Chapter 1
Forest of Death:
"Hey kid. You're not hurt are you?. You scaredy cat" Naruto said as he barely managed to stop the giant snake from killing his teammate.
"Look at you…standing there frozen like a frightened rabbit. No way. You're not the Sasuke I know"
Sasuke hearing those words snaps him out of his fear only to look on in shock as the so called "woman" grabs a hold of Naruto with her tongue pulling him up towards her.
Orochimaru can't help but feel somewhat impressed that the blonde had survived his summon. He then secretly starts doing hand signs behind his back before each finger on his right hand has what looks to be small purple flames.
He then lifts Naruto a little higher and with the tip of his tongue he then lifts up the blondes orange jacket before calling out his jutsu and then slamming it into Naruto's stomach where the kyuubi's seal was located.
"FIVE PRONGED SEAL!"
Unknown Location/ moments prior:
"How curious. It would seem Naruto is now destined to die" a woman spoke as she observed a young Naruto through one of her magical mirrors who had just saved his friend from a giant snake.
The woman in question was an elderly woman sitting on a floating mechanical chair of sorts.
She had grayish hair, wore a pair of goggles with red lenses and was wearing a long red dress with a white spider symbol. The chair itself was an elaborate spider themed chair that also doubled as a life support system for her.
"But why has his destiny changed? He is the child of prophecy."
As she looked on, she then noticed the disguised ninja doing hand signs which meant he was getting ready to seal the blonde's chakra, unaware that the jutsu was about to go horribly wrong and kill the blonde.
"Something sinister is at work here. Clearly someone or something doesn't want Naruto to fulfill the prophecy"
She had seen into the future and saw all the good things the young blonde would accomplish over time. Now however it seemed that his destiny had been changed by unknown means which meant that there would now be no one there to stop all the villains from accomplishing their goals if the blonde died.
"Not to mention whoever is behind this change will get what they want"
She knew she couldn't allow this to happen. She couldn't let this new reality lose the child of prophecy which left her no choice.
"I have to restore his past memories and powers"
Flashback:
Otherplace:
Otherplace, otherwise known as Limbo or Demonic Limbo is a dark magical dimension that is inhabited by various types of demons who have come to call the evil dimension home.
At the very center of these hellish lands is a black marble throne that was surrounded the corpses of various demons. This is where the ruler of Limbo and master of the demons resided.
The one called Demogoblin.
Demogoblin was a tall pale yellow demon who had red slitted eyes with black rings and razor sharp teeth. The demon wore a tattered dark blue hooded robe that was dark blue on the outside and blood red on the inside while its clothes consisted of a tactical dark blue armor and a demonic orange belt.
Said hooded demon could be seen sitting on the throne while looking fondly at a green gem in it's hand that was a gift from one of his wives who had passed away long ago.
It was a painful reminder how despite everything he's been through and all that he's accomplished, in the end he was left with nothing.
His wives and children…all gone. Lost to the ravages of time. What was worse was that over time he had finally found a way to grant someone immortality thanks to his magic manipulation. Unfortunately… it was obviously too late.
"What a cruel joke"
"What if I told you I could give you a second chance at life" an unknown voice spoke having him look up only to see an elderly woman sitting on some sort of mechanical spider themed chair.
"Who are you? And how did you get inside this dimension?" Demogoblin demanded.
"I am Madame Web. A cosmic being who is tasked to watch over all realities" the elderly woman answered with Demogoblin now being even more on guard.
What do you want?"Demogoblin asked while getting ready to summon the hellfire glider behind the woman to cut her in half should she try anything. Cosmic being or not he would not go down without a fight should she decided to attack him.
"I am here because another reality has just been created" Madame Web said
"And what does that have to do with me?"
"It has everything to do with you considering their is an alternate version of your old world in this new reality… Naruto" Madame Web responded getting a surprised look from Demogoblin who is then engulfed in hellfire for several seconds before dispersing revealing a much older looking Naruto who had long faded spiky blonde hair and a small beard,
"How did you know who I am?"
Hearing this Madame Web smiles sadly but responds nonetheless.
