at the banister.

"Yeah, I can get that. For what it's worth, I think both sides of you are great." Courtney joined him at the banister, before leaning on his shoulder slightly. She Dave suddenly look at her, Courtney looked up at him, before grabbing him and kissing him.

"I'm still focused on winning though." She told him.

"I wouldn't expect anything less." Dave simply replied, before they kissed once more.

xxx

"I'm torn between the fact I just kissed Courtney, and trying to forget that Courtney threw up moments before that...I'll just brush my teeth for an extra few minutes tonight." Dave told himself.

xxx

Courtney walked off, making her way to the bathroom, as Damien and Chase joined him outside.

"Did that really just happen? Dude!" Chase pulled Dave in for a headlock, as Damien smiled on the side with his arms crossed.

"Didn't she come out here to throw up?" Damien mentioned, looking a little skittish.

"Don't remind me, please." Dave genuinely asked.

The camera cut to the window, as Julia watched this in surprise. "Attention remaining boot-camp recruits, the next evolution of your training begins at 0700 hours, and I catch the sucker that took my dessert, your butt is mine!" Chef spoke over the loudspeakers.

The camera flashed to the remaining six campers, Priya, Zoey and Damien on one side, with Courtney, Eva and Julia on the other hanging upside down on reliable tree branches.

"What you are experience is an ancient form of torture. By now the blood has begin rushing to your head. The next stage is nausea, followed by dizziness, and a flushed appearance as the blood begins to pool your in your eyes. You may experience fainting spells."

Julia suddenly fell, hearing the last part, hitting the ground hard. Courtney and Eva watched on in concern, as Dawn appeared.

"She's okay, do not fret friends." The Moonchild told them. The two girls steadied their resolve, and grabbed onto the tree branch.

Priya and Zoey went to do the same, as Damien attempted to do so, before loosing his footing and hitting the ground as well.

"Oh, no, Damien!" Priya called out.

"Don't worry, we got him!" Cody and Zee said, checking up on their friend.

Courtney suddenly broke out into a nervous laughter, as Eva watched her in confusion. Courtney's laughter suddenly made her take her hands off to grab her sides, causing her to lose her footing, and fall out of the tree.

"I expected more out of you soldier." Chef shook his head in disappointment.

"Master Chief, I just have one thing to say to you." Courtney said, clearing her throat.

"And what's that?"

"You really need to take a chill pill." Courtney responded, before breaking out into laughter again, and high fiving Dave and Chase.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Chase said.

"You got this Eva!" Courtney called out to The Tough Girl.

Eva gave a thumbs up, showing calmness. Before her belly started to grumble. "Uh oh..." Eva said to herself, as she began to throw up upside down, hitting Chef on the head. "I think I had one too many cookies..." She groaned, before falling out of the tree at the same time Priya did.

"Ooo...that's going to leave a mark..." Courtney commented.

The camera flashed to show the Gophers hoisting Zoey on their shoulders, running through the woods, as they reached Chef.

"Zoey! Congratulations soldier. I'd go to war with you anytime." Chef saluted the girl.

"Oh, thanks, I'll take that into consideration?" Zoey confusingly responded, as she walked away from the Cook.

"You do that soldier! You do that!" Chef said slightly getting emotional.

"Seriously? That's what gets emotion out of you?" Chase scoffed, suddenly appearing into the shot with his arms crossed.

"Laps, now, now, now!" He yelled, returning to his usual state as Chef began to run off camera.

The camera flashed to Scott in the Gopher cabin, resting, before he heard a scream, and left his cabin. He exited to see the commotion coming from the Bass cabin, as Courtney suddenly appeared out of the cabin, hitting the ground, looking up at a confused Dawn, and an angry Julia and Eva.

"You! What was my mp3 player doing in your bed!" Eva growled.

"I don't know, I told you that already!" Courtney called back.

"Yeah right, my necklace was also there!" Julia added. "Same with Dawn's book." Dawn didn't say a word, instead looked across, and eyed Scott.

"And I swear, I didn't take anyone's stuff!"

"What's going on out here?" The boys of both teams suddenly appeared, as did Zoey and Priya.

"I'm guessing this all belongs to you." Julia said, throwing a few items on the ground.

