One hell of an arrival

Ok, this is definitely going to get controversial, but this here is a crossover that I've been wanting to do for a bit now. Mass Effect Andromeda x Naruto. I'm pretty sure I'm about to lose a lot of you already, but please hear me out before leaving and complaining about the game I chose to put this one in.

I know Andromeda was a shit show for most ME fans. And on some level, I agree with you. As they could have made it way better than it was and added more content to it with far more entries to the codex. But that is what fanfiction is for! To either fix or edit what is already there, or to completely change outcomes we didn't like all together. And that Is exactly what I intend to do.

Now, on to the harem, as almost all my Naruto fics will be harem fics. I tried to balance it out as best I could without it seeming that Naruto was exclusively into humans and Asari. As I've seen that is almost every ME x Naruto fic I've come across, with the exception of T'ali. Though a lot of the girls are human, as Andromeda didn't have too many good female aliens. Not even a Croghan worth mentioning.

Harem: Hinata, Tenten, Kurotsuchi, Mei, Sarah Ryder, Vetra Nyx, Peebee, Sid Nyx, Cora, Aleva Kjar, and Lexi.

If anyone can help me find good female alien characters that have names and are actually from the game and not your personal OC, contact me in the reviews or PMs. I'll take all the help I can get. Oh, and no NTR, I only do that to asshole characters that don't have a good damn reason for being one.

Also, I have a Discord server now. It was given to me by a friend of mine who left the server, but before doing so left it in my care. If you're interested, send my a request to join. Know that there is a black list, so if you are on it, you won't get an invitation.

Anyway, enough blathering on, and let's start this shall we?

Naruto rose with a glare at the woman who just threw him next to four pods that were next to the shinju tree. The plan to seal her had gone to hell in a handbasket. It all started when Sasuke's ego got the best of him and he broke off from the Susanoo and Kurama chakra mode combo. Thinking he could seal her solo and get all the glory. From there, things started spiraling out of control.

Kakashi and Sakura were hit by the Ash killing bones Jutsu. Leaving Naruto and Sasuke to fight Kaguya, the mother of the Sage of Six Paths. Sasuke was then killed by Kaguya's Amaterasu when he tried to perform a sneak attack on her. Leaving only Naruto to deal with her. Which brings us to now. 'I hate that I have to do this. But I guess there is no other choice.' Naruto thought to himself before getting up, and beginning to do the hand signs for the Jutsu the sage gave him for when the worst came to worst.

Kaguya started laughing at, in her opinion, this worm's last pathetic attempt to defeat her. "It's too late now child! I have already won, and you have lost!" She shouted mockingly before realizing something. Something that shook her to her core.

She was beginning to lose her power.

In a fit of caution, the sage decided to give Naruto the one Jutsu that he knew would stop his mother. A Jutsu that would almost simultaneously drain the Bijuu from Kaguya and put them into Naruto. Already, Naruto had Shukaku and Matabi, while the next set of hand signs got the rest.

Just as Naruto finished the hand signs, Kaguya used the last small bit of her power to do a Jutsu. "Ice Release: Eternal Ice age!" She yelled as the last of the Bijuu were taken from her. Causing her to fall to the ground and her body to turn back into a statue.

Naruto sighed as he fell to the ground gasping for air. "Dang that Jutsu took a lot out of me." He said to himself with a sad smile. He then heard four distinct cracks happen around him. Quietly getting up, he saw that four of the Infinite Tsukuyomi pads were open. Inside them were Hinata, Mei, Tenten, and Kurotsuchi. Thinking quietly Naruto made three Shadow Clones and they pulled all four girls out of the pods.

Kurama decided to speak as he knew what the Jutsu Kaguya used did. "Naruto, you need to find a shelter. The Jutsu Kaguya used will start taking effect any minute now. We need a place where we can at least make it through the coming storm." He said with worry, as the Jutsu Kaguya used will Put the Elemental nations into a new Ice age.

Naruto nodded before he and his clones moved the girls to a cave in a nearby mountain. It was deep enough that he wouldn't have to worry about any fires he built going out. But not so deep that if something bad was happening, he couldn't get them out quick enough.

Little did Naruto know, this would be the last time he would see the Elemental nations like this. As above, the out-of-control Jutsu would be the end of one country and the beginning of two others. One to the far northeast, and the other would take the place of the Elemental nation. One covered in ice and snow, stuck in an eternal winter that would see no end.

But this is not the end of our story. Oh no, this is merely the Beginning.

Xxx- Time skip brought to you by a chibi Vetra shooting Kett -xxX

Vidara Kija was a Turian archeologist who has been studying ancient human history for years. This has led her to many places on Earth and seeing many things. But one thing she never expected was to uncover a hidden ancient civilization, One that had no legends truly told about it till now.

The first clue to its existence were tablets found in Japan's southernmost island. That told of a place called the Elemental nations. And that the first settlers of the island nation were from this place. None knew truly where it was, as the tablets only told of the journey of getting to Japan. Including the reason, they left their home. A massive storm unlike any other had suddenly taken over the nation, covering it in ice and snow with no end in sight.

Vidara found that strange, though she wasn't an astrologist, she knew a storm like that was one in a billion chance of happening. 'So whatever caused it had to have a massive impact on the weather. And no one who was able to travel the universe had the technology to change the weather that drastically yet. So what happened?' She mentally asked herself. She had been studying the tablets for three weeks now, learning everything she could to possibly find the Elemental nations. But so far she was coming up empty-handed.

