Author's Note:
I do not own Library of Ruina or RWBY. These series belong to Project Moon and RoosterTeeth respectively.
I saw the lack of Library of Ruina and RWBY content so I decided to input my own story into the mix. I hope you enjoy!

In an alternative universe, humanity had exhausted the planet of all its resources. However, the discovery of powerful technologies known as "Singularities" has given humanity another chance to survive. Mega Corporations would take control of the new technology and these "Singularities" became the cornerstone of society. Multiple mega corporations would gather the remains of humanity into a singular area.
The City, a massive urban complex of 26 districts, is the last known bastion of humanity to billions of people, yet it is a location of suffering and fear. Syndicates, cults, mafia organizations, corrupt governments, and the like are spread throughout the City. Each district is split between two sectors: the poor and the not-poor. The former which is known as the Nests, run by the Wings and many other organizations. Brightly lit-up neon lights and tall skyscrapers make up most of the Nests. However, the same cannot be said for its sister counterpart. A place of tight alleyways and streets riddled with crime and death, life in the Backstreets is a game of survival where only the fittest survive to live another day and the rest perish with the rest.
Within the City, large professional organizations known as Associations specialize in doing the jobs that no one else wants to do. "Fixers" are the main laborers of Associations, they perform their duties according to their contracts. Whether it be simple chores or assassination, Fixers will do their task whether they like it or not.
A large, towering structure, one can see the many branches stemming from the tower's central part, giving off the feeling of a dead tree. The tower is tall enough that it pierces the clouds. Around the tower is one of the districts, many buildings surround the massive structure brimming with light.
This is the Library. A place made by a single individual striving for freedom and revenge. It exists in the middle of one of the districts of the City: a massive urban complex that holds the remnants of humanity. The Library is one of the most infamous "Star of the Cities" to exist in the City, taking down most Associations and Syndicates without faltering. It had been months since the first appearance of the Library, starting out as a rumor and ending up as one of the lights in the night sky. Yet, it has been considered an Impurity by the City's government, the Head. The once-rising star has been sentenced to leave the City via teleportation.
—THE LIBRARY—
Inside the Library, its once clean and fancy appearance has been distorted upon recognition. It has suffered many battles in its last few days. Angela, an A.I. designed to manage a story written by her creator, looked back at all the violence that was spilled in her Library. Her light-blue hair, yellow eyes, and pale skin with her usual dark blue librarian uniform stared blankly at the state of her E.G.O. Most of her Librarians were sleeping inside their own books due to her weakened Library after returning all the Light to the people. A distant boom shakes the entire structure, and some books on the shelves fall. Sounds of fighting can be heard from the top floor of the Library along with several voices yelling out in pain. Upon seeing the top floor, a partially destroyed bridge made out of gray books with a newly created crater in the middle of it can be seen.
The group on the left features a woman with black hair that reaches her chin with short bangs and equally black eyes, yet she has white skin that contrasts with her black features. Her outfit consists of mainly black and gold with a black button-up shirt dress and a black hoodless cape embroidered with gold outlines. Five gold rings on each hand and a smug look. This is Zena, an Arbiter of the Head. On her left is Baral, a Claw of the Head: a black-suited man with a brown helmet with a large gauntlet on his left arm. Three syringes; orange, blue, and green, can be seen stemming up from his arm to his head. These two have a mission to rid of the Library with the possible extra goal of retrieving a lost asset.
On the opposite side of the Agents of the Head are Angela's Librarians: a man and two women, seen standing side by side. The man looks similar to the Claw in front of him without a helmet or gauntlet. His outfit is stained with blood, both his and his enemies. Despite looking in pain, the Patron Librarian of General Works keeps a cool face and a straight posture.
"Roland," a voice to his left called out to him. The taller, red-haired woman was wearing a greyish-brown leather long coat with a dark grey leather shirt and black pants. Her hair was tied into a huge, messy ponytail that reached her thighs. Scars ran across her face; one scar over her left eye turned it grey compared to its natural gold. It was Gebura, the Patron Librarian of Language. "You good?" She questioned.
Roland, the now-named person, heaved a heavy breath before responding. "Yeah, that attack really hurt. I can still feel it," Roland weakly replied.