"What the, my tarot cards?" Zoey said, picking them up.

"My cologne!" Cody gasped.

"My sodas! Come to daddy yo!" Zee said, picking them up and hugging them near his face.

"My...whittling knife..." Scott added, in complete confusion.

"Yep, we found all this on Courtney's side of the cabin." Julia narrowed her eyes at the Courtney still on the ground, as everyone gasped and looked at her.

"Wait, guys, Courtney wouldn't do-" Dave tried to say before he was interrupted.

"Quiet!" Eva growled at him, before looking at Courtney. "To think, I was just beginning to trust you." She looked away, and began to walk off.

xxx

"But...this doesn't make any sense! I took everyone's stuff and buried it in the woods!" Scott exclaimed in the confessional. "How the heck did it end up in the Bass cabin!?" He asked the confessional

xxx

The camera returned to the Bass elimination ceremony, Dave, Courtney and Dawn in the top row, Chase, Julia and Eva in the bottom row.

"I only have five marshmallows on my plate. And these marshmallows represent the campers that will continue to be...campers. You've all cast your ballots in the confession cam. If I do not cast your name, you must immediately go down to the Dock of Shame, catch the Boat of Losers, and go home. And you can't come back. Ever."

"Dawn. Chase. Eva. Julia." Chris called out the names one by one, as they went to collect their marshmallow. Courtney looked surprisingly at Dave, who just smiled at her.

"Now, this is a first in Total Drama history, but the final marshmallow goes to...Courtney." The host exclaimed, earning a surprised look from Eva.

"What? How is that traitor not going home!?"

"Ask Dave, he's the one who voted for himself." Chris shrugged.

"Wait...Dave you did what?" Courtney said, suddenly standing.

"I know you didn't take everyone's stuff, even if they don't believe you. Plus, you deserve to win this, so it was a sacrifice I was okay making." Dave told her.

"Bu...You just gave up on one hundred thousand dollars!"

"It's okay, it was for you." Dave said, suddenly taking her hand. Courtney looked at her hand, then looked up at him.

"Dave...I can't...I told you..." She took off her hand and looked away from him, earning surprised looks from her teammates and the host.

"Wow...now that's cold, right after giving up on the most money you've ever seen in your life. Brutal." Chris commented from the sidelines. "Dave, time to go my man."

The boy looked up at Courtney in confusion, and sadness, before turning into anger as he made his way to the Dock of Shame, on the boat of losers.

"Guess I'm in for a long ride." Dave sighed to himself.

"Oh, I wouldn't say that. I know it was you who took my stuff, boy." Chef suddenly said, glaring at him.

"Uh oh..." Dave suddenly yelled off screen, as the boat continued in the distance.

The camera cut back to the bonfire, as Julia had her marshmallow roasting in the fire.

The scene rippled, playing a flashback of Julia following Scott to the woods, and digging up everyone's stuff. "This guy...He really did all this..." Julia muttered. "My team is getting along way too well right now, time to make sure It's not me who goes home." She told herself, as the grabbed the stuff, and placed it in Courtney's bed. The camera cut to back to Julia's marshmallow, slightly burnt, before rippling again.

"There's only one thing you can do Dave, it's time for a big gesture here to save Courtney." Julia said, putting an arm on his shoulder.

"You're right! It's the least I can do." Dave steadied his resolve, and went to go talk to Dawn and Chase as Julia watched on with a smirk.

The camera cut back to Julia's marshmallow once more, now totally burned, as the girl just smiled. "And that's another domino that falls..." She muttered, keeping her smile.

Author Note - Three episodes in the space of 10 days? I know, I'm spoiling you guys. But I'm heading back to university next week for my final year so I wanted to get as much out as possible since I'm not sure I can have a chapter uploaded next week, it's a maybe but no promises. Also, this was hands down my favourite pre merge episode in the drafts, so I wanted you guys to get it as I was extra motivated! So who saw that coming? Dave goes home, Scott is flabbergasted, and Julia has made the biggest play of the season with Courtney and Dave also getting together! A lot in one episode, but I think it didn't disrupt the pacing at all. Lemme know what you think? Another big pre merge protagonist, bites the dust.