It was then that a human man came into the cave. He was of Japanese descent and woar a short-sleeved shirt and khaki pants. "Still trying to find my ancestor's old home Vidara?" He asked with a smile. This was Kishimota Misukizu, Vidara's colleague and best friend. He held out a cup of coffee that was made specifically for Turians to her, which she gladly took.

Vidara nodded. "Yeah, I'm still trying to find the last piece of this puzzle but I just… wait a minute." She explained before seeing something that caught her eye. "The islands of the Elemental nations were in a relatively straight line out from the mainland. So if the ocean was freezing over." She theorized while putting the information into her scanner. Suddenly, a picture of Antarctica came up on the hud. The outline of the Elemental nations fitting the continent's shape almost exactly with ice sheets added to account for ancient oceans taken out. "Antarctica?" She asked with confusion.

Kisimota looked at her with confusion and surprise. "Antarctica? That would explain why they left. The never-ending winter there has been known to be unforgiving. Though that means if we want to find everything, we will have to start digging in ice. Well, at least that means everything will be extremely well preserved." He said while rambling about things they will need.

Vidara was nodding at some of her colleague's statements before seeing something that caught her eye. "To our sons and daughters, look for the maelstrom prince. Free the one who was born of the fox's container and the leader of the leaf. The one who could trace his blood to the clan of the swirling tides. For it is he and those he protects that will help our people thrive once again." She read from a smaller table that was off to the side. On the top of it was a sign, it looked like a whirlpool of some kind if one looked closely enough.

This message told her that they truly believed that whoever it was this tablet was speaking of, had a great amount of respect from the writer of these tablets. 'But how would they have survived all this time?' She asked herself, before looking at Kishi and saw him staring at her in shock. "What? Does that mean something to your family?" She asked with curiosity.

Kishimota nodded slowly, as if in a trance of some kind. "Yeah, it's an old story my grandfather told me when I was a little boy. It has been passed down for generations now. No one in my family knows for how long. The story tells of a village hidden in a forest, one filled with ninjas who could do incredible things.

But the most famous of them all was its fourth leader. Said to be the descendant of the lightning God himself. Rumors had it, he fell in love with a woman who contained a beast, locked inside of her from a young age. No one knows if it's true or not, but this just confirms it. My ancestors were definitely from this place, and it's my job to find it again." He said with conviction. "Will you help me Vidara?" He asked her with fire in his eyes.

Vidara nodded, fire burning in her own eyes. "You bet, we've come this far, we might as well finish what we started. I'll call everyone and get crews ready. Dress warmly, big guy, we're about to freeze our asses off in the Elemental Nations." She said before picking up the small tablet off the table and putting it in a satchel that was hanging on her chair.

Xxx- Two months later -xxX

Kishimota and Vidara have been out in Antarctica for almost two months and have found a lot of things. Scrolls, Tablets, memorial stones, skeletons of many people and animals, the list goes on. But the one thing that they just found scared and shocked them to their core.

Before them was a massive tree with hundreds of pod-like structures. In front of this tree was a statue of a woman with long horns on her head and three eyes. Reaching out as if to stop something from happening.

Vidara walked up to the statue with curiosity, she then used her scanner to take a scan of it to find out what it was. "Seems like it's made of wood and stone. But I'm getting strange energy readings from it, almost like it's alive or something." She said with curiosity and nervousness. The readings she was getting creeped her out a bit.

Kishi shuddered at that. "Let's not try poking the metaphorical bear with that thing. Something about it just doesn't seem right to me." He said before noticing that of all the pods they had opened, four were already open to begin with. The strange thing about that is, all the pods, including the one directly behind the statue, were closed. The only exception were four pods near the edge of the tree that looked like they were opened from the inside. "This is strange, why would these four be open when all the others are closed?" He asked himself out loud for anyone close to hear.

Just as Vidara was about to add her thoughts, her communicator beeped. "This is Vidara, what is it Zed?" She asked the krogan on the other end of the line.

A rough grumbling voice spoke. "Hey Vid, you might want to come take a look at this, we found a frozen cave and found something. Something big, and alive." He said with absolute shock. Which was rare for the battle-hardened krogan.

Vidara was flabbergasted at this information. She then realized that the original people of this land must have realized that, whoever was trapped in this cave was alive to begin with. "Zed, I want people thawing out whoever is in there. Whoever it is, they are alive and need medical care now." She said before ending the call and looking at Kishi. "We found them." She said with a smile. The two then rushed over to the cave Zed was talking about. They had found it yesterday and it was nearly full of blue ice.

Xxx- Inside Naruto's mindscape -xxx

Naruto And the nine Bijuu were sitting in a circle in the middle of his mindscape. For over a thousand years now, the ten of them had been using the Chakra maintaining the Jutsu that has kept the Elemental nations covered in ice to help keep Naruto, Hinata, Tenten, Mei, and Kurotsuchi alive all this time. Frozen in suspended animation for years. "Someone finally found us, I can feel their chakra even if it's pretty weak, a civilian most likely." Naruto said before opening his eyes.

Kurama too opened his eyes. "Yes, I feel it too. We may finally be free from this frozen prison. Now concentrate, we need to keep this Jutsu up to keep those four and us alive till then." Kurama said before closing his eyes again.

Naruto nodded before closing his eyes and concentrated on maintaining the Jutsu.

Xxx- Back in the outside world two days later -xxx

The dethawing process has been going smoothly for the past two days. Luckily they were able to close off the cave and install heaters. Over the two days, they had opened all the pods around the tree. Finding mummified remains of at least 500 people.