The other woman on his right, wearing a similar outfit to the Arbiter with long black hair and golden hexagonal patterns covering her hoodless cape. The Patron Librarian of Philosophy spoke with a very diligent voice, "While it is good that you are still able to converse, I would advise you two to fixate on the battle ahead of us." Roland and Gebura steadied themselves after hearing Binah's advice.
While Roland, Gebura, and Binah held out on their own against the top agents of the Head, it still felt like they hadn't done any damage to them. Zena and Baral looked relatively untouched even after the three of them hit them with everything they had. This would be a long-fought fight if the librarians wanted to survive. However, a sudden tremor shook the entire Library once again.
"...What the?" Roland confusedly asked. "What's up with this tremor?"
"Looks like they're gonna press ahead with the plan," Gebura scowled.
Zena looked upon their peeved faces in joy before eyeing Binah only. "Garion…As much as it is a shame that we've failed to retrieve your once crumbled body…" She spoke with as much provocation as she could. "The end is nigh."
Binah only slightly smiled at that.
"This place will be expelled as planned," Zena continued to tell their plans. "Prepare to be sent to the Outskirts, a truly great distance from the City. Beget not fear. You are simply being relocated to where you belong."
The black and red fixers gave her a glare at her insults, not wanting to follow the plans of their enemies whilst the Library's own Arbiter stared back at the younger Arbiter with a deadpanned look.
"I only ask that you do not return. The City cannot leave room for beings such as you," the attacker of the Library commented. "For now, we shall kindly move you to the Outskirts. But should you return to the City, we would consider it such that you have chosen to disregard our kindness." Her monologue continued. "So mark my words well, and stay where you rightfully belong."
Roland trying to respond to her irritating spiel, only gave out a grunt before the two agents teleported out of the Library. The Library, visibly shakier, began to fall apart. Outside, a Nestwide Broadcast started to countdown the expulsion of the Library. Trying to avoid being crushed to death, the three Librarians make their way to cover. However, their bodies start to glow a brilliant shine and turn into pages, dissipating into the air. Their entire bodies disappear as they are "booked" by their resident Head Librarian as a way to save them. Angela desperately waits out the expulsion from the City in her office, until it finally stops.
Confident that the expulsion was over, Angela unbooks her trusted servant, Roland. Whilst the unbooking process is brief, she notices how different the night sky looks out from her balcony. Unpolluted by the smog of the City and shines many stars. However, she is taken aback by something within the night sky.
"Ughh…I hate when this happens." Roland mutters to himself as he walks toward his boss. "...So, Angela, what's happ-" Roland stops all movement as his eyes follow where Angela was staring at.
The moon was shattered with many pieces scattered around it.
Both Librarians were too shocked to notice anything else. The moon was destroyed by something. Many thoughts raced through their heads: Why was it shattered? Who did it? Was it a singularity? Did an abnormality break it? Was it White Night?
The first one to come back to reality was Angela. "Roland. Why is the moon broken?"
Roland, still too shocked to process anything his boss was saying. "I..uh...wha-" Roland stuttered confusingly before regaining his sanity back. "...I have no idea, Miss Director. Yesod or Hokma or someone smarter than me might be able to explain." Roland deflected the question while still looking at the shattered moon.
Just as she was about to unbook the rest of the Patron Librarians starting with Yesod and Hokma first, she noticed the area where the Library resided in. It was unlike the stories she heard from Roland or the books that talked about the Outskirts. Outside the Library was an entirely green forest, it stretched as far as she could see. She never saw anything like this either in the City or in Facility X-394.
"Roland, what did you say before about the Outskirts?" She questioned, hoping to disprove her first thoughts of the Outskirts.
Roland stared back at her confusedly, like how anything other than a barren wasteland was hard to miss. Before he could sound out his thoughts, the fixer looked at their surroundings before shouting, "WHAT THE!", he continued, "This isn't the Outskirts. Where are we!?"
–HEADMASTER'S OFFICE, BEACON–
A white-haired man sitting on a chair inside a room full of clocks and gears. Ticks and tocks can be heard throughout the room. The room was empty save for a few tables and plants along with his coffee mug. The man sitting stared at a device in his hands, it was a holographic screen with two solid white end grips.
The man set his device on his desk, allowing for a holographic projection to emit itself from his desk showing him what was on his screen. He shifted his glasses back up to his eyes before taking a sip of his hot cocoa.
"Mmm…" A well-spoken voice sounded out in the empty office. "This is a problem."