"I know all about you and your struggles Naruto. To sum it up, I saw how you went from being a helpless child who was neglected by their family to becoming one of the most powerful beings in the Elemental Nations. You fought and defeated powerful opponents who would have killed anyone else and to top it off, you succeeded in taking over the Elemental nations. You even had many wives and children, though unfortunately they all eventually passed away from old age leaving you all alone"
Hearing this Naruto can't help but frown seeing as he didn't like the fact that someone had been watching him all this time.
"You mentioned a second chance" Naruto said, changing the subject as he didn't want to talk about his past.
"I know this is all so sudden and I've given you no reason to trust me seeing as we just met but think of it like this. If you accept my offer, not only will you have another chance at a normal life this time around but I will also rid you of the curse of the Demogoblin." Madame Web said getting a look of surprise from Naruto.
Being free from the curse was something he had always wanted and now here was his chance. But still…
"What do you get out of this?" Naruto asked as this all seemed to be too good to be true.
Madame Web hearing this can't help but smile "What I get out of this is the new Elemental Nations having a child of prophecy"
Naruto hearing this can't help but inwardly scoff seeing as that damn prophecy would be a part of him again.
"And the catch?"
"The catch is should you be on the verge of death, I will have no choice but to restore both your memories and powers so you won't die." Madame Web said with Naruto frowning at that as he realized there was a very high chance of that happening seeing as it was a kill or be killed kind of world. "There's also the matter of you possibly being young again or not depending when and 'if' the old you returns. What happens after that however is up to you" Madam Web finished.
"Again, this only affects me. So surely you want something in return" Naruto asked seeing as she had yet to tell him why she was helping him.
Madame Web knew she had him so why not tell him.
"If nothing out of the ordinary happens to you in your new life then I won't ask for anything. However, should you once again become the Demogoblin then I may ask for your assistance in the near future should the need arise" Madam Web said cryptically.
'So depending on my new life, I may or may not be needed to repay this debt'
"So what do you say Naruto. Do you accept my offer?"
At this, Naruto closes his eyes and begins to think on the offer. Does he want to go back and start anew or does he want to stay here in this accursed dimension.
The choice was obvious.
"I accept"
Flashback End:
"I am truly sorry Naruto but I am left with no choice. I can't allow you to die"
Using her powers, she then covers the younger blond in purple smoke.
The forest of Death:
"FIVE PRONGED SEAL!"
The moment Naruto was struck with the jutsu, he screams in agonizing pain only for things to get worse as both the Five pronged seal and the Kyuubi's seal for whatever reason starts spreading all over his body having him trash around shocking Orochimaru since that wasn't supposed to happen.
The moment he was about to pull his hand back to see what had happened the blonde suddenly grabs the offending arm catching him off guard
Naruto was then engulfed in purple smoke leaving Orochimaru no choice but to try and move away from the blonde only to be unable to because of the blondes grip.
'Such strength. Is this the Kyuubi's doing?'
It was then that he could feel his arm burning having him scream in pain but couldn't pull his arm away because of the blondes grip.
Seeing no other choice, just as he was about to summon the Kusanagi to cut the blondes arm off he then hears what sounds like the blondes voice only slightly deeper coming from the smoke.
"To think I would become "this " again..."
The smoke then started clearing revealing a tall silhouette wearing a pointy hooded robe and glowing dark red eyes sending chills down Orochimaru's spine and once the smoke fully cleared could Orochimaru and the others truly see who it was in the smoke.
Where the short blonde once stood was now tall older blonde with semi long spiky hair and deep blue eyes who looked to be in his late teens. Gone were the horrendous orange clothes as the blonde now wore a tattered dark blue hooded robe that was dark blue on the outside and blood red on the inside while his clothes consisted of a tactical dark blue armor and a demonic orange belt.
"So you're the reason why I've been brought back." The hooded blonde said in a clearly angry tone who without warning had quickly let go of the snake sannin's hand only to grab him by the neck instead and then lifting him up with ease surprising everybody.
Naruto is then covered in the flames of hell before dispersing moments later revealing his demonic form.
"Time to die!"
Basically the Naruto from the original Rise of the Demogoblin which is another alternate Naruto is now in the "Cannon" reality