Men and women from 16 to 82 years of age. Though some women on the dig site felt inadequate due to how big the breasts on the mummified corpses were. Just imaging how big they originally were when not mummified really showed them how far they fell short in modern-day. Most of the women were high C-cups or higher. 'Lucky bitches.' Was the collective thought processes of every human and Asari woman around the camp who were smaller than that.

Vidara smiled sadly as she and her friend Moxie Sedura, an Asari doctor and coroner, examined one of the corpses that they just pulled from the ice. "So doc, what's this one's story?" Vidara asked her friend with curiosity.

Moxie sighed as she looked over the scans and notes. "This one was one of the two that broke out from the pods. Bruises on the knuckles and fingers suggest she fought someone immediately afterwards. The cause of death was her heart exploding in her chest. Suggesting whoever she was fighting poisoned her with something. Though her hair color in her genetic markers says her hair was pink. Which is extremely strange for a human." She said with confusion and interest.

She had learned a lot over her two-day stay here. The people of this land had strange hair colors, varying mutations, and many other things that couldn't be explained easily. They even found a dog's corpse that was twice as large as a Great Dane for fuck sake.

Vidara looked at her friend like she had grown a second head before looking over her shoulder and saw she wasn't lying. "These people get weirder and weirder each day. First purple, then mint green, then light blue, and now pink. What's next, we going to find someone with naturally blood-red hai-." She was saying before a body was brought in that was a bit more well preserved that still had its hair. Which was blood-red in color. There were also human bite makers all over her body except for the more intimate areas. "Never mind." Vidara said before smacking her face in a facepalm.

Moxie couldn't help but giggle at her friend's reaction. "You get used to it after the fifth time or so. Those other sites you found were very interesting and, to make things better, we found what looks like a hospital! I swear if I wasn't planning on going to Andromeda, I would be sitting over there going through all the files they had and seeing what advancements they made back then. As it is, we know that they had the capability to do levels of eye surgery that most primitive societies from back then could only dream of reaching. I honestly wonder what they did to keep patients stable during those surgeries." She said while rambling on more about the possibilities of all the data that were collecting here.

Vidara smiled at how excited her friend was. She had called for several people to come with her and Kishi when they were planning to come here. Over the months here, they had found two of the five major hidden villages talked about in the tablets. The Village Hidden in the leaves, and the Village Hidden in the Rocks. The amount of scrolls, tablets, Books, and files they had found were amazing. They even found what looked like seals for hidden objects, though they couldn't find what they hid. At the very least, everything they would find here would be scanned for later and sent off to Andromeda for further study. 'Thank the spirits for preservation boxes' Vidara thought to herself before looking at one of the body of an older man who looked to be in his early 80s.

Moxie noticed what Vidara was looking at and smiled sadly. "I don't know what he was doing on a battlefield, but it is clear he gave as good as he got. Healed broken bones, bruises everywhere, and freeze-dried blood on the face and head, not all of it being his. He was one tough old codger if there ever was one. Though he definitely had back problems." She said with a giggle.

Vidara sighed at this. "I know why he was there. He was one of the leaders of the hidden villages. He lived by the saying 'a good leader leads by example.' We even found his journal. Apparently, his granddaughter was here as well and he wasn't going to let her risk her life alone. He may have been a crotchety old man, but let it never be said that he didn't love his granddaughter with all his heart." She said before noticing something, none of the bodies had a familial match to the old man. 'So one of the people who are trapped with him is Onoki's grandchild. That's going to be interesting.' She thought before her communicator went off. "Yeah?" She asked.

Kishi could be heard on the other end catching his breath on the other end. "We were able to melt the ice, they are all free. Four women and one man. Vid, it's him, the energy coming off of him is off the charts, it's not even funny." He said between breaths. "They are being prepped for the trip to Andromeda now as we speak, though we are keeping them in a low-level coma for now. Don't want to accidentally wake them up and scare them with Zed around." Kishi said, getting an indignant "HEY!" from said Krogan.

Vidara couldn't help laughing at this. "I'm on my way over. I want to see his designation before boarding the ark. Also, I found a map to put in the preservation boxes. It should help us understand what was happening the day things went to shit here." She said before heading over to the metal building that they made to help keep the heat in, it also had pipelines to filter out the water that would flow out of the cave.

When she arrived she saw the five people left alive from that day. She saw that there were identification cards on the table nearby. But she wanted to see them before learning their names. "I'm here, so who do we have?" She asked with curiosity.

Kisimota came up to her with a data pad in his hands. "Well, surprisingly they had ID cards on them. Seems that they had some kind of system going on or something. Anyway, The one with purple hair is Hinata Hyuga, if I remember right she is from one of Konoha's clans. Her eyes look almost like they are made of pearls if you ask me, though I suppose that's part of her family's mutations." He said pointing to the purple-haired young woman being loaded into a cryopod.

Vidara walked over to the pod to get a good look at the woman. Hinata definitely fit many human beauty standards. Heck, she could be a model in today's day and age. "I pity any woman trying to catch the attention of the one who gets with her." She said with a giggle. And she meant it too, as Hinata had everything a hot-blooded man would want if he was straight. And lesbians would die to get with. Nice large birthing hips, a large bust size so breastfeeding wouldn't be a problem, and a beautiful face that shows love and care for her loved ones. Though it would have to be habits and personality that would be the deal-breaker.

Kishi nodded at this. "Yep, anyway, the next one is Tenten, no last name to speak of. Most likely she was an orphan and didn't take on their last name. Found a large scroll on her, so we're going to put it in the box with their personal belongings and old clothes." He said while scrolling through the list of items in said box.

