On her way, Jenny wanted to be her normal height again. That's when she came across a mushroom in the forest she was walking in. She used her rocket boots to see over the mushroom, where she found a caterpillar (XJ-8, another one of Jenny's sisters) smoking a water pipe.
"It's not polite to stare at me," said the caterpillar (XJ-8). "I'm sorry. There's just something wrong with me," said Jenny. "What might be the problem?" asked the caterpillar (XJ-8). "I've been several different sizes and it's so confusing," said Jenny, flying on top of the mushroom and sitting down.
"What do you mean?" asked the caterpillar (XJ-8). "What I mean is that I fell in a hole in a tree and since then, I've been changing sizes. First I was small, then big, and now I'm small again. I just want to find a way home," said Jenny, "I hate being only 3 inches high."
"It is a great height to be. I am exactly 3 inches high," said the caterpillar (XJ-8), "but I have a solution. One side of the mushroom will make you grow, and the other side will make you shrink." Jenny watched the caterpillar (XJ-8) crawl off the mushroom.
She flew down and picked off the two sides of the mushroom. She bit into the one in her left hand and started growing again. Next, she bit the one in her right hand and shrunk. By eating different parts of the mushroom, Jenny was able to return to her normal size and continue on her way.