Vidara looked in the pod Tenten was in with the equivalent of a raised eyebrow for Turians. "Hmm, smaller than Hinata but definitely looks like she somewhat cared for her looks. Faint scars and calluses on the hands are consistent with smithing." She said with certainty. She had met a few blade smiths before and they had these same types of hands.

Kishi nodded at this, as he thought the same thing. "Next we have Mei Terumi, Mizukage of the hidden mist. The missing leader we have been looking for in the pods. It will be interesting to learn what she knows about the village infrastructure from back then. It will help shed some light on the stacks of papyrus stuck in obsidian in her tent." He told her with a nervous tone, as he read some of the journals of her ninja. He knew to NEVER mention marriage around her, unless you had a death wish.

Vidalia looks at Mei with interest. "I look forward to meeting her. I read that she was a kind and strong leader." She said before looking at the last girl among the frozen Elementiens (the term that they had started using for people who were from the Elemental nations.) who was smaller than most of the women who were frozen in the 'proportions' department, but she made up for it in height. If she were to guess, Vidara would say the young woman would come up to just under her chest.

Kishi smiled at this. "That is Kurotsuchi, Onoki's granddaughter. Pretty tall for her age and has the potential to be a leader if she learned anything from her grandfather." He said, before turning to the last pod. "And finally, the man of the hour." He said in a dramatic tone, trying to sound like an old-fashioned TV announcer. "Introducing, the man, the myth, the legend, Naruto Uzumaki!" Kishi shouted in the same dramatic tone as a basketball announcer.

Vidara couldn't help the laugh that escaped her. "Hush you corny fool." She muttered while messing with his hair. She then got a good look at Naruto. His wild blonde hair, whisker-marked cheeks, and handsome face in peaceful slumber. "So this is the one the tables talked about huh? Makes me wonder how many girls will throw themselves at him when we get to Andromeda." She said with a giggle. She was honestly glad she was approved to board the Human ark.

She just had a bad feeling about the Turian ark that she couldn't shake. The lack of arms and military personnel there just screams disaster for a military-oriented species like her's. Something in her gut told her if she went to Andromeda on the Turian ark, she would never make it out alive. And her gut feelings were right 96% of the time. And with her gut practically twisting at the very sight of the thing, she knew something BAD was going to happen on that thing.

Kishi nodded at her statement. "Oh yeah, there is no doubt about that. I honestly wonder how they will react to Turians and Krogans. I know there were people with genetic mutations back then, but we don't know to what extent they went to." He said with concern.

Vidara nodded at this. "Yeah, but we will find out when we get there. Luckily I had it scheduled so everything we have found here will be on the Hyperion with us. It's the only ark that didn't twist my gut into knots just looking at it." She told him with confidence.

Kishimota thought most superstitions were just crazy talk. But after time and time again, He learned that if Vidara's gut was in knots, you sure as fuck better start listening. He didn't care if you believed them or not, he would personally remove them from the fucking Solar System before whatever was going to happen, happened. He learned this lesson when they were in the middle of a voyage and space pirates came out of nowhere to raid their ship. Not two hours before that, Vidara's stomach started turning.

Lesson learned; if the Turian gets a stomach ache, you run like hell is after your ass.

Now all they need to do is pack everything they find up and carve out the seals on the walls. As Vidara had some plans.

Xxx- Andromeda Galaxy: 633 years after launch, Hyperion cryogenic bay -xxX

Naruto groaned with his eyes still shut, not daring to look at any lights. "Can someone turn the light off, being frozen in ice is not good on the eyes, you know." He said to whoever was nearby in an annoyed tone.

It was then that a female voice spoke up. "What he said." She said with an equal amount of annoyance in her tone. She had just come out of cryosleep and needed time to let her eyes adjust.

The light in the room dimmed down more before both opened their eyes. Naruto took this time to look around and get his bearings. He was in a dimly lit room with strange machines all around him. "Where am I?" He asked no one in particular. Ready to lunge at anyone who got too close with ill intentions.

It was then someone got Naruto's attention. "Hello, Naruto-san, I'm Kishimota Misukizu. You are somewhere far from the Elemental Nations. You have been frozen for almost three thousand years now, waiting to be dethawed." Kishi explained to him. "We had to leave our planet because of a massive threat that would destroy our world and many others." He said in a grim tone.

Naruto couldn't help but facepalm at this. "Oh for fuck sake, who the fuck we piss off this time?!" He groaned out with annoyance. It wouldn't have been the first time this happened, and probably won't be the last either.

The female voice from earlier spoke again this time with confusion. "This time?" She asked with worry and curiosity. Causing Naruto to look at the owner of the voice. She was a young woman of Asian descent with short black hair and tanned skin. She was wearing a white and blue form-fitting shirt and pants that was made of an unknown material to him. Her breasts were a large D-cup and had wide hips.

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, that's how I ended up on the ice with my friends in the first place. Pissed off some alien bitch with horns and a third eye because we wouldn't let her destroy the world. In a last-ditch effort, she used a technique that put our country on ice for eternity. At least that's the simplified version that was explained to me." He told them with a frown before realizing something. "Wait, my friends, are they here with us?" He asked with worry.

Kishi nodded. "Yes, they are here on the ark with us. You were just the first to be woken up. We figured you were the most level-headed one to start with." He explained to Naruto. Getting a snort from the blonde in response. "Also, your things and many things we excavated from the ice from your village are here. We were able to get a lot of things on here and a small ship that is tethered closely to the ark's bridge. We should probably get you to the medical bay for examination. As hibernation sickness is a very real thing for how long you've been out." He said before helping Naruto to his feet.

Naruto had a bit of difficulty standing for a moment but quickly corrected it and was able to stand. 'This is definitely going to take some getting used to.' He thought to himself before turning to the young woman. "I never did get your name, I'm Naruto Uzumaki, what's yours?" He asked her with a kind smile.

The woman smiled back. "I heard, I'm Sarah Ryder. I'm part of the pathfinder team, it's basically my job to help find a home for everyone." She explained to him before being helped up.

Naruto nodded at this, slightly understanding of the job on her shoulders. "My only request is that it's somewhere warm. I'm done with being frozen thanks." he said to Sarah with a shiver.

Kishi looks at Naruto before leading them to the medical bay. "Just so you know, not all the aliens out there are evil and want to destroy the world. We have been living semi peacefully with several other species of aliens for years now. You're actually about to meet three when we get to the med bay. Two are Asari and one is a Turian. Asari are a race of blueish-purple women who look similar to humans. Minus a few things of course. Turians are a race of tall bird-like people with boney plates on their bodies. They can't eat regular human foods like some others, but they can ingest alcohol pretty well. Also, I know they have a look of reptiles so don't say anything." He explained before helping them into the medical bay.

When they stepped out of the Cryo chamber, they were met by two Asari. One had light blue skin and light purple dots lining her head. She was wearing a form-fitting Lab coat with the main color being white and the secondary color being orange that lined the side of the coat, the collar, and down the shoulders. Lining the seams of it are black lines with one going across the breasts and the seam that connects the right sleeve to the right shoulder. An h-shaped hoop goes from the collar and stops at the black line that goes across the breasts. The hem of the coat stops just reaching the thigh while having a long arch above her nether region, and both sleeves are rolled up to the elbow. The other had a slightly darker shade of blue skin with light blue markings where her eyebrows should be. She was wearing the same outfit as the other women. Both had moderate-sized breasts being possibly small C-cups and wide hips.

The first Asari came up to Naruto. "Hello Naruto, I'm Moxie Sedura and I'll be your examiner today. Most of it will be standard stuff, though we will be doing some blood work." She told him. She was glad they had the cryo pods add translators to the Elementians before getting to Andromeda. It saved them a lot of trouble in the end.

Naruto nods in understanding before following the Asari to a bed/examination table. It took only a few moments and everything was normal as far as Moxie could tell. She then did a medical scan with her scanner. "Hmm, everything is looking good at the moment. Especially considering that you have been frozen for a while.

Though when we reach the Nexus I'll have to do a more thorough examination, as well as a special surgery as we don't have certain tools to do so. Before you ask what it is," she said, interrupting Naruto from asking what it was. "It's a surgery that allows you to have a special device on your arm similar to mine. It is called an omni-tool, you'll need it for a lot of things. Opening most doors being a major one." She explained in a professional tone, motioning to the strange glowing orange holographic pad on her forearm.

Naruto stared at it for a moment before speaking. "Huh, well if nothing else, I like the color of it." He said with a slight smile. "*sigh* I just hope this new start we've apparently been given will be worth it. Not to mention I never really got to say goodbye to all my friends." He said solemnly, as he wishes he could have done more. Maybe even saved more of them before the blizzard hit so they would be here with him.

Moxie smiled sadly at the young man. "I know it's tough, but trust me, you didn't want to see what happened. I was the doctor on-site at each dig site we had. It wasn't pretty." She said as she thought of all those that were too stubborn to leave like those who settled in Japan. It was so bad that they found the mummified bodies of pregnant women and even children.

Naruto looked up at her. "Just answer me this, was there a girl who was 16 with a familial match to my friend Hinata? A sister level match?" He asked with pleading eyes.

Moxie opened up the blood work data from the leaf village. "Hmm, not that I'm seeing. We found her father and several distant cousins, but not a sister. We thought she was an only child." She said with confusion.

Naruto let out a sigh of relief before shaking his head. "No, she had a younger sister. She was three years younger than her and took more after their dad in appearance. Though Hanabi had more of a rebellious spirit to her. The kind that said 'if my sister won't do it, I will.'" Naruto said with a fond smile. Hanabi had helped him with a few pranks after he got back from his training trip. Blood clones were such a useful tool.

Moxie giggled at this. "That likely has a whole other meaning right now." She told him with a smile. Thinking about what those words would mean these days. Especially considering the things that could happen from them. She was still baffled by the case of a Turian that got pregnant when her sister convinced her to have a threesome with said sister's human husband. (1)

Naruto looked her square in the face with a deadpan expression. "Oh, I'm very well aware of what it could mean now. No matter how much time passes, perverts will always stay the same." He said with a flat tone. Past experiences with his previous senseis coming to the front of his mind and the books they read/wrote.

Moxie heard the tone in his voice and understood the Exact reason for it. "I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have experience with said perverts?" She asked with a knowing look.

Naruto scoffed at this. "Where the hell do I start? Let's try my first Sensei that I had when I first became a Genin, who read Ecchi novels in public and around kids. Giggling like a deranged pervert all the while. Then we have my second Sensei for a tournament that would allow me and others who had the rank of Genin to go up to the next rank, Chunin. Closet pervert to the max. He was much better than others at hiding it, but I caught him reading the same novels I mentioned before.

Then we have my last sensei, the Author of said novels and, in his own words, a super pervert. He did it all, peeped on women in just about every situation. Hot spring, changing room, bedroom in the middle of sex. You name it, he did it. And got beaten to hell for it." He said with a dry and frustrated tone before taking a breath and letting out a sigh. "Though I guess if it wasn't for the first and last of the three, I wouldn't be where I am today. I'd be dead with the rest of my comrades and someone else would be in my place." He said with a slight smile.

Moxi frowned slightly at this. She knew how it was for teachers that took a chance on you to be the ones that got you to this point, only to outlive them. "I, unfortunately, know how the last part of that is. Asari live over one thousand years so most of us usually end up marrying multiple partners in our lifetime. I've been to several of my old teacher's funerals and the funeral of one of my exs." She explained to him with a sad expression.

Naruto smiled sadly as memories came back to him of his time with Haku in the land of waves. "I, unfortunately, know how that is. Being a Shinobi, you never know when you're going to die. Even in times of 'peace', you have the chance of being taken out by an enemy village. A good example of this is when I was on a job to protect a bridge builder in the land of waves. I met a girl there who was from a clan that could literally make ice from thin air. Though I didn't know this at the time.

She was also there with a missing-nin to kill said bridge builder, again didn't know this at the time. We spent so much time together when I wasn't training. " he told her as tears started forming in his eyes.

Moxi was confused by this for a moment before realizing why from what he said before. He knew how it was. "You fell in love and she died on your mission, didn't she." She said in a sad tone, the two not realizing that five others were listening in with wide eyes.

Naruto nodded. "Yes, we were there for little over a month. In that time, Haku and I fell for each other. She told of how she was also an orphan, all because her father listened to the anti-blood line propaganda being put out at the time. He believed all of it, and when he found out his wife and daughter had one. Well, let's just say it ended with a traumatized Haku, and both her parents dead on the floor in front of her. She was found and trained by the missing-nin she was there with for years. But before I could convince her to come back with me… the day they had to attack the bridge happened." He said, his voice getting a bit shaky, and his breath becoming more ragged as he went on.

Moxi put a hand on his shoulder. "It's ok, you don't have to finish. I can take a guess on what happened next." She said, getting a thankful nod from him. She could see that, while extremely short, his relationship with Haku had meant so much to Naruto. It makes her wonder what he went through as a child to have this happen since the only such short relationships that affect someone like this are the kind soul mates find or… 'Oh dear, I hope that isn't the case.' She thought to herself with worry.

Sarah was also listening to the conversation. She felt sorry for Naruto, as she knew what it was like to lose the one you love on the battlefield. Especially when said person was in your arms as they died. It was an experience one doesn't recover from without mental scars and a bit of PTSD. As it was, she was scared half to death of losing the next person she falls in love with.

Suddenly, the intercom came on. "Attention pathfinder team, we will be arriving in the Andromeda Galaxy shortly. Get your bearings while you can. Cryo team, hold off on dethawing for a moment. The archeologist said something is going to happen when we leave the last hyperjump. Given her track record, I don't want to risk the lives of the rest of my team." Said the voice of the pathfinder before the intercom turned off.

Moxi nodded at several people running around to cancel the dethawing process on the cryo pods that were off to the right of them. "Alright, the last thing we need to do is get you ready are chips that go in your hands. They make it so you can use certain objects here, weapons, data pads, and terminals being major examples." She explained to Naruto, who nodded in understanding. She then went about preparing the injectors with the chips in them.

As this was going on, Naruto noticed someone, a Turian if he remembers the description Kishi gave him right, walking up to them. A giant insect-like bipedal alien with a thin midsection that leads down into thick thighs and two toed feet. Her honey brown eyes held a bit of wonder to them. Spikes protrude from the calves and a neck brace like armor surrounds the head. A unique Turian that can be considered lith even among her kind. Turians are known to have thin waists, yet her's were even more skinnier than normal which seems to add to her attractive figure. She also had a rarity among her kind as she had a slight spike protruding on her elbows much like she had on the joint of her digitigrade legs. In note of her legs, her toes were thinner than normal with her lower leg being thinner yet strong. her hips seem wider giving her much more of an hourglass figure. In the center of her forehead was a red diamond that ran the center of her head crest. Her outfit was the standard turian outfit with the coloring being mostly beige with specified parts being gray which mostly concern the collar, shoulders, hands, and connecting joint of the hips.

Vidara smiled at seeing Naruto awake. Though she was saddened by what happened to him. She had come in when he started the sad tale of him and Haku, one she hoped would not be finished for a while. She stopped in front of him and bent over slightly to stand at eye level with him. "Hello Naruto, I'm Vidara Kija, one of the archaeologists that found you and your friends back on earth." She greeted him while holding out her hand to shake his.

Naruto took the offered hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you Kija-san, thank you for getting us out by the way. I don't think I could have kept us alive much longer. I hope to-OW! " Naruto told her before feeling the injector with one of the chips inject said chip into his right hand. He quickly let go of her hand so he didn't accidentally crush it.

Moxi looked up with a sheepish grin. "Sorry about that, I probably should have warned you." She said before grabbing the other injectors and repeated the process with Naruto's other hand.

Vidara shook her head in slight annoyance. "No, you don't say. I would have never thought of such a thing doc." She said, her voice practically dripping with sarcasm. Which got a chuckle from those nearby. This was one thing that her friend always had problems with. Moxi at times was a bit forgetful when it came to warnings of things like this. It was one of the reasons she stuck to being a mortician. At least the dead don't complain when you poke them with something sharp.

Moxi leveled a glare at her friend. "I don't want to hear it from you Vid, especially when you have your own quirks." She said before gaining a sad look on her face. "Your nieces being one of them. I get that you held out hope your brother was alive. But I think you should have tried to adopt them before we left." She told her friend while putting away the injectors. She knew her friend loved her nieces with all her heart.

Vidara sighed at this. "You know I couldn't Mox, even if I tried, those bastards that were hunting my brother prevented that from happening, literally I was barred from adopting them. After a couple years those two disappeared completely. Though I think that's because my brother never told them about us." Vidara told her before looking back at Naruto. "Sorry about that, things get heavy when I point out her quirks." She apologized to Naruto while thinking of her two nieces.

Naruto waved off her apology. "It's fine, I honestly understand what happened to you. It happened to me too, though I was on the opposite side of it. My mother's best friend tried adopting me after she died. But the village elders prevented it from going through because said best friend came from a clan in the village. Added to the fact that she was married to the head of said clan, and you have one big political mess." Naruto told her while thinking back to that time. He really missed Mikoto, and was greatly saddened by her death during the Uchiha massacre. He still had the letter she left him before she died in a seal on his forearm to this day.

They then hear the doctor not far from them say something. "Sam, can you hear me?" She asks what looks like a swirling hologram of energy, but gets no answer. "Sam, are you online?" She asks in slight concern, wondering if the AI was malfunctioning.

Just then a voice with an almost emotionless robotic sound to answers. "Yes Dr. T'perro." The voice said, shocking Naruto at hearing a voice from out of nowhere. "Good morning Ryder, how are you feeling?" The voice asked Sarah with an inquisitive tone. Showing that it was just some stupid machine.

Sarah took a sip of her coffee before placing it beside her in a cup holder. "Like a six hundred year old popsicle. Eyes are also a little sensitive to light right now, but that's probably from the stupidly long nap they had us take on the way here." She answered to the AI before grabbing the cup and taking another sip.

Naruto kept looking around for where the voice was coming from when Moxi answered his unasked question. "That was Sarah's AI, Sam. It was developed by her father to help in combat from what I know. Not much else is known about it except that it's brand new and Andromeda will be its main testing grounds." She told him, getting a nod, though she saw he was still confused. Just then, groaning of metal could be heard, before the ship shook violently, throwing everyone who wasn't sitting down off their feet. It also shut off the artificial gravity causing everyone and everything to start floating.

Just then the intercom flared to life. "Engineering, report?!" A female voice demanded over the intercom. "Gravity in Cryo bay is offline." A male voice said over the same intercom in a clam tone.

Naruto, using the tree walking technique, stood up and grabbed Sarah's arm as she floated by him. "You think you could fix the gravity problem if I can get you where you need to go?" He asked her, getting a nod from her. "Good." He said before getting up with a bit of a wobble and walked Sarah to the center of the room. Causing her to wonder how he could walk like nothing was wrong? The gravity was completely offline in this part of the ship, so how was Naruto walking around like there was gravity?

Sarah then pressed a button on her Omni-tool. "This is Ryder, I'm going to attempt to rest the gravity in the Cryo bay. Everyone here, brace yourself." She told everyone listening, her voice sounding over the intercom. Once she turned off her mic, she pointed to a panel by the door. "Naruto, see if you can get me to that panel. It will let me get the gravity up and running." She told him, while still wondering how he could walk like normal without gravity? A question that was shared by everyone in the room.

Naruto nodded before quickly walking to where she pointed to, but just as they got there, a woman with blonde hair and a similar outfit as Sarah came through the doors. Who was quite shocked to see someone walking without gravity as a factor. "Questions later, we need to make sure things stop floating and people don't die." Naruto cuts off the unasked question before feeling the gravity turn back on and catch Sarah before she could fall.

Sarah was surprised at how quickly he let go of her arm and caught her to stop her from falling. It didn't help that, to her at least, it felt great being in Naruto's strong arms. This line of thought brought a blush to her cheeks. 'Where the hell did that come from? Sure there is this safe feeling that comes with it, but I should focus on what's going on now and what went wrong.' she thought to herself before shaking her head to clear out those thoughts.

The blonde woman got up and looked around. "Is everyone alright?" She asked while helping Vidara up. Who had floated away from where she originally was.

Everyone gave a chorus of yes and and yeahs, before Sarah asked the all Important question that was on everyone's mind. "What happened out there? It felt like the ship hit a massive meteor or something." This got the attention of many, especially Naruto who was helping up Moxi and Doctor T'perro from the ground.

The blonde woman shrugged her shoulders. "We don't know, our sensors are scrambled and can't get definite readings." She told them before looking at Naruto. "How did you do that? I'm pretty sure you aren't wearing Magna boots, and I know most humans can't walk on floors like that without gravity." She asked with curiosity prevalent in her voice.

Naruto chuckled lightly. "It's an ability my people had years ago. It was developed to help with control of the energy that fueled my powers, but had other more practical uses." He explained before catching a mug that fell from a hanging light. Which was taken by Moxi who thanked him for catching it.

Just then, the intercom went off and the Pathfinder's voice was heard. " This is the Pathfinder. Mission teams, continue prepositions. Cora. Ryders. Kija. Report to the bridge. And bring the Elementian with you, I want to meet one of the people who you dug out of that ice." He said before the intercom turned off.

The now named Cora nodded at this before turning around. "Alright, you heard the man, let's get moving." She said, but before they could leave, someone from further back in the Cryo bay spoke up.

"Uh, we may have a problem here." One of the Cryo team spoke up. "It seems some of the controls are damaged on Scott Ryder's pod." He said, which got Sarah's undivided attention.

Sarah raced over to her brother's pod. "Will he be alright?!" She asked with a lot of worry. She really didn't want to lose her brother, especially just after losing her fiance and mother a month before they left for Andromeda. Activating her scanner as quickly as possible.

Moxi and Lexi, who already had their scanners active, scanned the cryo pod. "From the readings I'm getting, Scott will be fine. Luckily we stopped the waking process before it could be interrupted by the damage. It could be much worse than it is, especially given the circumstances." Lexi said before getting to work helping get things fixed on the cryo pod. "Sam, are you still connected to Scott?"

The image of Sam came up on the table next to them. "My connection to Scott's implant was suspended. But all vitals and brain activity were completely normal before the connection was severed 5.7776 seconds ago." Sam replied in his usual monotone voice. Having the readings displayed on Moxi and Lexi's omni-tool.

Moxi nodded in agreement. "I'm getting the same readings. Your brother will be fine, it will just take a bit longer for him to be woken up. Especially with what needs to be fixed. Go see what your father needs Sarah, we'll make sure your brother wakes up soon." She told her with a kind smile and a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Sarah nodded, before turning around and saw Naruto standing behind her. "The doctors will do everything they can to keep your brother safe and alive." He told her. Before she could ask anything, Naruto put his hand up. "I know you're still worried about him. One of the things that is special about those like myself, is I'm able to read other's emotions. He wouldn't want you to worry so much about him that it might get you killed on any mission you're likely to go on right now." Naruto said before patting her shoulder. Sarah nodded at this. "Thanks Naruto." She said with a thankful smile.

They then walked over towards where Cora and Vidara were when something exploded with a burst of electricity. Naruto, faster than anyone could see, quickly covered and moved Sarah away from the blast radius at a speed that if one blinked; even the keenest of sight, would miss it. Alarms started blaring, as Naruto looks down at the young woman in his arms. "Are you alright?" He asks her with concern. Sarah nodded with a slight blush at her position of a low bridal carry. "Yeah I'm alright. Um, not to sound ungrateful, but could you let me down?" She asked with a sheepish apologetic tone, her blush growing slightly.

Naruto himself blushed a bit before letting her down and helped her stand up. "Sorry about that. Old reflexes from savings nobles back in the day during escort missions." Naruto apologized before looking at those who were trying to fix what just exploded along with Sarah and Cora. "What's the situation up there?!" Shouted Cora who recovered from the ringing in her ears.

One of the techs turned to them. "Whatever hit the ark fried everything! We need to balance out the power load or else everything could blow up!" She shouted while trying to control the damage.

Cora nodded in understanding before turning to Sarah. "Ryder! See if your scanner can find the problem. I'll help control power fluctuations on my end!" She ordered before getting to work on helping the engineers.

Sarah nodded and activated her scanner. Naruto also helped by keeping his eyes out for anything out of place. Sarah found nothing wrong after scanning several parts and was stumped a bit. It was then that Naruto noticed something. Something was sparkling behind the monitor on the side of what looked like something important. "Sarah, see if the problem is behind the screen to Cora's left!" Naruto called out to the brunette. "Right!" She called back before doing exactly that.

Relay 2-C

Internal heat Warping detected.

Status: *No current present*

Analysis:

This component had suffered an extreme temperature event and is non-functional.

"Ryder, Mr. Uzumaki is right. The relay experiencing heat warping would explain energy fluctuations." Sam said, giving it's thoughts on the analysis.

Sarah nodded at this. " Got it! Naruto's right, Bad relay!" She shouted while giving Naruto a thumbs up and a smile. "Ryder, can you go reset it?!" One of the technicians asked while trying to get the system to reroute the power away from the broken relay. Sarah nodded and rushed over to where Naruto was. She then began the reset process, and set it up for power transfer. Once it finished, she let the Technician know. "It's reset, you're all clear for transfer!" She shouted over crackling electricity and alarms.

Soon the power levels were returned to normal, alarms turned off, and the almost mist like vail that had started setting in dissipated. This caused everyone to settle down and breathe a sigh of relief.

Naruto and Sarah walked into the monorail and sat down beside Vidara who was seated next to the door. "You did great, Naruto, even I didn't catch that the generator was ready to blow. And I took engineering as a minor course during my studies." She complimented him for his quick reflexes and quick thinking. 'Really need to resharpen my memory on that subject so this doesn't happen again.' she thought to herself.

Naruto shrugged. "I was trained to be perceptive since I was a kid. A country that was constantly at war with each other tends to breed perceptive and strong people, unfortunately. Though I will say this, this has been one hell of a wake up call." Naruto said, getting nods of agreement from the women there. Including Cora who had walked in and punched in their destination.

The door slid shut and they began to move. Next stop, the bridge to meet the captain and the Pathfinder. Alex James Ryder.

1: In this fic, I've made it so Turians and Humans can cross breed. Though, they do lay eggs no matter the father due to their avian biology. I'm not sure if that last bit is canon or not, but I figured to be a bit realistic with this part.

AN:

Ok, thank fuck that's finally done and dusted. That took me way longer than I'd like to admit, but it's done. As stated the next chapter will be meeting Sarah's dad and the descent onto habitat 7. What perils and adventures await our favorite blonde knucklehead and the soon to be Pathfinder? What kind of fresh hell have the Keet found themselves in now that Naruto is added to the mix? Come back and you shall find out, as the story continues.
